1661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is so positive (100% HODL) on: December 09, 2018, 01:53:23 PM
Actually, It was my mistake when I didn't recognize the right moment to sell (at least I sold alts).

But now.. so close to strongest support level 3k, after 1 month of the continuous dump, what is the point to sell? Risk/reward is weak.

I believe things will be better soon.

Do you have any other indicators other than those positive news? There is no big money entering the market and I think people who have left the market because of this bear market may not be interested in this market anymore, especially the newcomers.

Well they may be disinterested but i'm sure these people will rush to get back when they see a reversal. It may only take a group of whales to decide to turn the market around and when that happens, you'll see people again flocking to crypto.
1662  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [VIDEO] - Bitcoin $3000 or $1800 By December 2018 ? on: December 09, 2018, 01:50:21 PM
Just as it happens in 2013 many people did not care about what happened in the market again. If bitcoin like let it goes down to $50 is going to recover again. I seriously believe that cryptocurrencies market is the future of our financial market and it is good we should start to build this hope in the many of investors and people. Bitcoin going down to $3000 or $1800 is possible in December but how this is going to Happen is in the future.

Whichever happens there, it seems that the bottom hasn't been hit yet lol. I remember how people are.putting btc in such high regard exactly this time a yesr ago where you can see it almost in every news. It seems like a very long time ago now.
1663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: December 08, 2018, 05:10:19 PM
suddenly it made sense to sell even at $4000
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcoin

That's why it really depends on how you look at your lost. Going back to 15% lose, I would say that its not a good thing to sell because we all know that the market is very volatile and a swing of 15% regain is very common. So it really depends on a lot of factor specially how you look at your investments, whether short or long, just saying.

Disastrous for those going short. 15% is painful already, what more for an 80% negative. Though i doubt many could've expected how the market plunged to these levels recently. Most of us are expecting a recovery instead of this.
1664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the most reliable? on: December 08, 2018, 04:53:03 PM
Friends tell me, please. Binance, Bittrex, Exmo, Kraken: what is the best, in terms of convenience and the most important reliability?
Which one do you prefer?
I do believe the said exchanges has deep connection with its traders and already gathered trust since they are operating for a long time but among that exchanges i would go for binance since it is the most known now because of its rapid growth from its launched time. I believe that binance is the biggest exchange of cryptocurrency right now, no doubt because of its characteristics.

Among the four, binance and bittrex are the ones i've tried and i'm familiar trading on. I'm not sure about kraken and exmo but the first two i'm sure will have a lot of support from traders then and now.
1665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges will survive? on: December 08, 2018, 04:49:53 PM
Many exchanges haven't been fair with their dealings with customers, so it is highly likely that they wouldn't survive for long. In my opinion, exchanges such as Binance, Bittrex, Poloniex and KuCoin will definitely survive for long.

Well even these exchanges you're talking about that's not being fair with their customers have a lot of dealings still. And they're drawing in a lot of money regardless of the market's state. Establishes and old exchanges have a higher survival rate than new ones since they already have their own folowing.
1666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I think it is a good time for the crypto sphere on: December 08, 2018, 04:46:57 PM
This prices will defo kill many shitcoins, only the strong ones will persevere and we get them at sale prices!!

Indeed, there's a good chance that many weak projects will die off.
Probably many new projects / ICOs are waiting for better times before launching.

However, as soon as the money will flow in again, the ICOs will flourish again (good or bad), shitcoins will be created again, so on the long term the current state doesn't really change anything...

Who knows. What happened between last year and this year was an eye opener for all of us inside crypto and those that are looking to get in. We're seeing first hand how volatile this market is an probably people will be more intelligent when they enter the market.
1667  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't sell your bitcoin expert warn. on: December 07, 2018, 05:59:13 PM
I don't see the reason any one will sell his coins after waiting for the price to drop from 10k to 4k. Keep holding and forget about it till about 2 years time and you can come back to see it surge.

Lol. Easy to say dude very hard to practice. Many of us can't afford to wait that long for our assets. And some fuds, if you think about it, are not just some random blabbers but have charts and ta's to back it up.
1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bleeding Again on: December 07, 2018, 05:57:08 PM
Actually I feel very confused about the current market situation because it is very difficult for us to be able to predict what will happen next. I am currently choosing to remain silent and only monitor market movements.

