241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling : Next Generation Challenges on: March 10, 2024, 10:32:57 AM
It's good that better sociality is coming into gambling and that's my expectation with digital identity and also the metaverse, but I don't like the idea of targeting the audience, I don't want any improvement from this side, it's fine presently, we don't see ads on TV and our kids are safer, if the audience becomes more targetted in the future then it will be a mess.

Many will be led astray because of gambling, and many will lose money and lives because of gambling, nah we are fine and no new targeting is welcome, leave things as they are now, we already have too many addicts around the world, and many homes have been broken already, millions and millions have been lost.

Apart from advancing gambling in such a way that it's easier to invite friends and families that are far away into your circle, through VR or metaverse I don't want anything else, this will be a big fun check.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Do bitcoin accelerators really work ? on: March 10, 2024, 09:53:14 AM
There are many fake Bitcoin accelerators out there, and it's been very long since I used one last, I don't always get stuck in Bitcoin transactions since I've started using mempool. space to check the actual transaction fee needed to send my Bitcoin to another address.

The last one I used and liked is viabtc, it's very genuine and it always works, though it is not always free, they have a limited number of free accelerators per day, or let's say every 24 hours.

Viabtc is now less attractive because of the new terms and conditions they have introduced but who am I to complain about it? I heard that many people are abusing the system so we get what we deserve even though I've only used like three times since 2018, when something is free, people don't know how to appreciate it, they will handle it as they fit.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I just woke up and saw wins in my gambling app on: March 10, 2024, 08:30:48 AM
I know this is not a new experience for many old gamblers that has been into gambling, but for me it's a new one, I've played a game over a week ago and I didn't even bother to check cause I never expect it to play out or let's say I mostly forgot since it was a busy week, just yesterday I logged it to check out the booking code my friend sent to me so I could fund my account and try it, the nest thign i saw from sporty was a win on my screen, I was shocked thinking it as a network glitch or something then I went to check my balance I had just won some cash, I was happy.

And worst of it, I never expected that game to play it was a rare case of I just tried my luck.

This is another reason why gambling can not be a job or anything like a source of income cause you can't know your games would play out and no predictions is ever accurate.

If you have such experience share it with us let's see the lucky guys around.

Keep it up, this is the type of mindset that I want for gamblers around me, not being too focused on gambling makes you a better gambler, you will be able to control your urge for gambling and risk only what you can, it shows that you don't depend much on gambling, you are just doing it for fun.

It's better to not expect and be a winner than to expect to be a winner and the opposite keeps happening, especially from something like gambling which depends on luck completely.

Do not rely on gambling, do it when you are comfortable to lose the money, and go back to your normal life to keep chasing your dreams, don't Chase dreams using gambling, go for investment or go into a good business, when you get lucky, use some of the money to fund your business even further, but don't expect that you will always be this lucky.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It’s unlikely that anyone besides you will be happy with your winnings. on: March 10, 2024, 07:56:05 AM
I would like to discuss this topic, the joy of victory. Much has been written about this, but nevertheless it will always be relevant. Many players naively believe that someone other than themselves should be happy about their winnings. I don't think so. Of course, those closest to you who directly or indirectly depend on your money will be happy about your winnings. But neighbors, friends, and work colleagues, at best (at best!) will receive the news of your victories with indifference, and at worst, with envy. I know that many friends and acquaintances get depressed when they find out how much you have earned. For them, it will be an unnecessary reminder of their failure. Often friendships end after one person becomes very rich. People lose common topics for communication, and common interests disappear. Of course, things are different in sports betting and trading than in business. Here success is less stable and a person can often fall back into poverty more quickly. But it’s still better to hide your victories from others. I've seen many clear examples.
No one is supposed to know about your gambling activities unless you disclose it to them, gambling is doable online today, who will neighbors or work colleagues hear about it? Whenever I win some money I don't tell anyone, it's the same when I lose some money too, it's gambling, and no one should know.

The fear of judgment as a gambler, the fear of discouragement from people, this is why I don't disclose my plan to anyone, I got to know that I am better at making life decisions than most people who are living close to me, this is why I see no need to carry anyone along with my plans and decisions.

