221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont waste your money on gambling websites except this on: January 16, 2018, 02:15:55 PM
Not a very good method of advertisement. Very poor choice of words.

You just reduced the legitimacy of the website in my perspective. Although you managed to get a click from me, pretty bad website UI and design though. Not a fan of those bright eye pinching colors.

Also, whats there to boast about provably fair games? Only a very stupid gambling organization would make unfair games and loose it's players.

222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best crypto lotteries? on: January 16, 2018, 01:27:45 PM
I think freebitco.in isn't even worth trying. I don't think I am so lucky to win against so many bots, poor security and anti bot system. Trueflip is the most reputed online lottery I know of.

Trueflip's token has potential, could gain a lot of value with time.
Personally, I don't like online lotteries and lotteries in general but if I had to try, I would go to trueflip.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: January 15, 2018, 04:02:35 PM
Even how small amount you want to invest your money as long as you are sure you can get profit to it still it's make sense .Not all big company start in big investment they also started in the low amount of money and then when they get profit they sum all the money and invest it again.

Everyone starts from small unless born rich. So life starts form small and its upto you how much large one can make it from small. So everything and whatever you have is more than valuable because if properly used that small things could turn gold if made right investment in this cypto currency.

Indeed but think about how the time you spend there? Is it really worth to give a shot?
If so then go ahead , you need to be completely patient to take piece by piece  the profit and sometimes you have to lost it.
Better to coumpound the money you have until it become enough called as a real capital to get started.

It's not only about spending time, its about gaining experience and never giving up.

You learn, improvise and get better and more careful for every little investment. You learn to deal with failures and feel pride in gaining money.
It's the practice arena to prepare for the big investment games. Unless he's super lucky/found an obvious solution, an investor would always need experience.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 70k end of 2018. on: January 15, 2018, 03:51:38 PM
At the end of this month, 20k will come in. The price of Bitcoin will certainly be a fast growth this year. Bitcoin price will definitely reach 40k. But getting 70k is a little bit harder.

There's no chance of 70k $ this year. It's possible around 20-25k $. The end of last year and the decline in prices gave people a little bit to think about. The price isn't growing so fast and people are hold bitcoin counting for growth.

"There's no chance"

There is always a chance, i've read and laughed upon various such claims throughout my time on this forums. "No way bitcoin can cross $2/3/5/10k in 2017". How can you lack imagination? ignore possibilities? I agree $70k is too high of a mark but its never impossible.

I guess you were just presenting your ideas on this, maybe this is what you believe and you aren't open to more possibilities.
I personally think bitcoin will cross $30k this year, because of VARIOUS reasons.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: January 15, 2018, 03:43:05 PM
Cryptos are already being used to escape taxes, launder and distribute black money.
Such an anonymous network, if widely adopted would only make transfering corruption money easier.
As long as a method of payment exists, corruption would exist. It's about monitoring the payer, payee and transcation itself.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: January 15, 2018, 03:26:03 PM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
Frankly, if someone gives me 1 bitcoin, I'll be very happy. I have certain goals in life for which I need cash. I immediately sold bitcoin and realized my dream. Until the end of my goal, one bitcoin is missing. Smiley
Here in our country it is a big amount of money already when we convert it from our country so for me I would be happy to received it, and will cash out it right away, since that is big money I will use it for opening a business as I wanted to have my own business just like internet cafe.

It's a big amount of money in any country, it depends on your lifestyle and living standards, not the country.
Broadly speaking, some countries might have a trend of higher lifestyle so $14k may not seem that big of a money in comparison to others around.

If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
I’ll do the same to someone else if I make it big someday.

