2221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Btc price fall? on: December 26, 2015, 11:39:04 PM
i didn't look at the price for nearly a full day, and now i see the price was dumped to the ground in a matter of hours. this has to be manipulation. happy to see that it didn't dive under $400. that's the only good thing.
2222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 26, 2015, 11:27:15 PM
People that buy up these sell offs will be the new wealthy elite.

Then we can arrest the British monarchy and send them to the guillotine.

even if the price didn't go down today, then it still is a great price to buy coins at if you are long term minded. $40-$50 higher or lower doesn't matter then.
2223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Christmas Call: $700 on: December 25, 2015, 06:38:47 PM
450 is a nice price. I even consider to buy more bitcoins at this price because we got a momentum going on.
The only thing we need is a another pump to settle above 500 dollar

easier said than done. there is way too much selling pressure around the $490-$500 levels to maintain a stable price above $500. it will take probably a few more weeks to settle above $500.

Or even a few more months, who knows. At this point in time, many people who has some holdings on btc is likely to cash out for the holidays to buy something for Christmas or the incoming New Year. The start of the new year would likely see some action in the price. Resistance sits around $475. Break those barrier and we might confidently aim to new highs.

i think it will require us to come close to the $500 price level a few more times to get rid of all the sellers. they can't keep selling and selling. once the sellers run out of their coins, we will easily go over $500. we just need a bit more patience.
2224  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 25, 2015, 06:31:04 PM
What do you think about investing in sites like hourlymine.com ? Is it a ponzi? Any experience?
hmmm i think ponzi is good for you if you join in beginning of site,
I mean find ponzi sites that are still new, so it's likely a scam still long

Their name sound like a ponzi/scam.
When it comes to website investments. I never invest if there is no address/ phone number and real proof they actually own those hash in the form of a video of photo's of their mining equipment.

sometimes ponzi scheme can be very profitable for you, I've been profit more than 0.5 btc from double bitcoin site, you have to be smart, to get profit around ponzi

even if you are the smartest person here on bitcointalk, even then you can't predict anything regarding a ponzi. you never know when the creators of the ponzi will stop everything, they can do it at any moment they want. it just depends on when they find they have stolen enough money from people. then they shut down and run.
2225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold onto your balls gentlemen , the halvening is coming! ;) on: December 25, 2015, 05:44:24 PM
I don't expect dramatic increase in price after halving and I think overall price will be between 500-600 $ for next few months.Although there are lot of reports which tells new all time high but this is what is my thinking about the realistic price.

i have no problems with the price going up around $100 per month till the actual block halving day. it would mean we will see a new ath and a lot world wide news coverage.

$550 january 25
$650 february 25
$750 march 25
$850 april 25
$950 may 25
$1050 june 25
$1150 july 25  Shocked
2226  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropping again? on: December 25, 2015, 05:34:16 PM
The price went down to 430 in a matter of hours. Continues to go down.
I predict that in the next 48 hours the price of 1btc will be 350USD
Your pridiction went wrong dude,I think there is very less chance that it will touch the low of $350 anytime soon considering the factors like mining difficulties, reaching near the halving etc.

i hope for that dude that he didn't sell all his coins when the price was going down to around $430 as he was hoping for $350.  Cheesy

2228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going to be the next big Bitcoin announcement? on: December 25, 2015, 05:23:53 PM
Once it goes over $500, it s gonna hit the news again. 500 mark is a pretty big psychological barrier.

the bitcoin price has already been on $500 and has also been on several news channels. i don't think it will happen again when we reach $500. i think the $600 level will be more interesting coverage as it is a new high.
2229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Roger Ver lost his fuckin' mind? on: December 25, 2015, 05:21:11 PM
Roger Ver is an idiot. He got rich for owning bitcoin early, doing absolutely nothing to earn his wealth. He only gets attention for being rich, and has never benefited the community positively. All he does is to earn more money and earn himself a reputation. He deserves the ridicule.

i agree with the part where he didn't had to do much in order to be rich from bitcoin since he is a very early adopter. but he is invested in several trusted and respected bitcoin companies. don't forget that. every person is looking out to earn more, can't see what's wrong with that.
2230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Work colleagues laugh at me getting into Bitcoin on: December 24, 2015, 09:20:53 PM
some people around me do think bitcoin is nothing more than a ponzi. but they have lowered their tone quite a bit lately. i have showed them that you can actually use bitcoin to pay for stuff and to send money from one place to the other, instantly.

