2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hodl ether ? on: September 13, 2018, 12:52:21 PM
i think this is best choice for now, becouse price is only 170$ and have big pottential, but its your risk (hold or sell) and choose yourself
In any case, it is better to invest today than to sell. Nevertheless, on the assurances of the team until the end of 2018, new technologies will be applied to scale the block chain. This will improve the attractiveness of investments in the airspace and make a better market for ico companies.

Well selling eth is out of the question. There's no worse time to sell than when your coin is way below in value. Aside from keeping steady with your eth, good time to buy at a really cheap rate as well.
2262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will become zero value? on: September 13, 2018, 12:50:06 PM
only Time can answer correctly, whether the price can go up or even can be $ 0, I don't think maybe the ETH price can reach $ 0 Because all altcoins depend on ETH.

In the latest years we have seen that a lot of ICOs decide to hold their project and ICO on the Ethereum network. In my opinion is the chance low that Ethereum will hit zero as value.

No it will not going to zero value unless if all people here are don't want to invest again on ethereum. Look at the situation of ethereum the price are slightly increased but we're not sure if it's continue. The market is in the dip and ethereum is most affected but I believe it will rising again.

Well ethereum is pretty much an established coin already so even though there will be downtimes like what's happening now, all it is is opportunity for people to take advantage of. The entire market hasn't been performing well so far so there's no need to be concerned about eth reaching no value.
2263  Economy / Economics / Re: People are not motivated by money. on: September 12, 2018, 07:04:25 PM
I always hear the argument for capitalism "B bb BUT people won't innovate without the profit motive" WRONG

Humans want to solve problems, create, and innovate, they do not need money to motivate them.  Cavemen were painting art 20,000 years ago without the desire of money.

True scientists like Tesla, he didn't care about money it was about the pursuit of science.

Capitalism does not cause innovation, most new technology is found by government programs like nasa (internet, smartphones, etc)

Well we all know what happened to tesla and some noble innovationists who didn't really care about the money. They unfortunately got the bad end of it by those that are after money and power. Sad reality and it's still happening today.
2264  Economy / Economics / Re: Be Creative and Earn on: September 12, 2018, 07:01:57 PM
Just happened across an article from May 2018 about a street artist who is earning crypto from his
Graffiti work by placing a QR code for people to send rewards - great idea! >
http://cryptotimes.org/bitcoin/street-artist-nets-1000-bitcoin-qr-codes-murals/

https://www.pboy-art.com/biographie

This goes to show there are many ways to earn crypto and the lesson is to be creative and think
outside the box. We can all earn crypto legitimately if we put our minds to the task and market
the idea.

Im just throwing it out there but I would love to read a part fiction/part historical novel about the
creation of Bitcon and Satoshi Nakamoto

Yes, you are totally right about that. We can also need to be creative if we want to save more bitcoin. As of now, you can do whatever you want  in Bitcoin, But we will also advising all of them to used this thing properly because I do not know we can also have a bank .

Well that's unique, especially with the growing community of crypto userd today, supporters would probably take time to send btc to the creatice guy. And this'll give an idea to others also that it's a broad market out there  and your imagination can take you quite far
2265  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin investing on: September 12, 2018, 06:03:43 PM
If you earn enough to pay your bills and you all months put some money at savings well you can apply part of those money into bitcoin, and well wait one day bitcoin will be with a big value than the current one and you can proof with it knowing the risk involved is high but profit can be high as well.

Yeah that's one of the most prederable scenarios where in you won't have to compromise constant earnings for crypto. Consider it as your savings and learn to forget about it for a while when you invest in it. Looking at your investment's movement every now and then isn't really a good idea.
2266  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: September 12, 2018, 06:01:49 PM
Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?

Well I think if you are aware of it you must have to be more careful, stop the easy go lucky attitude in his platform, cause hackers nowadays were very genius when it comes to technology, and if you are a vig fish they will o anything to catch you, be observant on the ads or links that was being send to you, dont be so easy when it comes to investing and giving personal info.
Yes, sometimes hackers also work behind a system screen, making users trust hackers, by providing multiple sites that can guarantee victims, but all depend on users, users must have sharp research so as not to fall into the hands of hackers.

Well if you think about it, nothing is really safe from hackers and that goes beyond crypto especially diligent ones. I really think wallets in general are safe unless you get careless with it so you need to secure your coins in one and take care of your private information.
2267  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if another cryptocurrency took Bitcoins place in Market Cap? on: September 12, 2018, 05:59:16 PM
In that case, that coin would really have a good potential. I cannot see any new coin that can replace bitcoin yet. As we all know, a lot of people already trusted bitcoin and they consider it as the main currency because it's the first cryptocurrency to become very successful and bring convenience to everyone.
I agree with your opinion, no one can change the position of Bitcoin, in the whole world Bitcoin is number 1, it has become the trust of all people for the use of bitcoin, which has a long term.

