241  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling addiction is not about the money you could win; it's about the "win" it on: April 03, 2024, 07:48:22 AM
When I started gambling my mindset is solely about winning some cash to better my life but the more I gamble, the more
I think socialization+joy+drinking+gambling is satisfaction to them. What do you think?
You already stated it; what more will be the reason for rich people or wealthy people to choose to gamble? simple as that they want to waste their money just to satisfy themselves, for pleasure, of course. Why do they get addicted? also simple because they have the means to continue playing despite losing too much, but as we know, money and wealth are not infinite, so if they continue to waste money on gambling, then at some point they will stumble and may lose their luxurious life.

But in their lives, one thing we only know is that they are just people who found fun and satisfaction in gambling; they are the ones who didn't take gambling seriously because, in their minds, it was just a hobby, and no matter how much they could waste, as long as they were enjoying themselves, they would continue and would not stop until their end point.
242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Make Money Trading, Even When You Are Wrong on: April 02, 2024, 11:57:25 PM
Little advice don't believe in what you are seeing in internet or youtube, I mean dont just believe them thinking that what happens to them will also happens to you, you are different from them, maybe the strategy you saw in YouTube is working for him but it doesnt mean it will work for you, you are just putting yourself in a tight and bad situation incase you take inspiration from his strategy, maybe use it as a reference and try do trading and if you notice that its not working for you then stop, all traders have their unique way of trading based on their capabilities and skills dont just copy others strategy and thimking it will work for you. Do your own research, make your skill grow in trading and widen your knowledge about trading stuff in that way you will come up with your own strategy in trading and how will you approach the market.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I learned something new from Bitcoin today on: April 02, 2024, 11:06:12 PM
I learned something new today. I started bitcoin trading with 100 $ I made 10$ from here and I lost 11$ gambling with 100$ now I don't call gambling bad because I don't understand and I don't have patience to play the game and past I easily from bitcoin made 10$ profit now which one should i choose you say i know a man need bitcoins in future but still a man can be addicted to gambling and to all of you i want to say none of you should be addicted to anything and not to gambling and you are more Trade Bitcoin and see your future shine.

Most people know that gambling cannot be considered a source of income. Unless you rely on luck to get income, you can enter the gambling category. That's why, if you know that the chances of losing in gambling are high, why would you gamble with your capital that you want to grow?

So if you want to grow the capital you have, it's really good to dedicate it to trading and choose assets that you want to hold long-term. Because there are many digital currencies that can give us earnings, Bitcoin is not the only one in this field.
Exactly, that's why I don't get thos who gamble with their currencies or bitcoin because its a waste that they are using their crupto currency assets to gamble and losing it, I think gambling is just for fun and entertainment only nothing more nothing less, I don't think that gambling will ever be a good source of income, yes you might get or win a pretty good amount of money in gambling that could also change your life but that is if you are lucky enough and you hit that luck but as we kmow not all of us are lucky, so its more practical to do bitcoin investment or bitcoin trading than gambling, there is a big risk in trading but its more efficient than losing your money just because of gambling. At least in trading you did your best and you knew you could learn and grow more, and if that happens then it will be paid off by your earnings through trading.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: how to survive inflation and economy hardship on: April 02, 2024, 10:35:06 PM
For me cutting down expenses would be another way of adding value to our money. Like cutting down the rate we eat, for those that spend alot on food, you can do better without over eating. the way we buy unnecessary items that has no value, when we have other useful things to do with money. So  lets focus on the top priorities, expecially things that will bring more Money.

