Well this really is some top shelf news right here. Hopefully the Minecraft plugin will be out soon as well (maybe announced in the GDC conference?) to get enjin to be used on a daily basis. Then this token and project will really take off. Good going guys and keep up the great work!

We have a huge announcement!

Renowned AAA games producer Pat LaBine joined the Enjin Coin team as our new Head of Developer Technology — and we’re going to GDC, the largest game industry event in the world.

Not bad. It isn't one of the big ones but the more the merrier Smiley And with the Q4 report coming probably next week (my guess is that the buyback will be at least $650,000) it should be a good start to the year!

223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: January 18, 2018, 10:37:54 AM
I very much liked their answer as to the vision for how much AUM they think their funds will hold until the end of 2018. Billions Smiley That will mean millions in buybacks!

Add ICN utility to that and we will have a monster on our hands. Also 500+ new users joining daily without any marketing is very high in my opinion. Looking good here Smiley
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: January 09, 2018, 08:24:52 PM
Like I said in my previous post where I stated a few facts about MGO, this project is very much undervalued...

GameCredits Inc, the people building this, started in 2016. The company however was small and entirely self funded, around 10 people. It has grown since then, very rapidly after the crowdsale since we needed to onboard new people to help with development of new applications and projects.

No one is funding our education with regards to coding. We hired and had developers capable of building the necessary applications. However, these are applications that have never existed. It can take months to build applications that have existed in some shape or form (think building some type of exchange). But we're building in-game wagering mechanisms that allow users to transfer value using smart contracts (another new technology). Development is rarely a cut and dry process, even with the best developers in the world.

And the technologies that we had prior to funding were our store and payment processor. We were able to get an intimate partnership with Unity specifically because of the existing store technology (a partnership that took months to establish).

I must have gotten the wrong days or something with the store because I downloaded it post-ICO and every game downloaded had an error and shut down the store. I wasn't aware the store was running before the ICO and in fairness that's a pretty big deal. I thought it never worked until recently but I didn't follow the twitter over the summer and wouldn't have seen any posts about the store being down
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: January 09, 2018, 10:13:23 AM
They already announced an alternative card provider and they also have their own banking license in the works so everything should be back to normal in a month or two if you ask me Smiley

News yesterday is that Visa will be blocking cards like Tenx because they are not actually connected and no deals signed. It will also file a case against the cards supplier.

Ducktales unless you show proof.  Other cards aren't being shut down, via Visa Europe in the following link: https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/01/05/spending-bitcoin-with-a-debit-card-just-got-a-lot-harder/

"We can confirm that WaveCrest’s Visa membership is being terminated due to continued non-compliance with our operating rules. All of WaveCrest’s Visa card programmes will be closed as a result.

Visa has other approved card programmes that use fiat funds converted from cryptocurrency in a number of jurisdictions. The termination of WaveCrest’s Visa membership does not affect these other products.

Visa is committed to the security of its ecosystem and compliance with Visa’s operating rules is critical for ensuring the safety and integrity of the Visa payment system. Our issuers’ card programmes must comply with our membership regulations, as well as all applicable laws."

this is the case indeed.
i assume there are plans underway to find an alternative supplier/partner?
and i assume cards will have to be re-issued?

this is a massive blow to the project. I ordered my card in November but
still have not got it and im in Europe.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: January 05, 2018, 07:50:53 PM
The marketcap of MGO is about $130M at the moment. They have about $250M in assets at their disposal to develop great stuff. The mobile store is up and running, they are partners with Unity, they are sponsors of esports teams and much more. No hopium here, everything that I stated are facts.

When they start rolling out their wagering app and the other stuff they have in the pipeline this will grow. If you don't believe that it is your right and there are many other projects out there...

Very nice price rise these days. Have I missed any news or is the market finally starting to see how undervalued MGO is? Smiley

How is it undervalued? The value is inherent and the price is supposed to be reflective of that. If anything I think it's over valued because people get all swoony over 1 or 2 projects and start huffing hopium.... believe me, I've spent years in hopium dens which is why I'm finally making good, consistent choices in what to buy into.

I must be stupid or it's just last years androids but I can't get any games to even work when I tried downloading them from the gamecredits store. If I'm not alone and this is a common problem, then how in the hell can anyone say these things are undervalued? Despite what the hippies (and my mom) like to believe, just hoping and believing ISNT enough. There has to be a logical criticism there, and it's when that logic overcomes common sentiment that you can say, "You know what? Everyone is crazy this thing is WAY undervalued" but you HAVE to think logically....keyword...

