2221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra USD, proved its not a stablecoin on: May 11, 2022, 08:21:59 AM
UST, together with Terra(Luna) both are dropping.

It's actually giving me some chills if I should buy Luna at this time because it's down to $4-$5. The ATH was $116 and that's afar price from what it is right now and it's all due to the UST thing.

UST is now $0.3 and I don't think that the Terra team will be able to get it back and pegged it again to a dollar. A lot of uncertainty that the market has right now so, I think I won't catch falling knives.
2222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 10, 2022, 11:06:56 PM
ESL One Stockholm major for Dota 2 is about to start on May 12.

https://liquipedia.net/dota2/ESL_One/Stockholm/2022

Matches are already in schedule and I think it's a good thing for us to analyze the two teams on which is favorable to bet and which is a good match to gamble based on its odds.

And if you think a team that is about to match with a weaker or underdog team, you take of that opportunity.
2223  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 10, 2022, 10:15:15 PM
I think I remember lucky bit.

There's no way to get back on it as most casinos are requiring now to pass onto their kyc verification as they're also being required by their locality.

The contribution that has been made by the old casinos not just to the market but also to the current situation of online gambling were huge. But change is constant.
2224  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 10, 2022, 08:55:41 PM
Saving is the best form of investment.
I was told that investment is the key, I took all my savings and invested, the investment became a scam and I returned to square one. Assuming I had the opportunity, I would have saved in bitcoin and leave it there.

I decided to use the language save, because I believe that people that got bitcoin when it was low and left it till today are saving. This is because bitcoin is a currency.
I agree about saving is also a form investment and giving you the discipline on how to handle your money properly. But even if you're a good saver but you lack of knowledge on the investment vehicles to put your money, you're likely to lose it all.

But learning it from the experience, I was also scammed before but it's not all of my money but that experience had taught me a lot of things on how to be wise with my money.

The difference is that a bitcoin hodler saves in a currency that has the tendency to appreciate rather than depreciate like fiat.
Now, the refined version of saving is to save in something that appreciates. Now I am a big fan of saving.
This is right, it appreciates and we all know the true potential of it because we have the idea and we've got knowledge based on it.
2225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies: Stay away and avoid all bounties! on: May 10, 2022, 07:53:49 PM
Have zero clue about these bounty campaigns but how much money could you realistically earn a month doing this now?
No exact amount.

It's just an incentive and you can't be sure if the project bounty you'll join is going to be successful. There's uncertainty on it if you're going to focus with it.

Much better to have a full time job while if you have some spare time then you can use it to join into those bounties that you think are safe and will become successful.

What about back then when it was popular?
Majority of them were good and successful but not anymore today and, the game has completely changed.
2226  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC be used as a world currency?? on: May 09, 2022, 07:09:42 PM
If it's just about unity, yes that's possible.

But we have to accept the reality that not all countries are going to be friendly with bitcoin. Just like what's with it right now, too bloody on the market and it seems negative to look at and there will be citizens that can't understand how it will work as a currency.

And for those countries that are looking at it as a legal tender, they're all free to adopt it but as we always knew, not everybody is going to be okay and happy with that adoption.
2227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies: Stay away and avoid all bounties! on: May 09, 2022, 05:15:34 PM
Just have that mindset that majority of the bounties are scams and you're just throwing your effort on it in the nowhere.

No offense but can you show me where to find a virtual assistant job without much competition? Honestly, I've been around Freelancer.com for a while but still can find such a job. Too much spammer which makes me exhausted from competing for a position
In most of the freelancing marketplaces, the competition for each job is very tough especially with the common virtual assistance. And to outstand with the others, you need to have more experiences and as well as quite competitive rates and skills.

Get out of freelancer.com, it has actually became a place for spammers and scammers. Try upwork.

This is the case that we used to see.

Yeah, maybe not really serious with their business or the lack of communication skills to address what should be fixed or just to be answered for those inquiries that have been brought.

It's an assurance if there's a representative, owner, or anyone who works for them to answer those questions clearly.

We have a lot of newcomers in this forum, and we know if a casino is serious or not by how they manage their site as well as their communication.
All of these casinos start from somewhere, but they differentiate each other on how they do business with the community.
Some are even offering lucrative bonuses or rewards, while others are offering race contests or art contests.
But most of the time, we can prove their sincerity once they established their niche and earn their reputation among gamblers.
It's good if they have attractive bonuses and promotions.

But what's the important matter is that they're hearing their customers and that's why some gamblers are going into casinos that has an active support.

So whenever they contact them, they're replying and that's making them aware that there's an existing problem that has to be answered and solved.
2229  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: May 08, 2022, 10:30:42 PM
Well, it has changed a lot.

Before I can save during paydays and that was a big help to me. But right now, I have to sacrifice some things that I like and won't buy them just to afford the other necessities that I need.

Inflation is rising and with the war, the oil has kept on increasing almost weekly and I think that it shall continue until the end of the year. When oil is the one that's being affected, all things are really going to increase and their cost will definitely hit the consumers like me and you.
Oil price increase is the big thing experienced throughout the world. When the transportation cost increases, automatically everything is getting increased. To overcome the ongoing oil price issue only way is to move to set renewable energy production. To the increase in the inflation, the governments were increasing the interest rates. By the time people should be provided with the increase in the salary. Governments and the corporate networks never take this into consideration.
Yeah, everything has increased.

Cargos, shipping and land transportation has been the first one that gets affected and everything they transport especially the goods and products, they're also going to increase.

That's how it goes.

And it doesn't look like there's a clue that it will be stopping or decreasing soon, there's really no way out of it until the war ends.
2230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of coin or token will be chosen and survive? on: May 08, 2022, 09:33:31 PM
There are many old coins that are likely to survive.