The market might be very bad right now but it will not be the same right? The problem is we need to wait for few more days that's it. A lot of people are spreading FUD to buy coins from Panic sellers, hold your coins and wait patiently till the price increase.

Lol. Your few more days could end up in weeks and even months dude. We may be better off forgetting about crypto for a while to rid ourselves of stressing out over what's going on.
1669  Economy / Speculation / Re: The best time to invest is now. on: December 07, 2018, 05:53:50 PM
Good thinking if I start investing now, I agree with that, but what becomes a cyrptocurrency problem that will be chosen as an investment, I think to choose bitcoin or altcoin for research first, because if you choose wrong it will suffer losses. and will lose a lot of money.

Lol. A lot of people are already in that category dude. For people who can't wait too long, it's a huge loss. For people who anticipated this kind of scenarios, they still have a chance if the market recovers. Though that may take months. Oh how cold this christmas must be 😑
1670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys calm down and relax. Its going to be fine. on: December 07, 2018, 05:43:23 PM
I think we don't need to be panic because many of us are still believe that market will alright again. Actually many of us buy in high price but still they calm and wait a great price in the market.
Obviously, patience is the right choice for this bearish market because all the crytocurrencies are down in current trend so If we have money we will buy more crypto in this downtrend. But majority of the investors are stay away in crypto investment so we should trying to buy more bitcoin in this scenario it will help our future.
If everyone panicked back in the days of MtGox, no one will possibly be holding bitcoin till date. One thing a lot of people should understand is that this is a market and as far as a market is concerned, it is something you just have to accept the fact that there will always be short term and even long term fluctuations, but for a market with potentials, this is something you should not be worrying yourself too much about. We are all in it for the future, and we are still very early which means one thing, the future is not here yet. So, rather than panic, use the opportunity that the market brings now to your own advantage in the future.

The problem is that there are those who can't afford to wait this out. This bear season has bled a lot of people dry, so much that they'd rather not have anything to do with crypto anymore. If you can afford to hold on for months then you have your chance. If not, well, charge it to experience.
1671  Economy / Speculation / Re: December 2018: Is this a good time to enter bitcoin if you have cash? on: December 07, 2018, 05:30:59 PM
Why not?as we can see the bitcoin price is $3650 so it will good to buy now if you have cash and wait a bull run so you can get great profit from.bitcoin. Don't wait that the bitcoin reach high price that you can't afford so grab the opportunity now as long you can afford it.
I might not do it now. well, maybe for some people this is an opportunity, but I am waiting for a pretty good news before returning to the opportunity to collect enough bitcoin. well, but you might have other choices, because many people say that 2019 will be a backlash.

Lol. For those expressing disappointment of not being given a chance to buy btc during it's early days, well this is your chance 🤣 though it's not bad to observe a little more since most indicators point to further bottoms for this year. That's cheaper coins for you.
1672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Dumping, What can we do ? on: December 07, 2018, 05:27:24 PM
Hodl, hodl, hodl... If the market is dumping what can we do? Panicking ourself and others will not give a solution right. Don't see the CMC for a while atleast you will feel free for few days, there are a lot people who are spreading FUD's here let them take advantage of this moment.

Well i'd probably say the ssme a few dsys ago when btc was around 4.5 to 5k though it seems we haven't seen the bottom yet. This is a dilemma for traders. Hodl if you can hold for months. If not, well, you have a very bitter pill to swallow.
1673  Economy / Speculation / Re: i used to be bitcoiner like you but i took an arrow in the brain on: December 07, 2018, 05:15:44 PM

it is either i buy it for dirt cheap like those  who bought it in 2016, for less than 1000$, or wait for the trend to change and join the bulls. to make money you need to JOIN THE TREND, NOT FIGHT IT. buying now is fighting against the trend, if you win, you win BIG , but the odds are against you.

again, do whatever you feel like doing. and good luck

This guy gets it. Unless you are a great trader, these movements are noise. See you in the $2000s and beyond Wink

Well sadly, it seems we're headed that direction towards the end of this year. What a way to end 2018 eh? An entire year where bears are active and the bulls seem to do the hibernating. Perhaps i'll do the same until this is over lol
1674  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin IS in a bubble on: December 07, 2018, 05:11:57 PM
Yet another worst scenario of the year for BTC, the market was okay till it went to $5k but crypto has changed its intention this time and want to give a scare for everyone who have Invested in this. Being strong still and have faith in BTC.

