221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why medium is suspending all bounty Hunters accounts on: March 30, 2019, 09:11:52 PM
The onslaught started in 2018 when medium management felt that bounty hunters spam the forum and thereby making the core readers of medium blog which are mostly not into cryptocurency irk. It led medium to take the drastic measure. Kindly use cryptocurrency friendly forums such as steemit.com, minds.com and LinkedIn.com. They all have large viewer base too
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin is the best in your opinion? Poll on: March 30, 2019, 09:00:39 PM
This is a list of heavy weight projects with remarkable features. But asides bitcoin, Ethereum remain my favourite. Its dynamic, secure and dependable. Many other projects took a page from its book
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profits In 2018 Bear Market on: March 30, 2019, 08:56:44 PM
Well i understand this might sound awkward to an extent but the truth must be told. I used to be among those who cry and weep as a result of the bear market, But this period have taught me a lot in the cryptocurrency space. I am not ashamed to say i got a consideration good reward from participating in numerous Bounty. Thereafter most times the token i got from this Bounty dropped in price and value almost immediately after listing in exchange.

What Did I Do?
Instead of waiting for imaginary pump to occur, i study the market, trade with those token and successfully i have been able to double my token and at the same time double my reward with considerable profits made from trading such tokens.

This is a call to everyone out there, either Investors, Bounty Participants as the case maybe or traders. Instead of crying daily or keep checking your portfolio to see how easy it is for tokens in your disposal dip in price, you can actually carry out this trade an make some good profits. The earlier you learn how to trade the better it will be to save those digital assets of Yours. Because it is possible for you to trade those token, take out your profit and still have an equivalent amount of that token.

Remember, this is not a financial advise nor neither am i a financial adviser. Just trying to point out what has been working for me and i have been able to do it multiple times and cash out my profits during the bear markets.

All The Best Guys  Cool

2018 was a year of shit coins. Most coins were just pump and dump, you buy a bag at good entry point and when momentum rises a, you dump on people fomoing. Then cash out and go to the next available shit coin to repeat process. That not withstanding, making money requires research and ability to identify the next best thing in the market no matter what, this ideology works in every financial market
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have any chance in the future recent IEO will be like as scam ICO? on: March 30, 2019, 08:43:28 PM
I believe so. IEOs is only better than ICOs at raising funds and it's not yet fool-proof to investors to say the least. Bittorrent is already trading far lower than its all time high. People who loose money after buying from those that manage to buy from IEO event may get weary one day and withdraw. And the decline will begin
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which algo is the best? on: March 30, 2019, 08:39:53 PM
hello all,
i want to fork a new coin. which algo in your opinion is the best to fork? give me your reason.
thanks

First question is what do you want and plan to achieve. If you answer all these correctly then your search  can be narrowed to the best suitable algorithm for your coin. But then, why fork or create a coin that has or won't have any economic and development importance to the cryptocurency market.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: March 24, 2019, 12:48:11 PM
I noticed this phenomenon. Often someone buys up all the proposed tokens with a small amount of trading (for example, look at SMT on hitbtc this night), and after a few days these tokens go up in price very much. Is it worth buying such a token?

It is a very high risk and one I can't take. Love volumes indicates little or zero interest from the crypto community. Although, other factors might be responsible for it but in most cases things hardly turn out good considering my 2 years of experience in this cryptocurrency market
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? on: March 22, 2019, 11:38:20 PM
Hi all!
I and many of us here earned a lot coins form bounty campaigns. And I have real dilemma: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? How to avoid loosing everything by holding coins that will die, but also how to choose coins that are good to hold because they can give us 10x,100x.
Thank you for your comments Wink.

This is a huge question and one I never found an answer to after consulting my mentors.. It all depends on personal reservations, experience and knowledge acquired from market movements and study. They all combine to give a clue of a possible expected rise or sharp dump in prices before selling off the assets
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH?? on: March 22, 2019, 11:12:52 PM
Since most of the alt coins are traded with BTC or ETH. SO I think altcoins prie are dependent on the price of this two.
What is your opinion please share.

Technically Yes because bitcoin and Ethereum are base coins to most altcoins especially the ethereum. For example, if 10000abc coins worth 1 eth at (150usd). If ethereum price now does x3, that means 10000abc coin is now worth 3eth = 450usd. The case can aswell be negative.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution for crypto currency investors on: March 22, 2019, 11:01:52 PM
Crypto currency now is quite in the correction state and i think there is need to get of cuurrencies and go into tech (technology).

