2241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dont get sad over what could have been on: September 01, 2021, 11:14:24 PM
Well, not bad remembering the past as they could able to change you in the present time. Remembering those mistakes that we've been done before is a thing that could help to not be happening again. We never just to hook it up but to leave that as an example of why we should be more careful and increases our level of market understanding for this will be our ticker to make our trade really profiting. Otherwise, the same scenarios will have to experience.

~snip~
I can say coach Chot Reyes has done a solid job here in his comeback.
Pretty much, he doesn't look like he was out of coaching for years after leaving the PBA, and now he is back, he is again making the TNT a great team to watch. This break also gives enough time for Mikey Williams to find the chemistry so he can improve his game with that TNT.

We've seen Mikey Williams struggle in the past few games, it's just lucky for the TNT that they won the game.
2243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 01, 2021, 09:06:35 PM

Possibly could get it a little better but his shooting mechanics are terrible.  Dude is a good player on a good team that's the extent.  His vision rebounding and other basketball skills are definately plus.  If the kid could shoot he'd be a top 10 talent in the league.  Got the height to crush other guards.  Hope he figures it out

The free throw is the only problem, in terms of defense, he is very effective and he also has a good vision in the court as he has a good record on the assist. He is still young, I believe he will be able to develop his shooting, not necessarily to shoot 3s but his free throw has to be developed as he is aggressive on the floor and he can go inside the basket.

I was expecting him to improve more last season as if I remember it correctly he made his first three-point shot last season, the rally of sixers after acquiring Doc Rivers is great.

They've been a good contender during the regular season and Simmons is a good part of that rally. But he's been exposed during the playoffs, he's confidence to take the shots is being questioned, one time there's a possible open dunk but he passed the ball and lose that opportunity.

He needs to bring that same level of game; the coach needs to give him the confidence he's still young and a lot of things can still be learned from this sport.

That's the most unforgettable moment we have in that series, actually in the first few series where they dominated their opponent, Simons was contributing his usual I guess, but it's different with the Hawks series as they have a strategy to foul him everytime he had the ball and that probably has affected his confidence that every time he had the ball, he will just pass it as he does not trust his free throw shooting.
2244  Economy / Economics / Re: How to identify high-quality projects in the primary market? on: August 31, 2021, 11:03:51 PM
Identifying legit or real projects are very hard to do since most of the projects are scam. You would say that 99% of thise projects are scam and only 1% are legit. Sadly, some of those project are not scam but failed to survive that long.
That's unfortunate. It's easier to create crypto projects now than when ICOs are thriving; I see big whales teaming up for a project, but planning to go for a safe exit once the project reached its expected success. On the brighter side, most users considering weaker projects for short-term investing, projects with longevity potential are easier to identify once you see their operation. Basing on the original thread is a good starting ground to identify them.
More people become greedy as it was easy for them to create worthless projects, that is the truth here. That is very important why we should be more resourceful when it comes to investing and we have to carefully analyze the project, that certainly takes time and we need to do it due to a huge number of scam projects exists, the more we spend time doing this.
That is definitely hard to find High_Quality projects because some it looks promising but in the end, just like you've said, they'll do an exit scam.
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Prediction – Will ETH Hit $5,000 Soon? on: August 31, 2021, 10:35:53 PM
...

Conclusion
Ethereum has a bright future ahead of it in 2021. With ongoing developments happening within the ETH ecosystem and the overall crypto market, we may see ETH reach new heights.

We can't simply ignore such a possibility as we all know that ETH is one of the potentials and leading altcoins. As long as the Ethereum will sustain and provide a good product to its investors and traders, that absolutely it retains their trust and helps to encourage others to invest in ETH.
We can see the growing demand for ETH in the market, it was not just enough to push to move fast high but with that continuous improvement as it was shown, $5,000 is really reachable. We never knew when but probably it will come, maybe in the next Bullrun.

Only way this gets done is if Portland wants to scrap and rebuild
I agree with this.

