2221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 21, 2022, 10:58:47 AM
If they can't make it to the two tentative dates, of Nov. 12 and 19, then I doubt that this fight could ever be made this year.

As others said, those who dates are very close, as we are near the end of the month of September and this fighter needs 2 months to prepare, not just training, but they are obliged to come out and talk to the media about their fight. So those two dates are not going to be met. December might be too close, and perhaps they will rather have the holidays. So most likely the fight will be next year.

I think this match-up is in danger of not happening. Terrence Crawford has been vocal that it happens this year or no fight at all. It might be that the two boxers are training already but we don't know how serious. Boxers trainings are at different level when they have contracts to face someone.

But what are the next moves for Terrence and Errol if this match up won't happen? Are they moving up to another division?

Crawford here is more serious IMO, but Spence is just trying to avoid the fight and tell the world that he has more belts so he is the better figher. If this fight will not happen, let's blame it on Spence, and I think there is no reason for Crawford to stay, the best thing to do is to move up.

...It's very clear this is a fake twitter even though it's a blue tick, so don't believe it.

This blue checkmark indicates that the account is verified for the @DJMAX_global account, so it is not related to Vitalik Buterin - @VitalikButerin.  If law enforcement agencies are interested in this scam, they will receive comprehensive information from Twitter support about who @DJMAX_global really is.

Right now the @DJMAX_global account looks like this:

Unfortunately, not all knew about this and how to verify a legit account which is why still a lot of people easily got scammed and they use rewards to attract greedy souls. Many impersonated known personalities and scammers use this account to trick innocent people - I guess there is easy money in social media more than the profit we earn from investing in Bitcoin or crypto.
As per to see, as the technology keeps on upgrading, more and more scammers had already popup and more tricks. And the more we don't have to trust strangers anymore.
2223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stressful crypto market on: September 20, 2022, 12:02:30 PM
Investors are always excited about buying Bitcoin. Many people deserve that the value of Bitcoin will fall further. Due to high volatility, large gaps are found in less time. That is why some investors always wait for the maximum dip. But if Bitcoin doesn't reach up to those investors' expectations, they regret. Because if a bitcoin goes from $20k to $70k or more, then it can be understood how miserable the situation occurs of those investors.

A big regret that keeps haunting them failing to buy while the market is still down, it's something that is really hard to predict and needed to have a deeper research before concluding your investment target. This volatile nature of bitcoin thought provides good opportunities to those who are capable of playing well, it's not an easy journey and a quick to reach business but a real investment venue where all the possibilities can happen if you will continue to monitor the progress inside the market.

Ignoring is not my concern but it was a pity for them who just decline the opportunity which we know could help them in the future.
Anyways, I wasn't able to expect that all of us were able to give some interest in crypto after hearing some FUDs and negative reviews as it surely gives them a reason to become doubtful, and yes, no desires will make. For me, I won't encourage them to do so but just let their self brings interest to learn as for that time they will change their mindset and be more courageous to take the risk and going to understand how this work.
2224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 20, 2022, 11:09:36 AM
Naoya Inoue is now closer to becoming an undisputed bantamweight champion. What do you think guys, will he move up now to the featherweight division after that, or he will stay as bantamweight to accept more challenges here?

For me, he should moved up.

After dominating every single opponent in his current weight division, he should move up and continue climbing to the top because a boxer like him is very rare nowadays and it's really a rare scene to see someone winning his fight one after another to become undisputed and he is not just winning, he is knocking his opponent as if they were nothing but a punching bag for him. Just look at what he did to Donaire in their last fight. It's really nice to see he will beat his opponents in the upper-weight class like that.

If he really wants to achieve greatness, there's no reason for him to stay at bantamweight where he already won the undisputed championship (in case he will win), new division, better challenges and if he still succeed, that will make him more popular and will become one of the greatest boxers in the world.

Let's expect that it will be his next move, staying in a division that he is dominating does not increase his ranking, so it's wise to move up and face the champions, I think the higher the weight the more popular the division, which means more money will come for him.
2225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 20, 2022, 10:46:59 AM

They have the date of Nov 19 if I'm not mistaken, but it can be taken by anyone if they don't reach an agreement as early as November as there will be no time left to prepare.

