2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: November 30, 2022, 12:50:55 PM
In that case, people should really be careful because once it becomes a trend, scammers will also take advantage by creating their own version of decentralized exchanges with lots of freebies so that they can gather as many victims as they want. It was a huge tragedy that happened on FTX I think it was the worse case after what happened on MtGox but we need to understand that things like this always happened in the crypto industry but it won't gonna be the cause of its total destruction rather it's a good experience so that we can learn from it in the future.
2202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 30, 2022, 11:39:39 AM
Days surely go fast and here we are a few days before a comeback fight for Casimero against Akaho this is not just a usual fight because boxing fans are expecting to see how Casimero has trained himself and remained as strong as he was before. Well! we will gonna see if he still has the ability and strength to face other strong boxers like Inoue and if he will have no problem defeating Akaho. If he cannot do the job well, then his dream to fight Inoue will never happen. He will remain on fitting some unknown boxers until he retired from boxing.
2203  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My gut is telling me that I am missing a part here on: November 30, 2022, 09:01:01 AM
I guess what you are missing is the experience of trading in some Decentralized exchanges there are lots to try out there and you can distinguish between these two once you already experience trading in Decentralized exchanges also you can try to see videos on youtube on how to trade in Forkdelta and see the difference. Without spending anything, I recommend just watching some videos such as this one and you will gonna be able to tell the differences.

2204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 30, 2022, 08:17:28 AM
Big 4th quarter by the Clippers, they beat the home team (Blazers) with their run in the 4th quarter, 36-17, what a run. Now, it seemed like the number 1 and 2 team before in the West which are the Jazz and Blazers are struggling, they can't maintain their ranking as they are losing some games, especially the Jazz who are in a losing streak.

It's really hard to maintain at the top especially when you don't have enough players to take responsibility because star players also can feel tired and they need to rest well especially after putting on some show to win more games than usual. It's just another bad day for the Blazers because they weren't strong enough to stop the counter of Clippers throughout the game and they lose but they still doing good because both Jazz and Blazers are still in the playoff tree.
2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful where you connect your wallet on: November 30, 2022, 07:35:08 AM
This has happened before in MyEther wallet, when this happened, it's more likely you don't have any remedy about it because whenever you try to send some ETH to get some of the tokens in your wallet, the ETH will automatically be sent to some unknown address and I believe that's what's happening to you but instead of ETH, yours is BNB. The tokens right there is just a decoy, they purposely leave it there for others to send some ETH or BNB to be able to get it but the wallet is already compromised and there is a bot that will gonna send the remaining BNB or ETH balance to the scammer's address.
2206  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will there ever be any safe centralised exchange ? on: November 30, 2022, 07:02:18 AM
Of course, people will still gonna be trust centralized exchanges but nowadays they are vigilant due to what happened with some of the biggest exchanges out there and everyone is considering having their own hard wallet when having huge amounts of cryptocurrencies or even not huge, just for safety and being private and have total control of your crypto assets. With these pasts scenarios, expect some major changes in the future, and to be safe, learn how to use a personal wallet that is totally safe for keeping BTC and other coins because "not your wallet, not your bitcoins".
2207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fury v Chisora 3 3rd of December on: November 30, 2022, 06:25:41 AM
I think this is just their way to keep Fury at his best before getting another chance to fight a real champion and since he is not gonna retire soon, it is obvious that he needs to keep fighting in order to keep himself busy and will not just let his body unattended or untrain for Boxing. The fight will not gonna be like his fast fights since he is not fighting a worthy opponent here but this is not bad for him to maintain his body and also he can call anyone he likes to fight next after the fight.
2208  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to get bitcoins for free? on: November 29, 2022, 11:27:41 AM
The days when you can acquire a decent amount of bitcoins by doing some simple task are already over, there are some tasks that pay you with BTC and any other altcoins but they are not worth it any more unless you are just a curious man who wanted to try everything in the crypto industry starting without spending anything from your pocket then it is still possible but it requires you some talents and skills to do so. Some online games like NFT games offer you a small number of tokens when playing their games but not BTC and you can look for legit faucets but I doubt that they still exist nowadays.
2209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 29, 2022, 10:58:20 AM
Tough loss again for the Lakers. Leads 17 points at one point of the game and blew it up because of the lack of defense outside the paint, when it's clearly the Pacers are red hot in the 3s. Bryant didn't have enough minutes while the Pacers are betting them with the rebounds. Last but not the least, the Lakers biggest problem this season is LeBron and Ham.
LeBron tends to die down his teammate's momentum, when he's holding the ball his teammates will stop moving, and then they will forced to a low percentage shot.