What do you guys think about this? Would this be helpful? And what do you think will help us in this time of economic hardship?
Cutting down expenses may really help in reducing expenses in order to survive in this high-inflation economy we are facing right now, but do you think it is enough? What if inflation keeps on increasing? Will you cut expenses until you have nothing to eat anymore? Like what is happening right now with the products, in order to maintain the price of the goods, they are reducing the serving or making the products smaller. Later on, we might see a smaller bit of that product. One solution that an individual may do is to have another source of income in order to keep on surviving in this economy. I know it may be hard as you may have a double job, but, in this advanced era, you can do online jobs or online side hustles together with your stable job. In that way, you can have more income or money to support your needs and wants. In this era, we are the ones that should be doing our own luck and ways to survive.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countdown to the 4th Bitcoin halving.. what should we expect? on: April 02, 2024, 10:12:17 PM
One thing I always say is that expectations hurt.
There is nothing wrong with thinking positively and being optimistic, but too many expectations will only disappoint you. It can be even more painful when you want to invest in projects that pay off over a long period. We should keep our minds ready for any situation because trading is not something in which you will get fixed and constant profit.
You are right In investing relying entirely on your own judgment is nothing short of a laughing stock.  In every investment there is the fear of profit or loss, but judicious thought and experience can be beneficial to us.  Always remember not just relying on guesswork, but making decisions with thorough details and analysis.  As in every trade there is risk in investing, but controlling our psychology is the secret to our success.  We investments should always be made keeping in mind your financial goals and risk tolerance.
.This coming halving event, I'm sure it will be hyped again and many investors or new investors will surely buy bitcoijnin its high price the scary part is those who are not experience enough in investing and bitcoin and they might sell their bitcoin right away if theu saw it dip even just a little bit and this is a common mistakes of those new investors that invest or briught bitcoin out of nowhere, they are just following the trend or the hype and engaging in bitcoin without proper analysis in the market, we can't blame them but the thing is it will affect the movement of the bitcoin, but what I expect in the halving event is that it might cause of bitcoin's skyrocketing of price but of course we or I'm not 100% sure if it will happen, its just baded on my analysis it might happen but let's see, market is unpredictable, few days left we will witness either good or bad news.
246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: April 02, 2024, 09:51:06 PM
I am in crypto for a few years and i have good knowledge of the crypto markets and their behavior. For the past few years, I am mostly invested in some top crypto project and held it till I get decent profits. You can say i am a holder. Now i want to try something different. I want to try day trading methods to generate a daily income from the spot market.

Is that even possible to earn 50$-100$ every day with spot trading? If yes then what methods you are using and how do you manage your risk?
Since you have been in cryptocurrency for years and have a good understanding of the market. Since you have experience in cryptocurrencies, you know how risky trading is. Whether you can earn $50 to $100 per day with Spot trading will depend on your complete trading skills. I don't use trading method to increase investment, I hold investment in my crypto investment until profit is coming from it. If you choose trading to innovate in the field of investment, you need to be very patient, gain a lot of knowledge. I mean if you have extra money which you don't mind losing then with that amount you engage in trading.