A lot of coins in the market can surpass bitcoin when it comes to potential and use but bitcoin's popularity and it's reputation as the coin that started it all will most likely secure it's spot in the top. It would likely remain there for a good number of years more until crypto becomes mainstream.
2268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PURPOSE OF TOKEN? on: September 12, 2018, 05:56:00 PM
the token will continue to exist as long as the ico of the project continues to run and the token is just an alternative to bitcoin and tetep being altcoin and will not be able to replace bitcoin. so people can choose bitcoin or altcoin as an investment and others.
Token is the reward that we get from the bounty campaign and it also exit as long as their are bounty campaigns and different kinds of ICO. Token is the alternative bitcoin that is rewarded in bounty campaign.

Well same goes with a lot of new products outside crypto. Tokens are promotions to draw interest anf support from would be users and investors since a lot of people like freebies.
2269  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you think the market is down right now? on: September 12, 2018, 05:53:50 PM
It is the nature of the Cryptomarket. It goes up and it goes down as well. Many investors or shall we see the newbies on the thread are being panic because of the wrong information. Cryptomarket needs right now is a massive buy order to get the increase. Hope it will increase again later, nothing to worry about this.

Yeah but there will be people who will panic and drag others along further influencing the price decline. Though i think that's one of the natural factors that moves this market. We can't really do anything to prevent it.
2270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: September 12, 2018, 05:46:42 PM
Well, that did not occur to me. I was more terrified on doing my bets and just end up losing. It is really just a matter of coincidence and it does not matter if it is just your first time playing because you will be lucky if it's really your lucky day or your lucky game.
I believe it all depends on chances or pure luck. But based on my first gamble experience,i think i was lucky that time because i had gained a little profit more than what i lose so i did not gamble anymore and went home.I know for sure that i will only lose them all if i cannot overcome the greed in me.

Same goes with me, knowing that the first time I join gambling and I won, I can't stop myself from betting again and again but as always lossing cannot be avoided.
It's the time when you become addicted into gambling. First win on gambling will makes you want to bet more in the future, even if you quit for a while, sometimes you will feel want to bet again.

Well i also believe it is pure coincidence but it probably happens quite often so people have coined out that term. And it does promote gambling to new people
2271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are online gambling games fixed? on: September 12, 2018, 05:43:55 PM
I think not all sports gambling can be consider as fixed. I am playing sports gambling for a long long time. even my more interest is in sports gambling, for most of the time I found sports gambling very fair and even make a lot of money from it. Therefore I do not think that sports gambling are always fixed.

Same as me, till now i have not faced such an issue like games being fixed.
I would just called them rather rigid.
What is generally important is to utilize gambling platforms with very good reputation for those who may want to gamble. There are some gambling platforms that are bad eggs and they are just there to fix their site in their favor even if they claim it is provably fair and those are the scam ones. However, for reputable ones, there is what the call provably fair with the usage of some mathematical algorithm to control the bets.
Well, you could test the provably fair of different sites. Try to read this one https://dicesites.com/provably-fair
The easy way is just to check if there are a lot of players playing and continues to, then that's the best way to see if it's fair.
A lot of people really do not understand the whole idea behind provably fair but the issue is that once they lose, they start assuming things are manipulated. This is gambling and it is a game of luck and really, there is absolutely no way anyone would want to invest their funds in creating a gambling site and want to run out in losses later on as it is a business for them. In this case, people should expect things would always be in favor of the owners at the end of it all but that does not make it less fair.

Well i think one thing we should understand is that there are people with the means and influence to manipulate anything and these will go to great lengths to exercise that advantage over others. So im not saying most online gambling games are rigged but they can be
2272  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: September 12, 2018, 05:32:25 PM
This is the war of knowledge, those skilled people behind an exchanges are defends their exchanges and those hackers are try to attack. The smarter people will be win. I think most of the defenders are smarter than the attackers.
Absolutely correct that defenders is the most smarter than attackers. That's why I believe that hackers will fail to steal others peoples money from an good exchange.

Well we  can'y expect all smart people to simply play by the rules if they have the wits to outthink it. There will always be people like this and the longer people are exposed to crypto, the smarter these hackers will get
2273  Economy / Economics / Re: LIFE GOES ON. on: September 12, 2018, 05:30:27 PM
Looking at the present state of the market, it could be very disheartening. But one thing is certain is that blockchain technology has come to change our society. And Crytocurrency which runs on the blockchain will continue to wax stronger and stronger, stay above fear. Life surely goes on with or without the enemies of crypto.
yes crypto people must be able to survive in this situation, if crypto people can survive then I'm sure in the future it will be better.

Lol. Real crypto believers don't really concern that much over the short term happenings in the community. With a rum like that in december, this besr market is somewhat expected though it took longer. The market will bounce back in it's own time.
2274  Economy / Economics / Re: Good news or bad news... on: September 12, 2018, 05:27:53 PM
Japanese Ministry of Finance is going to prepare rules for cross-border transfers of digital money

The Ministry of Finance of Japan is going to prepare in the near future rules for the foreign transfer of digital money.

According to the report of the newspaper Nihon Keizai on April 5, the Ministry of Finance plans to introduce rules under which notice to the authorities should be strictly mandatory if the cost of transferring money for a foreign transfer is more than 30 million yen.

