Those positive news in the market as of now doesn't reflect any good result instead the market goes down but we should also analyze the positive chances in this bear market. Buy at low then the remain is history.
at least market confidence rise alot when we see postive news.it could give us little hope about bitcoin price in future. at first quarter 2019 we will see many positive news to cryptocurrency market,and it comes from large investors.such as BAKKT trading launched and etf decision. we hope this fundamental news could give direct impact to cryptocurrency price.so no more investors worry about their investment value in future. Probably the launch of BAKKT would be the biggest draw for a bull run next year same as when futures were launched but we need volume accumulation to even think about that. This year is done. if we hold for avoid losses it could be good decision.but if we hold for long term investment it better decision.cryptocurrency still early stages so its normal its price still cheap. Right. Zoom out and look at the bigger picture. The last multiple times the shorts looked this much, both recouped about half of the fall previously. Which returns us at about 4.9k tops previously we go down once more. Accepting the cycle rehashes. Clearly this won't occur in a couple of days. Yeah can't be determined yet since we're too close to the holidays. We could be staying under 4k until the year ends where real movement may commence. One thing bugging me is that we were stable around the 6k range for more than a month and the next movement was a steep decline. |

Read about experiences of other traders aside from learning fundamentals and don't be afraid to lose. |

Both at Christmas and after Christmas, I don't think we will see a difference in BTC prices, maybe BTC Bull will be available in 2019. Because until now, we have never seen the presence of signs for its growth. Still there are people hoping for an end of the year bull eh? Well there's no harm with that itks just that all points indicate that there's very low possibility of that happening. Just look at the day by day volume. And people have other things to spend their money on during holidays than buying bitcoin. |

I'm with Bitcoin for a five years now and I've seen better but also worse time so I don't have intention to give up. Also, Bitcoin isn't for me only the value of price and profit but also a way of life.
I beleive there are more similar users like me who have the similar view on whole situation so Bitcoin will not lose all supporters.
Spot on. I don't think all btc users see it only as a short term money making tool. With the way things are going today, obviously it's not lol. But i'm in for the long until probably btc becomes really stable and can be used as a transactional tool without hesitation. |

in my opinion, this December will have the same cycle with December 2017, so that BTC will fall again to $ 1500.
If the price drops to $1500 then most miners will shut down their machines and we will see all time low difficulty. Mining is almost profitable with the current price. Difficulty wouldn't be anywhere near its all time low. It will never reach that level again because of how efficient mining has become. The hashing power of new hardware dwarfs that of the early days when people were mining with their CPU. It won't but miners would likely move to other more profitable coins to mine if btc continues to drop dramatically. It's not cheap to maintain these rigs and they have options to move to other coins until btc goes back to work. |

This expectations for Bitcoin to suddenly rise in 2019 sounds similar to me like expectations that Bitcoin price will reach 20000$ again at the end of this year.
I also believe that at some point in the next year the price will recover but it's very hard to tell when this exactly will happen and in want range. What I want to say is that people shouldn't expect too much in too short period of time. By that time try not to accumulate loss that is not necessary.
I definitely agree dude. Too much expectations especially since the past few years the last quarter of each year have been quite fruitful. Very few expected this decline so few were probably emotiobally prepared. Please don't make the same mistake for 2019 |

Disappointment is human nature if what is targeted is not achieved, such as the crypto market is getting down and it makes a lot of people disappointed. To avoid disappointment in crypto investment is to invest as much as we can to lose, crypto is risky and if it cannot accept losses, then do not over-invest.
These happen when expectations are not met. If you're not expecting a bull run any time soon, then an extended bear market wouldn't have come as that much of a surprise. And you could've in a way prepared for it as well. Managing expectations avoid disappointments most of the time. |

it sounds like you assume $3k will break? why would three digits be inevitable? volume (lack of coins to sell) will probably stop it from going that far either.
the way so many bears expect triple digits now makes me seriously question that forecast. it's starting to feel like the double digit forecasts in 2015 when we were hanging around the $200s.
I dont want to sound conspirational, but I think some whales are trying to destroy people's trust in bitcoin. These whales are shorting it in a way that seems artificial, forced. Nothing on it looks like panic-selling. It dropped too fast in a single month, and some people said November was the worst month in years. So I guess they will try to force a sub-3k price. Sub 3k or even sub 2k can happen but probably not below 1k. 1$ overnight would likely see it bounce instantly with people panic buying bitcoin and a massive bull run would make those that were able to buy at that point rich. |

