1101  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 10, 2015, 06:42:40 AM
I would like to stop for just a moment, and ask a question concerning the repercussions of what is transpiring here.

If Paycoin / Paybase fail, then many people will lose alot of their money.
I understand the reasons that you want this to occur for the founders of Paycoin, but have you stopped to think how many other people will feel that sting as you try and de-value the coin further?
If you want to be "whistle blowers" and police wrongdoing with evidence of that wrongdoing brought to the authorities, I applaud your efforts.  We all need watchmen to help keep us out of trouble.  But please think about those you are calling stupid for having faith in the company, and try to help them / warn them BEFORE they take a further loss.  Reveling in the decline of the price, and wanting to smash the coin out of existence, will do nothing but hurt those that are invested in it.  You should feel some compassion for those of that have XPY holdings, and try to warn against the drop in price to help your fellow man.

I started here and on LCT over a year ago... I do not post very often, but I do read. Today I have posted twice...i am as upset about the matter as anyone on EITHER side can be, but it will not help the ones that do not read these pages to deflate the coin purposefully.  Your efforts would be better spent compiling the evidence and reporting it in a manner that would allow Journalists to research/verify/and publish.

I'll stop now, as I am not going to say anything else on the matter.

I think I understand your point of view but you still seem to be thinking that "trolls" are causing the coin to crash. There are no trolls with an unlimited supply of XPY to continue dumping it for weeks. Simple math (premine vs POW) would tell you that any potential "troll" effect is miniscule compared to massive amounts of XPY in GAW's possession as well as in the hands of many Hashpoint miners. It is a miracle that the coin is still trading close to $4 even though it has absolutely no practical use and ample symptoms of GAW's inability to implement their lofty promises regarding widespread adoption etc.

Furthermore, aside from a few loud individuals to the best of my knowledge there is no concerted effort to hurt Paycoin investors, nor has there ever been. I can't speak for everyone but I know that many here are working on collecting and verifying information. Please excuse us if we gloat occasionally at the rather unbelievable fumbles happening with GAW. This comes from having predicted many of them long ago, which - to your point - was a warning that some chose to ignore.

There were quite a few reasonable media publications about GAW recently. You've seen the reaction on HT. If you have any other ideas of how this can be resolved more amicably please share.

come on suchmoon when something is going wrong it is better to blame the person next you or hackers or day traders. Hell i seen someone at a school say he blamed the money he lost when he messing with this paycoin as a result of him not having fed the cat before leaving for the school field trip.  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

Total hashrate has tanked down to 299,221,090 GH/s, was like 320

a few days ago. Since the rate was 290,919,288 at the last adjustment

on Dec. 30 I guess this means around 3% diff increase but not

Estimated Next Difficulty: 44,750,738,113 (+10.11%)

if these figures can be trusted, that is.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

i really do not want any difficulty to go up, but people say the difficulty needs to go up for price to go ....... still waiting . I will gladly take the 3% increase instead of the 10% any day of the week lol. The only problem is where do you see the 3% i just went to link you posted and i see on the site says 8%  Huh

They've gone completely nuts  Angry Angry

half their userbase seems to he crazy aswell.

and their chat is still full of ppl, finding out the got scammed JUST TODAY
i really dont understand myself why hashie and GAW both have such hardcore people who will defend them to the bitter end. I can maybe see defending gaw at first i mean they did sell physical miners for some time. I know i bought miners from them before and had sent to me, but hashie never did anything so i dont understand. Only good this hashie has going for it was the " frozen let it go song " JUST KIDDING the only good this they had was amhash backing them up to some level. Other than that i have no idea for all the hardliners. Maybe price of bitcoin would not be so low if all this people did not sell bitcoin cheap to buy crack then come on here defending hashie lol  Lips sealed

ANTMINER S4 Market is on the way Cheesy
whoop whoop! but when is S5? S4 is not much of an improvement over s3.
always good to see they are updating the products, i wish bitmain_janet had given us a time frame of when S4 will be here to buy. I know the S4 not much improvement over S3 but still even 10% improvement is better than nothing i say hell even a 5% improvement is better i would say  Cheesy  Wink
....isn't it a .009% improvement? per GH that is

.7w/gh for S3 and .69w/gh for S4
oh i never compared the stats to be honest i seen someone say on some forum page here or elsewhere pretty sure here. They was saying they was getting almost 10% better results on S4 compared to the S3 they was using. Granted i do not recall if they said anything about modifications or anything like that or i might have been drunk and they had .10%  or maybe they did have 10% but forgot to put the decimal.

