2321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone who wants to give advice on NFT's work, please come in. on: January 21, 2023, 03:17:07 PM
The design is quite good but with my personal opinion, connecting artworks to 'ape' which is a successful project in the first place. It would still be better to create another concept to introduce yourself as someone 'new' than to have an image of a copy artist in this industry. Well, indeed it could share a hype with the original project but still, things won't be the same if it is outcome you are hoping for. Use your imagination and capability as an artist. Would be much better to also express yourself and create your own 'self' in this industry and outside. NFTs are really hard in terms of choosing which is which. Demand based as well but originality and concept would be factors to determine a project's outcome.
2322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin always shames social media experts. on: January 21, 2023, 02:52:17 PM
There's no such thing as expert in this industry, "more experienced" is a better terminology to use. This market in general is unpredictable to its broadest extent. There will always be unexpected pumps and dumps without any pattern in particular.  These so called aocial media experts are only creating an image to somehow create a community which could somehow help them predict what is unpredictable. Problem is, no one can change the fact that the market would move in line with the majority and a small community cannot make a change with that random pattern unless you are a whale which could temporarily create a 'wave' with market pricesm And that I think is what social media so called "experts" are trying to do which is to gain profit from creating conformity with majority.
2323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two-edged sword for countries that banned Bitcoin on: January 20, 2023, 11:07:20 PM
1. The government cannot earn through Bitcoin in terms of investments, taxes and others.
.....
What do you think guys?
Some of them say that their reason why not legalizing Bitcoin or crypto is because they cannot control it, because of its decentralization. But I am sure enough that what you said here is right, they actually not only cannot control the Bitcoin but also cannot earn money from Bitcoin. Although they try to make some laws about crypto tax, this is also complicated because not every transaction and investment asset is connected to the individual bank account so this will be also not optimal.

However, we cannot deny that some countries also legalize and support crypto in several sectors such as the investment digitally, not as the legal currency. Atleastt, this will give a good progress for the crypto. Not al government hate Bitcoin, but most of them  actually have bigger certain interests so they have to tighten cryptocurrencies in their countries. moreover, they feel that they are in control of the country.
Actually they can especially if they would prohibit decentralised exchangers and the general use of this technology. Check on those countries wherein cryptocurrencies are banned already. It won't be termed as "banned" for no reason, meaning, people in those countries have no access at all. While to some countries, cryptocurrencies are neutral wherein its usage is not prohibited, but is also not supported, which I think decentralisation plays a role. It could also be taxed using prohibition through centralised exchangers. Fiat will still be used no matter what, because only few businesses accept cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment, to such countries.
2324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A day for representation of Bitcoin on: January 20, 2023, 10:19:05 PM
The promotion of bitcoin will further increase its demand it will gradually spread throughout the world and as the demand for bitcoin increases, its value will increase with investment. There should be a similar route map if you are involved in a product marketing business with an artist and big business with investment and if it is a based online business but the road is a little different. People need to know its proper use and traders in every industry will flock to bitcoin.
Not always, it depends on the audiences. Promotion of this technology through pagenats and such will just help people to recognize this blockchain but won't help to convince other countries to adopt it. What should be promoted is its advantages. There are many countries wherein this technology is being accepted as a mode of payment but only a few really promotes it. Why? Possible reason is to not put at risk those who are non-crypto investors. If they are not ready for price volatility, then that would be a bad idea promoting it because they'd be more likely the one to blame. Another thingis with business owners who are still in doubt whether to accept it or not because losses might be bigger during bearish trend.
2325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I had known on: January 20, 2023, 03:45:28 PM
I'm afraid there's a lot of things you still don't know about Bitcoin. But you'll learn on the way, so don't stop on studying and earning Bitcoin. Though, you could have earned a lot already in those years if you didn't doubt Bitcoin in the first place, especially there's no risk at all in engaging this forum. I've learned a lot already since I started here, but I still have a long way to go.

I'm proud to say that Bitcoin helps me to change my life up 'till now and in the future. It's better than fiat, that's for sure.
Aren't we all? I mean, from being here for years already, I am aware that there's lot more to learn in this technology. Also even if Bitcoin has advantages over fiat, the other way around still is there; widely accepted and has a more stable value which makes it more convenient to use on a daily basis, without regrets or worrying from doing such thing. Pitential of this technology is well known but but why is it that this blockchain is not being used on a regular basis for daily purchases? 'coz people who owns an amount are more expecting profit from it than as a usual digital currency. And for now, that is simply how this technology would work. But progressive development continues so maybe in the future issues would be aided.
2326  Economy / Economics / Re: We are not out of the woods yet on: January 20, 2023, 03:12:59 PM

And beginners should try it and not give up because prizes await them. We shouldn't be afraid of a bear market like it is today, and it is precise with this bear market that we can get the opportunity to buy bitcoin at a low price.

