121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are top 10 july 2018 legit ICOs? on: July 16, 2018, 08:38:54 PM
I'd like to warn everybody who read this topic about ORBIS project. The Bounty manager has already been changed, dates have been postponed, and the team has participated in other projects (I've seen their photos in other failure ICOs). Maybe it's not a scam project, but there's no any hype around it. Experience has shown, even if the project gets launched into the market, the prices will fall much, and you lose the major part of your investments.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE OR LITECOIN on: July 14, 2018, 11:55:25 AM
I like ripple. strong coin with a large community and strong coin holders. it makes the ripple volume increase and become the top rank in this year.

Recently many people have said that Ripple dishonestly overprices its tokens. They can do it cause the coin is not decentralized so the developers/owners can dictate the terms of its development and prices. That's what I dislike about this company!
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ? on: July 14, 2018, 11:54:30 AM
I am dividing pieces. hodl, trade, mining. I am so happy this way. I would like to tip. I think you should listen. Do not take too much risk.
It's off the subject, but I'd like to listen to legendary member's opinion. Tell me, please, how is your mining now in such a hard time? What are you mining? Don't you think about giving it up?
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: July 14, 2018, 11:53:48 AM
This is a rather difficult question and I will explain why. Many people know that the last minus 10 percent was caused by the hacking of the Chinese exchange and theft from there a fairly large number of funds and this affected the rate of both Bitcoin and many altcoins and the crypto-currency market fell by 10 percent. That is, to keep money on the stock exchange does not seem to be the best solution, because there are many security issues. On the other hand, wallets are also not so secure, because we've all heard about hacking MEW  and today MEW is the best wallet and I'm sure that this wallet is available for every participant of this forum.
The best on reliability of a purse which now you can buy, it is a hardware wallet. For example, I use the hardware wallet TREZOR, but in the use of this wallet there are nuances, as it is designed only for a certain number of coins.
As a result, I think that it is better to store money still on the wallet, but on the other hand more profitable and cheaper coins can be purchased on the exchange, and the reliability they are approximately the same.

In my point of view, everything depends on a portfolio, aims, and tasks. As for me, I have a lot of small coins divided into small parts on 5-7 different exchanges, and some ETH that I hold in 3-4 mew-wallets (in case of a hack). There's no universal recipe. All I can advise is not to hold all your money in 1 place, even if it's a hardware wallet!
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: July 13, 2018, 05:38:24 PM
not a good idea invest a project for all investment. why not distributing funds between many  projects  ,EOS,ADA,ZIL ,NEO also are good project.

You should understand that there's a flip side to your advice. If a person has 1000 USD, the diversification of such a big number of coins will reduce the chance to make a large profit cause all coins rise differently, and the bigger portfolio is, the smaller the overall growth. The strong diversification is good only when you've got a lot of money!
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins to buy? on: July 13, 2018, 05:38:09 PM
if for long term investment I recommend to buy ETH because ETH has high demand and also often used by many new ICO. so I think ETH will be very good in the future. ETH is also the best altcoin in my opinion.

I guess such topics must be closed after a couple of weeks. Answers after three months are useless. I'm sure the author has already managed to purchase coins and lost his money in the falling market Smiley
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to save my coins and tokens? on: July 12, 2018, 09:20:16 PM
This year doesn't allow me too speak about "how to get some profit", I'm just looking how my money going down and have no idea what to do about that. I'm not a tricky trader or something, just got couple of thousands dollars as a reward for help some good ICO projects. So I don't ask about complicated strategies, my question is more about services allowing to automate "money saving". I would be very gratefull for good suggestions and promise to +Merit them whatever it means Grin

If you have a fortitude, you may try not only to save but also make a profit in the falling market. You may sell on local rises and purchase on local falls. It's also a good money! If not, the best way to save your money is to turn off your notebook and go on vacation without thinking about the market until October! Good luck!
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: July 12, 2018, 09:19:28 PM
The gold times of 2017 with easy x10-20 in just few weeks after the ICO are over. Now we must be much more careful. Still, finance and gambling ICO's are showing great ROI.

The apps with Dapp idea and new blockchain technologies (e.g. quark) have a positive feedback. In general, this is a normal situation. The world's changing, and such new markets are changing 3 times faster. It's a necessity, which protects them against death and decline. It's the only way to survive, everything will be harder if more interesting next!
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: July 11, 2018, 08:41:52 PM
I think mining will not stop. I believe in bitcoin. The question is very good. If stop mining , blockchain technology must first be closed. But it will never happen. Every time the investor is increasing. There are a lot of transactions per second in bitcoin. It will not be traded after it is closed. So mining will never stop.