Not sure if anyone mentioned anything on this, but what does it mean when it says

Unable to select captcha for session!
normally i get that message if for example i go out to eat or fall asleep for a old man nap lol. When i return the video would be done but who knows for how long so wont work i think someone said you have to enter captcha in the first 15 minutes of the video finishing up so you can get credit for it and continue mine
1106  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: January 10, 2015, 06:15:44 AM
i see some   strategy discussions, u know this shit is getting serious when we start talkin strategys
lol you know it is serious, i will say this in best way possible and understand i mean nothing negative. Does this game have bugs oh yes several, does this game have great or good graphics.... well know cause it is just like a faucet when you cant see anything being build or progressing. Does this game have high payouts compared to other faucets.. no .Does this game have option of making you spend money to get upgrades but once again no graphics just words .... yes  Cool  Cool  Cool  SO AFTER READING all this i ask myself what the fuck is wrong with me for wanting this site to succeed, well put plainly i want bigger and bigger mining game, it is really addictive yet so simple. I just hope this game gets really big that maybe after owner gets alot of sponsers maybe can get a coder to help improve graphics  Grin  Wink
1107  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Xapo a scam?? on: January 10, 2015, 04:57:39 AM
Is it true that Xapo takes zero fee when transferring btc?
Or this is old information?
i think it old information i think they had a current fee schedule i do not recall where i had seen it, but i am sure someone can post current fees maybe mod will see this  Huh
1108  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: January 10, 2015, 02:17:45 AM
I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but multi word captcha (enter this phrase) are not completing for me just returns saying incorrect, I have tried spaces, capitals, lowercase.

Can we have a fix?
i am having that same problem will reject like 1 or 2 then i watch new catcha and works just fine, the error seems to come from the ones that got to enter long captcha or the ones that are a phrase like " live from jamaice "  or " stand bye me " so forth maybe they will fix this or remove this long captchas if they cause errors  Wink

1111  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 09, 2015, 06:26:21 PM
whats different about the miners market , why is it more expensive than umisoo

UMISSO has a lot more hashpower pumped into it and recently bitmain pumped cheap GH into it (which is why it plummeted like it did). S3 has less fees so probably why it is at a premium. In my opinion S2 is the worst buy since 1gh mines at like 80% of a gh and it is expensive but there is not as much gh out there for sale.
i really am shocked they did not have atleast S4 on here i know not much improvement but you would think they are running some that they would like to sell as cloud service. Then again i might be wrong and they got no s4 for themselves  Huh

They are running S4s (and S5s)... for themselves!

Once they've reached minimal profitability, then they'll sell them on Hashnest.
lol see i can go with that answer makes more sense than to think they dont have S4 at all running anywhere for themselves or for big time customers with big deep wallets. I wonder how long it will take them to reach a point to where they will offer it to us poor little folks at bottom of the food chain  Cry
1112  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 09, 2015, 06:11:55 PM
Now umisso prize going up to till 0,00042-43
i sell all my Gh's from 0.0004 yesterday
if we can see 0,00035 again, i will buy back them Smiley
HELLLL noooo why do you want price to drop i want the price to go up more as i am sure alot of other people who bought in hogher want it to do the same lol. Would be awesome if everyone bought at this low price but is not the case so i really do hope the price goes up to atleast the 0.0007 range
1113  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 09, 2015, 06:09:02 PM
whats different about the miners market , why is it more expensive than umisoo

the farmer market is composed of the miners bought privately by people from bitmain but opted to go in the chinese farm. these miners can be withdrawn from the farm at any time and shipped to the owner at its own expense.
UMISOO is the chinese farm itself . the miners cannot be withdrawn from the farm unless the farm goes bust and within certain specific conditions like : you must have at least 1 th of UMISOO to witdraw anything. keep in mind that you have only 15 days to reclaim the miners after the initial shut down. afterwards they become their proprety.
you know i always wondered what the difference was between the 2 i just never asked because i did not want to seem like a dumbass for asking that lol
1114  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: January 09, 2015, 04:37:57 PM
Instead of quoting you guys, I am just going to mention you here. Otherwise this reply would be very long!