Yes, for beginners, maybe they should first feel the benefits if they hold bitcoin even in a bear market like this. I'm sure they will be able to do it, but the doubts that come to them are also because there is a lot of FUD circulating when a bear market occurs, so they have to get guidance from people who are already in the bitcoin space, or in other words they have to be guided by people with experience . Here, in this room, they will learn a lot from their seniors and share what has happened in the past. I wish they could just ignore all the FUD aimed at bitcoin.
But that makes them "beginners". Being prone to FUDs, misconceptions and such. Well that is a part of the learning process. They won't know the do's and don'ts if they won't experience it. Giving them a tip would help but for sure they won't understand it at first. Experience teaches stronger. Guidance from those who are quite long would help them minimize prior mistakes. On the other hand, FUDs a bit hard to conquer if you're just new in this industry; where would you base facts if lmost everything in this industry is opinionated such as with possible trend, when to sell or buy and the likes. Spoonfeeding also won't be a help, I guess, based on experience. It took me another year to fully understand this blockchain 'coz I was spoiled by my friends who got here early.
2327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to be great? Then be ready to learn. on: January 20, 2023, 02:32:32 PM
That's the difference between present, past, and future. Not because you know something already you'd already engage into it. Not because something is promising, you'd invest already with that particular asset. You are having regrets but that is because you already saw how this technology has proven its potential. It is normal to doubt at first, that might be a mistake but that is also a part on the process of learning. Learning on the other hand should be used in the future. This technology will never make you feel "late" because the market price is not consistently and continuously increasing. If you can afford enduring the risk, you may still cope up with the progressive development of this technology. Just keep in mind the risks involved.
2328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of NFT on: January 20, 2023, 02:10:26 PM
NFT is an art and art will alway be timely. But there seems to be limitations. People who are calling it trash are ones who simply does not appreciate arts and that's just fine. But never force someone to have  perspective of such because there are really people who would spend huge mount of money. Likewise with typical artworks, appreciation is the key player. It is just that there is a higher demand with digital arts in form of NFT because some has utility and some are project based which makes it more pricy. So i guess NFT industry will still be here for years. Just let those who enjoys it, be happier with their thing. If you cannot appreciate their "world" atleast give yourself a favor to not mind them than to say negative things just because you cannot understand or simply view the positive side of it. That's toxicity already.
2329  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: January 20, 2023, 01:39:39 PM
Cheap if it would be compared with expenses in ither countries but expensive because of the minimum wage salary. Most of the people in my country are minimum wage earner which makes $3 for a meal, expensive already.  Well, the idea is the same with other countries wherein high marketable goods are being sold but is being compensted with high salary from different jobs. Inflation becomes a problem if the slary of an average family won't be able to cope up. So to put it simply, the weigh of cost of living within  country depends on the economic status as well as socil status of the citizens which are comparable with other countries. The difference with economic sttus of different countries creates different perspective of what 'expensive living' is.
2330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin increased my mental awareness on: January 20, 2023, 01:01:57 PM
>snip
1. You must split your coins in 2-3 wallets, to avoid losing all your coins if they are all in one wallet. But then you don't know what types of wallets to use.
After the FTX case and all the chaos of centralized exchanges then I think anyone should consider these tips as well:

Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts

Quote
Ideally, you should keep as large a percentage as possible of your crypto assets in a wallet where only you control the private keys. Electrum for Android or desktops is one good option. For iOS, there's BlueWallet. If you have a large variety of different crypto assets that you need to store, there's Unstoppable wallet. If you have never used your own trustless wallet before, using a mobile app is probably safer than using a desktop app. An even safer option, which you should definitely consider if you have a lot of crypto assets, is to use a hardware wallet such as Trezor or Ledger.

Unless you can choose a few recommended wallet, then you should consider not keeping your assets on the exchange for an amount you cannot afford to lose. Of course for certain amount you can keep it on the exchange, but for long term investment then you need to consider wallet that you have complete control over. Have self-custody for your assets, it's much safer for your goals in the long term.

