21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook against bitcoin? on: September 03, 2018, 10:15:44 PM
Frequenty, Facebook banned ICO or other ICO related stuffs because many news our spreading about most if ICOs are scam. I know many bounty hunters and other ICO investors are being scammed. Kicked out at telegram, blocked and taking away the credits of their works. Some investors are abandoned so thats one of the reason maybe why facebook banned ICO related stuffs.

People tend to be careful with everything new, and owners of big companies always evaluate all the pros and cons towards this sphere, and when there're more demerits, we see such results. Maybe the Facebook policy will change in the future.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: September 02, 2018, 09:27:46 PM
Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

I consider my portfolio exclusively as an investment for a few years ahead, so I do not follow the charts, but I'm considering technology and news that can globally influence the market in order to be aware of the situation. Plus I do not have the time to keep track of the graphics, so usually, I do not touch my altcoins even if they had such a big growth!
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: September 02, 2018, 09:23:56 PM
I started to like crypto and being an enthusiast with it lately. I had read many articles around in the internet and found some good attributes regarding on the  different kinds of crypto in the crypto market. And i found out that ethereum is a platform which also supports mostly of the altcoins being introduce by  its mean using ICO. Conducting a project from the crowds budget and in return from the contributions are the giving of tokens instead. And afterwards the tokens will be used in an exchange they prefer to partner with. That is why i am taking credit to ether as best crypto next to bitcoin because of the platforms being used by most of the crypto as well. What do you think? isn't it ether is the best crypto?

It seems to me, when it comes to Ethereum, people really go crazy in discussions. It does not matter whether Ethereum is growing or falling wildly - people equally enthusiastically say that it has a "bright future" and "great prospects," although it's often just unfounded statements. In general, the price of it is quite attractive now. I'm waiting for another fall and then I'll most likely add it to my portfolio once again!
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What caused all the price drops? on: September 02, 2018, 09:22:06 PM
bitcoin prices cannot continue to rise, there must be a moment down so that traders can still get daily profit
You have to start trying to understand the chart, rather than having to contemplate fate
experience is very valuable, especially to support your career in the future

No graphics can be fully understood - there is always an element of luck, even if you are a super experienced trader, but probably there are no experienced traders here at all as they do not visit forums. For the rest, graphics are still guessing in its pure form. Yes or no 50/50. It is necessary not to look at the charts, but on the news background and then you can definitely feel the moments of the market's turn around from the bull to the bear, and this is a very important point!
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many new Token, new project on: September 02, 2018, 09:15:09 PM
I think that there are least 1 token or project or exchange were born everyday!
When I read ANN. Oh. I didn't research all. Maybe we have miss some good project.....Because there are too Project...
I hate this thing on Crypto Grin

Dude, this is nothing to worry about, use the services that choose good projects and post such compilations - this will reduce your work by dozens of times - and then you can choose from these projects those that you like yourself! Personally, I do exactly that and so far I'm happy with the result!
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid money on: September 02, 2018, 09:12:26 PM
One guy wrote a post on the Internet. He invested in an ICO and did not know what to tell his wife because the money he invested were borrowed from a bank and the ICO failed. Nobody wants those tokens anymore. So, what should this guy do now, in your opinion?

When we were launching an ICO I spoke to almost all of our investors. Not with all of them but with the majority. My message was simple – you should invest the amount of money you are willing to lose. I kept saying this over and over again. I even refused some of the potential investors. Not many, but still I turned two or three of them down. It was not about ethics. It was not about morality. It was not about reputation.

The thing is that one of my businesses is a detective agency. Thus, I saw many malicious fraud cases. People say a project will be a success and then some force majeure happens. This is when infuriated investors hire detectives to find the fraudsters. We conduct a thorough investigation on the case and see that no one actually intended to cheat at first. It just happened. They just did not calculate their own strength. Did not foresee all the possible outcomes. In fact, willful fraud cases are not as common as single cases of stupidity. But the outcome is always the same – court cases initiated by the investors and jail for the stupid entrepreneur.

Some people wrongly assume that it is possible to flee – there were cases when we had been searching for 2 years but managed to find people in the end. Whatever large amount of investments a person gets, they will lose it in a couple of years if they have no experience of managing such sums. Moreover, they will end up in a much worse situation than they were before.

Knowing all this, I have decided to work only with those investors who were ready to lose money. Even though my thoughts are unlikely to be heard, I highly recommend that all ICOs adopt this policy. We all play a very high-risk game: 9 projects out of 10 fail after collecting money. Different people, including ones like the guy I was talking about, invest into projects; they invest money borrowed from banks. These people are stupid. They are not ready to be investors. The ICO team has to explain that investing is out of their league. Maybe they are just not suited for this.