@maxpaynezzz:
I took some of your suggestions and rewrote them a little. At the moment, it will not be as advanced as what you propose. However, look at my reply to clifhanger to see what I am looking for.

@everyone:
I love the fact that you are actually calculating what is most profitable for you Cheesy

Feel free to do whatever You like, these were just loose ideas. I don't know about possible profitability for both You and us players but rewards such as boosters we can buy, with limited time ofc, for example 1-2 hours, could also work i believe.

About story telling it depends how deep You could write it to work, like couple questions/lines/decisions deep and if that would be in popup window or how. Then You can simply write about breaking a wall underground to find a chamber with... and couple yes/no questions to do something inside, like walk the unstable ground or past a creature of sorts or on not so wide bridge over a deep fall or a pool of lava/acid/whatever if our imagination is not to be limited. If You want i could sit after work today or sometime during this weekend and write down some ideas, after all i used to be game master in d&d for couple years, so i have some experience with dungeoneering adventures ;p

About the calculations - i still want to play and maybe at one point finally profit from this game but for that You need to keep it not only enjoyable but also profitable for Yourself, therefore the fewer calculations ppl do, the better for You ;p

I like where you are heading with this! I honestly just thought of a two-step story with Introduction - click button - payoff story. However, I could see this advance later on with multiple levels deep stories (like the kind of text based story that Pro is doing for EasyBitcoin). I would like to keep it simple at first though, so I do not overbourden myself before even releasing anything. Integrating even these small stories in the current site will be a challenge nonetheless!

And yes haha I got goosebumps when I saw people doing calculations. Mostly, users are just buying what the feel like, or what they can afford, I imagine though. At least that's how I would go about it.

I have something else that I am thinking of implementing. Might as well release the idea now, because I'm not sure if it's going to happen. Banks - you can deposit some gold into the bank and earn interests. However, there's a catch. Premium Miners will be able to hire bank robbers and steal a portion of your gold (of course there's going to be fees and what not for this to make any profitable sense at all), but the general idea was to move funds around between members, in order to make the gold more liquid. To prevent stealing all gold from users, there should be some cooldown as well as a penalty for unsuccesful robbing attempts. Not sure at all if I'm going to do this though - it's just an idea at this moment.

I would love to come up with other things like the bank & robbers, to make the site more versatile and more enjoyable for users. The more action, events and things going on, the more attractive the site is I imagine Smiley
wow i see you have a plate full of events going on, good luck nice to see constant updates going on and so forth with the site. I can only imagine what site will look like in 2 months  Wink
1115  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: January 09, 2015, 04:06:22 PM
LOL i thought i was the only one who wasted gold getting pickaxes i felt bad about it was all ike could have used gold else where. I only got to 5 level " purchases " of pick axes i might try to go for atleast a good 10 lol
Actually the pickaxes are pretty decent Cheesy
See it this way, from the moment you get 50 gold a min calculated only with workers and ores, the pickaxes will give you ALLOT Cheesy
I'm currently at 21 gold each minute, with my pickaxes (witch in total for the 11 was around 20k gold I think) brings me to 26-27 gold a minute Cheesy
Currently to get to that gold a minute with only workers I would have spend around 60k more gold already :p
So much win Cheesy
mmm i never actually did the maths as to what i get with each pick axe. I know each one is like 2% increase but always seemed like such a small trivial amount that i stop after i got 5 level ups of pick axes. Maybe i will see more notice when i have like a legion of miners digging aways for me full time lol  Grin

I did the math once, tho i dont recall the effects, but im sure that 1st pickaxe wasnt worth buying before 3rd worker
so might be worth it to me then i got 5 workers with 5 chambers, 3 gold mines and 5 pick axes level up, i might just go ahead and do it to like to 10 level up of pick axes
1116  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 09, 2015, 06:00:33 AM
They do take credit cards, but at least with some measure of verification:

http://leaserig.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/1000075203-credit-card-acceptance-and-payment-polices

Seems right now zero verification at Homero's operation, is that even legal?  How about that money business license is there one for him in Texas now or wherever you should have it for your operation.

