fully agree, as I am just an investor (shareholder) and taking care of parts of the marketing, i didn't monitor the thread all the time. Now, as i know about this issue, i am jumping in and will do my best, to solve this information gap. I will also get this thread monitored properly. hold on Matthias . small update, to let yo know, that i am around for you, From indirect contact i know his unavailability has to to more with his personal Internet, however, then with any staisybits systemic problems. We checked our own deposit addresses and can confirm that those are untouched. So i assume it to be more an unpleasant communication gap, witch i will, you can be sure of that, get solved as son as i get to talk to him. I don't accept a company profile like that and will take personally care, that there will be a customer care concept like you deserve. Why did i hold back with good news and why will I release them today?1) Its not only big news, its also a big witepaper and i nearly needed 2-3 weeks to get through it, to understand enough, to tell you about everything.
(I can't grasp, how anybody could have done all that work, i have discovered so far, just mind-blowing)
2) there has been so much going on recently, that i wanted to not only prevent wasting momentum (of course also the case), but even more,
not to waste developers dedication. I sometimes feel, our enthusiasm and aim for progress may otherwise end up in some kind mass-news-consuming.
But taken into account, that some, of our efforts (especially the cloud staking feature) are not advancing as fast as i have been promised
and have been promising YOU, holding back, has been a bright decision and on the same time plain stupid in terms of sitting here and waiting ...
That's why i am currently writing the announcement and will publish everything in the next few hours.

i will write some words about my vision here from time to time. As stated on the website:

In this changing world, one day, even people presently in power, will have questions. They usually ask "experts" around them.
These "experts" are mostly lobbying for paying corporations. That's, why we would like to be around them too.
Goal of the currency is to transport the message to the people and to demonstrate the power of decentralization,
by being a useful currency for daily payment for everybody.
 If you establish a currency and not pay attention to the society, that builds around it, i am certain, you may not achieve too much advancement.
The question is less how do you want to live in future, because you could think "if i am born in an unbalanced society anyway, i just want to become one, of the rich ones".
The question is more about, how do you want your children to live? Is the answer really the same one?
Or would you wish them to live in a better and happier society AND to be prospering at the same time.
I am NOT here, to wait until the day, Europecoin is worth enough to buy BTC. I would have been able to sell at 750 sat anyway (not that bad with over 5 million coins).
I still keep buying and i will continue, until there are enough holders, that think the same (there are already many of them). People, that buy and advance the currency
and that build and educate the society around it, until we don't exchange, but use the currency everywhere and every day. That's what i stand for, with my NAME,
that i openly provide everywhere.
I have, from 3 years working as a social-media educator, for members of the European Parliament, the connections, the knowledge and the resources to do so and that's what i do.

Oh yeah, you are damn right, time for some updates :-)
1) Cloudstaking WalletWallet upgrade goes endless slower, then expected, because of some personal issues of the developer.
But regardless of that, i am taking care that it does not stuck. I always make sure, Europecoin maintains independence
from third party issues, this project is organiosed, not to go bust, if just one wheel goes missing. We always fly with spare-parts on board
(anyway he will be ok shortly. If not, i already have a plan B in place, just in case)2) Uberpay payment service and Android multiwallet with Shapeshift integrationThis task runs much smoother, the wallet is done, tested and ready to deploy, the needed electrumserver is already in progress.
Release is just a matter of days.
3) Europecoin Wallet V2 prerelease has an update and goes into BETA (sourcecode) i skip the compiling for now, because all released wallets are still compatible
and this version will have a lifespan of less then a month.