You shouldn't care about what others think, in fact, it's safer to keep good news to yourself only, either in gambling or others, even those who you think are genuinely happy for your success could have a different mind towards your achievement, in my own path, no one is really really happy about my success, they only pretend to be.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to join DeFi on Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2024, 07:23:30 AM
Some people are so hooked with Bitcoin that they don't want to see something else does it better, I understand, bitcoin is the best and the original, but defi on bitcoin feels like something that could work.

If you have not tried to atomic swap bitcoin for other coins don't judge, it felt so good and much better, I wonder why we needed big centralized exchanges when these swaps works so damn well.

Nothing is comparable to bitcoin, it's the best, but I will hate myself if I can't give other projects like these Defi projects some chances, to get handful of bitcoin since 2022 I have invested in various projects that have gave me ten times of my money back, which have made me get more Bitcoin in the end.

Those amount would have cost me months of my savings to invest in Bitcoin, so honestly why the hate? I am an opportunist in this financial a d investment world, any defi is welcome for me.
246  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't trust your old wallet of when u had no Crypto knowledge on: March 07, 2024, 03:15:34 PM
Even if you have crypto knowledge it's still not advisable to use your old crypto wallet because you are still very knew to crypto and nobody have the right knowledge when they are a beginner, so either you have the knowledge or not, everyone was once a newbie, do not use your old crypto wallet, the chances that it's been compromised already is very high.

I believe that no one is capable of remembering how they use their first crypto wallet when they came into crypto space, with the hope of having some knowledge we must have tried a lot of things just to get by, and knowing which is right or wrong remains unknown.

To avoid unnecessary mistakes it's better to download and create a new crypto wallet from scratch and keep the recovery seed offline, let what's bygone be bygone, new wallet is way safer.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indirect victims of gambling addiction on: March 07, 2024, 02:20:34 PM
I have a similar problem with a family friend that I call a brother, he is addicted to gambling and I keep telling him to stop but he won't, I tried teaching him how to be a responsible gambler but he can't help it.

Now I warned him about dragging others into his mess, if he plans to be irresponsible about gambling he should face it like a man and go down alone without dragging others around him into the mess.

This is my own way of living, if I am to go down I go down alone, I take risks that I only can handle, in my own world no one cares about me but myself, and I apply this fact to my life, I learn to clean up my shit by myself.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: March 07, 2024, 12:29:03 PM
It doesn't make any sense, how can you use your head if you take drugs before gambling? Also can you be able to concentrate on gambling if you are half asleep? Only those who have money to throw away will do these two stupid things because it's sure and certain that they will lose the game anyways.

Drugs consumption can affect the way we reason or think, that's why you will see drug addicts at the mercy of the pain they go through when they don't take drugs for a while, it has become a part of them and they need to take drugs to be normal, if they don't, they feel like running mad.

Gambling or not, taking drugs is not healthy, if you are doing it you need to reconsider before it gets too late, make sure you get help and run the hell away from any drug addicts like yourself, the friends you keep says a lot about your present situation.
249  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 07, 2024, 10:11:48 AM
If you are not gambling to make a lot of money you won't simply have any reason to start chasing any losses, because you aren't expecting to get rich as a gambler, you will be able to take less risks on gambling and become more focused with your life on other things that matter, other things that can bring you a better life than gambling.

Those who are millionaire today because of gambling got lucky, if anyone around your vicinity become a millionaire through gambling, believe that it's their luck, you don't have to feel like you can be the next, only five out of every 500,000 gamblers can luck when it comes to winning while gambling.

You don't have to look up to anybody, be more realistic with yourself and your decisions, especially money decisions, since winning in gambling requires luck, you should not be told that risking very little is the way.
250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Prepare Your Children For Bitcoin Investment and Not for Government Jobs. on: March 06, 2024, 03:46:35 PM
Nah nah nah, its not a must, as if people can't do well without Bitcoin? Do you know how many businesses are out there that are nailing the financial world right now? Let them be exposed to Bitcoin and future innovations, this is the best advice I can give anyone, but don't force them to learn what they don't have any interest for.

Bitcoin isn't everything, if bitcoin doesn't exists today life will still goes on, jobs are good and many families still grows with government jobs and don't also forget that a successful bitcoinist needs a job to be able to invest money on Bitcoin.

