Bitcoin and Dogecoin have been most successful in crowdfunding efforts thus far.

I agree with most of things already stated but somehow I do not like this prolonged period of stagnation. I agree this is great a sing of market stabilization but what I do not understand is how it is possible that the price stay at the same level when we see lots of new users/miners/investors every day, creating additional demand for BTC. We all know that the quantity of BTC supplied to the market is more less the same since difficulty has been adjusting constantly to accommodate this. So, we have been having 140ish BTC added to the market every hour and the supply constantly goes up, why is the price stagnant? Why do I have a feeling someone has been dumping BTC for a long time, thus suppressing the price. Gox anyone?
Only investors create additional demand, miners actually create supply unless they don't sell what they have mined. The price is stagnant because demand = supply. Simple as that. Someone sure is dumping BTC, but someone is also buying. No clear winners right now, so only time will tell if bulls or bears win.

In 3-4 weeks, but slow rise, don't expect fireworks until at least September.

I first overwrote v4 over my v3 installation, it didn't work, said 'can't open the database'. Had to do a new install of v4 and restored wallet from the seed, that worked like a charm.
Question: will there be a simple overwrite kind of upgrade in the future, so that the database doesn't have to be synced each time?

What about anonimity? A crypto without full anonimity is a waste of time.
For those concerned about anonymity there is Dark Wallet for Bitcoin, and NXT also has plans to implement coin mixing as far as I know. So that aspect is covered or will be covered in those two in the near future.

More 'cypruses' on the way.

They would have banned it by now if they could. But they can't. I mean, what would they do, throw people in prison for using bitcoin? Even there this would be ridiculous and raise a lot of questions, and actually would popularize bitcoin. Anything less than that is not enough to stop people using it. And even that sort of countermeasure wouldn't cut it in the long run.

doge the ganglam style of the crytpo world, people will be over it soon enough.
nxt innovation for innovation sake (yet nothing actually new or innovative at all), features no one wants or needs, and started in the worst possible way distribution wise.
I'm not against alts just none u mention makes the grade for any longterm investment.
litecoin is a no brainer, survived many waves of alts over recent years but still strongly on top, pegged now to btc and pretty much indifferent to its challengers.
Well, thank you for your comments, I could argue with you, but not in the mood and this has been debated too many times now to the point of being boring ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

You should just dump everything except Bitcoin and dogecoin cause they're the only two with any real promise.
You mean NXT doesn't hold any real promise? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

If you want you must to buy it .... But now no exchange have list this coin.
Yeah, but the IPO is over, how do I buy it if it's not on any exchange? I'd trade some doges for it. Also how many people invested in the IPO? I see some people are still sending bitcoins today to the IPO bitcoin address. Is IPO still going on?
