241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 12, 2024, 10:26:18 AM
It is doing it's job and garnering attention and deny it or not, its getting us commenting on the subject whether we like to admit it or not.
You can't saw it isn't fascinating to debate about if it is right or wrong.
One youtuber which sounds like an AI voicechanger type bot account had a video I watched yesterday. Well due to Joe Rogan was mentioned in the title yet barely had any footage between him and Paul in the video.

Some points to get you thinking about this fight, a devolution of the sport of boxing?
Perhaps. But entertaining to ponder about.
Joe Rogan BRUTALLY WARNS Jake Paul Of Fighting Mike Tyson

This seems to be going in through the motions as there is a clip out there where Iron Mike is back into training.

So shouldn't the new iteration of AI be free and opened to the masses?

^^
You were correct!
Bearman did very decent work at his first F1 GP because he was plucked out of F2 to fill in for the Ferrari team.
He did such a smashing job that Haas were eyeing him as a prospect for next season, according to some reports.

Since there wasn't much else to talk about for the outcome of this race because Verstappen made it another notch in the winning streak from last season, we have Oliver to take all F1 fans attention.
He did impress Lewis Hamilton and being the first British driver since forever to drive a scuderia he took that away from the Brit for next season:

Falcons are indeed a great team but owning 2 finals in a row BetBoom with 3-0 is kinda rough for a team like BB to accept and I'm sure this team will bounce back stronger and maybe they will get revenge on ESL Birmingham in a couple of weeks.

Overall , what can I say about this finals besides Ammar making Eye of Skadi in 3rd map on hero Mars who absolutely had a massive impact on health regen on Morph and his ability to moprh intro strength got basically cut in half. That's why I consider Ammar a very IQ talented player who knows how to approach a game and get out of comfort zone when it comes to builds , play-style and many more.  Cool
That was nuts!
Before this finals I had never watched a match of Team Falcons or ever even heard of them before being mentioned on this thread.
https://www.gosugamers.net/dota2/news/70788-team-falcons-keep-the-wins-rolling-claim-dreamleague-season-22-championship-title
Watched a bit of the last map and they were dominate from what I had seen from their gameplay.

Might make a bet on them for their next tournament they qualify for because I really thought BetBoom was sure to take this DL and go all the way winning it.

Just received my freebet from the ZED Run promotion but the horse I bet on lost obviously since it was in third place all race except for the very last 30 seconds came in second last.

Only market offered to me in Sportsbet Special section is for the boxing match later on tonight:

https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/matches/today
Same, mine finished 4th and i had bet top 3

Regarding todays EPL, i love a wager on man utd to win at even odds. I think its a good play
EPL matches were hard to bet on as there were 4 draws out of the 9 from the weekend games, including the one which ended today between Manchester City vs Liverpool.
Would of bet on over goals so good thing missed out on betting today after having a good run from Friday with betting on Joshua for boxing and ending with O'Malley in the UFC yesterday.

Tomorrow there is one match in the EPL between Chelsea and Newcastle United.
Here are the markets for the Sportsbet.io sponsored squad:

247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: March 10, 2024, 10:22:32 PM
UFC 299 was a really good fight card with alot of the fighters many MMA fan's predictions going very well.
Underdogs were getting those wins many were going for regardless.
Dustin Poirier beating Saint-Denis in the co-main was a great example of those who liked seeing the Diamond coming back.
Petr Yan was good to see as many saw him being washed up after having four losses and not looking good to continue if he lost to Song Ya Dong. But somehow he came back with top notch takedowns and wrestling that he was known for in octagon.

Sean O'Malley didn't disappoint and just destroyed Chito's face with a knee that could be heard threw out the Arena when it landed.

Merab had tried to congratulate Suga Show after the match at the back hallway but Sean didn't seem to recognize him.
It was a funny thing to see:
https://twitter.com/bjpenndotcom/status/1766740723167035767

He is the full story and it was what he said after his win:
https://www.sportskeeda.com/mma/news-video-sean-o-malley-caught-awkward-backstage-exchange-merab-dvalishvili

So yeah, he will @cabron but he rather see Topuria.

