I don't think we will stabilize around what you think. I think that will occur in the 23-26k range You overstate the importance of Coinkite. While it is good crypto is making it into the real world, they only have 30-40 terinals worldwide. I would bet you have more ordinary terminals than that in just the town you live in. Would you be as excited about the car's first launch if there were only 40 places in the world you could refill it? Coinkite is slow burn, the downside is that other cryptos can get listed just as easily as BC in the meantime. Excellent news for crypto, as it will be a cryptoworld group effort in the end, but I doubt no single coin will be able to get an advantage from it. Coinkite and its competitors will raise all ships. |

There is clearly many perks to this coin other than the pool. Its one of the fastest coins in the world, its got antimaleability patches which allow
for contracts. Seriously, people should not overlook that.
What does litecoin have that we dont do better? POS > POW this coin pretty much proves it!

Blackcoin is PoS, that makes PoW terribly obsolete and redundant, hashing power will need to fine more practical applications instead of just securing the network, as this can now be done cheaply and efficiently with PoS. I like PoS as well. But can anyone here tell me, what distinguishes Blackcoin from Peercoin?? 1st concept PPC is still POW/POS while BC is pure POS. BC dev wanted prove that pure POS can be secured PPC dev is worryng is not enough and he keep centralized checkpoints and POW part all time. PPC is still in mining while BC is not they have different economy because of that. POS minig with BC is diffrent than BC too.In what way? BC 1st stakes you can get in 8h in PPC after 90days. BC use coin age so after 2 years when you open wallet you will get 2%... of initial intrest becouse BC use coinage from NOVA. I don't think that PPC use coin age at all. IN PPC you will lose some stake part because you need to be online more often. But i like get daily some coins more than bigger part once per eg 20-30 days Where did you got that? Really I don't understand please explain me how can the BlackCoin official guys come in and stop a pump? I like it, but some digital voice would be nice.  Your screen with BC details goes too quickly to read it all. Not 100% sure I want this to be marketed as the coin that eats others... :/ Whitecoin will also be PoS soon. They will also be eating coins. Hashrate.org is relaunching tomorrow after 3 days of upgrades. They will be very hungry for coins if they can keep the 0.009btc/mh/day up  And they have 10% on top of that too as an introductory bonus, not bad if they can pull it off. Webbson hasn't got back to me so it will be harder to compare how it does against the other pools. Regarding the blackcoin card, am I right in thinking that this is an encrypted usb wallet and separate to the coinkite system? I am almost sure it isn't as someone said Coinkite doesn't launch BC until the 1st June yet BC cards are being shipped now. They are usb wallets, correct? The chip on the bc cards is just for the look (I remember the debate on this, whether to have it or not) The card is not from Coinkite it is just a cool looking wallet I did buy one, I think it is a fun way to promote blackcoin. Thanks for going to the trouble. As an idea it could be debated as to whether an advert would need or want to be that aggressive in its suggestive nature, or in fact as a promotional video it might be completely right. In some regards perhaps its a question as to whether its a hard line promotional video being made or an infomercial. I wouldn't have minded a play with it, but I'm playing with other ideas. Which I'd like to see get finished then *ignored/*slammed (I guess) I think people could be a little more considerate about how they are criticising people's efforts as it will also put people off. Otherwise we will have to club together again and just buy some usb sitcks put a wallet with 10bc on it and have them given away at the oscars, or other events. I am not going into much detail because I want to make it a surprise. But yeah its the thing crypto is waiting for basically. I am aware of two projects enabling atomic cross chain transactions, one is being tested for release today (proof of concept was in march) and two for trustless escrows.