Dame is still within his prime years so letting him go after what they've already built and how far they've come would all go to waste. It will take years again before they become a playoff contender if the trade pushes through.

Dame is their prime man, he is the Lebron James of the team,  there's no way he will be traded to anyone that is not better than him. I guess the point why we are talking about Blazers here is for them to acquire new players that could add their strength to be a better team especially in the playoffs where they struggled a lot. I can't even believe they lose against the Murray-less Nuggets last playoffs.
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 31, 2021, 08:26:53 PM
Fighting in front of your own crowd, that's adds up a lot and gives him confidence to KO his trash talking challenger.

And though I'm a fan of Casimero, I like to see how he would handle the pressure once fighting against the monster of Japan. if the news that is circulating is true, then we will likely see the fight in the last month of the year, and hopefully, they'll show some contract to ensure that everything is not just speculation.
2248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano KYC requirement or get locked out of your wallet? How is that possible? on: August 30, 2021, 11:41:54 PM
14:11 of this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag3vnsdqH0o&ab_channel=CoinBureau

If you have your cardano in say exodus or safepal or whatever wallet. How can Cardano lock you out of your wallet? They dont have the keys? Or do they?
Since you are using third-party services where you are allowed to store your coin Cardano, you are also allowing them to take control of it. That probably they ask KYC verification to give you account security which is mostly happening nowadays, I was been doing that as well to the other site. But if you care so much about your personal detail, the best option with that is to leave and let your Cardano left there.
We understand the situation this time that many illegal activities going to happen and this also a reason to trace someone who does such activities and reported to the authorities.
2249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: August 29, 2021, 10:56:50 PM
Back in 2017, the topic of stablecoins like Tether completely crashing to $0. Is Tether still safe to hold your funds on?
It is the same asking "if Bitcoin will crash to $0?"
I couldn't remember that stablecoins had become $0 market value last 2017, maybe those shitcoins, not USDT, BUSD, and other stable coins.

if ever I miss that thing but in this time, I have no doubt that it will happen again. I mean, the market is growing, many traders are using Tether as trading pairs to BTC and altcoins. And for that high demand, it surely becomes impossible that it losses again its value.
2250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: August 29, 2021, 10:27:28 PM
I just want to share this. When I first learned about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, I also shared it to my friends and told to my family members about it but they didn't believe me and they thought that it was just a scam.

Yes its the same with me too . they even thought I was gambling with the lure of trading. Yes indeed everyone has a different vision and view of everything. they need evidence and mainstream stuff to recognize something. while in the past crypto was only for a part of the internet user community and more for the "geek" person. now crypto has been recognized as a trading asset globally.

As we are more exposed to the internet, in gadgets during this pandemic period, the more we heard about Bitcoin. It has become hot and many send their interest in the trade as many people are saying it was profitable stuff. But I could just say maybe as it for sure it never works for others. But we can't deny also that this thinks helps for many individuals who have the capabilities and some just consider this as a pure investment.
2251  Economy / Economics / Re: The reason to hodl bitcoin on: August 27, 2021, 09:56:31 PM
keep choosing Bitcoin, for me now the presence of Bitcoin is like the emergence of the internet in its early days.  only 11 years after Bitcoin was born.  because I admire the technology that underlies Bitcoin, blockchain.  do not want to just be spectators in the development of new technology.  by having bitcoin even a little, I can be proud.  maybe in the future bitcoin really can be a solution among the world's economic solutions
Even today, i already see bitcoin as our answer to the current economic problems. Its just that the government is not on its side but who knows in the future? Everything will eventually be learned and so lets give the government more time before it finally legalize the usage of bitcoin not merely as an investment alone but definitely its main goal as a currency.

