2301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: September 05, 2020, 08:18:19 AM
I think everyone's desire is to be a good investor. To be a good investor will give someone a lot of advantage in the crypto market. A lot of research and harwork is all it takes to be a good investor.
believe me, everyone wants to be a good investor, it's just that quite a lot of people get scam because they feel that all places to invest are the same, and it's easy to choose where to invest.
you mean its easy to choose a scam  compare to legit  ? well thats true because many scams can promise a good offer but people should think of that if they dont want to get scammed and they better research the hardest or the lowest investment offer because those are mostly legit   .  everyone want to be good at investing but not everyone are born with good investing skills but this does not also mean that they are going to be destined like this forever . they can changed that if they wanted to
2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: September 05, 2020, 05:58:23 AM
It is possible but the chance for ethereum to reach that price is too small. It is more realistic to reach $1k than those super high prices. And  besides ethereum is facing a problem which is the gas its very high.
eth fee issue is getting more and more serious everyday  . theres that people that complain every other day , these people were pissed off or got turned off . we will only knew one day that these people already abandoned eth and switch on coin that has a much cheaper fee . it can be a big hindrance for the success of eth  .  anyway earlier this day i saw feed about optimizing fees on eth  . i didnt follow the link but is that mean that devs are trying to fix the issue ?
2303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest for quick gains only on: September 05, 2020, 05:20:45 AM
From the start I wasn't interested in the existence of a defi project. It feels strange because there are so many defi projects that pump up to a high price,
it wont pump for no reason but there is something on this defi that makes people attracted to it but the bad guys took this as an advantage to start thier own fake projects .

i dont believe that you arent overwhelemed when the defi first came out because its normal for us people to feel it when theres a new thing that is being introduced . instead you can say that you got turned off when you saw that scams slowly arises .
2304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum prices may touch $250 soon so hodl on to them on: September 05, 2020, 04:42:38 AM
therefore we shouldn't waste the opportunity to buy Ethereum now,
the correction that is happening now is a big correction to continue the bullish trend again, buy gradually!
just wait for a little longer, don't be too hasty to buy and fill your bag in a situation like this. You could be trapped when Ethereum fell deeper than the current price. conditions are still unstable, it's better to wait for a better moment to buy later.
agree with your opinion, wait a minute and see what will to happens. don't be too quick to make decisions because the current market conditions are still in decline. there will be a right time to buying and selling, then you have to be patient waiting for that good moment.

i check eth value right now and i can see that its green again and its up by some percent  . current price of eth is 388 dollars  , i dont consider that as low but i dont also consider this as a buying point .  the correct moment to buy is supposed to be when price of coins are declining or thier price is low . all of us has our own thoughts on the price , now if you guys think the price is low why would you consider waiting and wasting time by not buying ? thats what not the golden rule taught us .
2305  Economy / Services / Re: Telegram channel promotion on: September 04, 2020, 07:11:33 PM
Who can promote my English-speaking crypto related Telegram channel?
Facebook pages are best way to promote your telegram for cheaper or free of cost and that kind of promotions are going to bring the real interested people into the channel. If you are going to buy peoples from someone either it will be bought or renamed channel where people have no idea about cryptos.

If he do it for by his self for sure he can cheaply do that since he will never pay anyone to promote his site but this is not enough to maximize the promotion since we really need to have a good exposure to get a good result so the best option for that is to run a ads campaign in anywhere that have a great user base so that he can get a positive result on that matters.
creating pages on fb are a free of cost but theres also premium or paid service which they will expose your page on the fb's homepage .

fb cant be enough if we do want greater result , we need to promote on different platforms to be able to achieve that . he ask for it so he is also willing to pay  but before anything else , he can start promoting here on this forum because this is the biggest crypto platform  ever .
2306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to bitcoin! on: September 04, 2020, 06:31:21 PM
manipulation cant be unbind with btc  . price dont want to break to 12k for now  . why get shocked ? is this your first time ? your account says it all , you are really a newbie . i wouldnt blame you but its also the fault of btc because btc supposed to be verry unstable before but it only became fairly stable this year or last weeks ago to be specific . youl be just fine if your a long term hodler , this is only hard for short term hodler because they dont have the ability to wait any longer in order for the price to recover .
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto after COVID-19 on: September 04, 2020, 05:47:03 PM
I'm more on the scenario of crypto prices will remain stagnant on the market after the covid end since there is one thing crypto lack of; official recognition from the government.
on what government your aiming to ? on your own country ? because if you will done a research or if you mostly hang out on this forum , you will know that most countries did already officially recognize crypto and there are those that are unofficially recognize due to some issues or prioritize that the government need to solve first .  but still recognition isnt enough to help crypto because people will prioritize thier new life if how can they start again,  after the covid has done
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 04, 2020, 03:14:31 PM
You want to earn money? Work hard for it. There is no easy way to success and into earning money in general (not just for cryptocurrencies).

