Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract!

The most resilient FPGA mining contract!

Thanks Cheesy That title is a bit dated isn't it... I figure it has a kind of positive stigma associated with it so that's why it has stayed the same so long Tongue Actually I just wrote a song title resilient this weekend... Anyway, back on topic!

Everything is ready to go at Havelock. So, all Cognitive shareholders: Please register for an account at https://www.havelockinvestments.com using the same email you had on BTC-TC to enable Havelock to push shares to your account. They currently do not have a system in place that will automatically generate accounts for shareholders, so for now we will be pushing shares to email addresses daily. So the sooner you register the better!

Havelock has confirmed that we will be live either tonight or tomorrow morning, and I have asked them to push for tonight.

All of the COG.F funds are accounted for and the status of these will be updated on Friday.

Cheers,
Garrett

Why would havelock request you to keep everything a secret until now?  My asicminer shares were transferred to havelock with full disclosure from the very beginning.

asicminer was already there when btct mess began

Yep.

And COG.F2 has yet to be decided upon, I will come back with an update regarding that by Friday. Hopefully I will have us up and running today!

Cheers,
Garrett

Not many assets have lived through GLBSE then BTC-TC and now Havelock

Cheers, Grin
Sweet
Great! Thank you Smiley am hoping Havelock will start drawing some more funds from investors in general.

Thanks for the positive remarks, all!

Can you elaborate how or when you will begin verifying the amount of shares and ownership then dispersing shares on Havelocj?

Yep, Havelock has a nice import system where I will be able to automatically generate accounts and have them sent to the email addresses you have all registered with on BTC-TC.

I never got anything back from Matthew. It's sad that he's living up to his bad reputation again...

This will be our third exchange move. Not many assets have lived through GLBSE then BTC-TC and now Havelock, but Cognitive will proudly surge forward!

Kick ass

That's what we do Cheesy
249  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [BFL CHIPS] Group-Purchase :: 100 Chips ordered 6.16.2013 on: November 13, 2013, 12:33:46 AM
Bogart, in response to your asking why I didn't deal with BFL more aggressively, is because I learned that Inaba has a terrible attitude or possibly an ego problem that makes him feel the need to threaten to cancel the orders I have placed with him, regardless whether I paid with personal funds or others' funds. That is my reason for the hesitance in pestering BFL regarding the order.

This entire ordeal hasn't gone as smoothly as any of us would have liked, especially with BFL being so late on delivery and then a number of my first batch of reshipment being sent back for insufficient postage, which is entirely my fault for not properly compensating for weight of the packages. Bogart and Lloydmiler4 are the two participants that were effected by this and I will offer you each the equivalent BTC of 2 weeks of output for the hashrate you purchased from me, this overcompensated for the downtime cause by my delay. I apologize for not resolving this issue sooner, I have been out of the country and unable to see that this was done properly so I hope you can forgive me for this.

Best,
Garrett

Hi all,

I have received clearance to announce that we are well on our way to migrating to Havelock Investments.

My goal is to be fully online and trading within two weeks, and Havelock has confirmed that this is certainly within our grasp.

Many more updates will follow this one. As shareholders, you just have to kick back and relax until we are live.

Cheers,
Garrett

You hit that spot on, TB. The plan is to be trading on Havelock this week, most likely tomorrow, Wednesday the 13th!

Cheers,
Garrett
251  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [BFL CHIPS] Group-Purchase :: 100 Chips ordered 6.16.2013 on: November 12, 2013, 12:38:00 AM
No such email was received by the email address that received the bitpay receipt.

Again, as I said in the Scam Accusation thread, I no longer want the chips seeing how they are now massively late due to your having dropped the ball on managing the order.  I only want a full refund.

