221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE - Official Discussion Thread! Distributing the coins! on: August 07, 2014, 05:23:39 PM
Ok Mr. I don't have time, but you have time to troll a coin you aren't even invested in and write walls of text on most of your pointless posts.  One thing I never do is waste time trolling threads I'm not financially involved in. That's for self important douche bags like yourself.

Are you kidding me with this? HunterMinerCrafter questions and critique are more then fair and the lack of adequate responses from the devs are worrying.

Oh what do you know, a NXT scumbag jumping on the troll bandwagon.
Yeah, what do I know, I'm only the second largest NODE holder.

Good for you douche.
Good job Cannon Fodder hurting the image of NODE by being an A++ douche.

Wow, if one person can hurt the image of NODE, well........

well.... it is people like you. Calling everyone a NXT shill and getting all defensive.

Yes, because the forum was hacked this way. Someone uploaded code hidden inside a picture.

Google COSBY COIN.
Ah, I suppose that it's another forum running with stupid nginx settings. Anyway, I like my current avatar Cheesy

Yeah another reason why people complain on this forum, that the new forum software is delayed every year. ( I think first ETA was 2011!)
223  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin did it! on: August 07, 2014, 05:12:25 PM
I've seen this on TV, nice gesture, Freud would be pleased Cheesy

P.S. Is there anybody knows an exact reason, why avatar changing feature has been disabled?

Yes, because the forum was hacked this way. Someone uploaded code hidden inside a picture.

Google COSBY COIN.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity on: August 07, 2014, 05:10:18 PM
ring signatures used in coins like monero cause blockchain bloat making them unusable for mainstream adoption...so no...XC is what your looking for, read it and weep if your not invested already https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=630547.0  Roll Eyes

Can you explain a little about mainstream adoption and its compatibility problem with the ring signatures?

Imagine 2 blockchains processing the same amount of transcations. Now Chain 1 is running with ringsignatures and Chain 2 is not.

Now lets say that every year 500 GB of transaction data gets produced and no blockchain pruning and shrinking is available.
After 1/2/3/4/5 years
Chain 1: 750GB/1.5 TB/2.25TB/3TB/3.75TB
Chain 2: 500GB/1TB/1.5TB/2TB/2.5 TB

And this is under the best case scenario that ringsignatures only produce 50% bigger tx. This number can be higher!
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2015 on: August 07, 2014, 05:04:55 PM
Definatly one of the cryptonight coins (probably monero).

Their main disadvantage, is that people who were born on Superman's planet won't be able to use them.

haha, so no superman coin with cryptonight features Sad

Sexual predators creep me out. My Dad was a cop and I remember his take on them. He would say something like "A thief steals because that is what he does. A rapist rapes because that is who he is."

Good saying. One step further: A thief might steal because he has to survive, but a rapist?
228  Other / Off-topic / Re: rapist must die on: August 07, 2014, 05:02:38 PM
yes, the prison is too cramped already

Yes they are. But it is the fault of the US justice system. There is a reason, why they literally jail everyone they supsect of anything... 8 times the incarcaration rate of europe.

229  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 3 - RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED on: August 07, 2014, 04:58:31 PM

Did you read the specifics? This is the most advanced dice game out there. The only one that offers playervsplayer dice ect!
OK. If you are so excited of it, I'll try it when it will open.

I think you are the first person ever that I saw with a gif as an avatar. Epic!
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 07, 2014, 04:53:56 PM
I got a very bad feeling about the IPO of ethereum now...

When did you invest? How much?
232  Other / Off-topic / Re: rapist must die on: August 07, 2014, 04:53:31 PM
Jails actually are more criminal factories than correction facilities because of the environment. You have abuses of power from the guards, and obviously, lower class criminals mixed with higher class criminals, so the odds are that when you get out you will be on a higher tier on criminality.

MUST READ -> http://www.amazon.com/The-Lucifer-Effect-Understanding-People/dp/0812974441/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407372753&sr=8-1&keywords=lucifer+effect

This is only like that in your country. European facilities are very well organized to help those guys and give them a chance to better them selves. This is done with much education and work. Later halfwayhouses and then with companies that offer those guys jobs so that they have no need to become criminal again. The success rate is over the roof, compared to US corrupt crap prisons...
Exactly it is much different in these places and I think that it actually does work. I wouldn't become better after being trapped in a facility for 30 years either.
Just read about this one: http://www.theguardian.com/society/2013/feb/25/norwegian-prison-inmates-treated-like-people
Time to do something bad there and go to prison?  Cheesy

They changed the SITUATION! So the behavior is different, they aren't treated like criminal prisoners, but like people, probably with individuality... No wonder that one in specific does work. That's the point of the book. lol you guys have some understanding problem?

No we don't. We try to make a point. Sure the result of the experiment was like that. But it was an experiment after all.

Do you know the film http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0250258/?ref_=nv_sr_1 ? Same result as your book, but those results are falsified because people that attend such experiments are not trained and selected like prisons with good standards.

Those experiments might hold true for US and 3rd world country prisons, but EU prisons are far off.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: August 07, 2014, 04:47:29 PM
I just dont get the hate on STR, imo its better than a coin IPO'd on vaporwares (cof Ethereum cof)

Aheem ?? Did you see a software of STR? Because I sure didn't. All I know is, that STR could be a centralised ledger system.

Or do you run a client?
234  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: i want to give 100 BTC to one user on bitcointalk. tell me why it is U. on: August 07, 2014, 04:46:09 PM
I hope someone that deserves it wins!!

Noone deserves free money, so as noone will get something, it fits Wink

wrong. theoretical everyone deserves. as everyone deserves free food.
we just have the wrong goals with it...

Doesn't make sense. You say everyone deserves food. Why not give food to everyone then? Why money?

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2015 on: August 07, 2014, 04:36:54 PM
Cryptonight is the PoW implemented in the Cryptonote codebase.

Monero is based on Cryptonote and therefore both a cryptonote and cryptonight coin.

Oh I see, never heard of that term. Do you have any good links to a whitepaper discussing it?
239  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much of your earning you are converting to BTC? on: August 07, 2014, 04:34:48 PM
The price of Bitcoin will follow the supply/demand law, no matter what.
If some big guys start purchasing bitcoins like crazy, the price it's going to go up no matter how much the whales will dump.

If bitcoin goes mainstream the demand would be HUGE. So much that the supply of bitcoins in some exchanges wouldn't follow and then the prices would go stratospheric.

If you don't believe in this, come back in 2 years and let see who is right.

Someone calculated on this forums that if someone wants to invest 1 billion USD within a month, he would likely tripple the price while doing so.
240  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Bitcoin-Trader - Passives Nebeneinkommen / Arbitrage 1-3% Gewinn on: August 07, 2014, 04:33:52 PM
riskant sind nur die ersten
160 tage alles was danach kommt ist gewinn
