1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's the real price? on: January 10, 2019, 03:17:57 PM
Currently we have BTC at $ 3,730 on cryptocompare (https://www.cryptocompare.com/)
And BTC at $3,674 on preev (http://preev.com/)

Which one is the most reliable? An average of the prices?
Bitcoin is just like any other thing in the world, if you want to to buy a car you will realize there are several prices for the very same model and the same is true for bitcoin, different exchanges have different prices at any given time and all of those prices are real, if you are a trader make sure to buy from the exchange that has the lowest value so you can buy more bitcoin.

Yeah most of the prices indicated in established exchanges are often reliable though they don't have the same price. Though i don't recommend buying from one exchange then selling on another. Fees would likely level the difference and you might lose a good opportunity while transfers are being done.
1362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will SEC never approve Bitcoin ETF? on: January 10, 2019, 01:56:01 PM
Just read an article in reddit.com.It says that the SEC has not approved ETF as it thinks that unidentifiable people could influence the market. If such manipulation occurs,SEC wishes them to be identified.

So will there never be an SEC approved bitcoin ETF?

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/99n8g3/in_case_you_didnt_read_it_the_sec_disapproved_the/

I strongly believe so.
They have a good reason for the delay.
But talking about approving it, they surely will

Well  i don't even think we should be concerned over whether it'll be approved or not lol. For me it's going to have very minimal shirt term effect regardless if it's approved or denied. Bitcoin doesn't need etf.
1363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dilemma of the year: Crypto Security on: January 10, 2019, 01:53:21 PM
No one can guarantee security in the digital world, no matter how many people handle it because the system must have the strongest weaknesses that can be broken into.
The right step in my opinion is to save on cold storage even though I don't guarantee this.
The world does not need to worry about security because experts must have tried their best to improve system security, even the fiat currency cannot be guaranteed security.

Well you can't worry about security all the time. An individual can only do much since it'll be extremely difficult to prevent a determined hacker from getting to your assets. Thankfully i don't think there are enough of them to pinpoint me out of all other people with bigger wallets.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy bitcoin because it won't be fine on: January 10, 2019, 01:48:50 PM
That's your opinion but my opinion even I don't have enough money to buy bitcoin I will choose to believe that it will rise again. Did you know that recovery is real? In due time bitcoin and altcoins will recover again no matter what will happen in the market. It takes time before it will happen.
Indeed, at this time Bitcoin is not good, but I agree with you that Bitcoin is still very trustworthy, it will return to rise and will take over its heyday and will be followed for all altcoins to be excited too. need to be optimistic about this and I still believe that Bitcoin will return back in its heyday.

Well even now btc transactions are showing really good speed with less fees so taking the price aside for a while, i think bitcoin is starting to perform what it's really meant to do. The price will adjust with adoption and i think it'll come.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible sending BTC without a transaction fee? on: January 10, 2019, 01:46:14 PM
Nope this can't happen, good question though but it can't be free transactions around here and don't think of the miners being greedy about this because they are just doing their jobs, once transactions are being connected they will take out a very small portion depending also with the amount of BTC that you have sent

Yeah how would you expect the miners, who basically make transactions work, make money to sustain what they're doing. And it'll be difficult to find any alternatives for them given mining's requirements.
1366  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yearly All Time Lows For BTC on: January 10, 2019, 01:42:02 PM
2012 - $4
2013 - $65
2014 - $200
2015 - $185
2016 - $365
2017 - $780
2018 - $3200

Puts a lot into perspective.
My friends always blame themselves for not risking 1k$ for buying bitcoin five years ago. I recommend to get in now while it is cheap but they keep arguing with false arguments. I am sure they will feel bad when i call them at the end of year Wink

Well at least they can't blame you when they feel regret over missing out something big lol. Who knows, they may be able to do some resesrch themselves before btc rallies. You can only do so much for non believers dude.
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cannot Die. It is Impossible. Under Any Circumstances. on: January 10, 2019, 01:30:18 PM
You are right bitcoin will never die under any circumstances, we can see from the beginning of bitcoin created there are many times that makes bitcoin pass the circumstance until right now, so we should believe that bitcoin will never die under any circumstance

Whoops. I don't quite agree with that though. I also am really positive about btc's future but saying that it can't die under any circumstance is pushing our confidence towards arrogance. A lot of circumstances, physical, economical, national security, etc, can take our beloved crypto down.
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple and undeniable proof that Bitcoin is a scam on: January 10, 2019, 01:27:40 PM
Do you think banks are always the biggest trap in the world? Altcoins are headquartered and officially operated. Why be scared and worried that it is a scam? You can see that the way and operation of Crypto are the same, trading activities depend on trading. I believe Bitcoin is not a scam.

