241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: November 22, 2017, 06:28:48 AM
I personally think bitcoin does benefit from social media talks and so forth. I have personally had facebook friends ask me what bitcoin is. This of course made them take interest in bitcoin and start buying bitcoin. I also see people post on facebook or telegram to earn bitcoin. Apart from that social media reaches more places than conventional media.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google results show more people searching for Bitcoin than gold on: November 22, 2017, 01:44:58 AM

I must first of all say wow , this is something in itself sends out a strong message to people out there. Normally people who had little confidence in the government would buy gold. This in my eyes only means that people are placing more trust in bitcoin as a store of value that will hopefully appreciate in value.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You Think an $8000 Bitcoin Price Is Cool? Wait Until We Hit $12000 in January on: November 22, 2017, 12:56:39 AM
12K is a bit high i think? but with how bitcoin is performing now, it is not that far off. If more investors join then we will see a major boost in the price it might be by the end of december but from time to time bitcoin will experience some resistance so that will put the price boost on hold but after that it is profit for us.

I agree with you on this statement and i actually don't think $12,000.00 is far off honestly. I actually just seen article where people from investment firm  are calling for $15,000.00 in next 3 months. That is of course no guarantee but i like those numbers i must say.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable, trading in Crypto coins or trading in stock market?? on: November 21, 2017, 09:56:38 PM
Which is more profitable, trading in Bitcoin/Altcoins or trading in stock market?? I have some bitter experience trading in stock market, and I am some what new to this Crypto trading, so please share your thoughts.  Huh

It really depends on what amounts you invest and what you are investing in. Some people like to invest in the futures market as well. That is faster returns than normal stock markets. Now small coins sometimes make huge gains so it depends on your level of appetite in the investments world.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how can bitcoin survive with 26 USD transaction cost? on: November 21, 2017, 08:35:11 PM
I don't know what wallet you're using, but unless you're sending a very large transaction, its fee estimation is terrible.

Paying less than $1 in BTC equivalent would quite comfortably get your transaction confirmed at current rates.

If you want lower fees than that, feel free to receive coins to a SegWit-compatible wallet in future.  It helps to lower your fees further, and potentially the fees for other people too.

I personally think that once all the drama that was created as a result of the bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold created a lag for a bit. Many people still remained in bitcoin but others like miners left even if only for a week or two to mine other bitcoin alternatives. Now i never seen this service you mentioned but i will sure keep it in mind.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 📱 AppCoins - The New Blockchain-Based Protocol For The App Stores 🔋 on: November 21, 2017, 08:27:21 PM
I like the way and manner appcoin respond to issues! The seriousness of this team is unparallel. Thie result of their hard work and unique project is already speaking for itself!

It is always good to have the managers or team development crew respond to its members.  We just need to wait now and see the growth.

248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: November 21, 2017, 07:57:25 PM
Honestly, all those buying Bitcoins back in 2011/2012 deserve their fortune, I think lots of us heard about Bitcoin at least from 2013/2014, myself the first time I heard about it was probably back in 2013 but like many people, it was too much of a "geek" thing (without really looking into it though) and it was too much "gambling" as well, at least that is what I was reading on the subject.
I regret not buying a few in 2013 as I was richer before than now... but well maybe buying in 2017 will be considered a great move in 10 years time. Wait and see.

Yeah most of us heard of bitcoin when it was nothing bit what seemed like a novelty idea at 5 cents each so it was ignored. Just makes me think if i had skipped one night at the bar and spent the $50.00 in bitcoin i would have got 1,000 bitcoins now. I hope the next 10 years are kind to US
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If i send my bitcoins to a wrong address, what happens? on: November 20, 2017, 04:47:08 PM
While what is stated above is true... there are some other points here.

It is hard to have a typo in an address (from what I read somewhere).  If you send to an invalid address, the transaction just fails.

If you mix up your clipboard and send to the wrong, yet valid, address... then you have no recourse as there is no way to get the coins back unless a person holding the private key to that address sends them back to you.

I once overpaid someone using mybitcion... and they were kind enough to give me the extra, so if you can find out who the coins went to, there is a chance.

So if im reading this correctly, there is possibility that the error send to address is not in use yet. Does that it at some point someone might be assigned that address and find some free random bitcoin waiting for them like a nice Christmas gift lol?
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a sham? on: November 20, 2017, 04:34:30 PM
What is the point to send such spam? I don't understand. High volatility of bitcoin scares people. Bitcoin price is not too small. It seems to me that bitcoin is now at a stage that it can invest only those people who consciously made their choice. I think that this spam does not refer to bitcoin as to any proposal of the mediator swindler.

It does not need to make a point to send spam email. A scammer has the goal to trick at least one person. I know it makes no sense but the way they see it is " hey i just got free money for nothing " . As far as the price goes that does not make a difference since people can buy fractional bitcoin.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are miners abandoning BTC? on: November 20, 2017, 09:37:01 AM
Yes, miners are abandoning bitcoin because everyday it is harder to mine bitcoin. Now you can mine only with sophisticated and expensive hardware and even with this kind of equipments the time required to mine increases everytime a new bitcoin is mined. Bitcoin mining is profitable only if you can invest huge amounts of money in buying the latest technology and you have to take in consideration the time that you spend until you get back your money and you earn profit.
Also new coins like BCH or BitcoinGold attract miners because they can use new technology to mine those coins and the price is rapidly increasing.

