2201  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Central Bank Digital Currencies Kill Cryptocurrencies ? on: June 07, 2022, 09:19:29 AM
So that's the target of CBDCs? If it's the target and they're all eyes on bitcoin, they can't but if it's the other existing cryptos and altcoins, they can have at least a chance of eliminating a lot of them which mostly at par with stable coins.

Before, we've thought that bitcoin is going to replace fiat/cash but eventually we have accepted the fact that they'll just co-exist and we can live with both of them. As for the CBDCs, if this is just going to be a digital fiat then there's no need for them to think about eliminating bitcoin because they'll never be able to do that.
2202  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price suddenly dropped from $ 31K on: June 07, 2022, 07:47:48 AM
As of now, I have yet to find an answer regarding bitcoin's sudden drop in price.
I've seen someone said just a few hours ago that it's about the CME gap. I'm not sure if that's the actual reason.

The news that you've shared, I don't think that it's about it. It's just another investigation news that we mostly see from different tokens and projects.

But whether we find out the reason or not, this is the typical bitcoin that we know. Sometimes surprises us upwards and sometimes downward.
2203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will we see the destruction of ETH anytime soon? on: June 07, 2022, 06:14:17 AM
High gas fees, reduced popularity of DEFI, rapid decline of TVL on the chain, distrust of ETH2.0, criticism from miners, and restrictions on participants by the POS mechanism. Will the challenges of new technologies and new public chains cause ETH to decline rapidly?
In terms of price, likely.

But in terms of its own chain and what it has contributed to the whole crypto ecosystem, I don't think those things are enough to destroy it utterly. It took a lot of years until it has been built very well and until now, it's still 2nd on the rankings for the entire market.

Wait until the new news comes out for its 2.0 and people will be optimistic again, specifically those that have been looking at it as something that it doesn't worth it anymore.
2204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: June 06, 2022, 11:23:55 AM
Looking forward to tomorrow's division 1 games (mainly OG vs Secret). Also, today is the start of the lower division but i'm not confident to bet on any matches so i'll just observe the teams for now.
Nice, that's a debut for the first match for WEU. And there are slots for the Arlington major for this tour 3 of DPC.

4 slots for the WEU
3 slots for the EEU
4 slots for China
3 slots for the SEA
2 slots each for North and South America

Source: https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Main_Page

It is interesting also for the NA as they only have 2 slots for the Arlington major and only 4 teams from 8 that I know the roster. Well, guess would be EG and Huh.

The problem is if EG chokes on this one, they won't get a slot.
2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for June on: June 06, 2022, 08:51:29 AM
I'm still unsure if this is the dip. It could even go lower as the date approaches but if I'm planning to have ETH, I'll just DCA it and if I have money I'll buy.

And if drops some more, as I DCA, I'll have more again if it reaches another lower price. No matter what the decision will be, postponed or not, I'll still take this with my pocket together with bitcoin.
2206  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 06, 2022, 06:54:22 AM
Robert Kiyosaki is a writer and an advertiser, not an investor. He made his money selling a book, not by nailing bottoms. It's like taking medical advice from a car mechanic.
It's true that he's a writer but he speaks from his experience. I haven't bought his book and only taken a grasp of it from those "financial advisors" that have discussed the elements and contents of it.

There is a reality about taking those opportunities to buy during the crashes and corrections. It's like any person can tell that detail but knowing when it will happen is another question that one should determine.

It's good to listen for some piece of advise but you still need to analyze what you listen and what you have to get.
2207  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies and their Bounty scams on: June 06, 2022, 03:33:59 AM
It's not just about the forum but also about the knowledge about the crypto. Aside from being the newbie in rank, it doesn't mean that they're not knowledgeable in the crypto market.

There's a likelihood that they don't want to hire someone as they've got already someone to manage their bounty for them so, so they make a new account.

Bounties are really difficult to read and know the future of it, even with good bounty managers, their future is undetermined but at least they've got an assurance of getting paid for their participation.
2208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: June 05, 2022, 03:22:41 PM
I've checked the roster updates for teams on Dota 2 and for the last week of May, a lot of things has happened. Everyone is getting prepared for the upcoming major and qualifiers.