Bobby Lee's prediction is silly,but what about John McAfee?  Where is he and is he going to keep his weird promise? Good question. People dont talk about him anymore. People don't talk about him anymore because all of the dumb money that actually listened to him has long upped and left. He'll come back to relevance in a couple of years, or whenever the next bull run is in full swing. Probably with his manhood in tact, not because of his prediction being right however  Lol who would believe he actually meant to eat his own weiner. The price cannot fall forever at some point those that have money like the whales will decide that it is enough and they will begin to buy bitcoin once again, we do not know what price they are looking for but it cannot be much lower than what we are already seeing as most of those that wanted to sell their coins probably already did it and there are not huge numbers of them anymore in the market. I agree with you there dude. At some point, the trend will reverse. Though it's not something that would continuously propel us back to a new ath. I don't believe we'll have ath soon. But definitely once the bottom is hit recovery may be swift especially if it bottoms out at a very low price. |

I'll be thrilled to have money to spare because if I had that I'll have no doubt that I will invest everything in bitcoin unfortunately that is not the case and I'm probably missing one of the best opportunities that I could have to obtain bitcoin for a reasonable price, I'm hoping this is going to change soon but I do not know if the price will still be as low as it is right now.
Well who knows. You just might get your wish. Many think this isn't the end of this bear trend and we may very well continue until probably the start of 2019. You may even be able to buy at a lower price than now. |

Some people just want to see those prices because they want to see bitcoin failing or because they are mad that they missed on the opportunity of buying bitcoin when it was really cheap and they want to have that opportunity again, but even if the price went that low I am sure that all of those that are asking for such prices will be too afraid to buy it if that happened. If they've regretted not getting btc at low prices then the current situations presents itself as a good oppotunity. Though i agree that these people won't even make a move. Probably just spewing out negative information trying to sound like they know a lot lol. |

I dont know how high it will go but that is how low it will go. Just a humble call made purely via pattern extrapolation. Since you so strongly believe it will not happen, that is exactly why it's going to happen. I have no further arguments.
This is a very strange way of thinking, to my mind. I do not think that Bitcoin will ever fall so low as it is supported by those ones who have invested a lot into it. The price can fluctuate for a long time, however. Really? There's a big chance that by tomorrow we'd hit 3k already. I think today we touched 3.1k so what makes you think that 3k can't be met. I doubt that there will be any reversals since people would put more attention towards the coming holidays. |

Bitcoin has always repeated history. It had always come back.
bitcoin definitely has the long term trend on its side. i'm a trend trader so i'll keep betting that trend. but you should keep in mind that every trend eventually ends. bitcoin has been in a bullish cycle for almost 10 years. eventually it'll enter a long term bearish/correction cycle and we won't be seeing new ATHs every few years. I don't think we should really dwell historically when expecting the movementd though. It only has 2 ways to go, up or down, bear and bull. It's not history repeating itself, it's the market moving either of the two ways it follows. If a decline like this can happen, pretty much it can also go the other way around. |

Unfortunately we can only hope. The price is still dropping though and we've come close to 3k today. That's more than half the value a month ago when btc was steadily hovering around 6.5k. It's going to be a big problem for short term traders if it does go below 2k |

This is considerable cheap and if you are going to invest, you should trust and be optimistic that price will go up and can have a new ATH soon, 3, 4, 5 years, no one knows. You may need to hold it for now. day by day bitcoin price sets to the floor, and I think it is better to enter and bought bitcoin when the price seems to start to have a good price comeback again, yes we all dont know what would be the next atleast we can buy bitcoin as long as the market is still at low.
Hey if it bottoms out at 2.5k and you bought in at 3.2k, it's not a bad deal. The price isn't going to stay at these lower levels you know. You just have to make sure that the amount you'll use is something you can hold onto for some time. |