Lol. Detractors are having the time of their lives now saying "i told you so" 😆 the decline was sudden and steep and i don't think many were expecting it. The bubble popped, but i'm waiting for it to be inflated again.
1675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prediction to hit 100,000$ on: December 07, 2018, 05:08:11 PM
Yes i think bitcoin can reach that value, but i think we can see that price so soon, maybe in 2-3 years and also i think we need more people to join and also bitcoin to be used in more sites as a option for payment.

I do not think Bitcoin will reach $100k in 2 to  3 years time.   Remember there should be a breakthrough for Bitcoin to achieve this price.  With its current situation and how "fast" the development is, and considering its scalability, probably at least a decade to achieve this price.  It is a very long time wait so be ready with your patience  Grin.

I don't know how big a breakthrough is needed for btc to reach those heights. Obviously right now people are not in the mood to talk about such figures lol. It would take considerable amount of patience for us to even get to 10k 😁
1676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Will Likely Fall to $1,500: Bloomberg Analyst on: December 07, 2018, 05:04:29 PM
I wonder if the nocoiners are having absolute fun when they report marginal FUD like that. Don't they understand that $1500 per coin is literally better and more attractive for potential investors?
Unless if those people who do report FUD are the investors itself.  Grin

How can I forget? WHY did I forget? Hahaha. Yes! They are the whale-cumulators. They order their minions to report FUD, and manipulate the price lower themselves, until the plebs are capitulated from the market. When they are done accumulating, watch them hail Bitcoin as the currency of the "new" economy. Cool

Lol. If you observe the noisy ones, they pop up seasonally. You're right that these people are probably linked to whales trying to scare others into selling. Of course if you don't have as much coins as whales do, this market movement would hurt. This is where your backup plan should kick in so you can put your attention somewhere else.
1677  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin have you bought under $4000 on this dip? on: December 07, 2018, 04:59:11 PM
Better question would be how much have you shorted above 4K?

I'm 18 BTC short at $6600

Lol. Sadly, i haven't shorted any of my coins, both btc and ether 🤑 it's not a good feeling to see your capital dwindle down this quick but i've gotten this far already so i'm going long with everything. It's do or die for me 😅
1678  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN is right now 3300 USD - Etherum 80 USD... Where is the bottom? on: December 07, 2018, 04:56:01 PM
I think the bitcoin can go to 2000$ and ETH to 30$ but this is only my opinion. Anyway i will buy some and hold for long term if the grow will not start so soon. I don't know who is playing with the price or if this is a real cashout from crypto, but whales are buying now and fill their bags.

It doesn't seem so. If whales are already buying this dip then we should be able to see a little upward movement that could even start a run. However none like that is happening. Eth is more of an eyesore to look at. I'm looking to hold long term but i feel for those who got caught in this bear market.
1679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Falling Down? Is it The end ? on: December 07, 2018, 01:33:31 PM
Yow guys, just an hour bitcoin price drop nearly $700 is this the end, or is it just taking its time to pump so hard, or will we wait a years like what happened before ?

I see that now all investors have completely lost hope and this is absolutely normal. We should wait, maybe push close. The market of crypto-currencies and bitcoin in this number can not collapse for good so quickly
This situation is indeed very sad and also scary for many people. Bitcoin is a crypto that is used by many people, if we want to support the development of Bitcoin, then use Bitcoin. With the increasing number of demand factors, it will get better with the direction of the increasingly positive Bitcoin movement. Let's develop together and support it together.

Problem is that there's not enough of us who are willing to use btc. It's seen as an asset for trading and when the price decided to suddenly plunge, people panic. And this has happened already before so saying this is the end isn't very helpful.
1680  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC delays decision on ETF again on: December 07, 2018, 01:29:08 PM
is there anybody left who is actually waiting for SEC's decision about ETFs? i seriously doubt that. people have been burnt by SEC enough times that they already know that the approval is not going to happen or at least the chances of it are so minuscule that they don't matter at all.
not to mention that ETF is not going to do anything for bitcoin really!

It' all psychological i think. People probably believe an approval will save the market and pull the value up. What they don't realize is what you said. There' a chance that etf will be denied and those that anticipated to be saved would likely end up panic selling with huge losses.
