2361  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Planning New 100,000-Bolivar Bills Worth Just $0.23 on: October 12, 2020, 07:50:22 AM
See when it comes to cryptocurrencies venezuela is one of those few nations who are actually trying to integrate their economy with the cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately the government is totally incapable of handling any situation there. Government is uneducated, corrupt , fragile, the mismanagement not only killed their own resources which would have made the country very stable and well endowed, they at the same time decreased the overall production rates.
The country doesn't have resources now, there is no import of the needed things , prices are rising ridiculously. It's in a really bad condition right now.
But I believe they should carefully see what steps their are taking this is not only ridiculous, but even worse for the people who would try and get jobs...
2362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impact of the SQUARE and MICROSTRATEGY purchase on: October 12, 2020, 06:11:45 AM
See the thing is when we talk about the positive impact :

They not only cause people who are familiar with these sites to invest but at the same time they increase the price of Bitcoins,  they might even act as a buffer by making sure that the price does not fall down much.

But at the same time it also gives them power as whales to manipulate the market in ways that could be problematic for the long run and the small investors for sure.

But overall I believe if they did hold onto their investments for that long , they are not only supporting the market but a the same time they are even surprisingly beneficial for the whole community.

Plus you are also doing a good job by making sure people know more about these things through social media. Good work.
2363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Curacao licensed casinos banning Curacao residents? on: October 11, 2020, 06:52:58 PM
This is actually very weird. Since they are registering in the same country which does mean that they are going to pay TAXES! . Taxes  are for the people, to be used for them by the governmental body. Therefore I believe not letting the residents of the same country use them is kind of unfair.

If the site is :
Registered
Following the rules
Then I do believe that the residents should be able to use it without any problems.

At the same time I do believe that if cryptocurrencies are not banned there it won't only be a good source of revenue for the users , but it would also be easier and more interesting for the people to engage in it.

The government do need to check their rules again and make them favourable for the people.
2364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lucky Ruby Casino & Resort Now Open on: October 11, 2020, 06:07:27 PM
Everyone, this thread was way back in 2015. It's the reason why you see their Facebook page link isn't working as it was outdated.

And that's not an online casino. They are promoting the place and I'm pretty sure there's no crypto involvement there.

Better forget this thread.

Oh , I just noticed that , I saw everyone commenting and thus thought it would be something new plus it was really weird to have an announcement of offline site here, so had to see what was going on Tongue .
Thank you ❣️
2365  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lucky Ruby Casino & Resort Now Open on: October 11, 2020, 04:54:02 PM
1. *Content isn't available right now* this pops up when we try and open the link

2. If you try and engage with more customers and people who are interested in your casino I believe you would go a long way , answer their questions once in a while

3. You need to state where it's situated since hotel+sauna is something we cannot for sure enjoy online

4. You have to understand that this is bitcoin forum , so I believe you want your casino connected with cryptocurrencies? If not I think you might add payments by cryptocurrencies possible since it would not only increase the people who would come there but I believe it would also distinguish your casino from the others.

5. Update your Facebook page , get a website since if it is a casino with a sauna I believe you have to go much more towards professionalism.
2366  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Treasuries on: October 11, 2020, 04:33:21 PM
And whosever here doubts that bitcoins is being used by big companies should note that:

these are the companies which are willing to share that they have invested in bitcoins.

At the same time :

there are many more companies which are investing in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins but hiding it for their privacy.

Investing in cryptocurrencies is a bit thing for sure now and people have to understand that not even governments can control it. They can regulate but not control.

It's a pretty cool thing to see them developing towards cryptocurrencies. Good luck for your project.

With Bitpanda investing 100.9 million dollars I believe we should be pretty optimistic.
2367  Economy / Economics / Re: Wipe out on crypto vs wipe out on stock market? on: October 11, 2020, 04:07:05 PM
I do believe we cannot wipe out either.

There are people who are good at stock markets and there are people who have their dibs on cryptocurrencies. At the same time if I would have to choose , I believe I would be on the side of cryptocurrencies for sure.

In this pandemic we have seen a massive dip in the stock market, the price is decreasing and at the same time people would have to wait for a year to make sure they don't loose much money.

But when it comes to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins. They did tremendously well during the pandemic.

At the same time bitcoins have not shown a negative decline and therefore I do believe that, cryptocurrencies are a lot more important as compared to stock markets. Even in value, usage, etc...
2368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the U.S. Presidential Election 2020 with Bitcoin on: October 11, 2020, 01:26:29 PM
I believe Trump and Joe Biden do have a contest here but we should not just ignored the other candidates , it is not only fair but also disrespectful for them since I do believe that those candidates are way more suited for this job as compared to a orange racist and a corrupt leader.

According to the google , there are around 1214 people who are standing for the elections.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/election-us-2020-54334173

The list is endless. But I wanted to ask one question here : Why did people never choose a woman ?

The US itself is a narrow minded nation but I think we can make a change. If you see the history of the US presidents it's laughable. People would prefer choosing Trump! Instead of a woman or a qualified man much more capable of handling the politics.

We should gamble on it and at the same time we need to spread the word and try and change the air around the Presidential elections.

