221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: France to launch their own cryptocurrency on: December 11, 2019, 09:55:40 AM
well, it seems like France will also launch their own cryptocurrency next year. it's funny that just year ago they despise cryptocurrency(article about it) and now they are launching their own cryptocurrency
and even teaching high school students about cryptocurrency(article about it) and preparing them for it. how things have changed in just a year Cheesy Cheesy

Venezuela launched their own cryptocurrency call Petro time ago and i heard that many big countries are planning to do the same. The governments are more open with cryptocurrencies now and i think this is a good signal.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you Want from a secure wallet? on: December 11, 2019, 07:11:26 AM
Hello guys from my last post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5208509.msg53310640#msg53310640

i real all of your advices and i really thank you for them

i want to do a simple startup based on donation ! with doing a good job and people donate me for that .

i want to create an open source bitcoin wallet with django framework that doesn't store any private key or phrase seed

also with onion + simple domain + generating segwit address

but for other abilities what should it have ?

i know there is a lot of bitcoin wallet sites and they are popular
is it waste of time ?
if it isn't what you want from a good wallet ?
tell me i will make that for you with open source on github

I want to control my private keys, 2 fa authentication, fee would be adjusted for each transaction. But almost all wallet now support it, i think it would be very hard for a new wallet.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: December 11, 2019, 06:29:20 AM
Back in the days i used to disregard some pennies of my bitcoins in several exchanges thinking that these coins would never be worth it looking at its price at the moment. However, this idea came into my mind about some few weeks ago that what if Bitcoin reaches a double of its previous all time or even greater once this long awaited global adoption sets in.

Seriously this made me think twice and have made me roam through all my exchange accounts and wallets making sure that i have access to them in order to cash out all those pieces of bitcoin if they ever become worth it again. This may sound quite silly but i am quite optimistic about it Grin
This makes me remember when Bitcoin first reached 16000$, i used to use many wallet (coinbase, cryptopay, ...) so i logged in to all wallets that i could remember and collected about more than 0.009 BTC Cheesy

You can find some IT jobs in Marketplace\Services, but if you prefer startup, i think you should have a look at Micro Earning Board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=212.0) where you can see how faucet sites work and make your own faucet or similar sites
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto earnings on: December 10, 2019, 09:02:48 AM
guys how to get around local tax laws and convert crypto earnings into legal fiat?
It depends on your country, many countries like China do not allow people to exchange Cryptocurrencies to Fiat money so you will need to convert them into others like paypal or perfectmoney.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: please help me about bitcoin atm! SCAM or No on: December 10, 2019, 08:20:24 AM
hi guys
one of my friends want to send me 30000$ bitcoin from america california with easybit bitcoin atm
but he  says you should send 700$ to atm bitcoin wallet to confirm transaction!
is there anything like this in usa ?
also he says i send money to atm and it is pending for your 700$ verification from your distance wallet
he says just in usa atm machins needs this verification
is he lier or not ?

I think this is a scam because you don't need to send some Bitcoin to make the transaction confirmed, only the miner fee is necessary. You should ask your friend to send Bitcoin with a regular wallet like Blockchain.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning to trade on: December 09, 2019, 03:14:48 PM
I have been learning how to trade btc and altcoins by myself and having my experiences. I read online articles on trading signals and what to watch out for.  I've made some profits and lost a good deal.  Good thing I started with very little capital. Right now everything looks so negative especially as btc went so bearish.

I need advice on how to improve my trading because I really want to do this Angry
From my experience, you should start trading with small balance (<100$ is enough) then invent your own strategy and practice with it. You should read more tutorial about the market signal or expert trader's instructions.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most complicated thing about Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2019, 01:28:55 PM
When someone starts using Bitcoin, the first thing he/she comes up with is a nice user interface (depending on the wallet used) that allows him/her to send/receive Bitcoin easily. With a little technical knowledge, the user won't need to worry about other Bitcoin features as long as he/she is able to send/receive coins in a P2P manner.

Still, there are other things that would be of benefit to the user if he/she knew about them. Batching transactions allows one to save off fees, while sending Bitcoin to a new address every time increases privacy. Most wallets don't have a straight-forward interface for the user to do this easily (as far as I know), which involves some technical knowledge to get the most out of Bitcoin.

Among the many features provided by the Bitcoin blockchain, I'm starting to wonder which one is the most complicated? In my case, I believe that it's complicated to perform offline transactions using Bitcoin core as you'd need to know certain commands (like sendrawtransaction) in order to perform said task. There are other commands that are used for creating a multi-sig address and performing batch transactions that are not easy to learn for the average user.

What's your opinion? Huh
I think the most complicated thing about Bitcoin is the fee. They said that it is the reward for miners to confirm the transaction but it is really hard to understand how the miner confirm the transactions.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust bitcoin related services? on: December 09, 2019, 05:50:43 AM
Hi,

I have some questions where I have been thinking about the past week.
Why do you trust some website/company with your bitcoins?

Let's say a bitcoin casino, what makes you deposit bitcoin?
Is it the provably fair? Does it mean you trust a site when the game is fair?
Is it the looks of the site? The amount of users there are? If there is an open chat where you can see active users?

Or something else that doesn't have a game that's fair, for example a bitcoin exchange, how do you trust them?

Overall: What makes you trust bitcoin related services?

EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT

Another question: What does a new service need to earn your trust?
I often check their alexa ranks before making a deposit because good alexa rank means the website is popular and has many active users.
Reading reviews on the Internet is a good solution too.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be thankful than hate him on: December 09, 2019, 05:28:59 AM
Hi,
Beautiful people

This post is dedicated to all the haters of Bitcoin in this forum. I have been asking my self what did Bitcoin and the creator of Bitcoin do wrong with them?

The one who invented never came out with his name or asked us to popularize him. He became famous because he did invent something that was meant to help us.

We are innovating, we are creating brilliant product but, it does not mean we degrade the one which started it all.

Why anyone would like to question Bitcoin?

What makes you think it is inferior to what you have invented?

Remember, it is Bitcoin that started the revolution and it is Bitcoin that will change the life for the needy.

I have been asking myself what did the inventor do wrong to be conned and claimed as they never were able to prove it? Cheap stunt!!

Mr Nakamoto(it would be nice that everyone give him/her that respect) invented something, which has changed our live, we should appreciate and love his creation, rather asking everyday who he was? where can we find him? and so on.

I am not a judge here, I am that individual who was no one until this guy invented a product and made me who I am!

Thanks.

Respect Bitcoin and Respect the creator!!!

We never would have been here, If Bitcoin creator NEVER thought about us.
Many of my friends hate Bitcoin because they think that it is scam/ ponzi. They don't know how Bitcoin works and say that why it is valuable. Then they hate the Bitcoin founder too.
231  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Expresscrypto] PTCL Faucet Script (Paid To Click Shortlinks) on: December 08, 2019, 04:51:08 PM
Hi tungaqhd, I am using v1.5 and there i found a bug when clicking on one shortener and returning to faucet links list without completing it, you are not able to complete another one because the site will redirect you to the previous uncompleted.
Hi, that is not a bug, many people complain the script spams shortener with many unused links and the script is banned from many short link sites. So i made this with an alert "Complete the link that you clicked before to be able to click the next link!"

Ok I understand, but at least that problem was not my case and I am thinking what happens if for one x reason the user is stuck with one shortener (has happened to me), he couldn´t try with another because of this restriction. I think you could make this feature optional in the admin panel.
Thank you for your suggestion,
Currently user can click other links again in 5-10 minutes when the old link expired but i will make it optional in next update. You can temprory disable it in controllers/Faucet.php , delete lines 99 - 103.

234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2019, 05:39:05 PM
In one year, most of Bitcoin's rally usually occurred within a few days. Therefore, the "Hold Bitcoin" strategy is still considered the best, according to Binance Research.

In fact, in one year, the pump for Bitcoin only happened in a few short days, and most of the rest was sideway. Therefore, it is easy for investors to miss the pump if they are not regularly watching the market.

According to the recently published data, since 2013, the annual growth performance of Bitcoin only occurred in about 10 days, which means that each year we will have 10 days that Bitcoin actually increases aka "pump". After this 10 days, Bitcoin will go sideway and the growth performance may decrease by 25%.

Therefore, the actual pump of Bitcoin is very short, it is only a blink of an eye compared to the rest (sideway or decline).

However, there are also many ideas that "not every Hold is the best". If a person held bitcoin before December 2017 until now, they would still lose more than 50%.

If you are an investor who does not have much time to observe the market, nor know the analysis of charts, then the Hold option is the best for you.

And for investors who like to "trade", certainly Hold is not their choice, because the short-term waves are the time when they make the best profit.

How about you? Are you holding Bitcoin
I have been holding Bitcoin for more than 2 years and I earned so much from Bitcoin. Even now, I am still buying Bitcoin when the price drops because i think it is very good for long terms.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 07, 2019, 07:56:41 AM

I had an old bike and i was purchasing almost two years ago, but one week i have sold my bike and i purchased some bitcoin.
Especially I want holding long time with more patient because i want makes more profitable.
So what do you think ? My decision is worng or right? The upcoming year 2020 give me good profits ??

Notes: basically i am not more expert trading then i keep decision holding is my best way for making more profitable.
Welcome to share your mind.

I think that you made a right decision, turning your unused bike into Bitcoin is better than left it at your corner. Ofcourse nobody know how will Bitcoin go, but you might get a car back after 1 or 2 years Cheesy

239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely store big amounts of BTC? on: December 01, 2019, 01:29:31 PM
Hello,

Suppose I would expand my BTC portfolio to 10 or 15 BTC.....how would you store such a big amount of coins?

Ofcourse I would use a hardware wallet, but if I store them all on 1 wallet and I lose the wallet, or the house gets on fire and it burns, then I have lost those coins forever? Or are there still ways to get to the coins somehow in that case?

Would you advise to store let's say 15 BTC on 3 different hardware wallets (5BTC each), or would you spread it out even more? Ofcourse I'm not gonna buy more than max. 3 hardware wallets but in that case maybe 15 different laptop wallets (Electrum, Jaxx, Exodus etc.) with 1BTC each on it is safer?

I'm looking for the safest way to store a big amount of BTC and to minimize the risks of losing a big amount.
Hardware wallets are great choices, popular wallets are Ledger Nano S and Trezor. You should not store on exchange or wallet that does not allow you to control private keys.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: December 01, 2019, 12:52:33 PM
Considering that the governments such as China have already tried to ban Cryptos. Would more governments do the same because Cryptos threaten the banks or the governments may want more control over what people use as currency and to remove all alternatives? What do you guys think, I personally think it won’t happen, but you might think otherwise.

The governments might not ban people holding Cryptocurrencies. However buying and selling via banks might be banned like what happened in China. But i think people can use 3-rd currency to pass this.