The impression they continually create is like a kid trying to stick a cube in the cube hole struggling and struggling and finally does it. Here they been struggling and struggling to keep their promise of CC payments trying everything and everyone, and now they probably lied to stripe to get one, they so proud of themselves, they forgot the fundamental license and verifications.

Cause once it is raised it will be declared BETA and the CEO never said it was live yet.  However half backed is the MO, they will shut it down after stripe tells them to, claim that something else forced them to close it, trolls attacking it, redditors hacking it, any old excuse, but there after gloat, see we did as we promised, we did provide CC payments. All for a day. Like the 30 second ceiling nearly realized. See but we did do as we said we would, we did meet the ceiling. All of 30 seconds that lasted.

Same story different day.

We're in the MAJOR leagues now, ladies and germs. The second he and/or is coverts launched this extension of Paybase, the scheme fell under the direct jurisdiction of the US FinCEN per 31 CFR 1010.100(t) (formerly 31 CFR 103.11(n)). Adding his 10% "convenience" fee is just icing on the cake. Expect things to happen much faster now.

Ref:
http://www.fincen.gov/financial_institutions/msb/definitions/msb.html
http://www.fincen.gov/financial_institutions/msb/definitions/person.html
http://www.fincen.gov/financial_institutions/msb/definitions/fin_ins.html

I can confirm the 10% "fee".

For shits and giggles, I decided to buy $100 of XPY with my rewards credit card, with the intention of immediately transferring to BTC, and then selling on coinbase to USD. Plus it was just $100, so I didn't really care if I lost 10-15% by the time I got back to USD to see how the process worked.

Steps I took.

1) Input my address and credit card info at Paybase.
2) Confirmed my phone number, to which I got a text from Swipe thanking me for signing up and saving my Credit Card data.
3) Typed in $100 into the USD field.
4) Clicked Buy.
5) On the next screen, I was thanked for my order, and informed I was charged $110.26.

Note that I was never informed the final price before accepting (I thought it was the $100 I typed in), nor do I see anywhere that I should have been charged a 10% fee.

6) My credit card had a pending auth from "Online San Francisco".
7) It then took over an hour for the XPY to deposit to Paybase.
Cool Sent to Coin-Swap, sold for BTC, and sent to Coinbase.
9) Final result was $101 in BTC.

So if it wouldn't have been for the 10% fee, I would have come out even (plus the 2% rewards i'll get from my credit card).
LOL that is something else so they dont tell you they are going to charge you a 10% fee. Last time i checked all fees and stuff like that have to be disclosed for the customer  Huh
1117  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 09, 2015, 05:04:24 AM
I must admit I have learnt a lot from this thread, thank you to all positive contributors.

I joined GAW because someone said they made fast ROI so immediately i sent loads of money.

I only saw the chimp in action after I had invested but now I ROIed and still have junk in there leave it for their database to keep making me XPY.

Had i lost money on this I would be kicking myself, especially with all the red flags that kept being waved.

At present, non-withstanding this being a scam or not, I would never give a penny to a company run this way, even if they were digging for gold. They are kids they should probably start thinking of doing someone more "productive" with their lives.

The value proposition of a coin that can be used to buy stuff from the internet has been pounded to the ground and is already available in so many variations. The kid has nothing to sell, anyone coming new to this I suggest they just turn around, there is nothing interesting on this show. They will end up just taking money from each other and trading XPY in a closed circle.
all i got to say is you got so lucky
1118  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 09, 2015, 05:00:39 AM

"Project Prime. Take the power away from hardware companies. And give it to the people"   By cancelling their volcano, bitmain cancelling l1, and zeus cancelling their upgrades etc - fuck off you did anything for the people.  All 3 of you hardware companies are with holding tech.

Scrypt mining dried up so damn fast, I don't blame Zeus and Bitmain cancelling those items since they were doomed from the start (sucks for those of us who spent the money, but we got it back, right?).

The only HW that is still innovating right now? SHA-256 aka Bitcoin. Josh wasn't a dumbshite for picking AES-256 as the algorithm for his clone coin.

i am pretty sure if Josh can escape the metal bracelets around his wrist and anckels he might come up with some better idea. I say thought coin " patent pending " will be able to mine it with your brain power. Everyone the same age will get same hashing power so noone has any advantage over anyone. Only difference will come from age will increase or decrease but will  still be same as everyone in same age group. I say with a ground of $500 per thought coin will be good  Grin
