Agreed... It is still very new, however, a large exchange with lots of volume would definitely help the coin

Don't forget that (most likely based on the voting thread comments) this coin will be capped at 100 Billion, unlike DOGE and many other new ones that will have a set block reward forever...

Yup, again, just like the early days of DOGE... There are people who bought in at 2 sat that are content with a 3x or 4x return... all this does is redistribute the wealth, not a bad thing. We can expect dumping along the way, however, we shall FLAP onward :p

I don't see why it wouldn't be true... FLAP has almost 35BTC in buy orders on two secondary exchanges, which crushes many of the recently-launched coins. There's a sense of community over on Reddit already, and the difficulty has been increasing along with the hashrate, indicating growing demand for it. I think it's smart for Cryptsy to get in now and be the first major exchange on board vs play catchup to another exchange that decided to launch now.

Edit: If it does end up on Cryptsy, please please please refrain from dumping into the orderbook. This coin has way more potential than whatever price it opens at, and we don't want to hurt the validity by doing something stupid, like dumping 10+ million at once.

Just doing a test before they roll it out most likely... The order books on the secondary exchanges are larger than many other recently released coins, and the market cap has already grown to over 306BTC or $208,000... The difficulty is over 40 this morning and support is growing on sites like Reddit. Things are looking flapping awesome for FLAP  :]

I agree that it's a great pool (and one where I've found quite a few blocks ) however, we also need to be careful this pool doesn't consistently represent 50% or greater of the total hashing power on the network. It's not an issue right now, however, earlier this pool had like 60% of the total network for a number of hours.

Weird... are you on 1.0.0.2? I just checked and I synced fine, so most likely it's either an issue of not having the right wallet version, or not having the right nodes configured

The Cudaminer thread is probably the best place to find that info. I know the 780TI is now capable of hitting some pretty impressive hashrates, however, I've only got AMD stuff here, so wouldn't be much use to you :-(

Someone suggested -i 0 -H 1 -lT30x16 however, I have no way to verify if that's the best config (or even a good one)

What pool were you mining on? I agree that it sounds like the pool stayed on the wrong fork after the update to 1.0.0.2 and that is why they coins are unconfirmed. Actual difficulty is over 30 now, so it requires quite a bit of computing power to reach 1,000,000 Flaps now

Yeah, we really need to spread our hashrate out better.... Hash.so is a good pool, however, recently they've been very close to or over 50% of the network due to the fact that there are a LOT of +20MH miners there. Huge miners = good for stability... just not at the same pool