It is said that the decision of the Ministry of Finance will facilitate the consideration of the real situation with operations abroad and is designed to curb money laundering operations.

Dear friend,
I thought this would be great news and appealing if it is true. The digital money is recognized by the Japanese government will be the premise to it's widely recognized worldwide. Then it will end the historical mission of the current physical currency.

Right. If it feels like bad news for anyone, they're likely more concerned about their anonymitt rather than crypto's future. These kind of regulations are essential if you ask me, to get the majority to have confidence in our market.
2275  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin affect world trade? on: September 12, 2018, 05:25:11 PM
Is there a role for Bitcoin in international trade? Have you heard of a trade between two countries?
And will it be in the future?
Yes bitcoin really affect the altcoins.
And i think stock exchange doesn't  affect much .
We really don't know the flow of the market for now because all of them re falling

Of course at this point, not yet. The community is probably not big enough to affect anything at a world stage. Even the december run last year probably only took people's attention towards bitcoin but didn't affect anything in a national level.
2276  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: September 12, 2018, 05:22:11 PM
I know it gave us opportunity to earn money and sometimes,it gain bigger profit than your salary, but that doesn't mean that you have to quit your job.We can not assure that it'll remain forever, although we want to. so i thinks Integrating the two is the best thing, we can not live by relying on the uncertainty of the digital currency (crypto)
right, let's just say job on cryptocurrency is a bonus. and real work continues to run, if i have to choose one, i don't think it will balance our lives. but there are also those who have survived by working on cryptocurrency
And those who have survived that you say, they are extremely disoriented and depressed at this moment because the way they make money is almost locked, they have no income and only live on what is left after the disaster. They and many others will probably recognize a lesson that is very expensive, this lesson is that life will need a real job to stabilize, full time in crypto is just a stupid choice and makes things harder

Yeah and though some people live solely on trading  i don't think that will work for everybody. And there will be many occassions where in we need tobhave proof that we actually pay taxes, so either a normal job or a business or any constant source of income is important.
2277  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: September 11, 2018, 06:50:57 PM
Now that more and more countries are starting to go cashless (http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20180427-does-a-cashless-society-benefit-everyone), is it possible that we also start converting to cryptocurrency? If that happens, what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages? Paying virtually is very convenient for me as I do not have to bring cash and it prevents petty theft but what is the disadvantage?

Every creation had advantage and disadvantage .So cryptocurrency is similar to this. Cryptocurrency had huge advantage and some disadvantage. Advantage is your are free from lockers and money storage .You can store your entire earning in terms of cryptocurrency in your single wallet.Disadvantage of cryptocurrency is hacking issues. Some of the people are claiming, their wallet is hacked. You should secure your wallet with two factor authentication.

Well more countries adopt cashless options probably but i don't think a lot would go entirely cashless. If they do, they have to be pretty established that majority of thelir population can use digital money. Of course going pure cashless has it's benefits but there's also some downsides to consider.
2278  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there manipulation of sharks ? on: September 11, 2018, 06:46:20 PM
Yes.
Sharks are given to price manipulation.
They manipulate price by putting more money into buying a particular coin which pushes up the price of that coin for their own selfish gains.

As long as they think that we can be controlled, this is what they expect, but I am sure that if users are patient and do not panic then their goals will fail, I always suggest being patient when the market drop.

Your are right about patience, this is what we need during days like these. We must understand that when we sell our coins at low we sell them to the speculators who will be selling the same coins but at higher price later either to us or to people like us. Although I think that when we sell we don't contribute to the price dropping because sharks have much more coins than all of us combined, I still think we shouldn't do that, because in such a way we make them, sharks and whales, richer, while what we need is the opposite. We need that all of those people sold their coins eventually, and stopped manipulating the market.

Well not everyone can react patiently or calmly to a sudden drop or increase in a coin's value that's why these people who have the means to manipulate the market will always do so. Fuds from dumps and fomo on pumps will always make many people react crazily.
2279  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: September 11, 2018, 06:43:05 PM
Low price of Bitcoins will attract new people to join the rally, now that a lot more people can afford to buy a ''Full Bitcoin''
Although the value of bitcoin is now very down at the moment, we can still consider it as a good thing for some people specially for those who are just starting on investing. Investments while the price is low are the best as time passes by and the price grows back again. We should grab this opportunity to buy and start making the most from it.

Well not all people would think of it that way though. Low price btc coming from a high of almost 20k would make people think of how this market can swing drastically and if you're not used to fluctuations like that, it can be quite discouraging
2280  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting With Nothing in Bitcoin on: September 11, 2018, 06:39:19 PM
I am starting with bitcoin nothing, I try joined free website to get and earn much altcoin or bitcoin. but its not instant and I have many time for receiving altcoin from free website faucet. I try step by step and trade with altcoin getting from free website for investment.

It's a good way to start though not very efficient since it'll take you a lot of time to accumulate btc or even alts through faucets and free tokens. Especially now that campaigns aren't paying as much as they were a year or two ago..