Investment should be made only when they are Companies that have platforms and protocols, companies with new ways to utilize blockchain in various sectors
Then the biggest gainers, outside the hype world we are now, ill be those on the block chain in which the future is built.

Just my thoughts, but i think its the best way out to invest

Blockchain project or not, I think investors are more interested in the team make up of a project becauses the pedigrees of the team will definitely reflect on the project, further more, investors are interested in token economics of the project as well as its marketing strength.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: March 22, 2019, 10:56:40 PM
I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

As usually expected. They are called shit coins for a purpose because they hardly have a good team, bad tokenomics and distribution, little marketing or social awareness and zero minimum value product. They are mostly pump and dump coins.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: March 22, 2019, 10:51:30 PM
Cryptocurrency  is like a water in a bowl, the water moves but the bowl determines the flow

We crypto users are the Bowl. The reality of life is do you do the right things with the water (altcoins, bitcoins, Etherum Huh )

This simply means only crypto users causes the bearish moment and the bull run
Make the right decisions

It has shown the tendency that the blockchain-tech behind it is not just revolutionary but as a transactional tool, it's a big asset to the online world. The offline world can react to fiat as its legal tender but Crypto has proven it can also be regarded as the internet currency with much more benefits than fiat. This is why cryptocurrency will survive
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the king of Altcoin? on: March 17, 2019, 01:46:34 PM
The king of cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. But who is the king of Altcoin?

The King of Altcoin who is ETH or Litecoin? I think ETH is the reason most are used in ETH at airdrop. And the price of the ETH is much higher than all other Altcoin. The number of users of ETH coins is also much higher. Litecoin also has a number of users then I think ETH coins are King of Altcoin. It is my personal opinion. You can give your opinion. I know there is many more good Altcoin but ETH is the best. I hope everyone will give feedback.

Best regards
Coin-Desk

It has to be ethereum. It is second behind bitcoin on coinmarketcap based on market capitalisation. Its the innovator of smart contracts and the mother of over 50 percents coins in the market via its dapp platform
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: March 17, 2019, 01:25:22 PM
Guys, how do you think, is a ready-made product important for ICO project?

In my opinion, it is, because it can show investors that the team is ready to bring huge results and has future plans.

As an example - KickCity, event platform where each user is rewarded for event promotion. You can try it today. More information you can find here  https://medium.com/@kickcity_io/kickcity-public-beta-5aa66fafc5c7

The ideas is this: a product (offline or online) is like a service. An indication of value a platform proposes to offer and since cryptocurency and blockchain technology is all about adoption and its enthusiasts yearn for adoption, perhaps project developers should get keen on products with value added services to the world
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death Penalty to ICO Scammers! Are you favor it? on: March 17, 2019, 01:10:59 PM
As we all know still exit scam ICO's are victimizing investors including me in my frustration I wish these people be killed or if busted they must sentenced to death Penalty are you favor of it.

I understand you might have lost a reasonable amount of money to these unscrupulous ICO fraudsters. However, I believe a jail time up to 10 - 20 years should be the penalty in my opinion. This is more humane than death penalty
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: March 17, 2019, 12:36:10 PM
No, they are not. Some have better use cases, real life applications and more scalable than bitcoin. Even the most recognised altcoin called ethereum is an accepted form of payment alongside bitcoin on Coinbase
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There will be many tokens that go to zero. on: March 13, 2019, 08:05:19 PM
This is true because trading alone can't sustain a project. It must have a minimum value product which investors look up to for development and this drives the prices. Alot of coins listed on coinmarketcap are mere pump and dump trade tools which will crash to zero sooner or later
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Publish0x - The next Steemit? on: March 13, 2019, 07:57:49 PM
I caught a glimpse of the platform and I was impressed. It has a lot of improved factors such as ease of use due to its simple user interface, large and growing readers and rewarding ecosystem. It will be a strong competitor to steemit
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: March 13, 2019, 07:49:51 PM
A popular philosopher would say, "I have not failed but rather discovered ways which a particular experiment shouldn't be conducted. I have invested in projects  before where  I lost all my investments but this motivated me to learn technical analysis and today I am better

240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: March 10, 2019, 06:02:01 AM
My friend lost his wallet from the Android mobile wallet application, there was nothing suspicious before but now he lost all his balance, suggested making a wallet on the MEW website then saving it to the locked file
It's really hard to believe that it could happen, maybe he used an unreliable wallet or his phone was used by someone