I appreciate your generosity and philanthropy over such a vague and hypothetical situation.
Made me smile
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: January 15, 2018, 03:09:32 PM
I think the thrill and excitement is the reason why I keep on coming back in gambling,
Sometimes it is just because of it but there are times that I am playing to win some money too.
Thrill and excitement? I don't think so, the main thing is that everyone just wanted to recover his losses and that's it. And if you think that's your reason, I wouldn't believe on it. Gambling is a game of money and we all want and need money and others are loving it. I keep on coming back when I haven't reached my limit or I want some more, simple as that.
There's thrill in awaiting a roll, looking up cards then there's excitement after winnings. Recovering losses, playing on the brim, YOLO moments are all part of the thrill that's addicting. It's a combined effect of such various factors that keep players addicted to gambling.
It's fun.
After quite a while and experience, you no more care about losses, you just look upto future, start anew with every roll/game. It's no more about recovering losses, its about leisure now.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to advertise gambling site on: January 15, 2018, 03:04:29 PM
Be careful with advertisement, wrong kind of audience taping can lead to bad reputation of your website. Don't advertise on cheap hostings and website (at least not on porn websites and such stuff in general).

This forums is one of the best places to target crypto gamblers. Other than this, twitter and facebook is a good place to advertise because most of the big gamblers are middle aged people who commonly use these two platforms.
Also, hire writers, make blog posts, publish articles, its a very good way to make your website gain reputation and popularity
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: January 14, 2018, 10:13:51 PM
gambling always be recognized as bad habit and only several people can accept their couple is gamblers but i personally never hearing in in my neighborhood there are some people who being gamblers couples but in my opinion as long as they can enjoyed every part of their activities and life normal i think that's no problem moreover if the husbands and their wife are lucky each other then they can double their winning
Definitely right. What is wrong if couples do gamble as long as there are limitations in time and in money or bitcoin. That is their way to bond because they enjoyed each moment. What is wrong is if a person was just forced her/his partner to join or to accompany him/her. Even me and my friends played poker in our house sometimes together with my husband.
idk why some people shun away games like poker by calling it unethical gambling, they seem to fail to realize its just a game, its not always about gambling money, sometimes its just about spending some good time with friends and family.
Gambling isn't always recognized as a bad habit, its just that mostly the outcome of gambling money is not good, people get easily addicted and end up loosing their whole life at stupid stakes. So people made gambling a "taboo" to prevent this from happening. As far as you know what you're doing, its not as bad as they portray it.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: January 13, 2018, 07:40:40 PM
Stupid question I fucking swear. How did they become a millionaire? Think, you fucking idiot, think. They believed in Bitcoin in the first place and they didn't mind investing their money in it. And now that they have benefitted, you are asking if they deserve it? Idiot. Think before you ask a question which is so stupid.
Lock this thread before huge list of shit posters start spamming here.
Not talking about millionaires but some super rich users just randomly got/bought a lot of bitcoins and forgot about it until few years and sold it to become rich. They never invested into bitcoin, they just got lucky, saw their 200 bitcoins worth $200 become $100k, some exit sold them there, others (a little intelligent ones) saved them and became richer, rest (most intelligent) are still holding.
Even after this i think they do deserve their wealth, at least better than all of middle-east oil millionaires.

Lock this thread before huge list of shit posters start spamming here.
Also, Please have a mind open to a little more discussions and possibilities, don't be so quick tempered. Your reply makes less sense/ makes random assumptions so i find it more stupid than the question itself.

231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people keep trying new casinos? on: January 13, 2018, 07:30:10 PM
One of the reason might be because some new casinos are giving out huge bonuses promotions during their launch and to attract gamblers to play on their site, and some gamblers might want to try their luck with the new casino site and they deposit in order to get the bonus credit to their accounts.
Few of such casinos giving out too-good-to-be-real offers and promotions on launch are scams and run away with money. Also, they neither are they provably fair  + there are stupid bugs that make their games unplayable + shit customer care. Won't name it, but i've had such issues with few small casinos before. Like this one time, few years ago i deposited my bitcoins to a new website and they never showed up, took them around a week to fix this problem. Shit customer service.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: January 13, 2018, 07:22:40 PM
I was gambling my BTCs on PD a while ago
although i've been using ETH to gamble regularly. I stay away from doge, you sound like a doge-fanboy, no offence. I would rather exchange and gamble with other alts.
I lost all my LTCs a while ago so i ain't gambling with them either. I have a little ether right now, guess what am i gambling next?

