1021  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: is faucethub.io scam? on: April 08, 2020, 08:02:58 AM
Never knew that faucethub has been closed. However, they used to be a good site for collecting coins from faucet, I had an account there long ago. I think they have announced their service close before closing it. You were responsible for withdraw before close.
1022  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Analysis of Some Bitcoin Concepts on: April 08, 2020, 07:54:52 AM
1.Halving:
Its a concept that means that the bitcoin supply will be fixed in circulation thereby reducing the total number of  bitcoin of miners by half in every five years.
It's not every five years, it's four years. Halving happen once in a four year and will be continue till the last BTC. In other words, halving happens every 210000 blocks.
It's not like that halving will not have any negative affect. If the price continues to fall below than 5000, after this halving, more miners will give up mining. However, when price will go high, more miner will again join the network. So, the affects you are talking about are kind of increasing/decreasing chart.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving from erc20 tokens to Bitcoin on: April 08, 2020, 07:47:25 AM
TRKC (Trakcoin) is on the TKEX Exchange.  I would love to turn it into Ethereum . . and buy Bitcoin . . or other coins/tokens.  I am simply a newbie . . and don't know the best path to do this.  If there are no buyers for Trakcoin . . well, it is what it is.
What exchange is that? I have never heard of that exchange before, if indeed it now has a good price and gives enough money then sell the token to buy bitcoin
Same here. Never heard about that exchange, not evej about this coin although I have a good hand in altcoin market.
If it is listed in the exchange you said above, place a sell order if there are buyers, if not, forget about selling this. Can you share how you got this coin?
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk PSL T20 Pool and discussion. on: April 07, 2020, 10:33:05 AM
Bro, i feel that you quoted me by mistake, guess you were replying to vishnu?
My bad, JSRAW. You are correct, I was replying to vishnu but mistakenly quoted you.

It will be hard to have a reschedule for PSL because of the International matches I think or have to continue with the local players which will not be much of interest.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 07, 2020, 10:12:27 AM
You can trust USDT as much as you can trust fiat. Both are centralized. I wouldn't recommend anyone storing their money with USDT or any other stablecoin for a long time, they may vanish anytime. However, shurt term traders need stablecoin to fix the profit, you can use this stablecoin for very short time though.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 07, 2020, 10:08:59 AM
There is no difference between stable coin and the fiat currency, they both are centralized and they both can create currency our of thin air. So, I wouldn't call stablecoin as the future of cryptocurrency. They are only another form of fiat and no more use of them. No crypto enthusiast would be interested in stablecoin ever because of their cebtralized nature.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk PSL T20 Pool and discussion. on: April 06, 2020, 11:51:25 AM
Only Royse can clarify what's in his mind. Guess his main focus is to engage cricket community into cricket related discussion as " Distraction". Because for quite some time we all are discussing only COVID-19 as its affecting our daily life. That's why i posted "All time Test XI etc etc " idea.
That will not be a fair idea to do. If the tournament resume, it's okay to continue the pool. But if it doesn't, it will be good to keep the BTC by Royse. If current table becomes the final, that would be unfair to other people. I recommend dismissing the pool in case the tournament get stopped.
1028  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Bounty and Signature Campaign on: April 06, 2020, 09:17:17 AM

I'll change signature After I got accepted.
Social Media bounty is paused a long ago.
Also there is no open slots for Signature campaign as Best change said that they have found the replace. Please read what he said.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to export private keys from MEW now ? on: April 06, 2020, 09:04:49 AM
Because, some people/user/traders say, much wallet has been hacked from forkdelta.
If you are talking about this, I recommend you to not use the wallet which you have used in forkdelta. Transfer all your fund into a new wallet. Just go to MEW and create a new wallet with private key or phrase key whichever you preffered and transfer all your fund from the forkdelta account to newly created account.
Please move this thread to Beginners and Help.
1030  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I got the backup file wallet.dat but error occur in "Verifying Wallet" on: April 06, 2020, 09:00:07 AM
Are you using 2 wallets in same device?
The process is correct, if you have wallet.dat for the new file, just keep a back up of that file and back up of old file.
Then start everything from the start. Delete everything and install the wallet again, replace the new wallet.dat file and check if it works. Sometimes, because of corrupted files, the file may not work properly.