I think it is time to end the drama about the issue concerning FTX. For sure many of us are aware of the risk of putting your assets on exchangers but still, people still continue such habbit. But I won't force them not to do so 'coz they might be trusting their exchanger that much. If we would look back to past, scams were on projects and rarely with exchangers. To my awareness, it is only FTX which became careless of their funds which yield to irreponsibility and collapse but that does not conclude that every exchanger would also do so. Indeed there is the slightest tendency, but generalizing will just result to FUD and bigger problems.

Going back with the topic, indeed this technology would make you aware of things, mentally. From planning, controlling oneself with actions, to speculating. But I doubt that is only due to this technology. It is applicable to lmost everything, it is just more emphasized on this blockchain because volatility is too high.
2331  Economy / Speculation / Re: How was your belief formed? on: January 19, 2023, 10:56:31 PM
It is a matter of consistency with what you are believing in the first place. As long as you have your own reason to continue with the thing you are passionate about, then you're good. It is just that people would doubt something they are not really aware of until they see the fruit of your 'labor'. As others have mentioned, many of us experienced such doubts from people around us regarding this technology. But on a broad perspective, it is just a misconception and misunderstanding. Since you are the one who knows well of this industry, it is somewhat not surprising to know that you are the only to be amazed of the potential for this technology. Just continue as you believe.
2332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Curiosity on Bitcoin brought me to this amazing platform on: January 19, 2023, 09:57:57 PM
Indeed this platform opened new opportunities for both investors and non-investors of cryptocurrency. This is also where most of the users here learned more about this technology and ways of being aware of the advantages such as with profit making and transactions. Topics having different concerns and to how users share their opinions about it.
I love the integrity of this platform and it makes one feels very safe here knowing how fraud has increased all over the World.

Well guess what dude — Bitcointalk is just as unsafe as most community platforms on the world wide web. Same with other social platforms, you just need to ignore(or better yet, report) the spam/scams and focus on the good topics/conversations.
Everything which is open to masses would be 'dangerous'. Not all informations you would read, will be based on facts especially if it is opinionated. As you learn new things you'd be able to identify which information should you keep and use , as well as info you should disregard. That is a part of learning process I think.
2333  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kryptogamers Hive No KYC Casino on: January 19, 2023, 09:26:58 PM
I'm fine with Kyc procedures especially the casino has a good reputation. The only risk involve in this process is that your identities might be used on things without your consent right? But that I think would be somehow impossible. There are as well many advantages of it which I lately realized such as not allowing quick withrawals in connection with hacked accounts. Also, it would limit those players (depends on the kyc requirement 'coz IDs could be somewhat faked) especially minors to be able to play in casinos. From engaging to many sites with KYC, I had no problem so far so maybe it just depends on the sites you are choosing. A site with no kyc is not enough I guess to be interesting to the eyes of players.
2334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoin awareness for easy adoption in my locality on: January 19, 2023, 03:54:57 PM
Making them aware won't be enough to persuade them on using this technology. Their accessibility, capability and preference would be the bottomline. Many people are aware of the potential of this industry as well as its advantages over fiat but why are those people still using fiat? Because it is more convenient on a daily basis; not everyone owns a crypto and even if they do, they'd have guilt on using it on a daily basis because of the potential profit it has, from holding and waiting for the market price to go up. We are simply not ready for it yet as long as the market is showing high level of volatility which could generate profit, people won't be using it as a normal currency for normal transactions.
2335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: recommendation for broker on: January 19, 2023, 03:30:07 PM
I believe you are looking for a crypto-exchange, right?
nope, OP clarified that he is looking for a "betting broker". after searching around on what it means I found out that they are a betting agent that allows a gambler to bet on offshore gambling sites anonymously.

if I remember correctly this is quite similar to the posts I've seen here in the forum where the OP of the thread offer's themselves as a middleman to place bets on gambling sites on behalf of the gambler.
Never heard the term broker in a crypto exchange but I mainly heard it when it comes to real estates and I think I also heard one before in sports betting. If this wasn't related to betting then the OP won't also post it on this section.

