It's the first time I comment on this thread and I'm amazed at more than 6600 pages! On the other hand, one would expect a great alternative to payments and value reserve! This community is extremely strong, this consolidates the basic ideas of a coin! 'Community', 'PoW', 'Goal', 'Team'. It's technically impossible for countless people to get an MN nowadays... Only you can make the decision if Dash is worth buying now. You will have to make that decision based on Dash past performance and an educated guess on Dash future performance. Dash dev team is busy working on a very large update called Dash Evolution and already published several demo's about that. I suggest you study what direction Dash is heading and why many investors feel this very large update will have such a large impact. They pretty much developed the backend of Dash Evolution and are now focussing on the frontend. We are awaiting a revised roadmap that should give people more clarity. |

Japan will ban anonymous cryptocurrencies. What will happen to DASH?
So far its only Japan that banned privacy-focussed cryptocurrencies. The result of that ban is that certain exchanges cut their ties to Japan. Kraken for example got rid of all its Japanese fiat pairs and i suspect other exchanges will do the same to avoid getting caught up in too strict regulation. Same thing happened with USA / New York when they introduced too strict regulation with their Bitlicense, it caused volume to spead to other countries and it caused exchanges to cut ties with the USA market. I think historically Europe has a much stronger pro-privacy sentiment and also do not want to stiffle innovation by banning certain cryptocurrencies, so i suspect privacy-focussed cryptocurrencies will not get banned there and volume will start flocking to that region. There is however a role for Dash to play here as well, which is to inform people and policy makers / governments that Dash is far more then just a privacy-focussed cryptocurrency like Monero and Zcash are. Dash can actually offer a technological break-through in how people can do instant decentralized peer to peer transactions (without involving third parties) in this new digital era we all live in. Dash clearly aims for its technology to become mainstream adopted, not just by non-tech users but also by merchants and large retail businesses. |

Fill your bags boys. This is the moment we all have been waiting for. It is coming. Paper monetary system is on life support since early 2000's. QE's kept him alive for nearly another 20 years and It has come to an end.
And we just got some confirmation yesterday that the market does in fact see us as a safe haven asset. (A lot of people just assume this, I have never felt comfortable just assuming it) Yep a 500$ increase means that the bulls are in for the fight with the bears and they are showing that they don't want Bitcoin to go down below 7,000$. It will just need one big pump for it to go up again. Right now it is trying to complete a inverse head and shoulder pattern which is a bullish formation if it goes about 7,600$ our first target would be 7,700$- 7,800$ but if it goes down to 7,350$ then this rally would be over. Looks like the rally is over, or almost over. Be wary of those sneaky bear counter-attacks. |

DASH's ability to centrally control development and network parameters is a problem in other areas, as it de-incentivises developers to build utility on the chain at low cost.
I rather have Dash somewhat centralized spork technology to safely guard Dash through its updates, then risk having the network fork during these updates. There are idea's floating around to make that spork technology less centralized in the future, by putting it in the hands of masternodes to vote over. What i dont see is how it directly de-incentivizes developers to build utility on the chain on low cost, Dash Evolution itself will be decentralized and future services can then easily get build upon the block chain or added to Dash decentralized platform at low cost. The thing i'm looking forward to the most with Dash Evolution is that it enables Dash to create a sort of meeting place where merchants can offer their services / products and users can search for producs / services / merchants. This will be all directly linked to the blockchain through blockchain user / merchants accounts and a rating system. Basicly in time (and yes it will take some time) it will form one big internal Dash blockchain-connected shopping mall, which will grow exponentially. |

The ‘6th Pattern’ in Bitcoin’s Price
According to this theory, the 6th day of each month Bitcoin will reach a top or a bottom in its price. The 6th of January Bitcoin reached one of the highest tops it has ever had
when it was traded around $17,000 dollars. After this day, BTC’s price suffered a reversal that took it just under $6,000 dollars.
The interesting fact, is that when it touched the lowest point, it was on February the 6th, just one month after it reached its highest price before starting a bear movement.
But the pattern repeats itself in the next months. Once Bitcoin was traded at its lowest point this year (February the 6th), it started to recover part of the value lost, and topped
around $12,000 dollars on March the 6th.
And the theory keeps in the next months, April and May. In March the 6th, Bitcoin’s upward trend changed direction and touched new lows the 6th of the next month (April) near $6,400 dollars.
We were able to experience the last bull trend between April 6 and exactly one month later when Bitcoin tried to break above $10,000 dollars.
Now we are approaching the next (possible bottom?) 6th in June when Bitcoin can reach a bottom, again. If the pattern does not break here, we could see a recovery that may take Bitcoin price near $8,750.