Well the so called "proofs" Can be seen in a lot of different perspectives. And people who against bitcoin may very well find a lot of these to draw others away from btc. But people who have been dealing with bitcoin for a long time now know that it's anything but a scam
1369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Do You Think 2019 Will Be Different? on: January 10, 2019, 01:25:16 PM
Hoping for a major recovery not only with BTC and ETH but also with these tokens I purchased  Undecided
2019- I would be content with $ 10,000 BTC and $ 500 ETH.
years difference will be different every year experiencing changes like the weather climate every year so I think the positive and negative bitcoin every year is different

^ lol what?! Who knows. So far january's not showing any signs of a reverseing trend lol. We can only hope and speculate but btc's movement will be on it's own or what the whales decide it to be.
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the right time to explain about bitcoin to others..? on: January 10, 2019, 01:23:23 PM
now the market value is dull and the price of bitcoin is also low and is at loss ...so iam asking that if i explain now about the bitcoin they may think as a scam...
If you do not show any proof that you earn money from bitcoin they may think it as a scam but it is not a scam and tell to them that bitcoin is very good kind of investment. However, if you introduce at this current rate of market it depend to the people if he will invest or not. You should explain it in every detailed so they will get interested on it. You should also tell to them that this time is the good time to buy and invest in bitcoin.

At the moment yeah, it's about showing proofs. And also, with the 2018 decline, it'll be extremely hard to convince people about btc and it's features for easier transactions. Probably best to just wait and let them figure it out themselves.
1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if? on: January 10, 2019, 01:20:31 PM
Nothing.

Bitcoin market is independent and it doesn't depending if satoshi really comes from Japan, America or any country. It depends on supply and demand so it won't really give that effect that you are thinking right now.

Are you thinking that each citizen of America will start investing to bitcoin if they find out that Satoshi Nakamoto's citizenship is US'? no. It won't do anything different.

Fully agree with this statement.
Taking it a stop further, I think we would see decline in price in Satoshi came forward as an American citizen.
There would be much speculation about why he had been in hiding for this long, as why he was not around to help with his input during all these forks.
The price of BTC and other cryptos has taken such a bad hit that I doubt if he was a real person, it wouldnt matter where he was from.

Lol yeah. I won't care. Actually i wouldn't even have thought about that aspect had this thread not shown up lol. And there's really no reason why people should care as well since doesn't affect bitcoin's functions.
1372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the options for the future? on: January 10, 2019, 12:48:18 PM
i think government will accept cryto. i always find new advantage project to invest. i hope one day i gonna rich
the wishes and expectations that you convey are very common that are said by crypto currency investors and in my opinion confidence and patience are the most important capital for that matter

Well it won't hurt to put in practical thinking along with your confidence and patience. For there will be a whole lot of options to be presented in the years to come with crypto but for me, just be logical with all the decisions you make. Think carefully about what the outcome of your decision may be.
1373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Bitcoin is good, but don't depent on it. on: January 10, 2019, 12:45:10 PM
I think there will come a time when people who have dedicated themselves to the crypto market in the past will be able to make cryptocurrency a full-time job. At the moment, it is risky to try to earn your existence only from cryptocurrency. The market is fluctuating, but I think Bitcoin will be a means of payment in many countries around the world and its fluctuation will not be so great anymore. I hope that in the future and ICO SCAM or projects without potential will be quickly removed, and efficiency on the crypto market will be better.

Well, many people have made trading their full time job and they are doing it successfully. Trading with bitcoins/altcoins is not scam at all but the thing is that you are fully skilled before you start this. Also note that earning with bitcoin is far better as the prices tend to rise quickly and you can get a lot of money for your earned coins.

Well many are doing so but a lot more who tried end up realizing they made the wrong decision. It's a gamble that personally i don't think i'd be willing to make. I tried for a couple of months and though there's profit, it can't be depended on espescially if you have constant expenses.
1374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for those who love Bitcoin on: January 10, 2019, 12:40:57 PM
With bitcoin going down certainly being good news and investors can gather quickly, this is a good moment to be used.
Indeed, the current price of bitcoin seems stable and prices can be affordable.
Actually we can look from positive side in a case, with this cheap price, investor can buy it and everyone can get much bitcoin with money they have. Of course we must use free money on that. But if people keep to look on negative side, they will always angry about it.