I understand that majority of us are hodling bitcoin for pure profits. But things might change in the future. Bitcoin will not just a profitable investment but also a good reserved currency. And definitely i'm hodling for both reasons. Its just that i have strong faith in bitcoin and i think the community itself too.
2252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the most bullish altcoin of the week? on: August 27, 2021, 09:37:59 PM
Everyone is waiting for this to happen. If a bull altcoin market occurs this week I recommend that you choose only the top altcoins that already have a good portfolio, seeing the movement continue to increase so you can conclude that there will be a bullish altcoin in the near future but this is only just a little correction
The market is now starting to be bullish so we'll expect that aside from bitcoin and ethereum, other potential altcoins too will definitely come up surging. This is not new already because it will always be the trend if bitcoin becomes bullish, then it will eventually create a positive impact on the rest of the altcoins.

But it will be a different story for those altcoins with no potentials. They will be left behind as long as there is no do demand for them. So invest only in those coins you are optimistic with and i think ethereum is just on the right track. The demand is definitely huge so it will always be worth the investment.
2253  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: August 27, 2021, 09:15:06 PM
those who panic to sell bitcoin, maybe they are not mentally ready to enter the crypto world, because most of them are still weak, and are still too easy to believe in people's negative posts about bitcoin, they don't have a fixed stance, maybe from that factor they panic and immediately sell their bitcoin when the price is unstable.

Those who panic are usually newbies without a proper mindset. They usually see Bitcoin as a shortcut to success and that they expect a lot of profit from it not knowing how to deal with the volatility of the market. Bitcoin doesn't have a stable price and anything could happen anytime so panicking and holding without patience could really lead to losses.
Panic selling will just make your investment fall into losses so if we can still handle the pressure, then stay calm and be patient for the sake of future profits. Although panic selling sometimes becomes inevitable but the more we do it, the more chances we will lose all what we have started.

Even myself still fall into panic selling sometimes especially if some emergency cases suddenly arise but as much as i can do, i will never push through it and still think panic selling should not be our last resort. We can lend money to some friends if badly needed but selling our hard earned coins is not really worth doing.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 27, 2021, 08:34:30 PM
I'm just thinking of the worse outcome that can happen when they let go this venue for their products because there are other leagues that if they jump in, for sure it's going to blow out and will also become popular. Wherever the players are, fans and customers will follow so these two tycoons will be jumping in for whatever they like if they see it's no longer profitable and beneficial for them. But yeah, this is far from happening and we can just think of the worst possible thing to come but right now, as long as the league continues, everything's good.

Just the same, as long as the league continues and these two business tycoons still taking part in the game will continue to bring entertainment to all the fans and viewers. All possibilities are there and indeed, if they both don't see any advantages to their business, they can easily switch to other leagues.

So far it's not what we are seeing and they are still enjoying whatever help the league is bringing to their businesses, and that's good for now since we will enjoy their help even in this time of pandemic season.

If they are not worried about the future of the PBA, I think announcing that they have incurred big losses during the last bubble does not help. I mean, it will not make the players confident of the future of the PBA since they know that one day it would affect their income while the pandemic is still here. As mentioned before, they'll find the opportunity to play abroad just like other Filipino superstars have done already, and more so now that the South Korea basketball league is also willing to accept Filipino players.
2255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 27, 2021, 08:11:47 PM
NBA rumors I’m seeing today… Kevin Love may be a possible buyout candidate and if so the Lakers would be a strong suitor for LeBron’s ex teammate. I’m also hearing that the Bulls are looking to sign DeMarcus Cousins to a deal. They’ve been making some good offseason moves and I think that team might make some waves this coming season.
Cousins has a little impact on any team he would play, but Kevin Love would be huge for the Lakers and that would again increase their chances of winning the championship again. Kevin Love's career in the NBA is going down, but if he will play with Lebron again and is surrounded by many star players, he does not have to play longer minutes and he might not be easily injured, this is good news.
2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I wrong? on: August 27, 2021, 04:00:50 PM
I have invested in #btc and altcoin as DIVI, ADA it is time to know and invest
Bitcoin and Cardano are still very wise and good choices because Bitcoin and Cardano have had very good and very healthy developments this year, but for DIVI I am still a little doubtful about their potential.
Yes, Cardano has also market potentials and ADA as well but Bitcoin seems to be more promising and really has great returns. I choose BTC, instead.