While Verstappen has 1.15 odds it is 8.00 for his closest opponent who is Leclerc.  The gap is just huge even for the start of the season. But any of us surprised with that? I don't think so.

Perez is given 25.00 odds for the win... Still he is in a really bad condition. He is just not the right driver for the seat anymore and Red Bull boss must be also aware of that. I know I'm prejudiced as the season is starting new. But after seeing this performance in qualifying I just can't see any difference with the previous season.

Red Bull overlook this for now because of Verstappen's single-handedly carrying the team but at some point Perez would be shown the door.
Odds for Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is even lower.
After qualification and Verstappen getting pole position the odds were 1.16x
Now they have lowered all the way down to 1.12x

Verstappen got pole as usual,
Meanwhile he has basically given an ultimatum that if marko helmut is let go , he will also leave red bull

https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/13090012/max-verstappen-helmut-marko-has-to-stay-at-red-bull-and-says-his-future-at-f1-team-depends-on-advisors-staying
That is interesting since there were news swirling that Toto was proposing towards Max so to fill in where Lewis left a slot as the lead driver.

Saudi Arabian GP starting in about 3 hours from now so place a guaranteed bet on another Max Win?

MVP huh, they already have an abbreviation for him just like most of the veterans on the UFC roster and he hasn't even stepped foot in the octagon for his new organization yet.
Since he is from the UK there was some footage out with him training with Tom Aspinall.
As one person put it during the weigh-ins yesterday, these two are dopplegangers.
Holland has the reach and exact same fighting style as Page so this will make for an interesting fight for sure.
I believe that is why the odds are so close.

Actually the entire main card has fights that are very hard to decide on who will win their bouts and you just have to make a choice and stick to it. That's all you need to do.

Merab is the backup fighter and weighed in yesterday just incase. So it would be good if Suga Show won because fans want to see those two go at it ever since the jacket wearing incident with Aljo.

As for the co-main event, it is 5 rounds so this one will test Saint Denis cardio because we all know Poirier can go the distance but the question is, can he comeback from that devastating loss to Gaethje?

Think I will be betting fight by fight and rolling the winnings into the next fight until the end.
No parlay busters for me this time! Grin

Anyway, the last game for today would be GG vs XG. I cant recall the last time GG missed a playoff so they should be the safe bet for this last game though but the I just checked the odds and it sucks so bad. Its only 1.65 for GG to win and Im not buying it, not even gonna think of taking -1.5 because I might got screwed again lol
See this is why I should shut my mouth up because everything has been going the opposite of what I wrote / said. My losing streak in dota2 is just unbelievable. Well not really losing streak but I lost like 8 times out of 10 times betting and that sucks. Geez I guess GG is already out of the favourites huh, this is the first time since like the last 1.5 years that they dont make it to the playoff
That tends to happen to me aswell when I am betting on other sports, so it just might work for you with betting on Dota2.
Remember Garmin Gaming winning all their matches last year so it just might be the patch boltz has mentioned just below your post on why your picks have been off is all.
Adjust to what those changes affect the teams. So in other words, observe what those where after the update.
Works for me for the entire overall of CounterStrike.

253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 08, 2024, 12:20:02 PM
I thought this was a joke, but I would not fool around with Mike Tyson, he is very fit as he is working with Francis Ngannou, and at 57 he is punching better than most man.
Accepting to fight 30 years younger Jake Paul is crazy, but this is going to be more like exhibition fight to collect money and attention.
I cant wait to see odds and press conference, but now you can enjoy watching one of his training from this year: https://youtu.be/xp2DtSxm6L4
This is a thing. He posted a video on his youtube with a promo video of this fight while getting a face tat so it is happening even if we want to see it or not.

Imagine challenging a guy who is aging and seen as Rocky's coach while training Francis to a fight. Think he turns 58 in June so that is even worse.

Even his former QB coach from the Seahawks said he wouldn't take him at Carolina where he is now in an interview:

With that clause I think he knew going out he is an aging quarterback that just isn't marketable as a new prospect.