I think that was only a tentative date, it's not official yet that's why we are still discussing on when they will make the official announcement. Some are saying this fight will push through this year, but until now there's still no announcement so I think we are losing patience here.
2226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need some advice on: September 19, 2022, 10:37:26 PM
I need some thoughts about this group I've joined a week a go. They are giving free signals for trading and I actually start earning since day 1. Are there really group like this? or Am I on the right trading group. We trade in Batex anf U-koala.
If you trade with signals from here, if you get profit, then it is good for you. And if there is no match between trading with their signal then you should discard this trading.Because no trading guru can be good at giving signals for free. It is a trick to lure the customer into a fraud trap. But you should always keep the free signal in the highest consideration.
Maybe it was selfish not to share but If I already know what will happen next, I obviously make use of it to trade by myself. But look how these self-proclaim gurus/experts, pretend about helping and giving signals, asking for money from it but in the end, you are the one who suffers losses while these people had saved your money. Why we should trust them in the first place?
You are right, this trick is a trap for greedy and lazy individuals who think that they will help them.
2227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: September 19, 2022, 12:25:46 PM
So we will have another trilogy if Kambosos win over Haney in the rematch? Maybe, but there is no clause about it right? Perhaps if we see some highway robbery in Australia, so controversial that there is a huge uproar from the fans all over and demanding that there should be a 3rd fight because George doesn't deserved to get a win. So I'm seeing no trilogy first, and the majority of us, it seems Haney will repeat his performance and then wait for Loma winning his fight.

That's a sure thing, it will happen, no rematch clause but a trilogy is going to be a more interesting fight, which means they are going to make a lot of money. However, that "if" probably has a chance of 30% because bookies rate this fight as a sure win for Haney since he is listed as the heavy favorite.

Their first fight betting odds were like X2.5 on Kambosos. Now it skyrocketed to x6. Unbelievable. So the betting gods believed that past-prime Donaire and GGG have better chances of upsetting their opponents rather than Kambosos retaking his belts in his own backyard from young Devin Haney.

At this moment there is no more rematch clause because this fight was only a part of their first fight wherein Kambosos managed to inked the rematch clause should he lose. Anyways, I agree that a trilogy might happen if Kambosos manages to win the undisputed belts. And of course, there will be a lot of big offers on Kambosos should he pull an upset. KingRy of DAZN and Tank of PBC will try to squeeze as much money as possible from their promoters and networks in order for a shot at the undisputed belts.

Bookies know that Kambosos has a very slim chance of winning. It's a rematch but it's very obvious in the first fight that it was just like a walk in the park by Haney, I think fans are not excited with this fight, they are excited on the next fight of Haney which is probably Loma.
2228  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 18, 2022, 11:47:25 PM
Quote
Distractions and lack of boundaries
Many people work from home because they want more time to spend on their hobbies or with their family. But the lack of a concrete boundary between work and home can lead to distractions such as interruptions by the kids or doing domestic chores during work time.

That's my biggest problem. When I work from home my family acts like I'm available all the time. When I work I have my headphones on because it helps me to focus and filter background noise. They see it but still ignore it and poke me all the time asking questions when I can't hear them.

Imagine my wife talking to me standing in the hallway and then when I don't react because I can't hear her she comes over and asks me if I heard what she was saying. Makes me want to scream profanities every time.
Ohh, yeah...I feel that the same as what I've experienced and I felt I was not productive anymore as I can't work efficiently.
With the nature of the environment being at home feel like we are just at home actually and certainly, it affects our mindset and our performance. But I guess, it only needs some adjustment just like what I did, I locked the room and told them that I was at work. But I think it was more convenient for us if we are at the office as our concentration is only on our job, not with the other stuff.
2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 16, 2022, 09:36:51 PM

I believe that crypto casinos shouldn't worry about this, but they often need to comply with the laws of the countries they operate in order to continue operating.
Money laundering is one of the crimes that have given the crypto space a bad image. But enforcing KYC rules might be very counter productive to the income and operations of these casinos. This is because there are people that have genuine reasons for choosing to protect their privacy or remain anonymous. Cultural, religious or societal factors can be genuine reason why someone might want to be unknown and not necessarily because of crime. Such persons would avoid casinos because of this policy. KYC policy can also give rise to illegal casinos that would take loopholes of the challenges of this policies. The best way to prevent money laundering is to block or stop the source of the money that would be laundered.