Unlike the new coins and new projects, they're unlikely to survive. Because that's what I've seen when the bear market has come on 2018. There were also a lot of new projects during that time.

But because of the bear market, many of them didn't got helped and survived.

For the old ones, if they keep on developing, if not they wont exist longer!
Well, many of the old ones have became no longer popular.

But the chance of the newer projects to survive is much lower than the older ones especially if they've got a hype. Still, there will be a remaining market cap that will be left on it just after being popular.

As you look at the most old ones, many are still at the top of it and you'll see most new projects are being ignored.

Welcome but disappointing just what others are addressing that you, OP had never replied to any single query in here. You need to improve your communication with your potential customers that would be interested to bet with this hi-lo game of yours.

Honestly, there are a lot of improvements needed to be done with this website. You might want to consult some experts on building up your UI and the casino itself.

Because he is not that serious with his project, I see already some user he asking a good  question and some are already thinking that his gambling site might be a scam or not safe to play with and if you are really serious about your site, then you are going to defend or explain it as soon as possible but the OP is not active anymore.
This is the case that we used to see.

New trends and new concepts are being introduced and some old coins cannot keep up with changing times, and those coins that cannot keep up lose their value and their position in the market, so it is your job to always check the value of the coin that you're holding and always keep updated, this will save you fortune and time.

2235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unregulated Trading Platforms on: May 06, 2022, 05:39:56 AM
Try to always do your research, avoid fake exchanges and make use of the most trusted platforms.
And do not be too scared to ask if an exchange you've just known is legit or not. No one will laugh at you upon questioning because it's very essential for a newbie to ask if he has no idea if that exchange is a scam or not.

Use sources like coingecko in checking if it's there and that's a good start for researching if that exchange is legitimate. And if it's not enough for you, just post on the right section and ask about its legitimacy.
2236  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: May 06, 2022, 03:59:49 AM
For a dice-only casino, bustadice is one of the best that I can say. I won't mention any other competitors that it had but you're free to research what's that.

For a casino with different games but is mostly focused on sports betting, playbetr. They've got an on going promo and contest in partnership with betcoin.
2237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $1.6 billion stolen in cryptocurrency 2022 first quarter 165% higher on: May 05, 2022, 12:12:33 PM
The rug pulling of many projects also contributes to the number and they're going to increase since we're just near to the half of this year.
The problem are those shithole scammers. Rug pulling is really a pandemic now on crypto and to avoid being rugged is to stay away from shitcoins and instead focus on trading. But I cant blame those guys who keeps degening. Imagine someone who bought a shitcoin meme of shib whom rich now. Probably he will still invest on new ones hoping to find the same gem he did. Only worse is not everybody are lucky to find that kind of gem and some increases losses instead.
There really are those lucky investors that got in early and they're able to make tons of money from those projects like shib.

Although, it's entirely different from those projects that are openly scam projects and really had the plan to rug and take the investors money. Well, those victims of those projects are going to be wiser this time.

Hopefully, they won't allow themselves to get back into those projects and get scammed again. Once is already enough.
2238  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed rate hikes too small to have real long term impact for the markets on: May 05, 2022, 10:07:22 AM
For real economy yes it will slow down but markets as stocks crypto fed rate hikes sounds like shake off the weak hands becouse now when investors hear about rate hikes tgey might many of them sell as panic.
Rate hikes are likely just shake down the weak hands
In relation to the crypto market.

It's speculative and when there news that are also affecting the other markets, some whales would their own moves that might affect the market. Although there's no direct impact but it's the whales move that shall move the market.

Yeah, it could really shake the weak hands and that's what we're seeing sometimes when the market is starting to plummet.
2239  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politics changes human mindset on: May 05, 2022, 08:10:21 AM
And the power that they have felt will mostly don't want to be gone to them, so they create policies and laws that are going to be in favor of them to retain power and wealth.

That's the reality of politics.

And it's hard to change and break the cycle when the same people and family are sitting in the authority.

Politics of dynasty is really hard to change in many countries including USA where Presidents from Bush and Kennedy families were elected many times in the past and they are still influential  to some extent  but in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh any many  Asian counties  is still happening. The problem with dynastic politics is that  it produces inferior quality of leadership, hinders development and becomes barrier to transfer of power to common men.
Yeah, it's the reality and keeps on happening.

There's no way to change it as the mindset of the people will still be the same as they'll call it, that whoever runs from the family. They'll think that they already have the experience and they're likeable by everyone.

It just keeps on happening again and again and to break it, you'll be the one targeted if you try to open the eyes of the people that they should vote and elect new politicians.
2240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 04, 2022, 04:07:27 PM
I don't think it should be banned, it should be virtualized.

I have seen in the past virtual horse races where you can bet. And this way no horse gets damaged or abused in this sport. I'm not sure if someone offers this game now. But it could be a nice project for big casinos like Roobet or Stake.
I like that idea.

Having it virtually will have the idea of no more stressing the horses and I've seen those virtual ones and even I've played with it. This is much better than those using real horses.

But there are the bettors that would think that this can be rigged since it's virtual but that's part of it, a very common thought.

the actual experience in horse betting is still different from the real one. and when you are in a horse racing stadium, you would definitely know the reason why. sometimes, it serves as meeting place of family members, friends, colleagues or business partners and enjoy the race. i don't think someone can be the reason to change this culture.
but if you are not up to outdoor race, virtual racing is indeed a good one to explore with, esp by casinos/bookies as we are limiting our interaction with other people during this pandemic era.
Well, it's an alternative and good solution for those that see the cruelty of betting on live horses.

It's true that the experience is different and you're going to see that the actual horse racing is more exciting than it. But you don't want to see that side that we're all agreeing that we don't like.