Fakt ist, ist der Preis (selbst mit 200€) ist hoch genug um sich nicht einfach mit nem fingerschnippen zu verzehnfachen.
(jaa ich sag niemals nie, aber ich sag selten) im Gegensatz zu einer erfolgreichen Altcoin Investition.
Wenn man jetzt zu wenig Bitcoins hat, sollte man Altcoins kaufen.
Im Grunde sind Altcoins der einzige wirkliche "double your bitcoins" Trick, den ich bis jetzt kenne.
Was meint Ihr?
Was wir meinen würden? Wir wissen doch, das auf den Knochen der jetzt zu einem Premiumpreis neu reinstolpernden/steigenden Neuanfänger diese exporbitanten und durchaus lukrativen Gewinne rausgetragen werden. Die Gewinne entstehen nicht wenn der Kurs hoch ist. Dann werden sie realisiert. Die Entstehungsphase ist ("Dabei hätten sie sich mal eher einige zur Seite legen sollen." das hast du richtig erkannt) einen Zyklus früher. schön gesagt, willkommen im Saloon Rekruten :-) |

Vermutlich hast du Recht: Im BTC sind vermutlich die gaaaanz großen Sprünge nicht mehr zu erwarten bei den Alts gehts erst noch los. Ich habe in den letzten Tagen nicht meine BTC gehalten sondern einige total absackende Alts gekauft....mal sehen ob es ne gute Idee war
welche haste denn gekauft? . VIA für 1100 XCR für 550 SC für 9 NEOS für 600 am Besten war Hyper für 10000 , der steht jetzt schon wieder bei 18000 ;-) da aber alles zusammen nicht mal 0,5 BTC waren (wie immer...zu wenig Kohle ;-) ) wirds wohl nicht zum Ferrari langen :-) ...mal sehen wie es sich entwickelt das mit dem zu wenig Kohle wird sich früher oder später einrenken, keine Sorge. I habe mein erstes Geld durch QR Codes ausfüllen an die exchanges gebracht, und alles darauf aufgebaut (kann ich nur empfehlen, wenn man keine Wahl hat, seeeehr mühsam, 1 Jahr) Auch wenn ich schon vor zwei Jahren dachte der Zug wäre abgefahren weis ich heute, hier ist immer noch JEDER ein Pionier, die "early adopter" sind noch nicht mall hier, i.d.R. macht jeder hier, der dranbleibt seinen Weg. . |

I did all that now the wallet is working but it`s not staking...what now?
Send me all of your coins and I will stake them for you! Sorry - that's not helping is it! Apologies. maybe Matt can help with a few ideas. (I assume you re-synched from scratch?) It`s ok i like to laugh Not quite from scratch but managed to fix my wallet to run without errors but it wont stake. some points (just to make sure): 1) your coins have to mature one week 2) your wallet has to have a password· but has to be unlocked if this is the case please check following 1) hover your mouse over the stakingicon (right bottom) and read the tooltip thats popping up 2) go to the debug Konsole and type "getstakinginfo" and post the results here for further investigation, i am sure we'll get this going, there have been no issues since release have fun Matthias . |

Dev i have a problem with my wallet it is constantly crashing.
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
I was having the same problem.. The only way I got to solve the issue as the following: 1 - Uninstall all C++ runtimes from Windows (windows will re-install the ones you need) 2 - backup wallet.dat 3 - clean up the europecoin directory and let the chain sync from the beginning (this takes quite some time and a couple of wallet restarts when things hang for some time) Note that you will still have the runtime error, but if you notice wallet runs ok dispite the error message. 4 - copy your backed up walled.dat back into europecoin folder 5 - start wallet and let it rescan the blockchain. 6 - at this point I still had some runtime errors appearing but wallet worked fine as long as I didn't clicked "OK" on the popup. 7 - Magically a few days ago I no longer have the problem anymore.. yes, runtimes issues, often occur on 32bit/64bit mixed systems, your description describes pretty well how to deal with it thanks have fun Matthias . |

Windows ver v2 from the op.
U have to restart ur windows...than it should be working again... if that doesn't help, try to start the Wallet, with internet connection offline and switch connection back on, after its running, that prevents interfering of possible Bittrex or Bleutrade API issues/hickups ... if this all doesn't help, please provide the Errormessage for further investigation. Whats your Window Version (as exact as possible) have fun Matthias . |

Hmmm.... 7 year old technology should not be giving you a problem. I still use my Commadore 64 computer with 64 k memory. Oh... and dialup internet connection. Actually, When I got dial up - there was only 1 on-line store but it took so long to make a purchase i drove to the actual store faster than I could buy on-line. Hey, I feel shocked...I thought, we will bring in cryptofuture...but with these sensational technical highlights, I see black...