Indeed , because most of the people in crypto world more prefer to be unknown rather than be known, they don't want to make KYC most of us chooses crypto because we can hide our identity and freely use it to anywhere we wanted to invest with, but with KYC there will be some feeling maybe we can be afraid because that certain establishment can use our identity somewhere most especially if we are to active in gambling.
Yes, and it was unfortunate that KYC has already been pushed by major exchanges and gambling sites making us closer to no options but to submit our KYC. I'd foresee that sooner or later, KYC is be going to mandatory, especially if crypto becomes legalized in all countries and that was the time to have no other options. But, this will not put an end to money laundering as this will be a long-lasting war that never find yet an effective solution.
2230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 16, 2022, 09:02:13 PM

However, Spence made a big statement last April when he defeated Ugas via TKO because Spence said that he will come for Crawford's belt next. That's why are in this discussion now but unfortunately, the fight might not happen this year.

But was he really serious with his statement or did he just want to hype the match, I believe Crawford has been challenging Spence already before Spence beat Ugas, and we have not heard a response from him that he'll fight Crawford. If he really is serious to make this big fight happen, I think he should make it official so we will stop speculating.

They said the fight will happen this year, I have a little doubt it will happen.
2231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 16, 2022, 08:37:35 PM
Butler can run as a usual and common preventive way to avoid the monster. That's a strategy after all but shouldn't be the entire match that he is running. That's not boxing already trying to just avoid being Knock Out by Inoue on Butler's record.
Maybe he was successful with Sultan, but with a faster and more powerful Inoue, I think he will have trouble all night if he will just uses the same strategy. Inoue loves an opponent that will go toe to toe with him, but I'm pretty sure he also has a strategy to beat an opponent that would love to run.
2232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 16, 2022, 01:56:08 PM
I would say it was a successful event but unfortunately, the impact of this is not good as it looks due to the price drops of Ethereum. I really think that people are worried about what happens after which makes them decided to sell their coins. I hope could just be a short drop and it rallies back next week otherwise, we never see the merge is beneficial.

But yeah, despite the decline, I was still happy to see it is finally done and look forward to a better future for Ethereum. I was still believing that those who sell their ETH will buy again and still see the potential of Ethereum.
2233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It Is Dangerous To Completely Rely On Cryptocurrencies on: September 16, 2022, 11:59:06 AM
It is potentially dangerous if you COMPLETELY and ABSOLUTELY rely on cryptocurrencies without any stable income to back it.

The problem with fully committing with cryptocurrencies is that the latter's nature is generally risky and unforeseeable. You literally have no clue when its price may increase/decrease, even though there are tests and researches done in the market. If you fully commit to cryptocurrencies, you would definitely see a fluctuations on your investment as time goes by.
Perhaps, it was not really advisable. However, we gonna use this as a tool to help to start running a business as an additional sources of income, and while waiting to have a stable job. We know the consequences here and due to the volatility of the market every mistake and decision we made have negative results and could possibly end up our crypto journey. That is why we should have to careful and even we have money, we don't need to put all of them but consider it as backup in case the worse things happen.
2234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) on Its Way to $2,100, Top Trader Says ! on: September 16, 2022, 08:10:51 AM
Well I would have to agree with Mr Scott Redler since I really believe price of ETH will break 2,000 when the merge happens.

My biggest missed opportunities for investing in Crypto was when my friend recommended buying Ethereum when it was less then $100 so I do not sell any of them now and look forward to this merge.

It is good news that Ethereum merge was completed successfully yesterday but its price didn't increase as many market participants had expected which is very disappointing. Ether is down more than 9% which reflects market didn't celebrate seamless merger of Ethereum. In the long-term conversion to proof of stake will have good impact on its price because it is anti-inflationary but due to overall weak economic conditions all financial markets are not performing & so is crypto.
Well, the impact of the merge is not really good as it only generates some rumors for more drops, in fact, that is why we have seen it right now. I'm not seeing this will coincide with the dumping situation of Bitcoin as well but I wasn't really happy with what happened with the ETH price after the merge.
However, we can't neglect the chance that after this drop could be a spike in its price, nobody knows, and might give the possibility that these experts are right with their speculations.
2235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto day trader groups on: September 16, 2022, 07:49:41 AM

there is nothing wrong from losing when we are beginners because this will add experiences to what we did wrong and use it to not happening again , and also those chances are way to improve our attitude and mindset in market like this in which very volatile.
there are some of us who have lose many times before starting to earn and I am one of those. so expect losses but also learn from it.
And the sad reality is that we first suffered losses, and commits mistakes before we realized our wrongdoings. Though we don't want this to happen, unfortunately, we can't also escape this from happening to us. Just like it happen to you, I have had several losses as well in my trading life which sometimes put me down and even think about quitting, however, I realize that there are no sweet rewards if we don't suffer difficulties. Facing these things makes us think wisely and make us stronger to accept what are the results even if it was not what we wanted to happen.
2236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 15, 2022, 12:09:16 PM

Yes, it's obvious that there is a language barrier for GGG, but in any case, he just expressed his appreciation to those who went and watch their face-off. I still remember Osar Dela Hoya being the face of Mexican boxing for many years and Sept is his fighting month, now it's Canelo Alvarez turn.
That's why it's necessary that Canelo will win this fight so he will continue to represent the Mexicans.