Back to the question : I am aware that betfair is providing what you are looking for but I haven't tried it yet
2369  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | Art Contest "Hand Drawn" - $1250 up for grabs! Ends October 5th on: October 11, 2020, 12:50:42 PM
Congratulation to the winners! Cheesy Cheesy

@Maus0728
@Pro Ads
@Darkelf11

Well, congratulation to these lucky winners, especially mention @Mauso, bro you are an amazing artist, [I felt jealous bro]--you almost won everything. If there is next contest of Roobet, I will suggest not to include the previous winners and give chance to others. Lol.

Better luck next time if there is, I wont give up submitting my entry.
Great work of Hhampuz by hosting all of these contest of Roobet.

Congratulations to all the winners but I do believe this would be essentially unfair for the winners to be excluded. Since it's a competition and should be equal for all.

2370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A website to Buy BTC with Virtual card (visa/MasterCard) ? on: October 10, 2020, 06:50:13 PM
Hello
I do believe that you have to understand that 5$ is extremely low thus you would pay more free in percentage of you want to buy bitcoins from visa/master card.

At the same time it's always helpful if you do state your country while asking questions like this since people would be able to share their own personal experience with you.

At the same time you can always add money through visa/master card in an exchange wallet (use offline) , then convert them into any crypto.

I believe the best option for 5$ would be P2P transactions.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Did anyone bet on the sharks yet ? on: October 09, 2020, 11:12:27 PM
So apparently I came across a very interesting news : People are now betting on The Great White Sharks.
It's not violent, it's not like Fighting or something but rather betting on their migration journeys.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/betting-great-white-shark-migration-ocearch-mybookie-coronavirus-a9603201.html

People think this would save and at the same time positively impact the conversation of the sharks .
Adding these two is certainly a very different things and it is the first time that I have ever heard of thing like this.

I really liked how they are trying to engage people during pandemic through gambling to do something positive.

Quote
With most public sports out of commission because of the coronavirus pandemic, the betting market has been thin in recent months. Wagering on sharks could give gamblers an outlet, and some conservationists wonder if it might result in positive press for oft-maligned great whites. But others worry about the ethical implications of merging these two disparate pursuits – and a tumultuous week of conversations reveals that MyBookie might have bungled its first foray into shark speculating.
2372  Economy / Services / Re: Help the Homeless animals!! Urgent adoption needed !! on: October 09, 2020, 05:37:42 PM

Here is the receipt of 644.45 uah

This is my cat inspecting whatever I brought. 🤣

So we have 13* baby food for kittens
5 dry food for dogs
3 medium priced food for old cats
2 Opti meal for cats who are sick or have digestive issues
1 tab - wet food for dogs to give them medicines.
1 medium-low priced food for cats who are young.

Please just use translate for all this ❤️

This is Jack

So few animals are at home and few we go and feed everyday

This is Mr. Black panther
...
We have many street ones

Thank you again , this would be enough for a week 💕
_*_

The baby food is for the Foster kittens + optimeal because most of them are sick. We take the sick ones who have no chance of surviving.

We already paid for this week for mom dog and her puppies and rest for the next week we will send her a wet food or dry food or maybe transfer money to the overexposure.

-*-

I had 721 uah but 80 uah gets deducted when you take cash out , I had to do that because here you cannot find shops with visa payment everywhere.

721-80= 641 uah
-*-

Thank you again 💞
We will go to the food drive like every night and feed the other dogs , we generally go around 12 at night otherwise some people apparently don't like that we feed street animals and are ready to fight anytime and we over the years have decided that going at 12am like ghosts saves us some trouble. 🤣

2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 09, 2020, 01:29:03 PM
Unfortunately this is a pandemic and it's bound to happen, this is the reason why matches are delayed for a while in other countries . I believe in the near future we might be able to understand for a fact that it's not good for sports and games to open during pandemic. You cannot expect the players to get a mask and run after the ball.

Not only the players might be scared , they might also be in a huge risk of getting the virus , since people can be asymptomatic and this spread it.
I saw some news lately that Chinese was banned for match fixing in tournament. 3 of them caught throwing the game so it means that the rest of the team don't know what's going on and playing well. So it will be very hard for us to know whether they are really throwing the game. Check my link below for source.

https://afkgaming.com/articles/dota2/News/4346-match-fixing-na-team-disqualified-from-bts-pro-series-2

And also, I watch some streams from Dota2 professional players that they are playing sports betting during there streams. There's a chance that they might purposely lose the game especially if they are the strongest team while they have placed bet.
I've seen a few pro players promote betting sites on their live streams but I doubt they'll throw their matches on purpose when they're only getting paid to promote it. These weird matches only happen on small tournaments and lesser known teams that's why it's always best to bet on the popular tournaments with bigger prizepools (esl, dotapit, etc) and top teams when they're unlikely to throw their games.
Not only that , there are countries who are firmly banning the players if they do take part in betting etc... Especially during pandemic the government is getting super strict.

Right now we are seeing an alliance between many countries to help develop the vaccination better and faster : COVAX . So I believe players can get a shot first if the economy is that dependent on their health?
2374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and exchngers and others on: October 09, 2020, 08:51:50 AM
Whosoever buys coins from an exchange should not keep them in there for long periods of time.

