Aah. Just came across this. Was hoping he'd post here somewhere.

See, fox there happened to be the beneficiary of a small bug we had one night last week, where we accidentally had two daemon processes running on the same machine at the same time, and a few deposits that were made during that timeframe were duplicated in one instance of our failsafe checks (there are three levels).

Instead of reporting the issue like another honest user, he decided to try and withdraw it all. Of course the withdrawal failed, as the other failsafe checks realized he did not actually have that much.

Upon looking into the accounts that were affected and the behavior of the affected users, we noticed that fox had not logged into his account in over a month. He logged in, generated a PND address, and made a deposit, all within 2 minutes. Then, literally 17 seconds after the deposit confirmed, he attempted the withdrawal.

Same as 2 other users.

Sorry fox, not an "honest mistake". Anyone not using the site for a month, logging in and making a 100k PND deposit within minutes, who then saw a 300K deposit being credited would take a bit longer than 17 seconds to get his withdrawal address ready and hit that withdrawal page. We'd imagine there may be a few moments of "wow what just happened" before you run for the withdrawal page.

So, as per the terms and conditions that you implicitly agreed to by using the site, your account was suspended indefinitely. Because we take site security, and user's trying to take advantage of the system, extremely seriously.

On that note, going to close this thread (if I can?) and redirect everyone to the new/active thread:

So no new blocks in 16 hours.

Coin dead? Was a good run...

Without an answer in a day or three AllCrypt.com will be removing an obviously dead coin.

250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE ANN] 666Coin - The Devil's answer [Scrypt][PoW][PoS][ASIC] - Bounties !! on: May 08, 2014, 06:56:42 PM
Comkort exchange is NOT the answer.

The reason it is important to get coins on an exchange is for the exposure.  This coin has been alive for a few days now and there are only 8 pages to this coin thread, very sad.  Nobody knows about this coin.  Dev, not trying to give you shit, but you need to get motivated.  Miners will not mine what they don't know, and what will not bring them a few $$$.  This coin has great benefits, but again, nobody knows about it.

Get in touch with allcrypt @ allcrypt.com  He is always on the trollbox on his site, or just send him a support ticket.  He will add this coin for free and immediately, I am almost sure.
Also, contact bittrex.com  They are a good size exchange that likes to add new coins.

Hope this helps.

Wow. I just saw this posted last night. Obviously - read my post above. The coin is not welcome at AllCrypt.com. Or anywhere else for that matter. I'm gonna go vote for it on Comkort. I wanna hear if he gets threatened too. Cheesy
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE ANN] 666Coin - The Devil's answer [Scrypt][PoW][PoS][ASIC] - Bounties !! on: May 08, 2014, 06:54:13 PM
666Coin has been added to AllCrypt.com!

This exchange is very much young. Domain was register at finish of january and all registration data is hidden. In the website no Company or another data mentioned, only a P.O. Box.

Don't trust it.

The devs of 666Coin have demanded that no one trade the coin. We were asked to remove it from the exchange, and multiple times I asked the dev why. We've had people try and pay us to list their coin at launch. We've never had a request to remove a coin. Multiple times I asked, and the only answer we received was that it's a new coin. Which isn't an answer. New coins do not suffer from exposure, advertising and a market. If he's afraid it will collapse on itself as people dump it, thats a sign of a worthless shitcoin, not a factor of age. List it today or in 6 months, if it's going to collapse it's going to collapse.

So I'm out at lunch with a friend and cannot respond for a while. And apparently I upset the dev by not responding, and I was then threatened. "You really want to make war with me?"

See - for me, personally? Crypto is about freedom and choice. Demand I remove it from the site, and then threaten whatever child "war" he's going to come up with when I don't hop to it, is about the same as telling everyone who mines it that you're not allowed to trade it. Use his coin by his rules, or he's going to "make war" with you.

