221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it appropriate to invest in bitcoins from now on? on: December 19, 2017, 05:27:54 AM
I started to pay close attention to BTC 3 weeks ago and its price was about $7000. And up to now its price was $12500, reaching it's peak. Is it appropriate to invest in bitcoins from now on? Smiley
Its my nth time to read this kind of thread and im sure that you have found all the answers you need. Since profitability is good when it comes to bitcoin, on a personal note, yes it is not too late to invest on it.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: December 19, 2017, 05:18:09 AM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Bitcoin is indeed susceptible to corruption. With its current expensive price coupled with greedy people then we cannot do away with corruption.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: December 19, 2017, 04:53:06 AM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .
It is a good investment because profitability is good and nobody in this forum would say otherwise. But be advised to better start small and grow big later on.

Every single person of the Earth is running continuously and working hard  only to get some happiness and be in peace.
To get some happiness and be in peace we r doing every single work but forget the root....
We know that we have a creator.and he gives us the holy books. AL KURAN is the last books of them.
if u read the translation of Al Kuran and all the religions book that u have trust on them just  read it on your own language..and obey that... properly you will be the happiest..
I refer all of U to read the AL KURAN.100% if u read that with a free mind, u will meet with happiness and get pleasure..
Assalamualaikum(peace be upon u)
I will not agree nor will i disagree with your way of peace. I live a normal life and make sure that i dont step or hurt anybody during the process. I am a law abiding citizen and pay my dues and it is my simple thinking that i am already at peace with the world and i dont complicate things.
226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: December 18, 2017, 05:38:23 AM
Most of us have a daily responsibilities.
How do you manage your time in trading and in bounty campaign as well as researching for the news and updates of your favorite altcoin?
Good thing we experience the benefits of modern technology at present. We can perform a couple of tasks at the same time using our smart phones. We can monitor market at the palm of our hands while performing other jobs therefore the burden of managing time for different activities is lessened.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a trader on: December 18, 2017, 05:15:44 AM
Becoming a trader isn't hard, just you're going the right or the wrong way will decide your profits.
Wow, sounds like taking a candy from a baby but alas, it doesnt work that way. It takes time to be a good trader. One must know the basic of trading to become adept in it and it really requires time.
228  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: December 16, 2017, 07:08:57 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Well maybe because some people reckoned gambling to investment. Both have risks to be undertaken, when you gamble and bet there is a chance that you will lose and so as investing, you may gain (win) or you may incur a loss. Luck  and skill is needed in gambling and so as with investments.
229  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe that the love of money is the root of all evil? on: December 16, 2017, 04:00:54 AM
Do you believe that the love of money is the root of all evil?

Money was designed by GOD himself and those who love it more than HIM, their family and good relationships defiled it's very purpose. Because the purpose of MONEY is to provide for our needs, to strengthen relationship and to enjoy our living.
Well i personally think not. Money is but a tool for evil acts and doings. When it comes to money being a tool i believe that the root cause is greediness.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: December 15, 2017, 04:35:29 AM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p
Nobody holds the future of bitcoin and other cryptos, it constantly fluctuating and 5-10 investment time is way too long. Better to deal with cryptos on a day to day basis so that you can monitor when to hold and when to pull out.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins for illegal activity on: December 14, 2017, 04:23:53 AM
From recent news in India it is heard that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..I know its a currency and it is also used as a normal money... but these can create a bad space in people's mind that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..so they will not use bitcoins... Conclusion is that BTC is also a currency which is having a high value in the market..and bitcoins must not be used in these illegal activity which can reduce its usage and value.
Any currency can be used for illegal activities and yes bitcoin is no exception. Not just as a means to buy drugs, there are also talks that it is being used to finance terrorists and payments for firearms and ammos.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: December 14, 2017, 04:10:32 AM
Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

Definitely yes. Social media can be used to advertise anything and everything and that includes bitcoins and at the same time it can also be a tool for its downfall.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: December 14, 2017, 03:53:22 AM
We are now experiencing the efficient, fast and amazing convergence of technologies which one way or the other greatly contributing to the rise of the cryptocurrencies and making Bitcoin as the King of the Hill so far.

