1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will bounty programs stay with us? on: September 12, 2018, 07:41:38 PM
As long as new projects and coins enter the cryptocurrency world, as well as this forum exists, Bounty programs will run. These new projects and old projects which wish to refine their strategies need the help of bounty hunters to spread the awareness across all over the globe.

Bounty will exist cause it's more beneficial for projects to pay tokens to people for the promotion than pay fiat. The question is how this procedure will transform cause now Bounty doesn't satisfy both bounty players and developers!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook holds ICO ban but allows 'approved' cryptocurrency ads on: September 12, 2018, 07:39:30 PM
The social network has tweaked its financial product scam ban, now allowing ads that promote cryptocurrency and related content from pre-approved advertisers only.

I think it's not a bad thing. It used to provide information more focused on the various projects compared to the simple sale of tokens during the ICO. What do you think about it?

We finally see the news which moves our world closer to the day when cryptocurrency becomes the mass means of economy. Legislative regulation will help to break the boundaries and get rid of fraud!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: September 12, 2018, 07:37:49 PM
We all hoping for recovery so soon cos we want to earn by selling our tokens, but if is not happened after the end of this year it maybe early next year there is cos i am tired of waiting but i know one day if the market be stable again we all regret..

Never hope! It's always better to prepare for the worst cause unfulfilled expectations will lead you to depression! Rely on facts - the new year is coming, and the market won't turn around and let us earn!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: September 12, 2018, 07:34:49 PM
what do you think is the real value of ETH ?

the only usage is for ICOs and they have been dying or losing their market at the very least as they either get banned or people simply stop trusting them anymore.

as for its supply, it is huge already. we have passed 101 million ether already and there is no max amount to it either. we will see it increase indefinitely.

in my opinion the real value of it is visible on ETC so ETH should also be wort the same or at least near that price which is why $50 was my choice.
what do you think?

The market is unpredictable, but I guess, ETH won't fall below 120-150 USD, it's the lower threshold, which may hardly be broken. People, who bought ETH at the price of $5-15, will hold at the price of $50. I've purchased when it was $250, and I still hope to get a profit.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: September 12, 2018, 07:31:26 PM
I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

NOT FAIR.

I agree with you, it's too unfair! But we can't get away from it cause honest people always suffer more than fraudsters! We can only hope that all our docs didn't fall into the wrong hands, and all ICOs were honest and well-protected!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When your token goes down hard, are you going to sell it? on: September 11, 2018, 09:00:53 PM
I will keep holding until i see that future holds nothing for crypto,  then I can think of selling. And before that time I am sure 80% will have already opted out. Currently i still see that future is bright for crypto currency and there is no need to panic

Even if you wanna sell now, this is pointless cause assets have a 70-90% loss. As a matter of fact, coins cost nothing, and if the correction will last long, many projects will die! It's better to take care of the portfolio!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This market is unhealthy? Maybe Not! on: September 11, 2018, 08:38:40 PM
You can say what you like but markets go down when there is no confidence!
If it crashes big time the media will make cryptos look worse than they already have!

But

Things are changing and I believe the Bulls will take Bitcoin to 7K plus and restore confidence!

Bitcoin Forever!

It's cool there're optimistic people even in such a difficult time! We have to work with our portfolios wisely evaluating all the risks and fixing profits. In this case, all drawdowns won't be fearful, even such cruel ones!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought ETH yesterday and guess what happened next on: September 11, 2018, 08:34:04 PM
I invested $85 into ethereum yesterday and after couple hours I lost $10 ,,,does it mean it's not the best time to invest yet and secondly I'll like to ask if that amount is good enough to invest in such a stable coin

$85? Are you serious? Not $100 or 500? What's the point in investing such a small sum? You hoped to get rich soon? To make $1000, you have to invest at least $200-300 at the growing market, you know!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO from Russia on: September 11, 2018, 09:03:49 AM
People what do you think about investment in russian icos?

As I remember there're few good Russian projects. The most popular one is Waves, others are Deex, Winstars which aren't well-known, but they're real projects not a scam. I could hardly find 5-7 projects, that's all! The same situation is with African and Indian startups which tends to cheat and not to work!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: September 10, 2018, 10:58:45 PM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

No doubt this factor is important but not the most necessary one! I always watch rating in Icobench which helps me in making decisions. Ofc, I trust Icodrops which seems to be still incorruptible, and most projects having highs ratings always succeed in the market!
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum block reward reduced on: September 10, 2018, 10:57:35 PM
Hi, Just saw youtube video from voskcoin stating that ethereum block reward is goin to be reduced by 2.

how do you think this will affect the market and what about the network hashrate which eth has do you think it will reduce

what will be the next best  coin which can  compete with ethereum

do you think ethereum will fall down after this update

Friends, tell me, please, what it means in practice. I can't understand this technical question. Is it good or bad? Will it increase the cost of transactions? Will it bring down the miner's interest to ETH? Give me detailed answers, please, if you know Smiley
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins for hold on: September 10, 2018, 10:52:28 PM
What coins do you suggest for long-term holding? Bitcoin and Ethereum excluded.