Totally false.
BCH is also sha256 so you can mine it with the same equipment.
Do a research and tell me how much you will earn mining BCH with a gpu, two or three cents per month?

The number of unconfirmed transactions on the BTC network is increasing rapidly. It is now 115,000 and rising - I have never seen it that high. Are miners switching to BCC/H due to the huge price increase of the last 48hrs and the cancellation of Segwit2X ?

And if they do? The next difficulty adjustment will kick in and the slight delay in blocks caused by less miners than the last difficulty will be gone.
Also most of the tx in the mempool are spam as always generated by the bch team.
Let them burn money.

All of the bitcointalk community and users should read this guy! One couldn't have said better than you, dude.

We all know that they spam the network with trashy transactions just to make it busy. This is very well known game. They did it before too. They will never be successful.

I agree !! Although I'm a late comer and still trying to learn blockchain, but i understand enough that I do not believe in a second that blockchain need to be larger.  That more powerful mining matchines are the only direction to move forward.  Greedy and power hungry ass...es are trying to take over bitcoin...- guess who has the power to control and influence the bitcoin blockchain traffic now ?! Yep, You guessed it !!

I am sure eventually they will make updates that will improve everything for bitcoin.  It will take some time to get to a point where everything is good . The only problem is even when you are good   you have to keep updating. Look at the USA  it is always updating dollar bills to stay ahead.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash Conspiracy on: November 20, 2017, 09:10:45 AM
Hey guys, i have been looking around all the internet and i have found this, this is very preocupant.
What if it is true? Just try to read it and make your own conclusions (it is a pastebin, dont need to worry about)
https://pastebin.com/n0aGBMQr

Just look at the date in when it has been posted, july 30th, two days before Bitcoin Cash fork happened, this seems very strange for me, and if is true, this conspiracy is really happening at the moment.
What do you think about it?

So i tried to read this and had a bit of a hard time. Anyways i am sure it is probably safe to say that bitcoin cash was just a failed attempt.  Then again it also seems like people went to bitcoin cash oit of anger in my opinion.  Bitcoin does have lag issues but people still know it and trust it.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 📱 AppCoins - The New Blockchain-Based Protocol For The App Stores 🔋 on: November 20, 2017, 07:16:11 AM
Who will use the appcoins tokens and what is the scale that is expectable ?
What is the timeline ?
Every User that wants to buy items (gems, swords, unblock levels,...) inside the Apps need to pay with App Coins.

Do the app store in the client held the private key of the user ?
If the user changes of device ?

I am sure they will have something in place that will address this issue especially in this times when people often get new phones every few months.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 trade.io 🔷[ANN] [PRE-ICO] 🔷Trade Token 🔷 JOIN THE TRADING REVOLUTION on: November 20, 2017, 07:02:21 AM
I came across this since I am a FOREX trade, https://www.forexbrokerz.com/brokers/trade-io-review . They are warning us that trade.io is an on development system to bridge the gap between traditional finance and the blockchain. There aren't any reviews yet regarding this, it might not yet be updated.

Sweet  find  how dod you find this when i try to search i just get the link back here on this forum or redit nothing else.

When bounty program started and when end is planed?
Wish you luck, project looks promising.
The bounty campaign seems to be nearing its end, beginning on October 21 and will last until the Appcoin ICO end of November 23rd (may be sooner if the ICO succeeds).

You are correct, that is less than one week away. They will have done all they could by Thursday the 23rd. I jave my fingers crossed for good luck and outcome.  Google play and apple need competition.

258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2017, 09:20:55 PM
Hey guys. I was asking my self "Should I buy Bitcoin now? What if it's gonna go down after I buy?". What do you think? Should I buy or wait?

Noone can tell you the future all can on speculate ehat eill happen in the future. Now bitcoin has been going up and that is a good sign i would say as it has survived bad news and so forth. Now finally i eould lile to say never invest or gamble money that you would not mind loosing right now without consequence.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big players will be heavily dumped and then beat the bitcoin?!?!? on: November 18, 2017, 09:12:45 PM

Do you think that if bitcoin becomes so expensive that
the big players will need to re-enter it at the bottom, whether they can declare that Bitcoin is a bubble and the price is sharply down, they make a purchase and declare that it was false information. Undecided Huh Shocked

Oh man i do not even know where to begin on this one. While it is not that far fetched to hear bankers and dictator goverments say bitcoin is a fraud to have people from the inside saying it is something else. I am not sure if you realize the market cap for bitcoin is about $120 billion dollars, yes $120,000,000,000.00 usd. So that will be some major manipulation i dont think it's possible on bitcoin so easily anymore.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this for real ? another fork of bitcoin ? BITCOIN DIAMOND on: November 18, 2017, 09:01:12 PM
why do you even care about forks? Bitcoin have been forked since day 1. The only difference is that those people that are forking now, invest a huge amount of money in PR, and let you people think they are doing something good. Ignore the forks. It's just a piece of bull....

Well you are right about forks that happened in the past. Especially in the early days of when bitcoin first came out and was full of like 10,000 different bugs and issues. Nowadays people worry more about forks for the possibility of free coins that may result as a result of fork and so forth.
