I downloaded cgminer-4.9.1.windows.zip from http://kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/ but can someone tell me how to use it proper? I have put my pool in the conf like "url" : "url1:8332", "user" : "user1", "pass" : "pass1" but i dont see my GPU when i open with cgminer -n Kind Regards CG Miner doesn't support GPU's. You really don't want to mine bitcoins with GPU's anymore, anyway. You can spend $20 on a USB stick miner that will run circles around a GPU, and it will work with cgminer.

"trust with extreme caution!"
Remove "extreme "? Remove "trust" and "with" and "caution", too. The warning text is totally unnecessary. Everyone should be trusted with caution, that is the default human behaviour. Even some people's own family will try to rip them off. Provide a trust/feedback "score" and I'll determine what to do with it, I don't need the text.

I know the radiation deflection has been FCC certified but no backing for claims in improved reception...
Agreed, I never saw an improvement in reception or transmission. But more importantly, knowing the radiation redirection is proven, I never saw a degradation of signal, either.

I just need to work out how to control luck It's there in the code somewhere, keep digging! Well...What the hell....try a restart @48hr...can't hurt? Oh, heck, it's all luck! No 'Magic Mike'. Bawaaaha. All i can say is Quantum calculations... My quantum calculations are going great, they are simultaneously a complete success and I have not started them. I would let you observe my work, but...

With existing technology you could fill the universe with computers
I'm interested in such a technology. He's saying that if the universe was filled with computers at today's technology level, it still wouldn't be enough computing power.

Just wondering what you guys think was this just a project that he made whilst being drunk in univeristy and decided to release it and it caught on fast or did he know that it was going to get this big?
Obviously it was not a drunk idea. Considering coin generation will end some time around 2140, it's safe to assume Bitcoin was expected to be around for a long, long time.

I'm in favor of a system as simple as what eBay has set up. Positive/negative, with feedback history readily visible. Easy to use, easy to understand, and not quite so arcane as this forum's "default trust" system. Which, I've never really understood, because I don't ever trust anything "by default". Trust is earned one user at a time.

Congratulations to the solo club for their first block!
SR-71 i don't know, maybe the image is just not powerful enough. The ck solo club (original) is actively engaged. OK maybe not for you or your world, but for mine and some nine other guys. Maybe just me but I find image pretty intimidating. When I look at it the first thing that comes to mind is "that jet is 30+ years old and discontinued; it's old technology". Still fast as hell, but old. I do not feel intimidated, nor inspired, and I definitely don't equate it with solving blocks! SR-71 is 50+ years old. Heh, well 50 is > 30, and I did say 30+... I knew it was old, but not quite that old!

Please don't read this as "are we there yet?", but I was wondering if there is an ETA for the S2 and S3 cgminer updates? Even if it's months out, I was just curious. Thanks in advance.

So far with v.10 and v.10.1 I've had to resync the entire blockchain. I bet with v.10.2 I'll be doing it yet again...

I'll jump in on this one:
-0.76 to -1 (I think is the right boundaries)
I picked that already, 2 posts up.

only Satoshi can do that.
Are you saying Satoshi was able to increase activity? Please go into more details if that is what you mean. I had not heard of this before. I have a bridge I would like to sell you, right after you help me with this Nigerian Prince friend of mine.

I didn't think the Hawks would come out of the last round. LeBron has carried teams to the finals before, I think he's going to do it again.
Only to lose to Golden State.

Just now I restarted my miner in CG since the U3 had gone zombie and it cleared the bunk contribution to the global average display. Next time I will try just resetting stats and see if that fixes it, too.

I'll take -0.76% to -1.00%, thanks.

They are in the direction of push to force more air over the heatsink. They are 252CFM fans I bought from newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835706015&cm_re=252_cfm_case_fan-_-35-706-015-_-Product They are very loud, but bring the temps to around a constant 35C - 45C running at 325MHZ. Ive never seen any of them hit 50C . I want to extend the life of these as much as possible. When I put my hand behind one of the cubes the heat feels like a hairdryer on "high". That tells me massive heat is being removed, and heat is the #1 killer of electronics. Vegas Very nice setup! Not like you need the extra heat in Vegas...