Looking into the future...what do you think will be the scenario involving Bitcoin twenty years from now? Will Bitcoin be worth more than a million or will it ceased to exist? Or will a new crytocurrency replace the supremacy of Bitcoin...?
20 years is long way ahead of us and nobody really knows what would happen with bitcoin or any other cryptos after 20 years. Prices of bitcoin fluctuates every now and then so it is better if we deal with bitcoins on a day to day basis.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: December 12, 2017, 05:13:22 AM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
I would cash it all out. Make shopping spree, buy my wife with an expensive set of jewelries, signature bags and shoes, treat her to a cozy restaurant and spend the night on a 5 star hotel. The next morning i will wake up with a big smile on my face realizing that this is only but a DREAM.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: December 12, 2017, 05:04:49 AM
What is the future of cryptocurrencies when all the government need to do is to close the bank accounts of businesses or exchange?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-businesses-face-bank-account-closures-in-singapore/
I really dont get it. Why would government close the bank accounts of businesses? Eliminating banks is like eliminating fiat money. Bitcoins can not eliminate fiat money.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 12, 2017, 04:53:44 AM
Hi guys! Can you share some tried and tested tricks on making the most out of your buck and also some tips on how to save money more effectively. This will be a heck of a help to our fellow users here. Thank you so much.
I also put aside 20% of my daily jobs earning as saving. And then the what's left is I budget it. It has works wonder for me up to today. I'm glad that I'd listen to my parents early on regarding saving. You might try it if so see if it's fits you. Others do to the opposite, they do the budget first and the rest put into saving. I guess you have to try and experiment it yourself. And always ask yourself if you really need or just want it before spending your precious money.

I never spend more than 50% of my salary. I give 10% of my salary to the church, and I eat everyday by cooking myself (I mean, I still live with my mom, hahaha). I never buy food outside, I just buy a small snack just on weekends. I was deliberately not spend money to hang out or eat in restaurants, I also do not have a boyfriend. I was determined to save and invest for my future. I'm determined to buy a house and make my family happy, that's when I'll start thinking about hanging out and having fun. Or get a girldfriend.
Got confused. You dont have a boyfriend and thinking of having a girlfriend,?? which is which??. If you are from the Philippines then im guessing that you are a member of INC. Anyways i envy how you discipline yourself, spending 45% only of your salary is a difficult thing to do.
237  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: December 11, 2017, 04:24:21 AM
Hi everyone,

What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ?
If you have the means (financially) to go to college or if you have the ability (become a scholar) to go to college even if you dont have the means then go for it. Opportunities are greater if you have a degree in college.
238  Other / Politics & Society / Re: To travel is to live on: December 11, 2017, 04:17:52 AM
"Travelling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a story teller" a famous quote.
the world is book and those who do not travel read only one page. What you people think about traveling is worthy for life or not?
i am in love with travelling because in the end we only regret the chances we didn't take.
Now i get it. This is the reason why my neighbor isnt getting any older. He is a pilot of a passenger plane. He travels a lot and he lives longer.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: December 11, 2017, 04:03:08 AM
Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket, restaurants and some institutions. But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket, restaurants and some institutions. But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
Well if youre argument is in the basis of both as a means of payment then gold is no better than bitcoin. I mean it is not practical for an individual to carry out gold to pay for commodities and services would it? Though the popularity of bitcoin is growing it is not yet generally accepted by all. And a lot of people are more interested in the tangibles and not the intangibles.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 03:20:31 AM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

Click on the following link to go to the survey - https://uvacommscience.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3lzs2sI13cKH1m5?source=bitcointalk

If you are interested, I could post my main findings here.

Thank you.
I am into bitcoin but honestly, i am way over being an expert when it comes to bitcoin. So much to learn but bitcoin is the "cream of the crop" when it comes to cryptos thus where else should you be.
