2361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starting to Think The Bottom May Be Close? on: January 15, 2023, 12:44:18 AM
$20,000 is still the price that we have to look right now, to sustain or not. Seems to be that the price is jumping to $21,000 and then it will just go down very quick. And it's obvious that there are sellers at this price to make some profits.

So it's too early to see where the $20,000 market will lead us. I want it to sustain as for me this is a barrier that we should be getting and the support line. It's that recently we have a lot of events that push the price down but this should be the price where we should be at months ago.

$20,000 Level needs to be maintained since this is crucial point we don't wanna see another bull trap again  Grin the only we need at this position is sideaway and make rally base rally and we should easily touch 25K but in my opinion not gonna touch sooner
2362  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2023 Elliott Wave on: January 14, 2023, 07:13:30 AM

Maybe we gonna see correction first after bump from 20K, 19K and the price stable we can go on to 25K or test resistance first at 23K and question is my elliot wave correct?
2363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starting to Think The Bottom May Be Close? on: January 14, 2023, 06:53:31 AM
So i need to start accumulating more heavily? the answer is No, but accumulating slow and steady yes Dollar Cost Averaging is still the best In my opinion like  in my previous post that bitcoin break 20K level but we need to see if the price can maintain that price is so you can all IN(*just kidding)  Grin do DCA till we see the ATH
2364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price, January. $20000 or above possible? on: January 14, 2023, 05:49:44 AM
we are here guys if the price maintains above 20K we are gonna see 25K level soon, but maintaining in this price will be hard RSI and stochastic showing overbought level so don't all in right know  especially in futures Grin

2365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price, January. $20000 or above possible? on: January 13, 2023, 02:50:32 AM
it possible if break the 19K level I saw a deman/resistance zone in daily timeframe and Stochastic RSI daily timeframe is at overbought level I think we are gonna see the price will down to 18K level to test support if we bounce we might see 20K level but Im optimistic the 20K level happen on end of January or early february
2366  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Core Scientific Mining Company is headed for bankruptcy on: January 13, 2023, 02:36:34 AM
Most of the companies over extended and borrowed at the peak of Bitcoins bull market.
That is true, the Crypto price declining, and combine with high-interest rates from bank.Boom the company will struggle especially with new company. I saw the huge layoff on a major company so a small company will most likely hited too.

OP do you mean https://twitter.com/Core_Scientific I checked the Twitter and the social media pretty much still alive maybe they only filled when everything really going to wrong. I also checked their stock and the price is climbed up
2367  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Miners running Off grid/Solar on: January 13, 2023, 02:29:00 AM
I don't know why but my opinion is maybe the reason only a few people that successfully run miners using Solar is because the Solar panel still very expensive for running multiple miners and when the night comes you need a battery or keep using on-grid electric. Solar panel is for investment in the long-run and most people still okay with on-grid electricity.

I fancied doing this from my campervan. A bigger problem for me would be the internet connection. I could use public WiFi, or tether through my 'phone, but I suspect that these nay be unreliable unless they were monitored frequently.

In my country, there is a dedicated modem that connects to local provide so its like Phone Tethering but I thinks is more reliable
2368  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I want to Mine Bitcoin on: January 13, 2023, 02:19:31 AM
you can't Mine bitcoin with a graphics card, GPU price is indicated to decline but there is not much coin left to be profitable as ETH is currently PoS. and running masternode is very expensive since you need to lock huge amounts of coin first, and then the cost of server cost month is more than 100$ since masternode always need a better VPS Spec
2369  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Buy new mining equipment, don't be penny wise pound foolish! on: January 13, 2023, 02:01:55 AM
Yes, the reason new ASIC comes off it because of the hardware efficiency but I do believe the huge mining farm not gonna replace all of it when the new hardware is out. Instead they are gonna using it till not profitable again or only do a slight profit then they will sell it.

Back a couple years ago I buy some used ASIC but Im doing it for fun only  Grin. If you have cheaper electricity or even free electricity buying a used one is always be a better option.
2370  Economy / Services / Re: Utopia P2P Ecosystem 💎 | Review Campaign 🔎| Participate Now! on: January 12, 2023, 04:14:20 AM

Hello Utopia team glad to be part of review team.

I'm pretty new here I just installed the app couple of days ago but I do already explore the app. I'm not gonna share much of screenshots since everyone already doing it.

Review
- First of all, after installed I just see the app like a hacking app which means is cool it's like in the movie Cheesy (Look at my few screenshots above)
- I'm rarely using all in one app like Utopia usually so this one is super cool
- the built-in fiture like wipe Encrypted container is also needed if you are really a hacker Cheesy or someone needs more privacy combined with IDYLL browser is the best duet combo
- I already test the chat feature and it was smooth like slack
- This might be an unpopular opinion but adding a dark theme and a light theme is always good, Great Job
- I have been tried the Crypto card I Know this a great feature but will be way greater if we can actually make a virtual debit card through the app
Someone please send money tho this address  Grin
- I want to try chest but I don't have a friend yet so I can't test the feature but add in-game app is always a nice idea
- Multiple languages available this is needed since crypto is around the world

Advice
- Make some welcome tutorial that has ballon and shows what feature this or that so new members not confuse after installation and also implement this if there is a major change on the app.
- Or you need a documentation, a small documentation on Gitbook would be great
- This app can do so many things but I do recommend doing advertising in goodle ads or something like that or assigning a marketing team so we can see more people joining utopia.
- Make a wrapped version of CRP coin so we can have a better liquidity and volume. ETH BSC or other layers 2 is good and Dex doesn't require a listing fee.
- Another crypto wallet is also great so we can save much more coin but i would Recomended EVM Chain because that has a lot of user

2372  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Could a small miner actually randomly solve a Bitcoin block on: January 12, 2023, 02:05:47 AM
Small chances but yes you can find a block with USB stick but like NotFuzzyWarm have said that you need a reliable internet connection too.