Watching right now, Grand Finals: Virtus.Pro and No sorry. Excited to watch again ramzes on a finals game. As of typing this, it's the first game for the bo5 series.

This is for the tournament on D2CL: Season 11
2209  Economy / Speculation / Re: It goes same way people never learn btc 30k on: June 05, 2022, 01:32:39 PM
People never learn now those whos scared to buy btc will be ONes who buy btc when btc 50-60k.
Its now dip but people always scared of dips and they prefer to buy from top not from lows.
30k is most scared price range many hope it goes lower but instutions data shows very small possibility tht btc ever can go much lower .
They're waiting for a move before they buy.

Just as the cycle, it's always like this.

When you tell them to buy when it's low they won't do it but if you tell them to buy at the top, they'll buy it. It's the price that gives that security and guarantee that they're doing it wrong even it is expensive.

I've done that too and bought at the top and FOMO is a real thing that makes everyone wanting to buy even we're seeing the price is high.
2210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had 50k and it was life or death situation to triple that money to pay... on: June 05, 2022, 11:10:39 AM
If the situation is in life and death and you've got money on hand, there's no need to look forward for the future if that money can save your loved one. No hesitations.

I was once in a situation that I've got money ready to pay for buying a property and suddenly my kid was hospitalized and no double thinking I've made, I've spent the money for hospitalization despite it's for another property which will be an investment and this is no different of using it for buying crypto.
2211  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 8 Mistake People Make When Investing In Crypto on: June 05, 2022, 09:34:51 AM
Do not forget about those people that have taken loans to invest because of some of those mistakes you've listed. They've been hit by the hype so they FOMO and buy those coins that recently got high and they are left at the top as the coin's price start to dump.

There's nothing wrong in investing into one crypto if it's only bitcoin. That's even the better choice for everyone that have made a lot of mistake if they want to keep going on with the market.
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet on: June 04, 2022, 10:36:12 PM
recently I've come across some information for an upcoming soccer match and I'd like to place a big bet of 50-100k, how easy would it be for me to take out a loan and how long would it take? has anyone else done something like this?

feel free to message me or comment below  Smiley
This will I'll never do.

Even if I've got an information and there's an insider, you'll never be sure with the source of that information you've heard. Well, this is you and it's your idea and you should have a good record if you're going to take a loan from someone or even in the banks and any financing institution.

It's better to don't use loaned money for your bets. If you lose, what's next? You'll blame yourself or that source you've got because you're too confident of betting with such amounts and you have to pay that loan with interest. Think again OP!
2213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market 2022 | Back to the Bearish cycle: 2018-2020 year? on: June 04, 2022, 08:59:43 PM
This market cap has fallen 43% since the start of the year, which is equivalent to $1 trillion leaving the market.
For those of you who have been on this forum for a long time, I would like to ask about the current state of the crypto market. Does this mark the start of a protracted bearish cycle. Like in the 2018-2020 season?
Yes, it has already started long ago.

That's why if there's a comparison again with the market and it's gonna be this time. Hold your positions and buy those cryptos that have plummeted a lot because we may never see them again that low when bull comes back.

We don't know how quick or long the market will turn into bullish again. But just as what we mostly do during the bear market, it's all about picking those cryptos at their respective cheap prices.
2214  Economy / Economics / Re: The effect of the 100 day war on Russia economically on: June 04, 2022, 01:16:21 PM
Probably they have a back up plan but whatever it is, that will still cost them billions of money. The news I've seen, all of the ways of paying them and them paying their debts, they've been closed and shut.