Based from my experience, airdrops are usually a scam and projects that offer a guaranteed return of your investment with high interest rates are probably ponzi schemes.
Here in the forum, if you have the expertise of creating something that is in-demand in the marketplace section, you can offer your services with bitcoin or cryptocurrency as payment. Again, there is no short-cut to success as you have to work hard in order to gain and to earn.

but working hard can also or can still lead to being scammed . have you heard those workers that get hired by illegal recruiters ? they were either abused by thier employers and not get paid or dont land a job at all .

here on the forum  that also happen , thats why workers now are wise and they ask an escrow before they get the job done  . dont let them trick you because theres no free now
2309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 04, 2020, 02:43:12 PM
Ethereum fees is now more than $8 that i have paid in the last few days. This is fraustrating for a single transaction. If this fees continue, Ethereum will lose its popularity and TRON, XLM will gain its place in the future.

thats fine if eth loose some users because in that way eth value will decline and its fees are also gonna get lowered while its also a plus point for the coins that you said but i dont know if its also possible for trx and xlm to have an expensive fees when their values are already high .

maybe not ? because trx and xlm are known to have a less fees ever since they are created .
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VPN for cryptocurrencies? on: September 04, 2020, 11:09:04 AM
VPN is one of the options to make yourself anonymous in the internet but it's just a small part of the whole system on how you keep your Cryptocurrencies safe.
I disagree though, VPN won't make you anonymous, specially if you used this so called free VPN. This might be a good guide though, https://thatoneprivacysite.net/#simple-vpn-comparison. And everyone should read their TOS very carefully. Because maybe some of them are collecting your real name and addresses, just saying. The OP can find a lot of guides in the Beginners & Help.

of course because they are only free and they can only offer basic features such as faking your ip or country  . premium obviously offer better features but i think they can still get your infos if they wanted to  .

i like the idea suggested by user @lovesmayfamilis of creating our own vpn or by using an operating system that can mask your privacy .
2311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now the 6th largest world currency on: September 04, 2020, 10:30:39 AM
I think it is necessary to include gold and silver in this ranking. Any ranking that compares Bitcoin to money needs to include them. This strengthens the idea that Bitcoin is also an excellent store of value.

While I agree that it's more accurate for bitcoin to be compared to gold, the topic is about comparing bitcoin to other currencies though(obviously gold is not a currency), not necessarily other assets in general.
Or we have seen bitcoin compared to gold many times already, like in 2017 and now in 2020 wherein we are in a bull run. However, I don't believed that we need to compare BTC to any fiat currency we have right now. Obviously, BTC's supply is just 21 million, and those fiat can print as much as they can, so comparison wouldn't be fair in my opinion. Of course, the price is very unstable, we could hit 6 digits next year and pushes itself to the top 5, but then again when that bubble is burst, ranking will also go down.

this isnt only a battle between btc and other precious metals , it was said on the description above  but it would be better to see if all that has a value and can be used for paying are also be included on the list .  that way we can see the real position of btc versus to other assets/currency .  there are also rankings before  that are made only  to non fiat but  it was also already showcase a couple of times . i like this list that we have here better as it shows how strong already btc is
2312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Other cryptocurrency related alternatives on: September 04, 2020, 09:58:00 AM
so this is a thread to help people to earn a crypto in different way , i thought you are looking for payment method other than crypto but that will also be strange since you are here in a crypto forum and its a disrespect to talk about other payment methods on here  . earning 0.5 btc on a faucet ? that sounds to good to be true , i never earned that huge amount by working anywhere  but to earn it on faucet is somewhat impossible  .  you can earn something on faucet but only small amount .
2313  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: License to Sell Bitcoin in Person as Oppose To Online Exchange? on: September 03, 2020, 11:31:29 PM
Of course the laws differ from one country to another, but in general I think that the reason for this is that selling Bitcoin to people and not to companies is considered a type of tax evasion, when you sell or buy Bitcoin from someone directly, you do not pay any taxes because the deal is by agreement between you without paying any taxes. and this is contrary to the laws of some countries and is considered tax evasion.
When you buy or sell bitcoin from an exchange or other sites, you will have paid the tax through this sites because these licensed companies pay taxes to the government on a regular basis.

really ? we are being charged by a tax transacting online ? i didnt knew that because they dont also state in on thier terms . what i know for sure is that im only paying a service fee and that is expensive everytime i convert my fiat to crypto or crypto to fiat using this online wallet that ive downloaded .