Well there's always 2 ways to look at things. It's just that it's quite difficult to look at it positively after a whole year of being beaten by bears. Obviously this should be a good time to buy at low rates but people mainly see it as a challenge that btc can go from 19k to 3k in a year.
1375  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's up with bitcoin ? on: January 10, 2019, 12:38:42 PM
in my opinion it is not only bitcoin that has decreased even all crypto currency coins have also decreased very drastically we can only hope that bitcoin and crypto currencies will increase in the future

Well i think these coins will have their time one way or another. Like for now we're seeing a bull run for tron that saw it breach 800 sats from 500 sats just days ago. Bitcoin will eventually regain steam, and those who have the patience to wait will reap a good reward. Hopefully lol
1376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TROUBLED, PANIC ? READ THIS on: January 03, 2019, 03:56:13 PM
i have read your thread analysis and i am really admire and yes you are right and we know that market will be ok very soon.people trust bitcoin thats why they are buying.

Investors have trust and believed in bitcoin it will recover in the market very soon. It's better now to collect more coins and hold and invest it cause one day you're investment it grows in high profitable income.
This analysis is indeed very interesting, and hopefully it can be good news for bitcoin holders who still doubt the future of Bitcoin, so they don't panic, because in the world of commerce there are always people who come and go, so if we don't survive, the lucky ones are people who remain loyal with their commitment to continue to collect bitcoin at very cheap prices.
The key to rising prices is adoption, and adoption continues in crypto, why do many people still doubt the future of Bitcoin in panic
too much? what you sell when prices are low because panic will make you regret in the future dude

They're seeing their money dwindle down and they're not prepared fot it. That's why people panic. And you can't blame them since it's just human emotions that ignites this. Not everyone has the same mindset as you.
1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All bankers hate BTC, am I right? on: January 03, 2019, 03:51:16 PM
Some bankers hate but most of the bankers like bitcoin as i know from my personal experience by communication with me. They are trying to learn about blockchain technology, bitcoin and other coins. Banking sectors are trying to involve with blockchain in their banking transactions.
I don't think that all banks hate bitcoin, because I've seen several banks support the development of bitcoin, even some banks collaborate with projects that smell like cryptocurrency. well, however, it can be ascertained that some banks do hate bitcoin.

Well it can't be helped. Old school bankers will always be wary of bitcoin since it'll be hard to incorporate btc's decentralized features to what these banks are used to. And banks need control over our money so they'd likely prefer that btc doesn't move forward.
1378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoin seem to always rally in December? on: January 03, 2019, 01:38:56 PM
Always on December become bad moment for bitcoin holder, maybe we still remember last year of December bitcoin growing up, but bad time for this December bitcoin still drop.
This maybe because of festive season but not huge price increase happened anyway so its just like people's thought and if everyone having this means the prices will go up literally.NO definite time frame for the prices to increase sometimes it is happening in December and some other time it starts with 2nd half and few times with the beginning of year.

Well that was one hell of a rally if ever there was lol. We've gotten pretty complacent about the price going up during the last quarter of the year that many expected a strong recovery.  We've forgotten how the market likes to go the opposite side of people's expectations.
1379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Question] What will happened to Bitcoin if there's no miner? on: January 03, 2019, 01:35:23 PM
assuming that there are NO MINERS - Transactions wont get confirmed and the blockchain will stay inactive until such time someone’s gpu with the bitcoin blockchain starts hashing again and the cycle continues from where it left off.

Yeah things will get pretty stagnant with people opting to just hold on and keep their bitcoins instead. That's why i think that whales won't allow the price to plummet deeper that the miners would all just cease or shift to another coin.
1380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: January 03, 2019, 01:31:59 PM
I remember buying some BTC when Bitcoin was at its highest, but that doesn't say much.
I've been buying Bitcoin almost every week, since around 2013, so naturally I also buy when the price is high.

When I buy Bitcoin, it's not just for holding it, I also use part of it.
Whenever I buy food online, I pay with Bitcoin and I used to be able to buy call credit with Bitcoin, but they removed that option.
I never did buy any during that time, as it was like the scary phase for me now to do so for obvious reasons, but same applies for the sells since the scared factor of missing the highest would happen that time. It was one heck of a history of a price for Bitcoin. To be honest, I never got to sell my Bitcoins since I wasn't fully established on how would I take my founds out of my wallet. Mining fees around, not during, that time was like twice on what I was about to sell.

We've all had stories like that last year and it's a bitter lesson, let's just charge it to experience. Those that bought in close to ath are all ptobably out of the market right now with a few, like the other dude, just living through the losses.