Apart from giving us anonymity when availing them, I know that there are other advantages too that they can provide to the bettors but there if are advantages then there must also be disadvantages and that is their trust. It's hard to trust one especially if they are a new service being posted in this section but if ever they established their names here and make their thread active then maybe a lot of us will try them.
At first I though he's referring to sportsbetting such as bookies which made me confused when OP said that it is not what he is looking for then mentioned about ben-football.  A broker in real estate field is simply the one who mediates transactions between a company and a tenant or investor. So if there's such thing in gambling, it might be the bookmakers he's trying to point out or those whoch are managing fixed betting (hopefully it is not). But still, I don't get its relevance with this industry wherein a player could simply bet on sports without the need of such specific person given that gambling sites has their own team to run the betting procedures.
2336  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nebeus: the easiest way to send money to a Crypto Casino!! on: January 19, 2023, 03:15:16 PM
If the casino I am gambling on is a crypto currency casino which means  they accept crypto deposit and withdrawals, I don't see any need or reason to want to deposit fiat directly to the casino, or even deposit my crypto to the casino from a centralized service other than crypto exchange where I trade.
Fiat is outdated, the only reason why we still have need for it is because for now, it is still the generally accepted means of payment for goods and services, most of our older forks don't understand what bitcoin is all about yet, and as such, they are still skeptical about incorporating it into their businesses, aside this , fiat is fading away, and so is every centralized monetary system and organizations fading away as well.
Also, depositing fiat to a crypto casino would cost more in transactions because of convertion unlike with direct cryptocurrency transaction wherein fees are simply lower, same with withdrawals by the way. But I doubt with being outdated, it is more focused on the present. People are still using it simply because they prefer it more over cryptocurrencies for daily transactions and we cannot blame them from doing so.We do have preferences, I guess. On my end I am using crypto by means of depositing into casinos simply to avoid additional taxes and also delays because oayments would undergo through chains.
2337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - February 25 in Saudi Arabia on: January 19, 2023, 02:44:27 PM
Jake Paul has the edge on this one I guess. If it is true that Fury have dodged Paul a couple of times maybe confidence is lacking on his end, and that is an important thing. But since hype is there already, this would be for sure exciting to watch. But quite of an interest, I'd like to see salt papi vs jake paul for some reason. They're on heat together with KSI which I think would rain bets to whoever would be able to land a match up on these three. In terms of skills, PAPI I guess would be on advantage. But going back with this match up, Fury has the potential as well but it is just that Jake has more exposure with fights with 'tougher' opponents which could be his biggest advantage.
2338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice on choosing a crypto casino on: January 19, 2023, 02:12:11 PM
There are many to choose from mistly offering bonuses (often they are competing which one would be higher), same set of games, and other alike features. But what for me, would make a player stay is the technical support or the response of the gambling platform towarda the concerns of its players. You may seek for advantages such as those huge bonuses as they promote but not all gambling platforms would mind the existing problems on their site, worse? there will be isolated cases of non paying related issues and they won't make an action about it. Ither features to consider are speed of transactions, accessibility, and odds (matters to some players).
2339  Economy / Gambling / Re: Get $10 For play Casino (Only for USA No KYC needed) on: January 19, 2023, 01:43:10 PM
Get Sign up and we are giving $10 for play from our side.

No KYC No Scam .
Sign up Details Over Telegram - @Jaizking

Make the thread more clearer and provide necessary details about this since if many would understand what you need easily for sure they will sign up on what you are telling to them. Also put the funds on escrow since if there's no escrow involve here then might scamming issues might happen. But I also believe that this is affiliate only and you want to earn from your invites and most provably before you give that $10 they should spend first or wager.

Also putting a pm me in telegram will just make you sounds like a scammer so avoid this if you are legitimately in need and put all the details in the thread.
Definitely would be the impression by most people in this industry. If OP is not an affiliate, why would he invite people to play on their platform? more likely because of the referral bonus, unless the $10 reward is in token form of that particular site which could only be used inside but is not withdrawable.

If you are not an affiliate and you are doing this for the sake of bonuses through referral, we would have no problem with that just say so. Referral bonus in the first place would be given to both invitee and inviter. 'coz if you will hide hidden motives you are just putting other players at risk if that particular site would turn out to be a scam. Please don't be like that.
2340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Vs Cardano on: January 18, 2023, 10:40:36 PM
Better in terms of what? If as an investment I think Ethereum would be more of a better candidate but if it is with fees (not sure tho') I think Cardano would be be one since it has a lower market value. Ethereum on the other hand is a huge network already from being used to most of the projects and transactions in this industry which makes it capable to withstand every downfall with the market prices and be able to recover afterwards. It has proven "itself" for years as being the next to Bitcoin, thus, this would be a mismatch to compare. Cardano is really promising but that won't make it a better cryptocurrency than ethereum. But these two are really a good investment.
