What do you think about investing in sites like hourlymine.com ? Is it a ponzi? Any experience?

Investing in ponzi would be a silly decision one may ever take...
The best examples you might have witnessed were weeklyponzi.com and 24hourponzi.com
Instead, just buy and hodl is the best investment right now, at least unless we see the markets stabilizing...

hmmm i think ponzi is good for you if you join in beginning of site,
I mean find ponzi sites that are still new, so it's likely a scam still long

Their name sound like a ponzi/scam.
When it comes to website investments. I never invest if there is no address/ phone number and real proof they actually own those hash in the form of a video of photo's of their mining equipment.

sometimes ponzi scheme can be very profitable for you, I've been profit more than 0.5 btc from double bitcoin site, you have to be smart, to get profit around ponzi

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
I am all for investing money but extra precautions should be taken when investing it online.Real estate,as far as my opinion is concerned,is the best investment choice of all the three that you mention

Investing is always better but if you feel the need for safety go with less profitable investments.

What kind of question is this? If course it is better to invest your money. I thought that was common sense.

I would call it smart and lucky instead because you can be the first member to invest and got scammed ,soo one advice is avoid them since is 120% sure they will scam you on the start or the middle.Invest usually has a better interest rates ,and a huge different return, when you profit, when you loose well there is a risk but should worth to try.

Please don't give people wrong impressions. A ponzi is a ponzi. It's the most risky gambling method. People shouldn't use ponzi sites at all. There are better ways to waste money. Ponzi is not one of them.

Totally agree with you there! Ponzi as the name says It will dump you today/tomorrow or right after the moment you deposit your money.Gambling is still a better option as you might just hit the luck and have wins but ponzi is no chance at all.

But in the end, it's still those people who owns their money who decides what to do with their money after all. You can advice but if they want to be involved in such a risky method of growing money, let them. Roll Eyes There are ways to get profit from it; it's just that most of the time you are tend to lose your money rather than earn something from it.

even if you are the smartest person here on bitcointalk, even then you can't predict anything regarding a ponzi. you never know when the creators of the ponzi will stop everything, they can do it at any moment they want. it just depends on when they find they have stolen enough money from people. then they shut down and run.

this time it's better to save it used to be, so many investments that can not be trusted in today's virtual world, but if you want to invest it better to invest in the real world, so it is very easy to control if an error occurred  Smiley

This is one of the case where the cure is worse than the disease. I would agree with your claim that any normal minded person should stay away from the ponzis. Even if you manage to get some profits out of a ponzi scheme (by chance), remember that your profits came at the expense of the others. But gambling is equally bad. I am active here in Bitcointalk for the last 3-4 years. And I have seen posts by dozens of users, whose lives were ruined as a result of their addiction to gambling.

I prefer more to invest or trade, i just don't want to see the bitcoins or money staying at the same place for a long time so better if you have where to invest or trade then try a little bit.

In trading We can earn some good amount and better profit as well but the problem its too much risky like gambling We can invest in trading and we are doing trading If any cheat or scam us. thats the problem for us Invest also will waste. So think many time and decide dude.Smiley

Saving money is a waste of time, as time passes it looses its value hence amount you posess. Invest, that's the main way of making money.

Yes saving money without interests just in safe box kind of thing must be a devaluing buying capacity of your money. If you invest your money, then it will work for you. There are many possible way of investing money with bitcoin ecosystem. Cloud mining must be a one of the greatest choice to make our money working for us.

the deflationary nature of Bitcoin may change the need for investing. generally normal fiat lose value due to inflation, saving itself will cause u to lose koney. bitcoin however does not have this problem hence, less of a need to invest.

Speaking from my own experience, granted I am not as lucky as others I have seen on this forum. It is far better to save your BTC then to invest your $ or BTC into anything. The only time I have personally been successful is when I have locked up my bitcoins in cold storage(which are the only thing still growing in value Tongue ). Every time I try to grow my bits, it backfires and I get annihilated while the price of BTC continues to climb over a period of time.

Locking btc into cold storage is not always a good option. There are some times that the price could be as high as now and crash alot like 30 minutes ago so if you lock your btc down then you cant enjoy selling it high and buy it back cheaper , therefore no profit for you to make