this is why i sometimes prefer to buy and sell in person but i dont think people here on my place knows anything with btc
2314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental Analysis or Technical Analysis - which is more important? on: September 03, 2020, 10:58:36 PM
echnical analysis comes with a word technical which sounds hard but it is really hard looking at the charts when you have no experience on trading but fundamental analysis looks doeable based on its definition because it says data from the news and events  . this is also more accurate because you arent depending on past data like what you did on t.a but you can make your move based on the current or future happenings let say if theres a good news or a bad news related to cryptos .
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid big commissions to pay ethereum ? on: September 03, 2020, 10:28:09 PM
I don't know if it is sure and safe but supposedly i pay and not pay such cosmic commissions as you are now. How can i do this ?
I think you tried to tell about the Gas fees. But that was not commission mate that is miners fees. If the miner stopped mining then trx will not confirm, so your coin will behold. I think you can set low gwei to lower the fees. If you are not making big payments and pay through other cryptos then you should avoid ETH. You can use LTC,XRP,XLM etc. And if you use ERC-20 or other ETH based token then there is no way.

trx ? trx is a coin , you mean to say tx .  small or big payments , the fees are still the same  . thats why its recomended to transact all at once and avoid transacting micro payments because you are only going to pay more on the fees . we cant just avoid using eth if eth is the only coin that we have and also eth is a coin that is accepted in many platforms  . cost for sending erc20 token is still cheap but cost for sending eth are the ones that has a high fee
2316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: September 03, 2020, 02:10:55 PM
Risk exists in all cases. There is a language in the language of business.Business is a lot of risk and uncertainty. So profit cannot be expected without risk.
On what business you are dealing with ? Because there are business with zero or less risk only specifically small type of business or business where you already have the resources or the resources are only cheap to acquire .

Quote
Many people think that Bitcoin is a risk.I don’t think there is any risk here if you can make the right decision at the right time.It is possible to make a profit if you can invest when the market is good
Bitcoin can be or can't be a business  . You are the one that choose if you want to take risk or not .  There's a risk if you want to make business here on btc but like I said earlier , that risk aren't always big but we can adjust it .
2317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading platform on: September 03, 2020, 01:31:34 PM
I love it here, dude didn't made any sense on his question, nobody fully understood what he was asking, after that people just assumed what he wanted to ask, someone responded depending on what they understood and everyone following that just answered like that and that's it, we have now a page full of people responding to what they understood and not the real thing, everyone could be answering wrong.

If you really ask me dude probably wanted to ask centralized and dex and wanted to see which one is better and which one is more secure, the same old question of "would you trade on cex or dex" which is not really shocking, because dex is getting a lot more attention these days, but I still think places like Binance is much much better, they are just too ahead of the curve for the Dex ones to reach them.

lol so true  . I understand his first few words but not the last one  . Good thing you are here and you translated what he was trying to say  . This is helpful to other users that don't easily get what he mean  . To answer if which one  is better I think that would depend to a trader , he can't say cex is the best when he never used cex or he use dex the most   . They shouldn't be shy and tell the truth ,nothing wrong on dex and they are infact getting stronger now .
2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: September 03, 2020, 12:04:51 PM
You can go ahead with bounty bounties from bitcointalk or learn something good for yourself. Increase your skills in an area that you find competent. After the pandemic it will be a difficult life, we must compete to get a job.
one of the best ways is to trade,
because in trading you can get enough results every month if you are good at trading
best thing about trading is that we dont have competitors unlike to when applying to a job that theres so many candidates and your chance of getting hired is tiny but the only disadvantage of trading is that you need a capital to be able to get started . results on trading isnt always monthly but it can be daily or any other times depending on your activity   .  life now is more harder than compare to when the pandemic is over because atleast you can roam around and apply for every job that requires less knowledge
2319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: September 03, 2020, 07:29:25 AM
That is great, but I think this wasn't a good idea. I mean, the media always spreads how crypto currencies and bitcoin are used for scamming people. Your professor, next time when he sees anything about scamming involving bitcoin or crypto currencies like scam exchange or shit coins, the first thing he is going to remember is you and the example that you gave about freebitco trying to bait people to click on their site. He is going to have a bad impression about bitcoin.
Nevertheless, you did a good job trying to make people aware about crypto currencies.

his prof wont take it seriously but it was only an example because its part of thier class project about deceptive marketing  . from the word deceptive means to fool people or something like that  . this is different from scamming because its only a kind of marketing to be able to attract people . people can still expect to get something in return upon  trying the offer like for example on freebitco , you can really won a 200 dollar from thier free faucet it you are verry lucky because the chance is only small .
2320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: you're making bitcoin complicated on: September 03, 2020, 06:51:05 AM
you got a good point on there but this applies to some but not to others because me to be honest  i dont explain btc or a crypto just like on your first example because that is already for advance users  . a newbie must learn from the verry begining  .  i do recomend them an online wallet , the most popular in our country and this wallet already gone thru several updates making it easier to understand for newcomers . i also recomend them faucet to earn for the first time , not this forum because of how rules changed here and its now strict on here to level up an account .