If they don't have real working products for GameCredits (not sure if they do or dont, strictly devil's advocate) OR MobileGo then there is literally no reason you can say the product (if you can call the assets products) is undervalued.

Rampant speculation and an overwhelming supply of hopium is crushing this market right now and it seems every noob who made 5k in 2017 on crypto forgot about the countless massive bubbles throughout history, including many in crypto already.

I wasn't even old enough but I'm starting to feel like this HAS to be what the dotcom bubbles were like.... Tons of people going "This niche is TOTALLY undervalued" then put 10k into some internet security firm that 20 years later is only privately traded and worthless anyway.

I get the Gnation (or w/e it's calleD) emails but havn't really seen anything about actual progress with MGO where you can use it in games already, but as I said I could be completely wrong, it's happened before. If though, I'm not wrong and they have no working product, then this is just another of the 'promises' projects and now a days I like to stay in the 'actions' projects...you can tell relatively quickly which are which (at least a good guess of course) and act appropriately. When I see people shilling really hard, and then how others who like the project react, that tells a lot. And this is one of those where everyone is blowing hopium smoke up each other's asses instead of just demanding real progress and less talk

The priority is building out the product and that is exactly what they are doing. So stop crying about new exchanges. They will come sooner or later. If you can't wait then sell and move on.

lol, whats up with all the FUD here now? Usually it is a sign that some people just want a cheap entry point before the project takes off big time.

The demo is good, Jure Soklič is Slovenian and not Armenian. As for a new exchange, check the whitepaper, the next one is already in the works Smiley

This looks very nice. I do have a question. Will we be also able to invest into the platform for liquidity? Will they accept crypto if the answer is yes?

235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: December 15, 2017, 10:36:13 AM
Those limits were always there for KYC tier 1... You need to do KYC to get higher limits.

Well, now TenX went from being the best to being among the worst within a matter of minutes for me. Anyone knows what the deal is behind those changes? Dont quite get why they have to set such low lifetime limits, as I write before, with those limits its not even worth ordering a card. Just my two cents.
These limits have nothing to do with TenX. These are the limits from their Card Issuer. And the card issuer has to implement the limits based on anti money laundering regulation and all the KYC regulation that is in place. Just upgrade to KYC2 and you have much higher limits. The KYC upgrade to tier 2 took 1 day for me, so no big deal.
If you don't want that TenX has some more information about you, you have to search for another way to cash out your cryptos. But I think all exchanges that convert to fiat have KYC limits. I also don't see such a big problem to upgrade to tier 2 as they don't need that much information and it doesn't take much time... If you wan't to cash out totally anonymously it's difficult anyway and will bring up a lot of questions anyway...

Actually I was about to do the KYC with TenX anyways. However I wanted also one card without KYC, just in case it could come in handy at one point. I researched other crypto cards but they all got those low limits that its not worth buying their cards without KYC, thats why I asked here too, to get to know how TenX handles this. If I would want to cash out my crypto anonymously I certainly wouldnt do it with a card. There are other ways if one wants to do that, cards always leave traces, as you have to let them ship somewhere etc. I guess I will just stick with my TenX card and dont buy another one, its not worth it with those limits.

I also have a Wavecrest prepaid card. Contact support, you might be doing something wrong...

No idea where you tried to use your card but I haven't had one rejection so far and have been using it for the last few months in 4 different countries around Europe. It worked perfectly everytime Smiley

Well, my first experience with the card is that regular shops do not accept the card. It is declined when trying to pay.
[...]

Perhaps you have a different card? I think I have one of the fresh batch of Wavecrest cards (not the cards that were issued initially). Wavecrest is VISA Prepay I understand.

Well, my first experience with the card is that regular shops do not accept the card. It is declined when trying to pay.

I tried 2 shops the other day and was unable to pay.
I tried another shop today and again the card was declined.

I then tried to take some cash from the ATM and that worked. So the card functions.

I cannot think of something else than that this type of Wavecrest (VISA) pre-paid card is not accepted by the regular payment system used by shops in my country of residence. So I do not expect it to be accepted in shops anywhere and presumably only at ATMs. This diminishes the practical use of the card. Hopefully, new cards come out soon without this issue or shops start to accept this type of card as well.