You need to send it to a safe location! A wallet whose keys you do have.

At the same time you don't have to actually use a exchange that would be this suspicious, therefore I believe  if you have to ask such questions, you have to think about using good one's.

Check the review of the website before using it and make sure that you are using something reliable, something which many people trusts.

Even if you have to pay a little more fee I believe security is the prime importance.

Not much, but I hope it will help you a bit Wink. Thanks for helping these animals, I'm sure they love you. I have cat and dog adopted from shelter and it was great decision. I also still trying to support local animal shelter in my city, I see how much people there are doing without getting paid for it.
Hello
Thank you so much for you generosity. After encashing and after converting the USD into UAH , I would get around 24$ in cash , including the visa debit charges and such.

Here is the amount^

It would be around 24$=650 uah approximately , which is more than enough for the food of a week. Including the food of the stray animal we feed. Karma and Sonia , so I believe today we will buy some food for them too.

Some of this would go to nearest village where we are keeping mom and the puppies for them.

After class and everything I would upload the receipt by today.

Again thank you so much.
2376  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest problem Now with currencies on: October 08, 2020, 11:11:19 PM
I believe the country you are talking about does have serious issues but at the same time I believe :

In the future they would improve their situation for sure.

If a country is dealing with poverty at this level , they do for sure needs a lot of work, support and at the same time they need good governance. Until and unless the government and the people work together to eradicate this from their country I believe they still would have this problem in the near future.

There are other countries like you mentioned where one person from each family has to go to work abroad since the country's own value is very low. Plus there the prices of something as simple as *toilet paper are like half the salary they pay to their workers , it was a pretty amazing documentary , I would try and link it down below if I find it again.

But I believe the country needs:
Education
Good governance
Time
Support
2377  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest] Logo designing for a fashion brand on: October 08, 2020, 07:37:33 PM

I believe it's past the deadline , but still I was trying something just found a new software this I wanted to combine line art in kind of a fashion sense.
[ Again , no background, no nothing, drew it from the scratch ]
If someone have any problems regarding this please let me know , also at the same time I had to use a circle ⭕ since it's like the most basic and divide thus please because I wanted one part for both sexes.

{Submitted this to replace the entries before}

- Its super basic and kind of artistically appealing for me , which combines the fashion and at the same time simplicity.

I drew the guy and the girl without lifting the pen , except for the lips since it was impossible for me to get it right. Plus even the design in the circle is hand drawn.

2378  Economy / Economics / Re: Square invests 50 million USD in BTC: instrument of economic empowerment on: October 08, 2020, 05:39:03 PM
It seems bitcoin market responded quickly on this. The price is almost 2.6% higher alrrady and showing an upward trend. I am frankly not surprised by this step of Square because it's CEO Jack Dorsey is a long time bitcoin bull. They would have anyway jumped into this game sooner or later. It's probably the stakeholders approval received recently on spending this huge sum on bitcoin.

Cheers market!

Since it was a direct impact of : Demand and supply plus positive news , I believe we were able to get through the damage that some people think Trump did, due to him catching the virus.

I'm trying to remember what they do, are they a payment processing firm?

1% seems both tiny and huge at the same time. I don't think many companies have done similar with gold or something like that recently...

They are a payment processor. In addition to that they are quite bitcoin friendly, as they allow their customer to buy bitcoin with their app. So they are constantly buying bitcoin for their clients.
This time they decided to put they money where their mouth is.

Regarding 1%, I think in the future no major firm will have less than 1% of their assets in Bitcoin.

I still believe 1% is comparatively low, If they do trust bitcoins I think they can very easily go till 3-5% , but then again it's better to be safe than sorry and an investment during pandemic is always something that needs a lot of care .

This is very good for Crypto, I believe we will start seeing many f these tech companies follow suit, it doesn't make sense not to take the risk, 1% of your capital in BTC could be what would save the company in future, this just make me thing the $100k per BTC is very conservative

I believe tech-companies are the ones who have to support cryptocurrencies the most , technology is something that does have a hard time being accepted every once in a while and therefore I believe that we have to give them kudos for doing this for sure.

But unfortunately tech companies are most of the times too competitive to even see the big picture.

- The IT sector needs : support plus if these tech companies won't do that I believe no one will.

2379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries? on: October 08, 2020, 03:33:28 PM
Using VPN can cause a serious harm for your profile. If you are using it and the casino have a no VPN policy, you can loose all your funds and even be banned from further use.

I believe before doing this , the casinos should not let players even play , since when you say how the issue is coming during the withdrawal of funds I believe this looks bad on the part of the casino itself.

1. Casinos needs to regulate it primarily level , people from the restricted countries should not be able to play withdrawal is something else.

2. People should not use VPN to access any services like these since they can very easily be spotted thus it would cause problems for them only.

_*_

But then again I agree with the point that players might use VPN to protect their privacy since gambling in cryptocurrencies values privacy a lot. But I do think that if this happens and players are getting caught using the VPN , they should ask them for their nationality proof before banning and freezing their funds.
