Maybe not in actual practice but FP made a specific fuss about peeling off the do his company thing. And stepping down etc.
One of the main goals of Tari is Monero success. Fluffypony emphasized this in his latest presentation on Tari & Monero, which I strongly recommend to watch:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmeSSnppixYAdditionally, he did not leave Monero. He is still actively participating in Monero's development.
Also all you guys went off to another forum (I know you are always here working hard - you had most of my merits over the years for it)
Most traffic is currently present on Reddit (r/monero for normal discussion and r/xmrtrader for investing / trading discussion). As far as I can see, this is simply a side-effect of people preferring Reddit over Bitcointalk nowadays. The latter has arguably also lost a lot of traffic over the years. Thus, I don't think the lower activity here is on purpose.
thanks for answering some points. And I'm hoping I haven't offended you.
I think perception is more important than reality. ie the way people see something.
I did wait up to see his speech towards the end of the conference the other day.
I think the best thing going on is the work in the core making Monero more accessible and integrable to other projects and uses. Hurrah to that.
I miss those days when we were worth fighting against. Maybe its me who needs to move on.
One of the few Monerians still here, though there are several high profile "2nd coin" supporters, who will back me up from time to time or spare me some abuse.
1 or 2 nasty people have really spoiled this place and they post unchecked because we have no mods for our stuff. I just have to bare through it.
