2221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 21, 2022, 08:13:30 AM
If he will win this fight that means he is back and people will feel his presence. If he wasn't disqualified, he is still a champion now, so it's still like Casimero the champion here, and fighting a challenger. Though it's a new division, I think Casimero is more comfortable here and he will have an impressive win for his comeback.

Who are betting here for Casimero to KO his opponent in less than 6 rounds?

He can win this one if he did some extensive training that will gonna give him a more comfortable easy fight as soon as he steps in the ring, He needs to do it right this time not showing any negativity because so far, he hasn't even got a good fight after disqualifications any other reasons. We know how cocky Casimero is but he only does that for promotions and to gain some fans he is doing it wrong and the result is not really good when it comes to getting what he wants in the boxing industry. This time he should try to be professional if he wants some changes in his career.
2222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: November 21, 2022, 07:43:54 AM
I think they just became like that after they invested considerable funds to create the project and they needed quick income when they finally lunch it to recover their investment. I already see such kinds of scenario when they sell some of their tokens in the market like most NFT games does all the time. That's why we need to be careful when it comes to these kinds of people because after they sold their tokens, most of them don't have any plan to pursue or continue the developments of their project rather they leave their investors waiting for nothing.
2223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 20, 2022, 02:38:34 PM
Without their former coach they are still a better team, in fact, they get better now IMO, and that's probably due to their finals experience. On the opposite side, we have the Warriors struggling despite their good performance in the past NBA FInals.

In this case, the talent is in the team players themselves and maybe the new coach just made some simple changes in order for the players to still do the things that made them contenders the last season and with the current best record in the league, they are really working and might gonna be still the Eastern Conference representative in the NBA finals. With their next home games, I'm sure they will gonna improve their ranks once more and probably hold their records until the end of the season if no injuries will push them to the sideline for more than 2 weeks.
2224  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk want to buy bitcointalk on: November 20, 2022, 01:38:51 PM
There's no reason for him to do that unless he has something in his mind that we don't really understand but I'm pretty sure that they won't sell this community because the people who contribute their countless hours to support this community is cannot be paid with money. Especially those users that are like living in the future when it comes to their computer knowledge. This community is not only built by a person but also by the help of the communities by sharing their guides and lessons which gives the future investors, miners, and others on what things they will need to do to avoid scammers and hackers and also to do the right thing for the good results of their works.
2225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 20, 2022, 12:39:44 PM
There is no doubt that this fight is one of the most exciting fights next year but why they are taking too long to prepare for this one? I mean, it's more than 6 months of preparation, are they not gonna fight one or two more fights after that? This is not really recommended because injuries can happen in practice and training and it might lead to postponing or changing the boxer who is supposed to fight them.
2226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in seed rounds on: November 20, 2022, 12:18:01 PM
I think the era of ICO and its similar products is over. Most projects would probably connect directly to a firm or a seed company without going public, and then open a small public token sale before it go to exchange. At least that's how some projects that I followed do their sale.

Why don't you try to focus on BTC instead? While the ROI might be smaller I think it is better than buying tokens from new projects. Or look around the top 100 or something and buy their token after looking at their roadmap and how well they do in the last few years. It should be easier to filter them out since weak projects will likely launch another round of funding or sell most of their tokens due to the bear market.

Yeah! those eras were rockin! back then when they first introduced it to the public but it was ruined by huge numbers of competitors and most of them are fake and no good at all. Right now, they still exist but their popularity has dramatically subsided, and almost nothing you can find a good investment from those. I agreed of choosing only BTC for investment nowadays, with ongoing negative trends regarding exchanges, it's really better to stick to BTC today rather than these tokens that are not really guaranteed to grow.
2227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 18, 2022, 08:28:26 AM
Great ending between the Nets and Trailblazers tonight. Durant missed a shot with a couple second left but Royce O’Neal was there to clean it up and get the win. Ben Simmons had a great night coming off the bench and shooting 6-6 with 12 rebounds. Maybe they’re hoping coming off the bench will help Ben like it seems to be helping Westbrook. Kevin Durant ended up with 35 and 8.

That shooting percentage tonight will be a pain in the ass for his critics, I mean, they should really consider not going overboard because Ben is still an NBA player and have the capability to improved especially when he knows exactly where he should be. his offense and defense help a lot this time despite Kevin Durant's unusual performance. This is how star players should be, when one is not having a good day, others should know how exactly what to do and some of them will take the opportunity to take action to save their team from losing.
2228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc Are limited supply and people Are withdraw them from exchangers on: November 18, 2022, 07:46:50 AM
Exchanges should never go beyond what they have their own reserves, but they do. That's the real problem here. However, I'm quite sure what you're trying to get at here. Although, I wouldn't exactly describe the price of Bitcoin stable, literally ever. It's known for its volatility, and to some extent that's by design for now.

