Seems like the project isn't getting the much needed attention from the community. The funds raised is just too poor <$100K. I think what the team needs at this point is a solid marketing plan and continous development of the platform. If things continue this way, The project might just fail just before it even gets started due to insufficient funds to carry out operations.
Well, a social network on its own is not o appealing, they need the marketing here, but I think they will just do the project anyway, that will make the investors happy to know that the project is not being canceled. A referral system may be beneficial most of the times but handling it smartly is a tough task to do. I hope sphere team have planned something different to attract new investors as the market is really low right now.
In social media you refer your friends even without incentives . If the platform is good , people will flock in Sometimes wins the masses. look at microsoft, was a shitty operating system, but it won, not because of the quality. 7,99$ - Is this premium account during 1 month ? If to take this at 3 month or year, it will be possible to save money. I hope cryptoflix can do something similar - 8 dollars it's not expensive for this service. Admin have already said that subscription fees will not. Will be able to buy every film. That's a really interesting point you bring up there. Many afflictions aren't physical but mental. In the white paper they only talk about mental health in a legal way. It's harder to diagnose because the data from the patient can be affected by their mental state. It is definitely possible for a machine learning algo to match sets of symptoms with a diagnosis. The problem is at the patient level, the patient often cannot describe their symptoms accurately (especially in mental issues). In terms of information, garbage-in equals garbage-out. I think the method to identify users is such a complex subject it's worthy of its own project. And yes, such projects already exist. Repu team may be underestimating this subject, maybe it's better for them to partner up.

i hope after the ico many attracting businesses will join the Repu Smart reputation management .  I am sure that this will happen in the near future. We have to believe and wait for success. There is a lot of potential in the project and its functions, and this is sure to be seen by the external public to Crypto, it will be even better if they expand the marketing outside the channels and establish a reputed partnership with influence over other brands Correct but there is no point in going beyond crypto because most of the things that are non-crypto today will become crypto in the future. I would also like to know where that country is most of 3rd world country have a very slow internet connection, streaming movies will sometime took longer waiting than streaming.
I would like to know it as well since here in my country the speed of internet is a bit slower. I wish there is a way to access the platform normally even with such connections speed. If I'm not mistaken they told that their platform will work lower speeds too. But it was some pages ago and i'm afraid it is impossible to find again. Then a demo would be nice to test how it works with low speed. That way each one can draw his conclusions. To be honest I have no idea how you can watch movies in 4K resolution at low speeds of Internet. As for me it is simply not possible) or take forever) Many user are sitting 2-3 m far away from their display and wouldnt need 4k. I never needed 4k, maybe it will change in the future, but till now, I dont miss it. 4K is only nice to have but of course not needed. But I think the internet speed will be much faster in a few years and then it will be no problem to watch 4K. This depends on what you are accessing, the CryptoFilx platform to watch movies or streams.That's why quality matters. 4K at low internet speeds? I do not think I'll live to see this. That's true, we all know how hard it is. Try to get your friends to switch to a new messenger app for instance.  I think Sphere can do it though. You are right to force people to change something familiar is very difficult. Therefore, you will need to make a lot of effort that would lure people to the platform! That's so true. You cannot even bring your friends to a new massager like telegram. I have experienced that from first hand. It all depends on quality and accessibility of platform. i believe that in the sector(reviews/reputations) there is no serious operator that can be trusted, perhaps repu can fill this gap by gaining the trust of users with its work over time and perhaps even with some prestigious partnership...

To be honest, it doesn’t take that long to read it. There’s no need to read it like a novel, it’s normal to skim read through less important/interesting sections. It depends strongly on your english skills. For me its not so easy to skim read. But you are right, you can easily jump to the section, which you are interested in. There is no translated whitepaper yet? i saw many people reserved the translation bounty on the first page of the bounty thread. Markspace is one of the most high-growing companies on the vr/ar market. They are opening a new chapter in history of internet. I still wonder how much time it would to begin operate at fully capacity? Accordingly to the roadmap, in 2020 the project will be totally finished. I think it is a small time for such an ambitious project.
No, I think the project will be finished much faster. Developers have a great team. I think they can work faster and harder. This is a questionable assumption. Serious project have to be planed. Maybe some dates will be postponed, but not in a global sense. Markspace is not the only one vr project. Developers better hurry, if they want to get ahead of other platforms. Yes i also think that some partnerships could be very good for cryptoflix, like mainstream studios. There is a lot to do with movies industry, it will be a brand new concept to use crypto to watch and fund film.
Maybe they can have a partnership with some potential companies/people that missed a chance to have partnership with Netflix. there are no guarantee at the moment this is going to be a huge success like netflix you are right, but also it could be bigger than netflix ? I am planning to finish whitepaper before 2025:) seriously do we have another example like 280 paged whitepaper? Never seen a whitepaper over 60 pages before this project. I think it would have been better if they would have called it not a whitepaper. I think the name doesn't fit. True, it's a very very big technical paper.. I welcome the fact that they have done their due diligence but normal people will never read this. I guess they want to go beyond the traditional small-time investors and more. Considering they are asking trying to raise a couple of 100 mil, they will need all they can get - from whales to individual investors but most importantly institutional investors (Bitcoin Futures and all) from the wall street who are particular about the whole due diligence. Agree. Facebook is control by #Mark and his team/company. We all want freedom and Sphere social may be the answer! decentralization and not controlled by any one!! If facebook stuck with their current system, for sure it will be easier for sphere to beat it. Blockchain technology is better than the traditional one! It depends. Dont wanna draw the devil to the wall but what will happen with Sphere when they ban blockchain and its products? In these days, there should be a backpu plan for such scenarios Why would they ban blockchain and its products? The technology has spread enough already and I don't think anybody has powers enough to just ban it. They might have done it in early stages, but now I think it's already too late. Airdrop or not what really matters is that they will deliver on the product and show they are on the right path to do so when the mvp/demo comes out
So no mvp now ? even those with a demo is struggling to get funded I think REPU won't be one of them which struggles to get funding. REPU can create lots of partnerships in hr, restaurant,movie etc. They'll deliver what they offered to investors. If they achieve to get something better than google their market could be huge. Will be hard but with a good idea, it's achievable. Better than google? I don't think you can compare both services... they are totally different. If the product is good and they promote it properly I think that an airdrop is not necessary. Exactly what I thought! Focus on marketing and avoid unnecessary thing like airdrops |

I just noticed now there are already more than 11k people in it, not bad the popularity of the project is growing every day. Telegram clear confirmation of this. But you need to consider the fact that some people came because of Airdrops Before the airdrop they had around 700 people in the channel, now almost 13k, so it's more than 'some' people who joined because of the airdrop Anyway, if it helps to become more known and popular it's a good thing. I did not know about airdrop but I still have joined because I see this project as an interesting and promising one. Airdrop is ok of course, still, that was not the main reason Crazy how many people are now on the airdrop train. I think with this high numbers an individual person will not get that much from the airdrop. That's the idea, I think. But it's good for the project, more people get to know about it. Airdrops are still very effective in spreading the word. I said it many times and I said it one more time - airdrops means token dumps On the one hand it might be true that airdrops lead to dumps, but distribution is also very important. The more people participate in an airdrop the better the distribution becomes. You also do not want all the tokens concentrated in a few people's wallets. I know that whales can be dangerous for projects and everything should be decentralized but there were many projects where bounty hunters just after ico dumped tokens so hard that it caused fud and further dumping |