It's better to be opened to new ideas and don't leave one behind for another, get jobs, save some money and think more about investing on new techs and innovations, including Bitcoin and whatever comes in the future, and don't forget to live, be happy and be healthy.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is AI going to affect gambling in any way ? on: March 06, 2024, 12:52:10 PM

Even though it looks quite helpful, AI technology can be detrimental if used excessively, and that is why it is important to have regulations from the gaming commission to monitor the use of this AI technology.

Like you said, I also think that it usefulness will become over bearing and boring to the gaming world. It will create dichotomy between casinos that uses AI and those that are not like we are having the KYC for some casinos and those not verifying on KYC.

So Al will be good in checking cheating for those players trying to do that. It will create a revolutionized system that will further make gambling robotic and boring.
Gambling robotic and boring? I don't think so, those who are going to do the gambling are we humans not the AI, the AI is only going to make things easier for the casinos that rendering their services to gamblers like us.

When playing Dice and Slots there is no need for AI presence here, AI will do good as customers services but not in any gaming experiences, gambling will still be as fun as it is right now, or later.

I am expecting better experience through Metaverse and VR gaming/gambling, I believe that gambling will get better with or without AI, the experience won't change and AI won't ruin the fun either, it will only make the job faster on the casinos side.
252  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 06, 2024, 11:36:25 AM
I don't use VPN connection to gamble on any online casinos and I don't even need to, but there are people who are using VPN, I found this not very safe because changing of location normally cause problems even if the casino don't talk about using VPN or not.

It's best to go through terms and conditions of any online casinos before using VPN, because you won't know if they support or are against it which could put you in trouble some time later on.

I have never use VPN and I will never use it for accessing any online casinos, it makes not much sense on my side since there is no form of restriction in my country but just make sure that the casino ToS supports VPN before using.
253  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can gambling sites provide proof of auditing that was done on their RTP? on: March 06, 2024, 10:14:37 AM
This question is best fit for casino owners, I wish we have some of them on here to answer this question right now.

Many online casinos claimed to be audited but there is no proof of audit online like those from crypto projects, In gambling, it's users risks and in crypto project investments it's also users risks, I wonder why crypto is more eyed on because this shouldn't left online casinos out either.

If SEC are going after crypto projects why no one ever heard about some organization going after online casinos? Because I strongly believe that they are not all audited, their proof are just words, nothing more.
254  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How dangerous are email phishing links and youtube and twitter links? on: March 05, 2024, 02:16:51 PM
Spam emails can go directly into your inbox instead of your spam folder, things have changed and attackers are also learning new evil ways, the only way to beat this is to only click on emails that you are expecting, nothing else matters, only open emails that's for you..

Every blessed day, hackers and scammers are gradually getting smarter, they are looking for more confusing ways to deceive their victims, if you want to be strict about it then you must make some sacrifices, like abandoning Telegram and Twitter, these two are the most target by hackers and scammers.

Say good bye to airdrops and free tokens online, avoid any strangers and only reply people that you know in the real world, don't click links under any YouTube video that you just watched, it does not matter if the channel on YouTube is a genuine one, like I've said scammers always have their ways.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which player are you? on: March 05, 2024, 01:27:30 PM
I perfectly know what gambling is all about and I don't mind losing all I risk on gambling, for me it's all about the money I risk, can I afford it? And also follow by the games that I am placing bets on, am I getting joy and fun out of the games? Because I don't want my mind fixed on the wrong thing like making money by all means.

If you understand gambling you will know that aiming to win won't benefit you for long, it will only disrupt your mind, same your mind and enjoy the games with some little affordable risk, don't put all your life goals on gambling like its the only way, in fact it's a wrong way to believe that you can acquire wealth, this is what have destroy so many people already and still counting.

Don't get me wrong, I play all games available, but that's because I like sports and I also like slots, I am not risking money to make a ton of money, I don't have such believe in gambling and if it happens it's a plus, it still won't change my mindset about what gambling is all about.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you had this gambling experience? on: March 05, 2024, 12:35:59 PM
I don't know if other gamblers have gotten this experience maybe ones or more throughout their time as gamblers. Cause I have had this experience a few times though I can't actually pinpoint the numbers.

There have been times I just out of no serious interest or enthusiasm just decide to try a few predictions on football games and due to the lack of interest in the games just decides to stake with a very low amount and boom, the games played, and you just realized the money won is nothing to be glad about.