However, ICOs do not do this. As a result, after crying his eyes out, our guy will get angry and file a report to the police to initiate criminal proceedings against the ICO team. The team will have many unpleasant years ahead.

So maybe it is reasonable to prevent such situations? Maybe saying ‘guys, we can fail’ at the beginning makes perfect sense? ‘Investing credit money in an ICO is a bad idea and this is why we refuse you’?

It's a pity that such stories have nothing to do with reality and with how people try to deceive other people. The problem is that every new scammer dreams of easy money and thinks he is much smarter than police and evil investors! Sometimes deceivers can escape punishment but more often this is a lot of problems and nerves. Easy money pushes people to the path of evil and it's terrible!
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: September 01, 2018, 09:22:41 PM
Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...

Interesting topic, it's a pity that I did not notice it before! I think that in fact, things are even worse, and despite the fact that 8% of the projects go to the exchange and are traded, 6-7% of them will die in a year without achieving any success! So the statistics are very discouraging, but this is not an excuse to give up and stop working!
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: September 01, 2018, 09:18:03 PM
Yes, that's right that most of the ICO are scams. But everything in this world works the same for me. 80% of the people whom I contact with are also scams. This is the truth... But this makes this world more interesting, cause you have to chose who to work with and what to invest

I think that in general, this analysis can be compared with the Pareto principle. Well, I agree that such a percentage of successful companies is not only in the cryptocurrencies. The things are about the same in any business sphere. There is 1 successful company on 30-50-100 unsuccessful! This is a normal situation!
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is the only policy. on: September 01, 2018, 09:15:11 PM
Market is fluctuating today a lot . But I hope it will not continue. So I am applying HODL at this moment.
What is your policy at this current market volatility?

In fact, if we did not manage to sell tokens with the growth of the market, we have two options. HODL or daytrading, but if there are no skills and experience for daytrading, then the real output is only one - to keep your portfolio and, possibly, buy some positions on each new fall to average losses!
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people/users are afraid to invest in Crypto? on: September 01, 2018, 09:11:43 PM
There are numerous reasons individuals fear putting resources into cryptos, which is because of hazard, dread of venture will be lost by the conversion standard increment or lessening. What's more, now there is a great deal of antagonistic news about cryptographic money that makes individuals wary about its potential. So the cryptos are not yet well known, and individuals are extremely incredulous about the capability of this market.

There are many reasons why people do not like loans, there are many reasons why people are afraid to invest in banks, there are many reasons why people are afraid to start their own business. The same with crypt-currencies, I do not understand the question. Is everyone afraid that people around the world will invest in cryptocurrencies and the market will die? What is the point of discussion?
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my ETH and bought ADA on: August 30, 2018, 09:39:31 PM
ADA is worth 1/10th of ETH in terms of market cap, but has so much more potential. Completely lost my confidence in ETH as new ICO's on decline, unknown inflation etc etc.

I also love ADA - I earned decent money when, at the end of last year, I bought a few thousand of these coins and they rose abruptly in price immediately after that. It's a pity that I did not want to fix my profit and the price has fallen dramatically now. At the same time, I have Ethereum in my portfolio, which I also believe in. I think that it is worth buying both these coins and holding them until the next market growth!
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your cause of chose to trade Crypto? on: August 30, 2018, 09:35:02 PM
There are many chosing for trader, example : Forex, Stock, Crypto...
Recently, When Crypto grow, Crypto Trader also grow moreover you have too many chosing with Crypto: Bitcoin, Altcoin, Lendingcoin....
I like Crypto because I like adventurous

What is your cause of chose to trade Crypto?

Personally, I really like to realize that I'm participating in the birth and creation of a completely new economic market that can completely change the global economy in the future. And of course, this is a very big profit (but also a very big risk). In general, for me it's like an extreme sport - a dose of adrenaline and pleasure)
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the mission of crypto? on: August 30, 2018, 09:29:32 PM
I know crypto by the end of 2017. I learned a lot about crypto but I still do not know what it was born with a mission. I have heard many people say that crypto will change the world, crypto will be the future currency to replace real money, crypto will be applied to life, .... I still have not seen many things Applying from blockchain technology instead of paying for some co-payments between projects.