Well, I have to choose BNB and ETH in order to spread my funds. But putting a huge chunk on Bitcoin of our total capital is the smartest idea to take, I'd never find it risky than to have altcoins at all.

But anyway, it can't tell who is right and who is wrong as investing depends on individual discretion.
2257  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pacquiao vs Ugas rematch on: August 27, 2021, 02:06:20 PM
I lose my bet on their fight and though I believe that Manny may have suffered a leg cramp but I'm not anymore confident on betting on him to win the match. However, I might change my mind if Manny will be listed as the underdog and I find it attractive to put money.

In my mind now, I believe he could win or he could lose, it's 50/50 chances for me, and I also believe that the rematch is better than the first fight.

You won't be able to win back your previous loss if you will not bet again, lol. Anyway, what matters is what you feel, don't force yourself in betting a fight that you are not 100% confident in, it will haunt you when you lose. Manny Pacquiao is an old man but a legend, and as long as he can accept punishment from his opponent, he would still go for a fight since he makes millions of dollars in every fight, but if he loses in a rematch, there's no reason for him to fight again.
2258  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: August 26, 2021, 11:01:26 PM
snipped~

You have taken the wrong step, even though bitcoin is in a good trend at the moment in the market, this shows that there is no risk of holding bitcoin all the time, although in general you have not suffered big losses, but I think you have wasted a good opportunity at this time .

Altcoins also don't matter if we invest, even more perfect if we can also use bitcoin simultaneously in investing with altcoins, if one of them is problematic, then there are other coins that can provide good returns, that's why bitcoin and altcoins need to be invested simultaneously .

You should never sell bitcoin and always think to accumulate them. The future is of bitcoins and i believe that those who do not have bitcoin will be left behind.
You can trade or sell your altcoins but always keep on holding bitcoins.
But I really don't think that it was needed for us to keep on holding forever because we can't assure that Bitcoin will ever stay forever or if the price will stay strong and growing. I'm not against holding but sometimes we also have to reconsider some instances that might cause us failure and big losses. Like if I bought Bitcoin at $30k and sell them at $40k, that was an absolute profit, right? if you are not a greedy person, it is certainly good enough, IMO.
2259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What risks will you get in investing during the COVID-19 pandemic? on: August 26, 2021, 10:31:09 PM

Then, is investing in cryptocurrency safe enough, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic?

What is your opinion about whether or not there is a risk involved in investing during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Not likely that this pandemic may cause panic and worries for us. In fact, we've been in this situation for more than a year and look, everything is okay and the market is very healthy and growing. If you can imagine that we've been in new ATH during this pandemic this will tells us that this has a positive impact on crypto rather than negative. So therefore to say that instead of thinking negative this time, it is much better to think the opposite as this is not the reason for the cryptocurrencies to stop growing.
2260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: August 26, 2021, 09:34:54 PM

Paul is a professional boxer. Last November, he knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson.
He recently signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime Sports. I wish him new spectacular victories!

Come on, Paul is just some guy from youtube who thinks he can box. He only had 3 matches and none of his opponents had boxing experience... The same applies for this new fight as Woodley is also coming from the UFC.
Probably Paul will win again, but this new win would also not mean anything.

That's the expectation because he is currently the favorite on the betting sites. If we think Paul can't box, then he should be the underdog.. which is more appealing to look, a YouTuber becoming a boxer, or a UFC becoming a boxer?

right now, we can't consider paul as a professional boxer. maybe he can box but not yet in the professional level. but with another drama involving Woodley's mom having argument from Paul's team , this fight might really be sold off in no time. if they are creating so much noise here, paul/woodley will really be popular in attracting fans to watch this exhibition fight more than those professional bouts. lol
All of the fights of Jake Paul have attracted a lot of fans, and as long as he keeps that undefeated record, he will always gain the support of his followers not only in his youtube channel but in the sports of boxing. You know, for a nonprofessional fighter, this guy can box and he even put a retired NBA player to sleep, so I would say he has the power and the ability in boxing.