Sure this loss is not really good for the Lakers because they were way up ahead by double digits but that's just how it goes. They badly needed that win to further push their rank forward to be able to get close in the playoff tree but this is not the last chance and they have plenty of time to work for securing the win next time when they are gone ahead like this one. I hope they were able to learn their miscalculations today so that they won't make the same mistakes again and the rumors right now are good for them because it's saying that,

2210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: November 29, 2022, 09:35:33 AM

We can't expect Ethereum to strike high when the market is still in a bearish situation. There are also lots of events and occurrences that affect the price of Ethereum. Even the global economy is in a bad state so Ethereum alone can't rise and recover. We all know that most altcoins rely on Bitcoin which is also currently at its bearish price. I think it will still take time before Ethereum could recover.

The market is not really looking good and it's obvious that all of the cryptocurrencies in the crypto market are not gaining high despite being all-updated and developed, unlike others. The good thing about it is they still alive and they are staying alive despite this never seen tragedy in the crypto market where people are losing their trust in Centralized Exchanges. Today we are in a good scenario when we see the other exchanges working well and doing their usual activities because of what happened, they are getting hard to acquire new customers, and also this is the same thing for the Ethereum investors as well.
2211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't a religion. on: November 29, 2022, 08:13:24 AM
People might talk about bitcoins a lot but I don't think they worship it and take it as their deity. it's just people are enthusiastic about its potential and they want everyone to know about it and decide on their own if they wish to invest in it or not. They also support it by the way of clearing it from the mainstream media and are obviously paid by the banks to spread false accusations regarding it. There's no extraordinary work here, it's just simply some good things that are being shared.
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 28, 2022, 12:56:50 PM

Only if Spence is not interested with the belt that might be the reason these fights won't happen, but if he still wants to be keep the belt, then he needs to fight Thurman. Otherwise, the belt will be stripped of him and be rewarded to Thurman. For me, it's a good fight that many fans are waiting to witness, a title matchup that will give entertainment to all the boxing fans who love seeing both known fighters sharing a same ring and throwing punches with each other.

This will be a good fight and it would be best if we see a close match-up between these two and take the fight up to 12 rounds of boxing I don't know how Spence will knockout Thurman because he seems to learn a lot since he fought Manny and he still has the speed and power. So it is still unpredictable though the odds will be with Spence the chance is still high for Thurman to win this fight. Both are famous and known to be knocking out their opponents but only one will emerge as a winner and with these guys, only a small chance of a draw, and most likely the fight will end in the official's decisions.
2213  Other / Off-topic / Re: lending money to people. on: November 28, 2022, 11:20:26 AM
I only lend them what they can afford to pay because lending them too much will be the same reason for you to stop talking to them and they will gonna hide from you. This is based on my personal experience and we lend without putting interest because it is forbidden for us but still, only a few people are considering to mind paying it back because others think it won't be necessary to pay because you are getting money from your job. I only lend to my friends but not all of them are trustworthy because most of them didn't pay back the money I lend to them. years and months have passed already.
2214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MetaMask Tracking IP Address on: November 28, 2022, 07:26:35 AM
This a huge problem for someone who was using this wallet for their personal gain in a negative manner but for those who were just using it for mere transactions without any reasons to hide, this is nothing and they will just ignore the updates and continue what they were doing. As for the users who are conservatives when it comes to their privacy, then they will gonna need to start to look for alternatives that are safe and not get this kinda bad updates because it will gonna be a pain in the ass once they track your real address from your IP address and you don't know what kind of people will visit you next time.
2215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 28, 2022, 06:25:28 AM

The next 10 games for the Lakers would be the challenge for them whether or not they have improved.
Most of them are above .500 teams and we all know this could be tough for the Lakers considering how bad they played early this season.