Why guess and predict different versions? Everything will be as it will be - we will see in the next 5 years how much this technology will affect the development of the economy around the world. It is possible that what we see now is just a base, from which some new, even cooler technology will grow in a few years. Who knows! Wait and see!
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: August 30, 2018, 09:28:09 PM
Hello. The important thing to look for first and foremost is the authenticity of idea or product  and service that is been pitched for funding.  Are these ideal,  product or services genuine?  Are they saleable in the market.  Second thing is to check the supply of the token and it's tech development.
Ico ratings from several website providers are also quite helpful. That can be taken into consideration, the review is quite complete, but do not serve as the main reference. Another suggestion is to pay attention to the development team if it is supported by a professional and influential team in the cryptocurrency world it usually has a good future.
In choosing the right ICO , Deep searching is needed, knowledge about the ICO you will joining is a must because you will invest time and money in there, make new and efficient judgements and prepare for the worst, we all know that some ICO are scams and providing us a needless point of income. That's why we have to choose ICO that is legit and have a good and reputable value in the future by searching in it.

In my opinion, investing money and wasting time researching the current ico projects now does not make any sense at all. I prefer not to invest even in such hype projects, such as hedera - it's easier to wait out all these falls and obscurities in fiat and enter when there will be confidence that the market has gone up! Don't you think so?
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will destroy Ethereum! on: August 30, 2018, 09:20:42 PM
This is a good article that explains why Cardano will surpass Ethereum!

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/op-ed-evaluating-promise-cardano-has-ethereum-met-its-match/

Thanks for the interesting article, but it did not change my opinion about Cardano. I still think that this is a very interesting project, which is worth my attention, but most likely it won't be able to kill Ethereum. Perhaps EOS will do this, or maybe it will not be able to cope with this task - we'll see and learn in the next few years!
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some Altcoin to hold longterm :D on: August 29, 2018, 09:52:33 PM
If you want to hold on for a long time, I suggest you invest in the 20 most capitalized currencies. Among them ADA, EOS, XLM seems to be good coin.

Advice is quite good but it doesn't take into account the specific nuances of a particular situation of the person. For example, if he only has a thousand dollars, then buying 20 coins at once is not a good idea, since it is not the best idea to divide such a small amount of money. But if he has 20-40 thousand dollars, then this option is quite acceptable. If he has more than 50 thousand dollars, I would diversify the portfolio even more, including also risky options to it.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: August 29, 2018, 09:24:45 PM
i was thinking to sell my bitcoins and buy ethereum what do you thinkl guys

It seems to me that it is necessary to sell Bitcoins and Ethereum now and exchange to fiat because there will be a new strong drop ahead and we will see Bitcoin for 4.5-5 thousand and Ethereum below 150 dollars! Then you can say that this is the bottom of our market and start buying both Ethereum and Bitcoin back to your portfolio!
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Ethereum on: August 28, 2018, 10:08:52 PM
This is a question a lot of traders think about. I suppose, Ethereum will reach good peaks some more times. Im waiting for it. Eth will survive for a few years. Im sure.
sometimes ethereum can indeed be a longterm and also a shortterm savings, but if the price is very low, then it's better for longterm savings, because it will be more optimal
Most of the people here believe in ethereum because as we all know.. Ethereum is one of the most trustworthy and profitable coins next ro bitcoin. Ethereum has it's unique platform and I really believe that ethereum has a bright future that will help us to gain more money.

In fact, the growth that Ethereum gave last year does not mean anything - even now the coin is overvalued enough, and if we see a drop below $200 in the near future, then an uncontrollable price drop can begin, and we will see Ethereum at a price below $100 in the most pessimistic scenario. The future of the coin is promising, but there are many problems now that need to be solved quickly!
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem of altcoins on: August 28, 2018, 09:58:27 PM
I think this cycle will continue and cannot be stopped as long as the cryptocurrency world is still alive. The current price dependence of altcoins from Bitcoin is indeed the biggest problem now for the cryptocurrancy currency market. Such a situation cannot be considered a market, if all cryptocurrancy currencies depend on the price of Bitcoin. This is no longer a market. The market will only be available if each coin or independent token is in the price policy.

What options to overcome this situation does the market have in this case? Personally, I see the prospects for independent growth of Altcoins only if Bitcoin leaves the market at all, but judging by the current state, this definitely will not happen for a few more years. What, in your opinion, should happen so that the price of Altcoins ceased to depend on the price of Bitcoin?
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the SEC will approve CBOE's Bitcoin ETF? on: August 28, 2018, 08:53:41 PM
If the SEC approves do you think it will have a global impact on other financial regulators? Will this possibly pave the way for an explosion in bitcoin value? Please share your thoughts. Thanks!

I think it's not so simple with the cryptocurrencies - it's a game of nerves and big money, so it will last as long as possible! But sooner or later the cryptocurrencies will be approved and pour all their innovative power into the world of big economies - it is inevitable, like the fact that the sun rises in the east!
