Guys,
A bit OT. What would be the best graphics card to mine DRK coin? There is a huge debate on Nvidia beating the Shit out of AMD recently. I was seriously thinking of getting an AMD, but now i am having second thoughts. In your opinion what would be the best graphics card to mine DRK (an indication of the hash rates would be the icing on the cake)? I am on a bit of a budget, so i am looking at graphics cards below $150 at this stage, but if the indicated hash rate is very high for some of the others, i may consider! The PSU on my system is 300W, so it will have to be a card that i can use without having to change over the PSU.

I still think this coin can take off. VC just needs some marketing. With a name like Virtual Coin, there can be many uses for it. It's like the "general" cryptocurrency. Dev should hit up bittrex so we can get some action in.  |

I think it's more of they don't want DRK prices to go AWOL before making the official announcement. Indeed. It sounds like they're planning to add it but not officially announcing yet just in case something bad happens to change their minds between now and switch-on. |

I picked up a 100% POS coin. Sorry if this approach bothers you, but I will make every claim as honestly and clearly as I can. I do not want to build Dream into a hype balloon. Hype is air and air deflates. I hope you will get a sense for what my strategy is for dream. I want for Dreamcoin to be made up of real investors and a real community not fly by night dump when it hot and bail. I am not catering to this. Not in the slightest. Looking at the DRM rich list, there's still quite a bit of large stacks. Looks like many dreamers are not willing to sell their dreams off for cheap. What we need is the Dream Pool. Remember this.   |

Dreamers. I have to agree with Johnny, our Dev. MyFarm's project is a great idea and he has good intentions. However, to solely base DRM as a farm and garden coin would eventually kill it. Everyone has different dreams but all dreams require money to fulfill. Dreamcoin should be a coin that can help anyone accomplish their dreams regardless of what it is. I think the Dev's idea of a Dream Vacation is a great promo and would attract many new Dreamers. Maybe instead of setting a destination. The winner could receive a gift certificate through expedia.com or orbitz.com I am pretty sure those websites are accessible worldwide and have all major international airlines. Acebenson mention his concern of the raffle could be fixed. My suggestion to this is to only allow 500 or less tickets to be sold. Raffle does not happen until all tickets are sold. Give it like a 90 day expiration and if all tickets are not sold by then. Refunds will be issued. Then for the actual raffle. The drawing will be live via youtube live streaming and each of the 500 tickets will be shown on camera and put in a basket or whatever. Then a winner will be drawn live on youtube. How does that sound dev and dreamers? It was not my goal to exclude anybody. However it is not my dream of ambition to run lawn and garden coin. The Dream vacation is just a promotion not a focal point.
I had absolutely no problem with the community working towards Myfarms project as on of the causes. He wanted it to be the focus. I do not believe that to be every bodies dream. I wouldn't have felt comfortable leading that mission so i offered him to lead that mission with community consent. I grew up in Arizona where zeroscape is kind I have little personal interest in gardening. I have little in that field to bring to the table and no desire to make that a large priority in my life.
I hope this is understandable.
Dreamcoin should cover multiple dreams not just one.

You know sometimes I wonder why you post some of the things you do. Just saying...... There are others purchasing as well, and new people coming on board. Thats a fact and not an assumption. And the current Dreamcoin homepage is fine. No need to change to a .com. I agree, lately CS has been making nonsense posts. Nothing beneficial to DRM or the DRM community. |