Cardano, EOS, VeChain or Ontology are those projects I advise you to pay attention to cause each of them can go to the moon and even replace ETH! But today it's better to hold your money in fiat and purchase small amounts of attractive coins after each downfall!
13  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: September 09, 2018, 10:56:29 PM
Yes i do believe crypto currency can help us makes changes especially in business aspect in terms of investing with the help of technology.also it makes changes in the life of all people who take part of it.

Now you're not to think if the cryptocurrency will change the world, but if it'll survive in the nearest 6 months, especially ETH and BTC. It's a hard period, people are sick and tired of manipulations, and there're few people who would like to engage in cryptocurrencies!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: September 09, 2018, 10:52:46 PM
the best way to do right now is to invest on bitcoin and altcoin. most of the ICO's are unpredictable you dont know if the project will be success. too long to wait for the exchange, while buying bitcoin and altcoin are good invest right now. the price are too low and hold it until the price will increase.

I completely agree with you. It's a waste of money to invest in ICOs is such a difficult situation. Most of ICO are ETH-compliant, and ETH is crashing every day. So they won't have money to give your profit back!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex hacked on: September 09, 2018, 10:37:37 PM
Hello,

I just woke up and got an email that someone logged into my Bitfinex account. My balance went down to near zero and i was shocked. I saw no withdraws but I freezed the account immediately.
I checked everything and saw, that someone hacked my account and sold all my cryptos for BTC, then the BTCs were traded from BTC to ZIL back and forwards a lot of time. They were sold low and then bought back high with my account until my balance war near zero.

I wrote to Bitfinex but I don't have an answer until now. What should I do now? Do I have any chance of getting my Coins/Cash back?

Thanks a lot!

OMG! Keep us in the loop - personal experience is very useful! I don't know how to help in this situation(( I wanted to register in the exchange but I'd blacklist it now! Hopefully, you'll get your money back, and if you aren't to blame for the hack, you'll receive compensation!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on the fall of the market. on: September 04, 2018, 05:30:59 PM
Cryptocurrency market has a volatile nature and that's why nobody knows when market can falling and when it will bounce back. I think when market is falling, there is a big chance to buy a Bitcoin or a good potential coins at very low price. And hold them till the market will recovers and whenever your buying coins will come back to their high price, then you sell them and definitely you will get good return.

It's good in theory, but in practice you may face with lots of insoluble problems which will lead you to losses. Moreover, periods of rises and falls may be different. We should take it into account when creating a strategy!
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: September 04, 2018, 05:24:19 PM
my biggest regret in crypto is when im holding too long for 1 coins.
i know the price of that tokens is make enough profit for me.
but im still holding because i think that coins can be higher again than the current price in that time.
but after that the price is going down and down.
and after this case, i know something to learn.
1. dont hope too much
2. dont be greedy
3. sell when you got profit

I make this mistake again and again cause I have many coins I've bought with small amounts of money, and when I'm gonna sell them, they drop in price. So I wait but don't manage to sell again. Guess, it's better to shift to 3-5 coins after these will be sold!
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: September 04, 2018, 05:08:53 PM
There is no proven formula, but getting familiar with the project and the people behind is always a good start. Take your time, explore other ones and give it a space to show if it is a legit project or just another scam. Go in as first as a researcher, later as a bounty seeker or investor.
 Lips sealed Lips sealed

If you wanna understand smth about the project you have to spend much time on learning it. It doesn't mean reading and checking social networks are enough, you have to monitor its activity during 2-3 weeks. It won't guarantee anything but will raise your chances of success very much!
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: September 03, 2018, 10:25:20 PM
Scams everywhere now. Greedy ICOS that for some reason need 20 million dollars for a small project, Ridiculous.  Greed everywhere, thousands of coins that serve no purpose.  This is so far removed from satoshi's vision.  Premine bullshit  scams like onion.  Projects that have no reason to be on a fucking blockchain except to cash in money on the hype.  We need another fucking crash to clear out these shitcoins and scams, and you greedy mfer ICO devs are the cause of this bullshit.

I agree with you too but not only because I want the market to purify but cause I want altcoins to get rid of BTC rate! This time will be very difficult and "bloody" but that's the only way for the cryptomarket to be taken to a new level of prosperity and power!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t just buy a coin 🙈 on: September 03, 2018, 10:17:26 PM
I say the same thing, there are way too many people who are buying coins without knowing what they are buying into, they think that just because it is a cryptocurrency that they are bound to make money from it and that is where a lot of people are wrong. Always make sure that you have done a lot of research into a project before you put your money in it.
deep research is necessary before we make a choice, sometimes the results of the research are still wrong and make us lose in the end, at least think carefully before investing, communicate with various parties that might help you and give you the best advice.
Yes that is right that choosing a good coin for investment is not so easy, for that we have to do a lot of work and study and after that we can become able to choose the right coin for investment. for that you have to work day and night and only then you can become succeeded in your aims.

Sorry, I only partially agree cause many people are not smart enough to become successful traders. I don't want to offend somebody, but that's true. I know many people wasted 10 years to learn to trade, but they were better to do some simple work instead!