For those who are interested in CouterStrike since their transition to Source 2 we have another tournament gearing up to another major this year in Blast Premier 2024.
Tournament just started and have a couple of matches that are about to start.

Saudi Arabian race last season might cost the FIA president for taking Russell's spot on the podium last year and given to Alonso instead.
Recall the penalty given to Aston Martin for touching their car while in the pit while serving a penalty prior to the start of the formation lap for not positioning their car in the start box?
Well avoiding to go by their own rules triggered a huge investigation into the FIA and those involved in this incident including the vice president of a Saudi nation.

258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: March 07, 2024, 11:15:54 AM
Gambling on drugs? Whether it may have become a severe addiction we know drugs are bad all over.

Thinking rationally, even when sober, when playing gambling, sometimes we lose, let alone this semi-consciousness in a state of drug influence, it will lose more because it increases the bet unconsciously, but in a state like this, maybe he will never think about losing or losing a lot of money, the important thing is to play and want to win.

But that's impossible isn't it? I don't know how this situation is because I have never asked a gambler who is under the influence of drugs. But I agree that this is a big mistake.
Have gambled while drinking and only resulted in losses so can't imagine being on a narcotic and thinking it would change the results at the casino.
It would actually make it worse since consuming alcohol limits reaction time while an illegal substance such as the OP's friend probably consumed lifts any restraints of ambition.
So they would probably keep increasing the wager limits on their bet every roll/hand played without any realization to the consequence of their actions.
Equaling in a zero balance very quickly.

I'm sorry to see your ticket being ruined by Aurora even though they did well in copying the Sven pick from Falcons.
Well kinda expected shitty situation to unfold there. I mean Aurora is already on the brink of not going to get to the playoff stage so totally no pressure on them at all but I didnt expect OG to win after losing 1 map there.

Team Spirit looked as if they were on the verge of a comeback but BetBoom had something called Cronos that just destroyed all their players right at the end when it was still 36-23 for the first map.
Not sure what odds they were prematch but the esport bookies still have confidence Team Spirit can still make a game of it.
So what bet did you ended up taking? Team Spirit won the 2nd and 3rd map though so if you bet on them after they lose the 1st map then I guess you should be getting decent odds from there. Anyway even if BetBoom lose against Team spirit, I dont think it really matters because they will still get the upper bracket if they win against Aurora tomorrow
Placed my bet on BetBoom but after they lost map 2 (which the score was 17-16 so I guess they lost it because of having their tower taken) cashed out.
What is this move done during the game, think it is called Crono. They engulf all players in a sphere of black to inflict massive damage.
Yeah, so just knew the oddsmaker had Team Spirit as the more dominant team going in. After getting 1-1 the odds flipped to 1.02 BB and 1.82 Spirit.

Just watching Aurora vs BetBoom where they are winning 14-9. Believe it is map 1.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pattern that 99.9% Leads to Bankruptcy: High Rolling on Slots! on: March 07, 2024, 10:29:41 AM
Way, way, way, low. Yes, that's a lot of "way". Because that's how it is.
I also bet with just the lowest amount and I don't buy those special features just to double the multiplier or enhance the bonus chances. For me, those are just a waste of money.
$10. All of that was taken from me without a single high multiplier so I tried using another $10 and I said to myself that will be the last. Luckily, I hit a good multiplier and made it to $18 and the itch to bet more will start. So, I tried risking the $8 that I won. Sadly, all of it was gone in an instant, no bonuses came out, the normal multipliers are way too low that it could not cover all your previous bets.
Then the itch to bet the last capital $10 will come again. Telling yourself you might get lucky this time and get a higher multiplier than the first one.
Sadly, nothing came out and everything is gone.
I think that is what is happening to those Youtuber. The itch keeps on coming and they keep on scratching it. Cheesy
Watching the lot such as trainwrecks was mind numbing to see how much they just keep betting but he even knows it is rigged in their favor.
He doesn't blame the casino but the provider of those slots of it not triggering the multipliers after they have a certain amount of rolls achieved.
Such in a way they are saying it impossible for a game to not give a bonus if they are losing so much on so many spins.