If I don't mistaken bitmain actually launch a internet router with single LTC chip and they advertising "try your luck" or something like that to mine single Litecoin block which is still a good deal if you have can find one Cheesy
2373  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BitBeer? on: January 12, 2023, 01:50:41 AM
I know there is someone that I have been watched on youtube that run their mining for heating their house but to brewing beer  Cheesy I don't know I think you need other bunch of tool to implement that converting asic heat for brewing a beer.

Oh also there is youtube try to cool their CPU by using Milk, alcohol and other liquid thing on their custom Loop their benchmark sometimes have a good result. But they say that it can hurt their pump and plate that touch directly to CPU like metal or copper. So i think is a bad idea  Grin
2374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mistake I made some years ago on: January 12, 2023, 01:42:54 AM
I just couldn't help myself to laugh and be sad again because I did have the same mistakes way back 2016. Truly, there's a lot here in this forum that had committed the same mistake we did because we just don't really know bitcoin's future and I remember that at that time, scams are just too many to mention that we couldn't figure out anymore which investments are really profitable and true.

Grin Grin Grin Grin Righttt you feel it too hahahah. Oh, by the way, there is dozen of HYIP (High Yield Investment Program) that is obviously a Ponzi Scheme back couple of years ago that offer up to 100% in a week but fool me I do believe that and lose a lot of it, there is actually site that provide hyip monitoring and maybe there is still one or two out there  so better stay out guys there is no getting rich quick  Cheesy
2375  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How badly can natural disasters stop mining operations? on: January 12, 2023, 01:34:57 AM
How badly can natural disasters stop mining operations? In my opinion it well bad as other industry, since crypto mining uses a huge electricity to running their farm if the disaster can cut power grid we pretty much dead, but if only snow comes but it doesn't hurt the power grid is pretty much fine since bitcoin mining is on the internet not real life mine  Cheesy oh flood also maybe can be dangerous since one piece of hardware can cause you thousands of dollar.
2376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin as a new part of the human way of life" on: January 12, 2023, 01:21:54 AM
I know bitcoin in 2014 from my high school friend he actually love gambling  Grin but the money for he do gambling is actually from faucet you know there are dozen of it back a couple years ago.

and then Im interested and start do faucet job It really takes time since one faucet simply gives you only 200-1000 satoshi right. My friend and some of my brother doesn't believe in bitcoin at that time and ignored me that bitcoin might be an online scam.

long story short Im started to know HYIP(high yield investment program) is obviously is ponzi scheme  Grin I lose dozen of it and my blockchain.info account got hacked by phishing faucet hard money that I earn from a couple of months vanished Cry It really hurt me because it took my entire time hahaha. ps. I'm from Indonesia so a single US dollar is worth  Grin

and then I'm starting do freelancing job on this forum as a translator and bitcoin signature like this one and bounty stuff I earned more than 5 Bitcoin at that time and sold all of it (which is stupid if I know today's price is hahaha)
I'm decide to stay away from the crypto space and do some real work for almost 3 years because I don't know how to recover a hacked account.

After that Indonesian sub-forum member told me there is actually a way to recover the hacked account and then I recover it on Jan 2020. March covid hit my country and huge layoff happen in every place and my place I used to work bankrupt but lucky me I have my hero account back and now I'm do full Crypto job (i have been looking real job but with lack experience getting job is hard) and here I am now I don't know this will be a good story but all of this is my legit experience.

2378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking RSA Encryption with Quantum Computer on: January 11, 2023, 02:58:05 AM

Exactly this. New users keep asking this again and again in the forum and it's the same answer again and again. IF RSA gets broken. BTC is going to be the least of the issues. The credit card industry would implode, followed by the banking industry followed by everything else that relies on encryption for transactions. BTC is such a small part of that to make it not worth mentioning.

-Dave

yeah I saw it too and a bunch of it,
and I do believe before its gonna happen bitcoin and the other already creating some new encryption way more secure than RSA beside that quantum is early technology

"Quantum computers are known to be a potential threat to current encryption systems, but the technology is still in its infancy. Researchers typically estimate that it will be many years until quantum computers can crack cryptographic keys — the strings of characters used in an encryption algorithm to protect data — faster than ordinary computers." - https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-023-00017-0

But we will doomed if AI with brain of quantum computer exist  Grin Grin
2379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin AI Generated Images on: January 11, 2023, 02:48:24 AM
Like it or not AI is getting smarter day by day, maybe we are gonna doomed by the AI like some movies said Cheesy But it is good pictures to can be wallpaper on a phone or computer, are those really generated 100% by AI