Thus, trading everyday and earning even a minimum of $50 is very hard what more aiming to earn $100 a day, you can trade everyday yes, you can do day trading but remember you will not always have a win trade or gain profit from your trade, no matter how skillful or knowledgeable are you in trading you will still experience the lose trade, even experts in trading saying that trading is very hard as the currency or market is a very complex and volatile market, so anytime it can changes even you have an higher percentage of accuracy in your analysis or technical analysis everything could change because of the movements in the market youre trading, so maybe aim to atleast earn even small profit everyday, sont set a minimum profit because you will only end up chasing that and might experience more lose than profitable trade, anyway goodluck in your trading career, give some updates sometimes.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times all-in save your bankroll? on: April 02, 2024, 08:59:47 PM
Well, yeah I also does all-in in my gambling, I've done it several times nut of course not all is good or a win, but all of thise all-in is played in card games, like poker, baccarat and etc, I don't do luck based casino games like roulettes or skot machines, I do card games because I believed that if you are good with these games then you can increase the chances of winnings or more likely you can win by outsmarting your opponent or the house banker, and I do all-in if I'm confident with my card or analysis I don't just do YOLO or betting all I have in just one round without a reason, I've never done that, all my all-in is came up because I saw a chances of winning, but like I said it will not always go on your way. Do I still do that all-in thing? Yes, of course, especially now that I have multiple side jobs, I can sometimes have the confidence to do all-in, but of course my funds for gambling are extra money, so it's okay if I lose as long as it does not affect my financial state.
248  Other / Off-topic / Re: The challenges of protecting children from gambling on: April 02, 2024, 02:54:06 PM
Sad but truth reality, no matter what discussion we will do if this topic and opinions will not reach those parents or children thay is currently being involved in gambling then this discussion is useless, not all peopme or gamblers can see or even know this forum, so what you are saying here about preventing younger age to gamble or educating the parents and children to be more responsible and avoid gambling, you should also do that, dont just talk and do a movement, raise a campaign or spread awareness in that way even in a small deed you can touch some parents or even gamblers that is exposed to gambling at younger age. So take action do some of your part be a voice for those who wants to spread awareness in those children that is already exposed and doing what they think is entertaining and good for them.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why technical analysis is not reliable on: April 02, 2024, 08:19:33 AM
technical analysis is a useful tool for traders, but we have to consider it's limitations. Technical analysis is basically based on assumption about the past market statistics and data, without putting into consideration other external factors . So traders should not 100 percent rely on technical analysis, they should use it together with other methods of analysis.
 Some of its limitations includes
1.it is based on assumptions about past market trends, gotten from the past market price and  volume data
2.it is a backward tool subject to interpretation from different traders.
3.Technical analysis will not provide the full details of the market,  that is putting economic and global events into consideration,
so traders should put all these factors into consideration before making an investment decisions using technical analysis.
That's why there are other tools used by traders, such as "indicators,"  "trends," and, of course, the current state of the economy related to a currency. If it's crypto trading, then news about the currency and the "trend" is one of the tools being used by traders.

it doesn't mean that a traders is using technical analysis is that they are plotting their chart pattern based on the previous movement of the currency, that's not the always case, it depends on what kind of trader are you, and depends on the market time frame, I'm not a very expert traders but I know the basics and beyond that, so if for you technical analysis is not reliable then try to trade without one let's see how can you trade without reference or guide, technical analysis is surely not a 100% accurate but this tools is used in order to have a reference or hint on what will be the next movement of the market, and their assumption or predictions is being used with thinking and fair decision making.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT BRAG ABOUT YOUR BITCOIN on: April 02, 2024, 07:16:35 AM
Telling people around you about Bitcoin doesn't mean they will have access to your Bitcoin without your permission, and if you can flash back how you got to know Bitcoin, do you have access to the person that introduced you to Bitcoin? No. All you need to do, if  you want to spread the goodnews about Bitcoin to your family members or friends, don't show them your personal details and without them know your password and your seeds phrase, it will be difficult for them to touch your coins in your wallet. I think, many investors has sold their Bitcoin when the price hit $73,000 last month to make a passive income, and the market price is still struggling to hit back the price so that those who are still holding can use the opportunity to release their Bitcoin for sale.
True, but the most efficient and peaceful way of living while you are doing and enjoying the benefits of bitcoin, is to stay lowkey, no matter what other's will say about bitcoin or no matter how other people can flex their earnings in bitcoin its better to stay low profile so no one will bother you and also you will keep your assets safe, because a little information can be used and used as advantage to hacked you or steal anything from you, especially in social media, many with malicious intents are scattered in social media gathering and using the information's they are getting there so if you really want to be safe then don't flex or share anything about bitcoin in your social medias or anything in internet. That's how I manage to be safe against hackers or people whose intention is to steal from you or take advantage of your information and use it to scam you.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you dispose of a steel plate seed backup? on: April 01, 2024, 11:59:26 PM
I don't believe that situation will come to destroy your seed phrase, which is on a steel plate. But if such a situation comes up and I need to destroy it totally, then I would make it into many pieces by cutting it through a grinder or something else and through different places. But for a better solution, just don't use it after making it empty. But everything depends on the situation and timing. Each case will have a different solution. I hope that situation will not come to me, and I don't use steel plates to write seed phrases.
Sounds like a lot of work, I think there's someone who already suggesting about melting the metal plate by heating it up to the point that the metal will turn to red, in that way you can Platten the plate and erase the seed phrase that is written there.
but you can make it easier by changing your wallet, I mean make another wallet and transfer your funds there in that way even someone can access that seed phrase and manage to open it, they will get nothing at all, but the thing is it sounds funny that someone really make their seed phrase backup written in a steel plate that is some a hard back up storage there haha.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Dreams of a Bitcoin Circular Economy in my Country on: April 01, 2024, 11:38:46 PM
You need to accept it, bitcoin being main stream or being adopted and using in the society or in a country will be a very long hourney, yes we could see that it is possible but do mund that implementing bitcoin will not be as easy as it looks, there are many things need to be considered, especially in financial, not all people are open and known to bitcoin or any crypto currency.

