What does it say your speed is on the pool? Could it just be a error being reported to the LCD?
Sure it can be a firmware issue while at ozco.in side it shows 1,104.92 GHash/s.
is it safe the change of firmware? What temperature you got with that?
At least the process goes smoothly.  Cheesy The temperature of the boards is about 47-50ºC, 54º at hottest (upper in the list) board. All that is displaying in web interface. LCD shows 49.8ºC. S2 is now at my home, this evening I'll move it to my working place where the air conditioner can make an ambient even 19ºC...

S2 is discontinued?
Sorry, what do you mean? It reboots after firmware upgrade, if you mean that.  Grin
2342  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The last Batch of AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner, Now $1790 per unit on: July 24, 2014, 06:19:28 PM
Kano ?
Kano, works on the cgminer team.
Edit: here's his github page for the S2: https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer-binaries/tree/master/AntS2
Kano's firmware shows now 3 Th on LCD screen of my S2... And 6233 for last 5 minutes.

And I still can not change default passworb via web-interface...

We've prepared an Ozcoin widget app wich enables you to monitor Ozcoin activity in a nice looking app directly on your desktop.

In other news a bug with newly created workers has been fixed Smiley
I'm very sorry, but I cannot find this widget following that link.
"The page you are looking for cannot be found"
Please somebody share a link with me!.. Thanx!

Does someone know specifications of staff fans? Maybe it makes sense to replace the fans with more quiet?
2345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Moon Asics on: July 22, 2014, 12:38:09 PM
Did someone heard something about Moon Asics company? Or maybe someone already have pre-ordered their miners?

You just take a look at their specifications! 240 MH/s at 152 Wt for only 1,978.00$!

Give me two, please!..  Cheesy

2346  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 【SOLD OUT】The last Batch of AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner, Now $1595 per unit on: July 22, 2014, 12:31:07 PM
Today I have received my AntMiner S2. Nice package, nice device, nice smell, seems to be working well for 8+ hours...

I did not performed a firmware upgrade because of non-guaranteed power (it's Russia...), I will do it later, when I'll place it to the place of free electricity...  Wink

Now my miner is:
Code:
Kernel Version	Linux 3.8.13 #1 SMP Fri Jan 17 23:04:23 CST 2014
File System Version Thu Apr 10 19:08:42 CST 2014
Cgminer Version 3.12.0

2348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XMR] Monero Client .NET - A GUI wallet made for Windows on: July 19, 2014, 08:53:46 AM
If you mean a solution like this, then it may be an interesting idea. Otherwise, the daemon is required to run with the GUI wallet, as my application gets data from RPC services.
Later I understood that bitmonerod utilizes CPU only when syncronizing a blockchain. Now I use an official CLI-client, it looks not so complicated too. Let it be CLI for a while.  Grin
2349  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners (gridseed seller) independent feedback thread on: July 11, 2014, 03:47:28 AM
Guys, I don't know about any others, but me is rather "extremely unhappy" with your service. Probably this is my personal lack of luck, but I am waiting for refund since July, 13th...
Well, I think now this is a time to tell my story of my interaction with GAW in full. Maybe I wouldn't do that but they have closed my ticket so they made it clear that they don't want to discuss anything else with me. Well...

Firstly I decided to place an order for G-blade, then after may be one hour I have changed my mind and decided to cancel that order to buy more expensive, more powerful miner, probably even at GAW shop... Unluckily the hell already possessed me to pay for G-blade some amount of BTC. So I was waiting for refund for almost a month (!), and what would you think? I received less than I paid!

Well, they gave me an explanation of this fact:
Quote
Hi, this would be the current USD conversion
but I suspect that if my refund could be performed ontime, I could receive the exact amout of my BTC back. Somewhy no one gave me an explanation of such a long period of time when I was forced to wait, forced to lose my time (which is equal to money in cryptocurrencies world)...

In all fairness it has to be added that pretty woman Amanda Veilleux added a $50 store credit to my GAWMiners' account, but I have a doubts will I ever use this... There remains a feeling of resentment...

Well, that is my story. All of us can now draw our own conclusions.
2350  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: July 10, 2014, 09:44:26 AM
I just made a heater savings calculation
so 10 antminers (or equivalent kw) would save ~40% of the gas bill. Not bad.
even better if you pay higher nat gas price (i see that it is ~30% higher in new England)
I should pay attention to it here, in Siberia... The winter is getting closer each day...  Roll Eyes
2351  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The last Batch of AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner, Now $1685 per unit on: July 08, 2014, 02:50:56 PM

Or please PM me with this.  Roll Eyes
2352  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer S3 - Profit is Impossible on: July 08, 2014, 08:30:00 AM
May someone explain their rationale for investing in Antminer S3? Maybe something I missed?
All that calculators are for them who will withdraw their just-mined coins and axchange it to "usual money". You missed that BTC exchange ratio should and will inevitably grow. That's all.  Roll Eyes
2353  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide on: July 07, 2014, 10:12:22 AM
Guys, did someone deal with Segree - BitWinkor?
Why they are not in this rating? Is there a reason for not mention them here?

Sorry if this my post should not be posted in this thread...

That's shocking!!

So how should I order a LA100M after reading this?.. Please, LIGHTNINGASIC guys, deal with this ASAP and show us that you are those who we can trust to... At least one positive feedback, one reply which will add a trust points to you... Just take a look at pcfli.  Roll Eyes
Maybe my feedback could be the first confirming that we can make a business with you, but I have completely no any guarantees... And I am not rich enough to risk...

This is a policy Our customers have been extremely happy with, that they can not get anywhere else. Over half our orders are repeat customers Smiley

GAW Miners
Guys, I don't know about any others, but me is rather "extremely unhappy" with your service. Probably this is my personal lack of luck, but I am waiting for refund since July, 13th. You had almost a month to make only one BTC transaction back. I wrote to several people (now I know Thomas, Amanda, and you, Amber...), I have a request in zendesk, I was at hashtrader... "Time is money", and I lost almost a month already. How do you say, "or we pay for your mining time!" - I don't need much (but it could be great, 1 month of 5 Mh/s of scrypt mining - and I would post a glory-post here...), just PLEASE pay me back my BTCs for my cancelled order #9237.

Sure you maybe are extremely busy there, but one month of expectation... For simple (AFAIK) refund...

p.s. your new system gawminers.freshdesk.com seems to be hangy... My ticket is still in "Awaiting your Reply since last 3 days 11 hrs" state while I have answered there one day ago...

Why is the LA90M 5 times more expensive and with a lower hashrate then the LA100M?
Yep, I've asked almost the same question. It looks a little strange. Maybe they'll make it clear soon...
2359  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LIGHTNINGASIC LA100M,100MHS SCRYPT Miner, USD1999; LA1THS, USD1750.shipped out! on: June 30, 2014, 08:18:17 AM

It looks a little illogically to offer a miner "110Mhs Scrypt Miner (1100W) for $11K" and here we see 100 Mhs with only 400 W power consumption and all accessories for only $2K. What can the matter be?
