There is no need to be that afraid. Just make sure to check out the mempool before you make a transaction and use the RBF option so you can increase the fee later on.
OP is using blockchain.com wallet and it doesn’t have the option of enabling RBF and there's no way you can increase fee for such tx as I had faced (my friend actually) such an issue and looked for a solution bud didn’t get any at that moment. |

Try to reach them through email form and fill them as needed, I tried to check the issue with Vault and didn’t find one exactly.
I just don't know why transaction should be stacked for one year and can't be resolved, I would have suggested you come in contact with them on their telegram group and have a live chat with the admin, this sometimes allowed users issue to be solved at some point. It’s not a transaction, if it was, it would have no problem. It was an issue with fund held in Coinbase Vault. Also, there is no telegram support group for Coinbase. The only way to reach them is contacting through their email. |

I was too lazy to consolidate my inputs when fees were low and I had to send tx with 100+sat per byte a few days ago with a lot of inputs which consume me a lot of fees. It would be good to have fee forecasting (for me lol) so that I can consolidate my input before it get increased.

Sometime it happens if someone necro bump a thread and I wouldn’t blame mk4 in this case at all. Sometimes, It's possible that one has posted in a thread without looking at the thread creation date, who does check all the times? I barely look at the date to be honest. I read the thread itself and other people responses and if I think I should add something, I do without looking at the thread creation date. So, it can happen unintentionally.