if a country will push the adoptation and accepting of bitcoin payment then I'm sure many businesses that will also accept it may have a hard time dealing with the number one problem in bitcoin transaction, hugh transaction fees, if there will be developed that could make the bitcoin transfer more faster and cheaper maybe it can be implemented with ease but that's not the case as we know fees is the most common problem in crypto currency or in bitcoin rather.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local/Traditional Gambling Spots on: April 01, 2024, 10:57:54 PM

Have you visited the traditional gambling sport  in your place? How do the traditional gambling games and spots in your country look? Have you gambled the local way?  How was your experience, then?

I can even still hear other better when you win, they would ask for "balato" money share when you win Roll Eyes.
This is what I have the most. I experience going to traditional gambling spots, including cockfighting and horseback riding, but what is remarkable to me is that in my country we have a traditional place called "Perya," wherein it's like an amusement part but more traditional. There you can see different games for kids or adults, and it also includes gambling games. The most popular is "colour game," which is somewhat similar to Russian rollete.

In this colour game, you have a table where you put your money in a colour you think will be shown in the 3 dice that will be rolled. The majority of the colour in the 3 dice will be the winning colour, and if you have the right bet, then you win 2x of your bet. But I have one experience that I won in that colour game, but I heard this phrase "balato," or in English, meaning people are asking for a share of your winnings, which I hate the most because it became a norm in our country, but I don't want that thing. Maybe if you are very close to me, but if not, then don't expect. That's why I prefer online gambling now, less social interaction.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: The benefits of risk taking on: April 01, 2024, 10:35:25 PM
Well if we are going to take the risks then there must be big rewards for it. To risk making your own business can be a big reward if we do it right.
But it can also make us lose all of our investment.  The most wealthy people in this world did have to take risks.
But we must remember if we do take the risk we can not always get big profits from that. There is a risk we will not be successful like other people that did take risks.
That skeptism whether or not we can make fortunes from risk taking is the reason we should endeavour to only take calculated risks . You only take risk where the possibility of success is upto 70% and above. If you take risk which the success and failure percentage is 50:50, it could possibly be called gambling . I have taken so many uncalculated risks in the past and paid darely for it and that has limited me from take even risks that have high tendency for success.
Gambling can't be even in 50:50 percentage, in my opinion, gambling is more on losing money than earning from it even 50 percentage winrate cannot achived to that, that's why I dont get people or gamblers that are risking their money in gambling, some people is risking their last money or important money to bet or do gamble hopung to earn a lot of money to have a chance of turning its life but in realitg that's not how what risk we should tale, you are right calculated risk is the risk that people should take, before taking the risk we should be able to conduct analysis and calculate the chance of success, factors that will make you succeed or fail, in short calculate it all, analyse everything in order to become successful into something. Life is all about taking risks in order to be successful in life, but we never know what will happen to us.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why most of Exchanges FAIL ? on: April 01, 2024, 09:50:28 PM
As I notice, there are two main reasons why an exchange is not surviving or failing to stay. One of the most common is that the exchange or its owner itself is committing crimes associated with the exchange, as in the case of the OP, the recent one of Kucoin, its owner committing or violating the ban on money laundering, and many more exchanges that do bad things, which is why their exchange also fails.