And Canelo is still a huge favorite, no surprises here, but hopefully GGG will give us a want we wanted to see. And I agree about the call to the judges to be fair just in case this fight is going to end in their hands.
The age gap and the standing are the basis why Canelo is still the favorite, also, he won the last fight so it's no surprise that he is listed as the favorite, what I'm surprised with is that he is a huge heavy favorite.
2237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 15, 2022, 11:35:57 AM
Many are saying that the penalty for Robert Sarver is very light a $10 million fine and suspension for a year, just a walk in the park for him, and they added that Sarver should get a heavy punishment and I think once a racist will always be racist, and his punishment should be like the one the Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling got, and that is a lifetime ban, which would be fairly fitting for Sarver, but then they explained that Sarver's case is different with the Sterling case that is why they will have different punishment which is I definitely don't understand,

I can't say I really understand the difference either.  I guess maybe because Sterling was caught on tape?  Who knows...  I haven't had time to review the report yet, but it sounds like more of the Sterling nonsense like you said.  I did see something at a glance about inappropriate touching to male employees?  It seems like Sarver has some issues that aren't just rooted in racism.  I hope he is left with a sour taste in his mouth and explores selling the team.  As a businessman, he's got to see that the value is at an all time high and headed lower as this recession takes hold.  He should do everyone a favor, including himself, and sell the team.

Even CP3 has spoken about that issue and he said that he indeed think that the penalty is very light specially the suspension and there are lot of media criticizing Adam here and it seems it is going to be a challenge for him as a NBA commissioner. And slowly some notable players are also giving their opinion about the case, like Lebron. And yeah, this could meted a lifetime ban and maybe he will have to sell the team. He had a lot of black players and if he continues to be a a racist then there's no way that he should be allowed to own any sporting team for that matter.

Most of the players are black and racism is a big issue in the US, he is lucky that he only has a light punishment considering his financial status. I hope people will stop racism, this is not good, we have to be trained fairly as we are all humans, and we are not anymore living in the past.

snipped...
To be honest, I do not know what to advise you in this case. Yes, and I do not like to advise, as well as listen to other people's advice. But in this case, I support investments with Binance because I myself use this option. I consider it reliable because of the reputation of the exchange.
Well, that was because all of us have different market approaches. Some people will think that staking is a great opportunity to earn and yes, it was indeed profiting but not that much compared to trading. And the reason why some people couldn't make themselves confident of what to say for they have not even done this in real life or have less experience with this.
yes, I was using Binance as my staking platform and it was safe there. Choosing a reputable exchange really matter as we handed over them our money, our coins to stake.
2239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP potential? on: September 15, 2022, 10:33:56 AM
XRP hasn't high potential to get new ATH. A lot of news about XRP and SEC, but what we see: XRP owners just print news coins and sell them. XRP price get down 90% from the ATH and I think we will not see XRP higher than $1.3-$1.5 in 2023. There are a lot of more interesting altcoins at the moment.
Though I have no XRP accumulated this bear season, I have seen no chance that it hits another ATH when the bull season comes as there is always be. I just think about last 2021 and we all have not expected the surge that surprises everyone. In fact, even shitcoins have done too much and that is highly possible for XRP. I don't just look back and even considered the current condition of the market thinking what gonna happen next as certainly we never know this coming Bull season and most of us have faith for another ATH.

Many things are here which I learn from this forum but exactly I learn mostly from my life experiences, by practicing, getting loss, by  deceiving from anyone.

Not everything is here we can search more in all over the internet and can get more information, regarding the issue, which we are facing.

many things happen in our life because we apply what we learn in the forum. The good thing about this forum is not all about investment, people had also learned how to correct their mistakes and hear advice from the members who care about helping others. Spending our valuable time here really makes sense because from the moment we come in here and visit different sections we tend to get more useful information that seems applicable to us. Yes, of course, more information can be found on the internet and with reliable resources.