2232  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain transaction fee just got doubled on: December 24, 2015, 10:53:49 AM
with my bitcoin core wallet i can set any kind of fee i want. i always use at least 10k sats, but i am sure it will confirm within 2 blocks if i just add 5k sat fee.
2233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transactions taking very long time to Confirm on Weekends and Friday nights on: December 24, 2015, 10:50:52 AM
i don't think i have noticed a real difference in seeing my transactions getting confirmed in the weekend. the longest i had to wait was nearly 50 minutes for my transaction to confirm with 10k sat fee. and that was mid week.
2234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Simple Poll - plus or minus $450 by mid-day GMT? on: December 24, 2015, 10:47:32 AM
it's hard to guess as it can easily go up and down like $10-$15 within an hour. but i guess it will be slightly above the $450 price level.
2235  Economy / Speculation / Re: China stimulus effect on bitcoin price on: December 24, 2015, 10:45:28 AM
nothing new. most of the demand is comming from china. bitcoin is a great investment tool for chinese people. i only hope they don't turn out to be short term minded. that would be sad. i once was watching a documentary about chinese people and their way of investing in stocks. they take out mortgages and invest all the money in very risky stocks. bad investment style.
2236  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: December 24, 2015, 10:40:17 AM
realistic people don't think bitcoin will replace fiat. there is no reason for bitcoin to replace it. bitcoin and fiat can function perfectly fine together. bitcoin is an alternative.
2237  Economy / Economics / Re: Transaction fee on: December 24, 2015, 10:37:39 AM
the current fees are very predictable. you are recommended to pay 1000 satoshi per every kb. it's easy and very cheap. it doesn't scare any one.
2238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 23, 2015, 11:47:23 PM
The amount of time between using bitcoins to pay for a cup of coffee.
Until this is as short as paying with fiat, there will be no MASS adoption.

i some times visit a cafe close to where i live, where you can pay with bitcoin. i just scan the qr code and the coins are sent, and i have my beer. it's that quick. they don't require you to wait for 1 confirmation.

Yeah I don't know where this comment is coming from. Normally when being in a shop, you just scan the the QR code and transfer your coins.

From there you are good to go. No waiting list for people who paid with bitcoin.

for small things there is indeed no need for confirmations. if the amount is higher than $50-$100 then they may ask for at least 1 confirmation. once i go to that cafe again i will ask them what their limit is for no confirmation payments.
2239  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2015, 11:43:22 PM
Tell me all about it
of course a lot of my favorite things about bitcoin, one of it,that I can transact using the something that makes his account is very easy and simple, and I also can transact quickly and safely.dan more favorite again, I can obtain and collect bitcoin for free without having to leave the house Smiley
arguably right, earning bitcoin is the easiest job, you just have to sit in front of a laptop,
if you want to get bitcoin without any trouble you can try faucets, very easy

farming faucets is not really worth the time. how much can a hardcore faucet farmer earn in let's say 1 day of full fauceting? $1 worth of bitcoin?
2240  Economy / Speculation / Re: 500$ This Dec ! on: December 23, 2015, 10:01:00 PM
It's not looking too good right now. Let's hope it can stabilize soon and get some traction.
Right now it is a mark that is very very far

the price right now looks soo much better than it did in whole 2015. not sure why you think the price isn't looking good currently.