But on certain day's i take the game seriously and put my mind into it and as a result had to stake in a good tangible amount of money to have the potential money to be won big but the games don't usual play despite all of the seriousness and analysis exerted into putting up the games.

This weekend I had that awkward experience again and the funny aspect is that it doesn't in anyway come to mind to remember to increase the stake seeing how reluctant I was feeling when booking the games just like other random times

Does anyone also has it this way at one time or the other with their predictions.
Lol, it's why I like telling people that gambling is best fit for those who don't take it too serious, like their lives depend on it, when you crave too much for winning it will never happen, and when you look else where and just decide to try not so much you will win.

It's not a game of seriousness, it promised nothing, so you as a gambler must also take it like a fun type of game, and risk small amount of money, that's when you will enjoy gambling even more compare to those who focused on gambling as if a angle gave them a message that through gambling they shall find their success.

Your mind is more at ease when you handle gambling like you will handle things that are not so great to you in life, take gambling less seriously, it's not a source of income, it's not a business that you must handle like the real owner, anything that's based on luck is beyond our control, don't try to be a master where there is none.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 05, 2024, 11:44:08 AM
Call me crazy or something else, the truth is why would anyone want to create a decentralized gambling platform anyway? It makes no sense to me because I will like to ask the person what they are hiding from, running a casino isn't a currency like Bitcoin, that decentralized idea isn't just adding up for me.

Even if any decentralized gambling platform exists, there is no need for me to use them, it's gambling, something everyone does, something the government are in full support with, something that it's also located offline and people do it from time to time, why the need for decentralization in this space?

I will be suspicious of any online gambling platform that are decentralized, they might be ruining some illegal things behind the scene, there is no need to go decentralized if all their existence is all about giving gamblers good services that they deserve, why decentralization?
258  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 04, 2024, 04:55:22 PM
Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ?  Is there chance of major correction from here as prices have already peaked now.
There is a chance for a major correction but there is also a big chance that bitcoin is going 150k from here, you still think that they are fool? I don't think so, even if there is a major correction it's still a good buy, I won't advice anyone to go all in on bitcoin though, it's better if they DCA but I have a good feeling that there will be some calm before the real storm.

The bitcoin halving is just 45+ days away, it's very closer than we think and once it's over there might be a big correction but this won't stop the fact that Bitcoin is going to make a new all time high, we are already on the way into the 3rd phase of this bull market and which will be the last tsunami move so it's still a very good time to buy.

I have bought majority of my holdings since early 2022 while everyone was scared of a possible 10k per bitcoin, following the horde never pays in this crypto space, you must stand for yourself and use the little knowledge you've gained, the best time to have bought everything this time around was in 2022.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: March 04, 2024, 03:01:47 PM
I don't seem to understand some gamblers, they always think they are smart, with who honestly? The house? Same people that want to give you opportunity to win big? It's never going to be that easy, why are people lying to themselves? Whatever trick you think you know when gambling is nothing compare to what the house have in plan for you, it's only your luck that can win over the house, not your strategy, not your stupid pattern.

There is only one way to deal with such people, leave them be and let them satisfy themselves, by the time they realize what's going on they won't even be able to come back and tell you that they failed, because they shame will consume them.

It's not necessarily to be a responsible gambler, but I promise you, it's either you quit gambling for ever or you later learn the hardest way, gambling will humble you if you believe in such nonsense, you must only risk what you can until your luck day comes, if not, you are on a wrong path.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Try to stick to your instincts as a gambler on: March 04, 2024, 02:15:40 PM
Sigh! Cry when are you going to accept that luck is luck, forget what you think you know, this is gambling, a place where skills in your skull isn't even needed, don't think you can outsmart anything, it's a complete game of luck, when you think about a possibility always think about two outcomes.

It's either it goes very bad or very good, but if you think that you are in control, brother you are not, accept your win and erase that guilt or feeling that you might have won a lot more, there is no room for such as a gambler, if you give room for such you will end up in problem later.

Wait till the day your instinct lead you astray, who are you going to complain to? Just because you are right now doesn't mean you should start listening to the voices in your head that you believe to be the calling, you will be shocked, keep doing this and keep us posted.