Or you can also copy your new wallet.dat and replace it in the old wallet. That will work too. But make sure you have back up of every wallet.dat file.
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee 2020 Prediction on: April 06, 2020, 08:39:15 AM
Neither BTC will reach $500000 nor John will eat his dick. He has a very much stupid guess. Some people don't know what promise means. He will be one of them. By the way, somedays ago, he was talking shit about bitcoin. So, forget about that.
1032  Other / Meta / Re: Identifying alts using posted addresses on: April 05, 2020, 09:12:08 AM
On the other hand, identifying alts with connection of addresses can go wrong also. For example, I have not participated in Mb8coin bounty but I have purchased some from bounty hunters before listing. Now, if I had participated in the bounty and received coins from them too in the same address, would you call me bounty cheater? Not necessarily but that's the truth. Connected in address = Bounty cheater which sometimes is not the case. Posting an address should not be the only case to call someone  bounty cheater but that can be one of some other criteria.
1033  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paxfulbd.com what the heck is this? on: April 05, 2020, 09:03:35 AM
So many people use Paxful as their main wallet. We all know that paxful is considered as a wallet by newbies and even experienced traders.
I would not call anyone using the paxful wallet as their main wallet is an experienced trader  Roll Eyes No experienced trader would do that. How is an experienced trader? It is someone who understands what a wallet is, they must know the risks when they use a trading platform as a wallet and stay away from it.
Paxful can never be a wallet to store coins however most of the people who invest in BTC have zero or very small knowledge on the bitcoin technology. They used to store btc in exchanges, custodial wallet along with some non custodial wallet but very few people store their coins as they should. It's not a surprise that people use such stupid methods to store BTC.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Legality of Blockchain Notarization? on: April 05, 2020, 08:58:31 AM

What are your thoughts? Will notarized documents on the Blockchain be considered legal as evidence for a court of law? Or are we still too early to tell? Huh
We are not too far from that, soon blockchain notarization will be accepted as legal evidence I think. You know blockchain is a fast growing technology and each every possible sphere will utilize it.
There's DeepVault by DeepOnion, they have developed a lot of things for blockchain notarization. Another project is signature chain, they also have the same interest.
1035  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading Based on One Exchange's Prices on: April 05, 2020, 08:52:01 AM
Excellent, but how do you gauge volume for a coin?
Do you look at just one place or multiple places?
I'm confused what you are looking for. If you are taking about the volume of a coin, it depends on all the exchanges. In most cases, low volume of a coin any exchange must not be preferred. You should only trade on exchanges where there's more volume. You can get overall volume information in coinmarketcap, coingecko and some more site. However, in some cases, even with higher volume, some coins should be neglected because volume can be faked or manipulated easily. Look at the volume of last couple of weeks to get the usual volume.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ONION] DeepOnion ✅ Your Privacy Coin with Real Use Case ✅ Show me ONION News! on: April 05, 2020, 08:46:33 AM
Thank you bizul, I was looking for that information for a while. I have no smerit ti share at the moment. Otherwise, I would share one or two.

I've great news. We've doubled the VoteCentral rewards during the worldwide epidemic.
That's good news. The previous reward was very low to be honest to attract people looking for such jobs. It's good time to attract some more new people in the space. Keep up.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of cryptocurrency exchange hacks on: April 04, 2020, 02:14:32 PM
Exchanges can never be a good place to store your coin. You may get stuck with hacking, rules and regulations of exchanges. It's better to use non custodial wallet or software wallet always.
This is a good list but as far as I can remember, someone else had made a list too. If I can find, I will share here.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A statistical table of bounty campaigns run on Bitcointalk on: April 04, 2020, 02:11:57 PM
You literally have no way of listing all the bounties and finding them scam, actually it will be hard to filter the scams because like I said all the times, there are a lot of ways of scam in altcoin market which you never can realize even.
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ONION] DeepOnion ✅ Your Privacy Coin with Real Use Case ✅ Show me ONION News! on: April 04, 2020, 02:08:49 PM
Just sent my vote for DeepOnion. I donīt know this guy from Twitter but I guess any mention is good for the project.
Did mine too.
Can someone share me all the details of Votecentral airdrop like, how much ONION have been airdropped, who are the participants in total. I am trying to get some analysis on that to get some information.
1040  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BINANCE TO LAUNCH ITS OWN MINING POOL on: April 04, 2020, 02:05:39 PM
They are trying to build a centralize system in my opinion because they are trying to themselves into all sphere of cryptocurrency. That's good from a business view that they are acquiring lots of subsidiaries but that can later give CZ more power to manipulate a lot of things.
