221  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [ANN] Physical Bitcoin Gift Cards available for Pre-Order (USA - Free Shipping) on: May 12, 2012, 10:24:20 PM
Looks like it scans with a QR code. What if I don't have a reader?
222  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator [v0.17] on: May 10, 2012, 11:36:52 PM
I get:

WARNING: Using CPU pattern matcher

and get 98KKey/sec with an ATI 7970. GPU usage stays at 0% and CPU around 10%. What's wrong?
223  Economy / Gambling / Re: AnoniBet Sportsbook on: May 10, 2012, 10:27:00 PM
I love how you have all of the different kind of bets. The other bitcoin sportsbook I use only does spread, money, and totals. Looks great!

Technomage is right though, you should definitely have a native English speaker comb through the site for typos.

225  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Instruct card to wait between hashes on: May 06, 2012, 08:29:32 PM
I'm currently using Diablo. The f argument worked great, thanks ssateneth.
Any reason why you'd want to do that?  You bought the most expensive card, I say let it bleed.
Summer is quickly approaching, and I won't be mining if it means turning the AC up too far, as I'll spend more money cooling the room than I'll make.
226  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Instruct card to wait between hashes on: May 04, 2012, 10:27:32 AM
How do I do this?
I'm currently using DiabloMiner but I'm all for going for an alternative miner if I get to use this feature.

EDIT: I'm using an ATI 7970.
227  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Earn Quick BTC [Dropbox Signup] on: June 17, 2011, 07:00:40 PM
Thanks for the help guys! BTC will be sent to those that participated within the next few minutes.
228  Economy / Marketplace / Earn Quick BTC [Dropbox Signup] on: June 17, 2011, 04:12:49 PM
I want to increase my cloud space a little bit, so I'm willing to pay 6 people .25 BTC (a bitquarter?) each to sign up for dropbox using my referral link.

The fine print is, the computer can't already have dropbox on it already, and the email has to be unused. You actually have to install dropbox on the computer and run it once but after that it's fair game to uninstall.

My referral link is here: http://db.tt/GOJ0egZ

Once you sign up, post your email address and the bitcoin address you want the bitcoins sent to here (or, PM if your scared of spam).

229  Other / Obsolete (selling) / [SOLD!] XFX ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB on: June 16, 2011, 07:23:50 PM
Part no. HD587AZNF9
Got this card a while back, never plugged it in. Since then, I've used it for mining for about a month, and now that it's so hot here, I really don't feel like extra heat floating around in my room.
I haven't gotten the chance to pull the card out of my computer, yet, so no pics until tomorrow.

With intense OC this card will get to 430MH/s. I ran it at a light OC so I got 380MH/s.

Will be shipped via USPS for domestic, for international contact me for details. Please offer prices in PM. I'm asking the equivalent of 140USD in bitcoin (including shipping), but you're free to offer more/less.
230  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Introducing: Bitcoin Prizes (Free Bitcoins) on: June 12, 2011, 04:22:00 PM
I don't see how there would be a catch - not like Bitcoins are reversible.

Oh, and if you are really paranoid, just grab another email and setup forwarding.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Clearcoin server error? on: June 06, 2011, 07:20:44 PM

232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Clearcoin server error? on: June 06, 2011, 10:11:35 AM
Yes, the transaction page doesn't show from the side of the party receiving the bitcoins.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Clearcoin server error? on: June 05, 2011, 05:31:55 PM
Whenever I send my buyer the link to the transaction page, they get a server error:

An error occured processing your web page request. Sorry! Please try again in a little bit.

Any idea about this?
234  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC Guild - 0% Fees, Long polling, SSL, JSON API, and more [~500 gH/sec] on: June 03, 2011, 10:10:42 AM
I'll be sticking with Guild for now. I guess we're all experiencing the tech difficulties. Hopefully you can work some magic Eleu
This. Good luck, and thanks for all the work!
235  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] SSL, API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 12:16:32 AM
The demographic of the hacked/infected boxes varies from attack to attack, but when *nix boxes are involved, in my experience it was a security flaw in the program or OS that was patched a /long time ago/. Windows boxes are much more easy to infect if the user is naive and does not take preemptive measures against attacks.

Boxes that are used in attacks don't have to be on T1/T3 connections, a botnet of thousands of dial-up computers will do just fine.

In short? Good luck finding the person "in charge", all you can really do is defend.

237  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BitcoinTournament.com on: May 27, 2011, 01:59:24 AM
If you would put it together, I would participate. However, I will not be buying stocks (too lazy to learn glbse, plus no money to invest).

240  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining power of an entire school? on: May 23, 2011, 10:58:49 AM
I don't blame you for not believing me, but whenever I run it I just get 0MH/s. It's something I gave up on a few weeks ago.