What's for certain is news like FTX isn't exactly great for consumer confidence, especially when we're trying to convince people that Bitcoin is a better alternative to fiat.

Yeah! right, they were caught red-handed when they did that and they are now suffering for the things they did. It's really hard to trust exchanges after this because they are not just like any other common exchanges because they are one of the biggest ones but they also failed to stay as positive and good as possible because their real colors have shown and the only people who are lucky are those who withdraw their funds just before the disaster hits FTX.
2229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: *El Salvador To Start Purchasing Bitcoin Everyday* on: November 17, 2022, 10:52:06 AM
This move is kind of wise because we might not see how big it will be before the start of bull runs and most people think this is not going well. But real investors know exactly where would this one go because it would be a huge profit once they managed to acquire a huge amount of bitcoins and sold some of it in the future. El Salvador wants to be the first to move because it wanted to be the first to earn once the price of BTC will gonna breaks its old ATH again.
2230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 17, 2022, 09:45:33 AM
Why not? just anything that involves basketball and maybe Carmelo can find a job. The thing is that he doesn't have such loyalty to a team, if he just stay like in the Knicks, maybe they will have a place for him.
But anything goes, maybe he can start as as assistant coach on other teams, he has the experience to teach young guys as well.
Dwight though looks settled down in Taiwan, so good for him.

With such experiences and dedications, he can really be an assistant coach after when no ones really want to sign him to play. Maybe it will gonna work out for him this time just like the other retired NBA players who actually became a good coach after they retired. I think Howard can be an announcer after he is done in Taiwan because the guy is an entertainer when he playing in the NBA. I'm sure his future is still good when he still want to be a part of the association like Kendrick Perkins and others.
2231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: November 17, 2022, 09:11:22 AM
I've been reading some rumors that SBF is just too young to pull something this big. People have hinted or suspected that some Government or Financial institution is involved in this debacle. It could be well true if you're going to look at the list of people that has been connected with the exchange. We'll see once the cases filed against him and FTX starts rolling.

It will be all cleared once they start the investigations and one by one they will gonna track who's really behind it one thing is for sure, they will gonna face some real consequences if they are proven guilty because what they have done is not a small matter because they clearly act good in the first place and attract more customers. until when they found an opening, they execute their plan and they even do a cheap manipulation when they suddenly fool their users as if it was real that they were hacked. Damn! that's really an obvious escape because they can no longer give their users crypto assets anymore.
2232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jermell Charlo vs Tim Tszyu - Jan 28, 2023 on: November 17, 2022, 08:25:22 AM
What a way to start the year by having two tough fighters I consider both fighters undefeated Charlo's loss was a fluke he is still one of the most dominating fighters in his division, but Tszyu is capable to wrest the title I have seen Tszyu fight on Youtube one of this is a knockout win against Jeff Horn his fighting style is very much similar to his father, my heart goes to Tszyu but I feel that Charlo has everything to keep the title, he is a more experienced fighter and have fought big names already.

Obviously, this bout is not any other champion vs the underdog fight because we all know that Tszyu can actually turn the table once he feels that he can take Charlo's punches. it just seems like they might gonna give us a more exciting fight than Crawford's next fight. Anyway, I think most of the spectators have already assumed that this fight will be easy for Charlo cause he was already able to overcome most fights like this but he needs to consider not slacking off because Tim can actually knock him out.
2233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: can Russia and Ukraine reconcile? on: November 16, 2022, 12:54:31 PM
Right now, the only one who can decide to stop this war is Putin but since the damage and weaponry have been already used and many soldiers had already sacrificed for both parties, they will only stop after they totally captured all the Ukrainian territories which really hard to do because their allies are supporting them. Looks like this war will not gonna end soon because of how the other nations getting involved in it each one of them have its own mission and they are making it like a ground where they can test some of their weapons for real.
2234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 16, 2022, 12:13:05 PM

If Bron and KD team up each other, their spirits will be lifted and they will play at their best. But I don't even know how it happens. Lakers priority if they are to acquire a big star for Bron will have to unload Westbrook and its super huge contract first. I think Westbrook is the highest paid Laker right now. But the season already started, I do not think the Lakers are willing to give up its future first-round draft picks just to unload Westbrook. Lakers will sacrifice this whole season and starts to re-arm itself next season without the burden from Westbrook.