And since one of my favorite things ever is a threat, 666 coin is here to stay on AllCrypt.com and we're going to promote the heck out of it. Just because I love being threatened. And I love being told that we cannot list an open source coin that can be mined and owned by anyone. The source code is public, anyone can mine it, but hey, I didn't jump fast enough for the dev, so a threat.

Keep in mind I never said no. I was just asking why. Trying to understand the reasoning behind it. While I was at lunch. Then, the threat. Sure, it's a pointless and irrelevant one, but for me it's the principal of the thing. It's the attitude that if I don't do what he demands, "war" will be made.

Pretty sure the coin is just going to die on it's own, given the stellar "management team" but until then, come over to AllCrypt.com and trade away. Wonder if any traders will get threats as well.

(As for the absurdity of the registration details being hidden, I'm sorry, but myself and my marketing guy who registered the domain don't really want psychotic internet people having our home or business addresses. I know, funny, given that everyone in the crypto community is so level headed and would never resort to things like threats, or worse.

Hey Lucifer - whats your home address? No? Don't want to share? How odd)

We have a new github repository which is accepting development contributions at https://github.com/carboncointrust/Carboncoin
Pools running the correct version are:
carbon.basshash.com
carb.crunchharder.net
miningpool.co
all other pools are on the wrong client version currently and should be avoided until further notice.

A new windows wallet has been compiled and will be available imminently with heartbleed fixed.

That link should be on the front page. We almost compiled the wrong version.

So what the hell version should we be on? Because the github source is 8.7.1.

And I'm seeing a lot of people here saying they are on 8.6.something.

The coin is completely forked. I'm getting new blocks on 8.7.1.

And it's NOT the same block count as the 8.6 people.

We're removing this coin in a few days unless someone gets this crap fixed.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ XXLcoin ★★★ [XXL] ★★★ URGENT ROLLBACK to v 1 1 7 0 on: May 07, 2014, 03:00:02 PM

Your post, and the language used in it, is very unprofessional!

I would not recommend allcrypt to anyone, since there needs to be a level of trust with sending large amounts of coins. And if the main, or only, developer seems to be handling issues in a very unprofessional manner this does not inspire trust.

You would do well to refrain from acting so emotionally, calm down and work on your exchange if your serious. BTW. it does need some work it looks like a site from the 90's.

Now back to XXL! Everything's working again and it will be on a big awesome exchange at the end of the month!

Dev you really need to focus more on marketing this is your chance to get this big coin bigger!

Absolutely it's unprofessional. Users do not get the privilege of emailing me, and submitting support tickets calling me a thief and a liar and god knows what else, because the wallet is broken, and then I have to "be professional" when I get sick and tired of it.

And you're absoluetly right - no one should use AllCrypt because you obviously cannot trust us - because we get angry when dealing with a broken coin, with a broken wallet, and get called theives and liars. It's a MASSIVE display of how untrustworthy we are when we get irritated and pissed off.

And you're right, the exchange really sucks and cant be trusted because your personal taste in color choice does not match ours.

Now back to XXL - we've downloaded, compiled, deleted the blockchain and started over and it wont sync beyond block 64999. The github source we dowloaded was 1.1.7.2. It wasnt rolled back. How the hell can we update if the damn source isnt updated?

And every time we post, and say that, we get zero dev response.

But yes, WE are the assholes. Obviously.

260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ XXLcoin ★★★ [XXL] ★★★ URGENT ROLLBACK to v 1 1 7 0 on: May 06, 2014, 02:10:35 PM
Used the goddamned github source (downloaded fresh today), SAME damn version number, stuck at block 64999.

I'm goddamned done.

Hey people - stop goddamned PMing me and submitting support tickets to "upgrade".

The github source is the SAME goddamned version as it was before, and even after deleting the blockchain TWICE it's still stuck at frigging 64999 blocks.

We have wasted HOURS on this damn coin. And why? For what reason?

I am so sick and tired of these completely broken and mismanaged coins all over the site. And WE are the ones that get yelled at that we're stealing their coins, and our site is amateur crap, when it's all these crappy broken wallets.

Today's gonna be another banner day. I can feel it already.