That is ludicrous, because I shipped the chips three days after receiving them from BFL, which was last Friday. BFL is the one you should be consulting not me. This is a classic don't shoot the messenger scenario and I will be happy to work with you to seek compensation from BFL, because my personal chips were delivered the same day as participants of this group-buy.
252  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: November 11, 2013, 08:30:22 PM
If you look at the history of this thread, everyone said I handled the GLBSE to BTC-TC migration better than anyone else, and I plan on doing no worse than that with the migration off of BTC-TC. I will hopefully have a detailed update today with where we are moving and the exact date we will be online!
253  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [BFL CHIPS] Group-Purchase :: 100 Chips ordered 6.16.2013 on: November 11, 2013, 08:27:52 PM
Hi all,

I have been out of the country and the chips have been sent and the tracking numbers have been emailed to the email address you used to place the orders! Please check those emails ASAP.
254  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: November 06, 2013, 10:18:48 AM
I have not shared details because the asset manager has explicitly asked me not to. As things are planned, all citizens of all nations will be able to use the exchange.

I apologize for the delayed update, but this is simply out of my control. I am waiting on an "OK" then I will be able to share an abundance of information!

Hold tight just a little longer.
255  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [BFL CHIPS] Group-Purchase :: 100 Chips ordered 6.16.2013 on: November 03, 2013, 02:08:36 AM
Hey,

Today, after much persistence with BFL, they have still refused to give a refund and sent me the chips regardless. I have them in my posession as of this evening and will be sending them to their proper recipients on Monday. I apologize for this mishaps, but it is nothing I could have prevented. The chips will be out of my hands Monday and this will be over.

I am never going to order from BFL again, unless they can ship the same day I pay. That is a lesson most of us have learned the hard way with BFL.
256  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: November 03, 2013, 02:05:01 AM
Thanks for the update,Today will receive dividends ?

Yes, in about an hour from now.

And I can confirm that we will be moving to a Panamanian exchange Smiley

Edit: It looks like the majority of recipients of this TX will not be able to receive dividends (0.0006 per share) because of the small amount of shares. It will be best for us to wait until we are moved to the new exchange (next week) then dividends will be paid out that day.

Hopefully share price will rise dramatically then too in anticipation of our many many terahashes of hardware being delivered in January Smiley

Looking forward to the coming weeks and months,
Garrett
257  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: November 01, 2013, 09:06:12 AM
The dividends for the past month will go out the same day we are moved to the new exchange, which has asked me not to disclose any information (even their name) until everything is finalized. This will probably be this week, but if not, I will send out dividends manually on Saturday (six days from this post) manually, just as a backup plan.

Rest assured things are indeed progressing and we are well on our way to becoming an actively traded asset again.

Cheers,
Garrett
PT shares will be converted I assume?

It is more than likely that they will be converted, we are going to poll shareholders on this just to be sure.

Thanks for the update Garr, hope all's going good on the other end of things.

You bet!
Please keep in mind that PT shareholders are missing several weeks of dividends. (In addition to the regular shares)

Indeed. These will be paid tomorrow, the 2nd as well.

Migration to the new exchange is not happening as quickly as desired, because they are still waiting on clearance to initialize trading. I will continue to update as things progress, because things are indeed moving along Smiley
258  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: October 30, 2013, 07:51:40 PM
Set the address to an address you control, then garr can later ask you to prove you own the address by signing a message, and he can pay dividends to the address in the meantime.  Don't use an address you don't control (like a desposit address from coinbase, etc).

Exactly, thanks for the further clarification.
259  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: October 30, 2013, 04:11:35 PM
There is only 2 days before BTCT got taken offline.

General Reminder:

As long as you have your Public Bitcoin address in your account setting on BTCT, you have nothing to worry about.

Garrett has a complete list of every shareholder, how many shares they have, the email address you used to sign up with BTCT, and that public Bitcoin address. This is everything he needs to pay divs and move to a different exchange.

If you don't have your public Bitcoin address in you account setting on BTCT, then you need to do it right now.

Yep, this is all correct, especially
"you need to do it right now."