Most likely that would gonna happen because nowadays they are no longer open for any negotiations regarding Westbrook and I think they already accepted their fate about not going to the NBA playoffs this season based on the kind of game they are showing. Maybe they will gonna make the best of their team just to keep their franchise at the top and revenue will still keep coming as usual since LBJ and AD are still active and getting enough points to keep their best record as a player.
2235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shell, enters Bitcoin mining and sponsors Bitcoin conferences on: November 16, 2022, 09:43:52 AM
They are the first to do this and hope that it will be a good result once they implement their plans. Looks like the problem of power consumption for BTC mining is going to be solved in the next years because after Shell will show positive results about this, I'm sure the others will follow it as well just like how the payment apps nowadays become crypto wallets as well. Maybe for others, this is not a smart move by Shell but to be the first to help the miners means getting more clients first and also being the first one to acquire huge profits from them.
2236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I mine? on: November 16, 2022, 09:12:59 AM
Eth classic for now is a good choice for mining, all you need is to save it first if it's not profitable for now because the price is still not good if you sell it directly,
and how many GPUs do you have, if there's a lot, you have to think about the cost too electricity

That's right, if you have enough resources to mine it, it's better for you to mine ETH classic because the price will gonna give you a considerable amount of income when bull runs come but honestly, mining has more risk than just buying coins when the price is low and sell it when the price is high. Because you are not only risking your time, but you also pay more electricity bills this time and risking your computer components if you go for full time mining. And also you are not gonna be 100% sure if the coins you choose will be one of the next big things in the future.
2237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 16, 2022, 08:52:54 AM

That's right! The boxers are left hanging because they cannot do what they wanted and so is their legacy left uncemented because of some fights were to impossible to happen. Promoters should've just agree that whoever has more belt or whoever has more to offer, they should be the ones who will control the fight and demand what will happen as they're on the A-side, but that's just easier said than done because these promoters aren't willing to listen.

There's more than this actually because we don't know what kinds of negotiations they're having behind closed doors. I think it's not all because of money but something bigger than that if the negotiations between two huge boxers are not successful. First of all, promoters don't really care about their boxer's glory or records when they reach popularity where their fight can earn millions of dollars because, at this point, promoters are taking care of everything especially when they gonna fight a worthy opponent that is capable of defeating them, if it's not a multi-million deal, it won't gonna happen and they won't take the risk at all.
2238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges or platforms with too good offers. Be careful on: November 15, 2022, 02:03:45 PM
It's not just a lesson but a huge one to take heed of next time because now we know that such a thing really exists and we all thought these kinds of exchanges are just for preventive measures only I mean a "What If" scenario but we know now that they are actually real and I think the most trend right now is the hard wallet which will gonna be used for storing crypto assets. After what happened with those giant exchanges, people will gonna be extra careful when it comes to storing their cryptos and they will gonna avoid exchanges for long-term holding after what they have witnessed.
2239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is spamming mempool on: November 15, 2022, 01:15:22 PM
It's either prevention for mass withdrawals, or the community became more paranoid after the second biggest exchange has scammed the community. For me, it's probably just coincidence. But if it's as a prevention for another exchange "bank run", then I believe the result would be a positive, not only for the exchanges, but for the community as well, no? We don't want another crash.

Let's just hope we won't see another bad scenario again because the timing cannot be worse than this after the FTX has been hacked and its users are in panicked, some of the people are withdrawing their funds from exchanges all around the crypto industry to prevent the same thing happen to them. We cannot blame them because they are just being realistic and the result will be a disaster if Binance will become like that's why let's not assume the worse rather we just hope all goods for them.
2240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 15, 2022, 09:45:53 AM
I can say that the Los Angeles Lakers surprised me the most this year. They started the season badly. 2nd from the last in the western conference with 3 wins and 10 losses. LeBron James failed to save. The important thing is to be a team and we have seen this once again.

There is no hope for the Lakers this season and they are just playing nowadays to keep their body in shape and also for the fans. There is no way that with that kind of play they will gonna somehow get themself entering the NBA playoffs this season. Anyway, this is not the time to be sad when you are in the last spot because you will have a higher chance to get a once in a 20 years player like Victor Wembanyama, they said he was like LBJ when he was about to be draft into NBA team and maybe this dude is even more good than him.