Mining will exist until it brings a profit to mining pools. Everybody knows, the prices make pools work at a loss. If the price of Bitcoin will fall below $5000, its mining will be unprofitable even for large companies, and the network may stop. Dig a bit in the news and discussions, we have a special thread devoted to mining, and you'll see that everything is not so pleasant.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: July 11, 2018, 08:38:53 PM
As for me, it's not worth complaining at all, because this is an ordinary market situation, the market grew rapidly because of investments, then everyone started to withdraw money and the market collapsed, now it is recovering again, so it's all right, what happens

You're almost right but in practice, it'll be harder because of failures, deceptions, broken promises, large whales and institutional investors dying to grab the part of the market. It's chaotic so you will hardly be able to predict the market development! We have to observe and try to catch a piece of happiness in these muddy cryptocurrency waters.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do now??? on: July 11, 2018, 08:35:12 PM
Now is not the best time for cryptocurrency in general. All the coins struggle to keep the heads above the water. It is time to buy, but the community is really pessimistic this time. so many people leave their portfolios as they are for this dip.

Now the best time is for those coming to the market with a lot of money and those experiencing a similar wave of growth and depression cause only such experienced warriors continue following their plan without paying attention to the general depression, and they will make a profit soon! For others, it's a challenge, which is gonna last long!
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: July 10, 2018, 11:13:02 PM
I think it's worth continuing to invest. The main thing is to carefully study the projects and not to risk a large amount. Invest as much money as you are willing to just loose.

I'd probably give up wasting money unless I remembered the unusually strong rise of all coins at the end of the last year. It keeps me from giving up my work. That's why I keep investing though the market is falling below and below! Very hard time!
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to find the best bounty campaign on: July 10, 2018, 11:12:35 PM
Iam in a hunt for best bounty and airdrop campaigns. I have searched many sites but not got any idea on them. I have come accross many posts in bitcointalk thread but not got where to get a good bounty.

Try to search special bots in Telegram, there're some interesting ones that always check forums for new projects and post daily set. As far as I remember they're paid if cheap. According to the forum rules, I can't give links here, but you can google!
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: July 10, 2018, 11:12:11 PM
It all depends. what risks the project has and if it is qualitative at the ICO stage, then it is possible to invest. Now it is very difficult to find such projects and I would like to have more, but they still are. For example, EOT. This protocol has everything to change the situation with the gaming industry for the better, for example, the same opportunity to release games, but without costs. This will allow developers to produce products more often and they will be of high quality. In addition, I would be interested in using such a project and playing games through it. But yes, there is an opportunity to invest in the market, most often at good projects at this moment the price is not so interesting for the investor

The problem is that it's difficult to join the hypest ICO projects even if you've found them. E.g. Quarkchain had a multi-system qualification, it was difficult to pass this procedure, and there was a lottery among all winners. As a result, only few people have bought this. So everything is not so easy!
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better? on: July 10, 2018, 11:11:44 PM
Hey guys, do you think It is better to hold main crypto currencies like bitcoin it ether? Or you hold all your money in alt coins?

I think you should have all possible reliable and potentially interesting coins, the more the better! That's why I try to save 10-15% of my salary and regularly fill my portfolio with 1-2 new coins each month regardless of the market rise or downfall.
136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of BTC will drop to 4000 dollars? on: July 09, 2018, 09:44:55 PM
No-no-no. I don't want think about this. I bought BTC on 3k and if it fall down for this position I will start thinking to sell all what I have

If Bitcoin drops to $3000, you won't be able to sell anything, it'll die before cause mining will be at a loss, and the network will just die, while miners start to mine another coin. This period will be hard and painful, hopefully, it won't happen!
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: July 09, 2018, 09:44:32 PM
I agree. It may take another two years for the market to recover. For the next spike, Bitcoin needs a major trigger. And I can't think about any trigger before the next block reward halving.

Some days ago there was news about the implementation of lightning in the blockchain, maybe it'll let another growth start. This idea was promoted 6 months ago but forgotten, and the market went down. Don't you think that 2 years is a long period for the recovery? New innovative coins may kill the Bitcoin idea.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: May 28, 2018, 06:22:42 AM
It is unlikely that bitcoin will collapse in the foreseeable future. The upcoming hardcore can well pat his nerves, but absolutely surely does not put a cross on the first and most popular currency. The most negative scenario is after the appearance of B2X, when there may be a rollback of bitcoins, but most likely, after a few weeks, bitcoin will go to storm new highs
139  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What are the best bitcoin wallets? on: May 28, 2018, 06:20:01 AM
Bitcoin Knots. This is a complete bitcoin client, which is available for all operating systems. Bitcoin Knots provides high confidentiality: the application does not transfer transaction information to other network members, makes it difficult to track payments, it provides an opportunity to use anonymous Tor browser. Other advantages include: full control of own funds, independence from third parties, open source. Disadvantage: can be downloaded to PCs that are potentially vulnerable to malware, so you need to think about the security of the device.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: May 28, 2018, 06:12:24 AM
Currently, the value of bitcoins as a currency can be calculated by adding up the saved funds through the use of the Bitcoin payment system, and not other payment methods. If one bitcoin is used for 10 transactions per year with an average value of $ 100, the bitcoin network is 3 percent cheaper than any other alternative. This dynamic is maintained for 10 years, increasing the value of this bitcoin to 300 dollars. Bitcoins do not even need to replace local currencies