This sanction, it's not them that's feeling it most but the other countries that have been badly ouching of the price of oil. But if they can't feel it yet, eventually, they'll come along with their alliances but still, it's a heavy effect on them.
2215  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How anyone ever heard or used this Crypto trading site? on: June 04, 2022, 11:13:45 AM
@OP, I have never seen nor heard your website but this is what makes me remember a lot of things from this thread: Don't get tricked by hidden spam on this forum

We all know to not click on any suspicious links, and on this forum spam usually gets deleted pretty quickly. However, there's a special kind of spam links that often stays for longer periods of time.
It usually looks like the following:

Code:
Has anyone tried this service?
*link to the service or just name of the service*

By making it look like the original poster isn't promoting the service but merely asking people's opinions about it, such thread generates much more clicks and genuine replies than the usual spam link that gets deleted after a few minutes. The sites that are spammed in this way are usually the same scams, ponzi's, phishing and malware sites.

Here's some tips for distinguishing genuine questions from hidden spam:
1. OP is a brand new account.
If OP is a fresh account, they probably were registered with sole purpose of starting this thread.

2. The thread is created in incorrect section.
If you see such threads in board other than Service Discussions, it should raise a huge red flag.

3. The OP is very short.
Legitimate topics about services usually start with some small personal review or short description of a service. Spam threads usually start with just a single question like "Have you heard about X?".

A lot of signs that you've there OP just as what it's been told. And it's good to bring this up in here so that everyone will have to remember all of these signs.
2216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 03, 2022, 09:33:52 PM
Finals so it's gotta be Celtics or Warriors.

Game 2 soon and the game 1 was full of excitement and hype. This was the first time again more than years ago when I've watched Celtics at the finals.

The rookie in the finals have made their very first momentum and hopefully, they'll make it again but this is GSW. They're known as one of the kings of the finals.
2217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What NFT do you recommend to keep an eye on? on: June 03, 2022, 12:47:20 PM
If you're an artist, just look for those NFTs that are really good as an art and you see the value within. Well, if someone is going to ask me what NFT I'm keeping an eye then I'll choose the top ones like the Bored Ape.

But, I'll never buy any of those because I've got no budget for buying that one.

The NFTs today have become low in popular due to the market condition and that's why just as the crypto market, only the best remains to be strong.
2218  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💎ONEHASH.COM💎 900+ BITCOIN CASINO GAMES 🎰 PROVABLY FAIR 🏆 DAILY CONTESTS 💰 on: June 02, 2022, 10:28:40 AM
They won't disclose the reason for it but I'll take a guess that it's about the number of customers that they're having. Because if there's decent number of customers that contributes to their operation and profit, they might just continue it.

I'm thinking the same, it is reasonable to close the site down once the owner feel that the business is no longer give them good profit.
The competition in this gambling industry is so tough, casino needs to compete with other existing casinos by offering something different/better if the casino want to compete then survive.
In this case, onehash seems to be lack of offers, promos, as well as advertisement if we compare it to other leading crypto casinos.
Perhaps they will come back with a new project in the future after closing this one down, who knows...?
They've made changes and try to deliver also with the demand of the dice which made them launched cyberdice and made onehash from a sportsbook to casino games.

But, it didn't end well for them.

Yeah, they lacked of marketing and promos and something that shall make players go back to them but that's quite a journey for them. Best of luck to the owner and their staff.
2219  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies and eagerness lack of patience on: June 02, 2022, 09:02:22 AM
Most and common problem of newbies these days is that they're hasty. Hasty in a sense that if they invest right now, they want it to grow overnight and call themselves rich easy.

Well, that's not the process if they start investing in the crypto market and most of us that have understood that reality on this market had became patient and it's not just all about rank and tenure but also the learning and loving the process that you'll love once you get there at the top and considers yourself that you've became successful in your own ways.
2220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paid the birth fee using bitcoin at the clinic, by accident. on: June 02, 2022, 07:00:54 AM
Congratulations!

That's an unexpected yet surprising and happy moment for you. Your wife gave birth to your child and then the doctor had that little logo on his shirt which had given the idea that he's a bitcoin investor.

Well, for me, I wouldn't still wear any bitcoin logo in the public. I'm aware that this incident could also make us find out the other bitcoin holders and investors but I'm more worried about a wrench attack.