Second is that, as there are many exchanges existing right now, it is hard for new exchanges to survive. It is like surval at the fittest; you need to be unique or popular in order to maintain your exchange. So,  in short, maintaining an exchange despite the numerous existing exchanges is very hard. You need to become or the owner needs to become innovative in order to attract more people or users and in order to survive, or else they will not last for too long.

256  Other / Off-topic / Re: No interest in gambling if there is no profit or fun to be accountable. on: April 01, 2024, 09:06:16 PM
Money aside, we know gambling is built for fun and entertainment; gambling games are meant for entertaining those people even in the old days, but later on, money is added and it makes gambling games into gambling, and that's the start of the gambling industry.
The thing is, even without fun, will you still play those gambling games? For me, no, what's the point of playing if you are not entertaining and happy at all? If money is the reason, then you will still not be happy; you are just doing it in order to earn money or hoping to win big in gambling, which is, we know how hard it is and how it can cause the miserable life of a gambler, so never forget why you gambled at all in the first place. If it's for fun, don't forget about that, but if it's for money solely, then good luck.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is lack of proof a problem for you or not? on: April 01, 2024, 11:56:26 AM
If you will just exploring either the website or the application of the casino only then you will see that they are verified and legal, almost all legal websites are displaying their proof of legitimacy in their website, sometimes in the "about us" section of the website or in the lower most part of the website and if you are still not satisfied then read the terms and condition of the specific website or application there you will see if a casino website is legal and illegitimate, you just need to explore more in the website because that's your part in securing a safe and legit website where you will play, you need to do it yourself because you will be the one that will make your gambling experience scammer free. Or there are websites that are dedicated to verifying a certain website; you just need to provide the link to a casino website. Just search the internet and you will find many websites that do that.

Quote
“We are heartbroken and will continue to fight for our son.”
That's bad of them, the parents are supporting their child because they don't believe their children is already guilty of the crime committed. The USA judiciary system is very corrupt that's the reason why they always prolong the matters from 2022 till date.
Its sucks Children of such people are also like that. That is, all this blame goes to the training of his parents that they did not train their son that it is not a good thing to cheat poor people and steal their funds and then lie in the court hearing. These people feel sorry for their children but not for these poor people, they were also the children of a mother, their parents must have been sad when their funds were stolen. Or their children committed suicide after losing funds.
I've come through this video Nas Daily Sam Fried Bankman interview. Watching this video, no one will find anything wrong with him. The beginning of the video begins with his thoughts of charity and doing good to the people. I think getting more and more money had deviated his thoughts, and he finally got this punishment. This needs to be a learning experience. So that no one will think of making money out of the poor people's hard earnings.
This kind of people really need to be punished they deserved it, and not just this person but those person that is also doing wrong like scamming or taking advantage of those people who is not that illiterate in crypto currency, but sad reality not all people or organizations that scam people can be discovered or sued because some is being protected by authority or they are using authority to cover their nasty doings, I hope not just in crypto field but also in other aspect in society, those scammers or people who is committing fraud should be punshied fairly and deserved to be locked down in prison for too long. I once become a victim of scammers in crypto currency and I trusted those people but they are heartless and will never listen to what you will say even you said that money is hard earned and has something important to do.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is A Beacon of Hope for the Present and Future on: April 01, 2024, 05:56:13 AM
I do not believe that Bitcoin is the solution and hope for all your economic problems, but rather it has removed the need for banks or any third party to control your money.
True, not all people can understand bitcoin or they could not even utilize and maximize the potential of bitcoin, in short bitcoin is not for everyone, so yeah bitcoin may not be the solution for all people who is facing financial problems or the economy problems, because economy is a bigger problem so we can't expect that bitcoin alone can solve it, and how can bitcoin solve the economy problems if not all people can be able to do bitcoin or earn from it, let's face it, no matter how powerful bitcoin is, if not majority of people can utilize and use it then it doesn't change a thing, right now bitcoin or crypto currency is only know to certain number of people around the world and not all are ready or open to knowing and adopting it. Even with the current price of bitcoin, not all people wanting to invest in it can earn or ride the bull run. Some will, of course, stumble as they don't have proper guidance in navigating bitcoin.
