guys, what are you complaining about?

we just had a fantastic 10x run and are in the plateau+correction phase now, preparing for the next run. Most Alts are down due to low BTC inflow.

Just relax, go and play golf for a few days.

+1 Its always the same

I like it, but some digital voice would be nice.  Smiley

Your screen with BC details goes too quickly to read it all. Not 100% sure I want this to be marketed as the coin that eats others... :/

Whitecoin will also be PoS soon. They will also be eating coins.

Hashrate.org is relaunching tomorrow after 3 days of upgrades. They will be very hungry for coins if they can keep the 0.009btc/mh/day up  Grin And they have 10% on top of that too as an introductory bonus, not bad if they can pull it off.

Webbson hasn't got back to me so it will be harder to compare how it does against the other pools.

Regarding the blackcoin card, am I right in thinking that this is an encrypted usb wallet and separate to the coinkite system? Is there info on the coinkite progress somewhere?

Thanks guys/gals

Thanks to Noerc for Pm'ing me and helping me understand a bit more about the return involved staking. Still not quite there yet though  Wink From the code, it appears the person who creates the block (the staker) gets the fees in that block. The decision who gets the block is based on a funciton of your stake and the CoinAge. I am still not clear how the headline 1% inflation is filtered into this yet (I mean from a technical point of view).

Can someone confirm that the blackcoin card isn't related to Coinkite? I am almost sure it isn't as someone said Coinkite doesn't launch BC until the 1st June yet BC cards are being shipped now. They are usb wallets, correct? The chip on the bc cards is just for the look (I remember the debate on this, whether to have it or not)

The card is not from Coinkite it is just a cool looking wallet

I did buy one, I think it is a fun way to promote blackcoin.

POOL IS IN MAINTENANCE

Please, do not cry out. As you might have seen in the crypto world there have been many strange things going on in the past 24 hours. To prevent problems with the BlackCoinPool it is currently in maintenance mode. We'll perform a full security audit and be back soon.

- Wallets are all safe
- Money is all safe
- SHA payouts will happen as usual
- Scrypt payments are delayed due to the audit.

YOU WILL GET PAID - THE POOL WILL BE BACK.

For now: Failover = http://www.cryptoalts.com - Pays in BC too.

OMG WHY IS IT DROPPING BELOW 35K Huh

1. General lull in alt crypto at the moment
2. Whale activity
3. Pool down
4. People were not happy with BC staying in a safe band and stirred with dangerous artificial meddling speak, spooking investors. Now it has broken out of the safe band to a new level but lower.

But don't worry, it will go back up when the new innovations go online - Coinkite etc. and investor confidence return. Also when the pool is fully functional again or when the whales decide it should go up again. I would still stay with BC over the long term due to its fundamental characteristics and the dev team's effort as well as the community support. This is just temporary.

You can cry more. Or you can earn money mining in the fully-operative hashrate multipool.

You choose.

Agree!

but the fact that #2 is just "normal" is why I voiced wanting black shield or taking down whale walls. Why is that ok with crypto - normal? The whales pushed prices a hair below 35k and then within sec. put up like a 20btc wall exactly on 35k, then adjusted it to about 31btc (a little below too)...and just now adjusted the wall to about 50btc. they're purposely manipulating. why is it taboo to bite back and grab like half the btc's, and not letting whales do what they want to the market? I do think prices will naturally go up, but and am not advocating for a pump, just a bite at those obviously fake walls.

I do get worried about volume dropping so what? All of you should be worried about it dumbfucks.

BC is just another alt in the eyes of most of the investors, one day is alive the next can be dead, like any other alt.

And I really hope it doesn't happen, but before a coin gets dead there are signs that only the smart ones can see, and one of the signs is a drop in volume followed by a drop in value.

Hi There,

I only found out about Blackcoin a few weeks ago and started buying in around the 15000 sat point, so I can't exactly say I've been in BC since the start like yourself (relatively speaking). For the last few weeks I have been really excited about this coin, its community and its potential, and have been buying coins constantly all the way up to about 40000 sat.

However due to the recent dip in the past 48 hours I have switched to a hold position, in order to see where this dip will take us, with the intention of buying in again at the first sign of upwards movement (cheap coinz etc).

The reason i am telling you this is because I am sure I am not the only person thinking like this, and behaviour such as this may explain the recent bout of low volume that you fear so much. Rather than encouraging destructive pumps on the coin for personal profit, why don't you wait and see what the next 7 days hold for Blackcoin, provide some support to the community (through promoting the coin, telling your friends, thinking up ideas that might actually benefit the COMMUNITY rather than just YOURSELF) and then make your decision then?

Alternatively, if you are so sure that your Blackcoins are about to fall to nothing in the immediate future, I would be happy to purchase a 20000 sat call option on your entire stash, thats a 1000% roi on your initial investment, how can you say no to that  Wink

potential is great, but its just potential.

Simple answer:
IMO it is to early for something like this! Maybe Later when the Community is bigger,BC is more accepted! Now i get the feeling we are only Flavour of the Month for some Investors! In other words: we need them at the momment!

just my 2 BCs!

Was the pool buying the last 2 days? The price drop happened without resistance. It doesnt make sense.