ETH network sucks rightnow, high fees again here too, as if bitcoin wasn't enough.  i hate paying high fees on my little (if) profit.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: January 13, 2018, 07:18:08 PM
The very first thing happen with the every gambler including me is started with the reason to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness and grief or lose all of it in every moment when you try for gambling. Most of the people come out of the habit of gambling which the started. But few people addict of gambling.
While winning can make you feel better during hard times, losses can depress you further.
It's a gamble to gamble during depression and hard times. I would rather not take this gamble and do something safer to drive away my agony/mental pain.
As for boredom, as far as you're gambling what you're ready to loose, you will always drive away boredom, its a great way to deal with it if you are into gambling. I still find myself betting faucets/ playing poker with game money just to pass some time.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: January 13, 2018, 09:49:40 AM

yeah right. there were also games that mainly depends on luck and wont require any skills or experience like for example bingo , hi lo , dice games ,etc. but also there were also games that needs a skill or experience in order for you to win the game like for example card games (e.g poker ) or sports games , etc. but overall gambling is still a gambling and luck is still required in order for you to own the game.

Sometimes skill is needed but dont forget that is not going to make us win. We will win with luck and that is all we need to have. In poker games for example , we can win without being lucky as long as we have some skill but when we are faced with a lucky person then it is obvious that we are going to lose the game
Skills and experience don't teach you how to beat luck, it teaches you to know "when to give up" and not feel regret for "ifs" and not make stupid impulsive decisions.
Its more of a philosophic learning rather than skill development, you learn to accept things and bear losses.
Talking about games like poker, i agree with what you said, you can be as skillful as possible, play as good of a bluff as possible and still end up loosing to a lucky player, bottom of the line, it again comes down to luck.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 13, 2018, 09:43:53 AM
Go guys!
In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?
Let others know!
I am so shameful for my self when i go to casino and lose because my money is not from my own hardwork.the money i use for gamble is from my mother whose in abroad.so everytime i lose i feel so ashamed.I always hide to go because of our neighbors i dont want them to know that i am a gambler because they tell to my mother. But now i stop gambling i realize my mother sacrifices for us.

if not for gambling what do you use that money for? I am assuming it was your surplus money because you could afford gambling it, if not then you are greatly at fault here.
Now what do you do with you surplus money? Drink? Party? Spend on trips? All these are leisure activities, if you take gambling as one of these activities you have nothing to be ashamed of.
You have surplus money, you have time, you want to enjoy yourself you go and gamble! Thats how i feel about it.
I am not persuading you to gamble more not am i justifying gambling to make you do it again, i am just trying to show you another angle to look at the activity of gambling.

239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bit coin hit 25000 USD on: January 09, 2018, 08:02:51 PM
The mass bitcoin adoption is just beginning. Finally we see advertisements directed towards a wider audience to invest into bitcoin, articles and media coverage enlightening people about cryptos.
Bitcoin will gain a lot of investors, many won't even understand the concept but still invest because of the history of bitcoin/others's shallow advice.
We just need more services accepting bitcoins, more day-to-day use of it and we are good to cross $25k easily.
Recently with the Chinese backing out, i don't have much to say with confidence to speculate bitcoin's future.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: January 09, 2018, 07:57:36 PM
I think that governments are afraid of Bitcoin. The main reason for this is the lack of centralized control over the processes. Governments are used to controlling fiat currencies, that`s why they don`t know, what to do with Bitcoin. Most governments have a choice: to legalize or ban Bitcoin. This decision determines the further influence of Bitcoin on the state.
governments would have no choice but to completely legalize Bitcoin in the future. Just my thoughts  Grin

If a government truly wants an independent growth of economy, true welfare of the society (which it ideally should) then they should have no problem in accepting decentralized economic models like bitcoins. As of now, the people on power are used to holding their power to keep the rest of the population in check.
A liberal and open-minded rule would accept decentralization but a greedy and power hungry organizations would never.
Even if bitcoin gets banned, it would never die out, freedom and anonymity never dies.