They're still in the top 13 in the western conference and they need more wins to catch up and to get a spot in the playoff tree because they cannot put themselves in the play-in tournament where they will gonna blame the association again for putting this pre-playoffs tournament before getting into real playoffs. These next 10 games are crucial for them and they need to show the same great play and determination to win in order to beat these teams or get more wins to improve their rank.
2216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hits 500 GB size hard disk data on: November 28, 2022, 05:49:43 AM
Ideally, put at least chainstate on SSD, and use 4096 MB dbcache. With those settings, any modern computer should be able to sync the blockchain within a day. Assuming your internet connection can handle it.
1TB is enough for many years to come.

This is the simplest answer because you can save money and it guarantees you to use it for a long time because in the future hard disks will become cheap and when you need more space, you can buy them later. This is expected since there will be more users in the upcoming days and transactions are mostly multiplied and Bitcoin Core's data will also expand. This is also a good thing because the more people will come, the more we are guaranteed to last longer because there will be more liquidation, and bitcoins as assets will be more recognized in the future.
2217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad beginning for crypto beginners. on: November 28, 2022, 05:15:21 AM

Bad beginning never end up in good result ,rather  it ends in regret, waste of fund. The problem why some beginners starts investment in a wrong way is because they are too busy and think knowledge is time consuming.

People mostly are lazy when it comes to educating themselves and they just rely on one source and that's it! they will gonna invest in the project of choice. That's why they often ended in a hype project where it is a pump and dump coins. Then they will gonna put the blame on all the people in the crypto industry while there is no one to blame but only themselves. First of all, investment with money needs to be taken seriously, and taking time to read and expand your knowledge to prevent yourself from losing your money is more valuable than rushing to invest in a random project by blindly following promoters who are getting the job they are currently doing. In short, invest time before investing money.
2218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 28, 2022, 04:40:59 AM

After watching yesterday's mat h I have serious doubts whether Germany will reach the semifinals. I expected the match to be more thrilling but it was an average one. As of now France and England are the favourite. Brazil will be playing against Switzerland today and I don't think Brazil would have any issue in wining the match.
[/quote]

The games have been more unpredictable since the first day and Brazil should not really think they are the upper hand this time rather they need to focus on winning and take their opponent seriously and play their game as usual. As expected, these teams who won the championship in the past will gonna face each other in the championship because of their experience and I think despite Argentina losing their first win, they still have a chance to catch up and compete in the semi-finals.
2219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX drama stressing people for no reason | How to stay neutral on: November 27, 2022, 12:57:53 PM
Most likely those people that are hostile to Bitcoin will use this opportunity to promote their propaganda and some of their baseless theories. investors should know to distinguish between biased news and legit one because nowadays you always find some news that is against the original plan of Satoshi Nakamoto and their dragging every malicious and scam accusation on Bitcoin. They won't hesitate as soon as they see an opening to criticize Bitcoin whether real or fake news. We as supporters need to clarify it first to our friends and others to prevent them from believing this fake news.
2220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 27, 2022, 12:14:09 PM
Looking at the poll, there is a user here who voted for Ryo Akaho? Who are you and why did you choose him? Nah, just joking! Grin

I'm just glad to see that there's someone here who is in favor to the Japanese boxer and not John Riel Casimero, surprising enough but it is a good thing though because this means that there is indeed a competition here. Though I'm just not sure if he can really make some difference here because I'm seeing this Ryo as a local boxer which is kinda different to Casimero's league who is fighting in the mainstream.

Of course, that's why we have some times kinds of unexpected events where we see an upset because the supposed boxer will dominate his opponent is taking a lot of damage and is mostly stunned by an underdog opponent. This is a sport and with enough practice and skill to adapt to how to counter his opponents throughout the rounds will gonna his ace to win the fight. Casimero should not underestimate his opponent because he hasn't been in the ring for a long time and he might be caught by a surprise.
