241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 17,800,000 BTC already mined on: August 19, 2019, 04:55:56 PM
We still have a long years to go before all bitcoin will be fully mined. This is just year 2019, we do still have about 121 years to go. Most of us wouldn't be around then when the finally block will be mined. This means miners are going to stay enjoying the benefit of mining bitcoin.

So that is why you really need to at least get into the 1 BTC club because you won't see the last bitcoin being mine in our lifetime. It is still my goal though, I mean I wanted to earn BTC not to buy so it might take some time though, but I'm willing to take baby steps to at least get into that range.
it still takes a long time to reach the time you predicted, and we can still enjoy mining bitcoin. but mining bitcoin isn't as easy as a few years ago anyway. it takes a lot of effort and a lot of money to produce a few satoshi only in a day, different from a few years ago which is very easy. of course in the future, in the next few years mining will be even more difficult, and certainly the price will be more expensive because of that.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 19, 2019, 04:52:12 PM
For anyone who was not already sure about the new rule that led to the Manchester City late strike getting ruled out:

Any goal scored or created with the use of the hand or arm will be disallowed this season even if it is accidental.

This lead to another bit of drama which is synonymous with VAR and which I'm guessing we would see a lot of hmthis season.
It will be more fair, but the drama that usually happens in football will disappear. we will no longer see the phenomenon of God's hand goals like Maradona did and others drama in the Premier League. Yeah this is a pro and a cons, but all of that is for the game will be more fair. I quite agree this was applied in the Premier League anyway, and City match yesterday proved it.
243  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best advice you ever heard in case of investments and all on: August 19, 2019, 04:29:58 PM
The best advice i've heard is invest as early as you can, and i think it's very true. It doesn't mean that we have to be careless and don't think straight when we invest, but more like rather than we think "Maybe i'll invest later." or "I don't think now is the right time." we should act and don't hesitate anymore. Because we don't know what will happen unless we start. And invest early can be beneficial too in some cases. Like for example bitcoin. If i invested bitcoin early, then i surely gain many profits because later on the price is high. Rather than i invest that time when the price is already high. But still we don't know what will happen in the future so it may be quite invalid.
But it's not always a good advice, sometimes you have to wait for the right time to come in and buy. like when panic selling in the market, certainly its not the right time to buy right? investing is not about early, but about sensitivity with the opportunities and knowing you have to go in, buy, or wait.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: August 19, 2019, 04:08:57 PM
That was the sad thing for me because i didn't discover bitcoin during the value is so affordable. I really missed it. Lucky those who buy that time that the price of one bitcoin is so cheap 5 years ago and sell during the all time high last year 2017.
Even more sad if you already know bitcoin are cheaper than that price. but stupidly you do not save bitcoin for the long term. Thats is me, I bought bitcoin at the beginning of 2013's while the price was still around $300, stupidly I don't think to save for the future Sad
245  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: August 19, 2019, 03:32:14 PM
I don't think KYC gives any advantage to us. On the other hand, i think it's being a disadvantage for us. Because now our identity can't remain anonymous anymore, and there might be some chance that our identity and data will be misused by some people that might bring misfortune for us because now data mining and selling someone's identity data is so common.
But on the other hand i think it's quite needed to keep on track and also to prevent any crimes and make it difficult for people if by any chance they're going to money launder or something that violate the rules and regulations.
It means it will be positive and negative effect right? the good side of crime in crypto will be reduced because criminals will be more afraid to act because of the KYC being applied. but the downside, there is a lot of data abuse, I work at one of the startups apps and there are many cases of misuse of ID cards because of EKYC
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 19, 2019, 03:19:01 PM
I only currently hold bitcoin, however, I have started learning to trade and I will start to trade soon.

Good idea. I support you to trade and not only leave your Bitcoins on your wallet only.
Holding is not included as earning bitcoin dude, you will get profit if you can grow it on a trade, or any investment site. In my opinion, earning bitcoin is not getting harder, it will always remain the same. if someone says earning bitcoin is more difficult, it means that he does not keep up with the times and does not keep innovating and developing. hone your skills dude!
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 19, 2019, 02:59:21 PM
Coincidence here, my longest streak was 9 in dice game

But a sad stuff here, I already have 14 lose dices in a row trying the martingale method  Grin
9 times a winning streak is quite long, if you are consistent with use large capital and big odds, then the profit that you will get will certainly be very large. Long winning streak will certainly be difficult if you use a small chance of win, like 50% of win, and use martingale, instead you can lose in several rows
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 19, 2019, 02:50:25 PM
In my experiences, I already won but a little amount of BTC only betting on a boxing fight which is Pacquiao-Thurman fight.

Now can I ask you, did you ever won a huge amount of money on gambling?
Share your experience.

I have never won a hug amount on gambling.
This happens because if you want to win a huge amount you have to make huge bets as well. I don't place high bets in my gambling strategy because I don't risk money that I cannot afford to lose.
I don't think so, is it the gambling function is to be rich from whatever capital you have? yeah indeed the chance of becoming rich with a large bets of capital will be greater, but that will certainly be more risky? you can still make big profits and become rich from gambling with little capital also, the opportunity is there, for example using parlay or using big odds. Even small capital can get big profits too dude
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 18, 2019, 02:50:13 AM
There are no secrets in playing gambling because it all depends on luck. Well, most people do a good enough strategy to avoid losses, it's just that I think it all depends on your luck. if you don't find the answer, I suggest pausing to avoid loss.
I think so, if you play gambling games based on luck then there are no specific strategies you can use, there are no special secrets to win, because everything depends on luck. but I believe that games that are not based on luck, like poker will have special strategies and secrets that are owned by experts

Lots of times but I do average on 0.01 btc at least on multiple games I do play on like Dice and Crash games yet I do usually make winnings on these games
and sometimes with sports bet so I cant pinpoint where I do majority plays because it will just depend on my mood.
I have already won in gambling but definitely not a huge amount since i do not gamble most often. The fact that i'm enjoying every game i played is still the most important to me.I may lose some time but it does not made me depressed because i understand that in gambling there is very small chances of winning.
Dont need to play with frequent just to get a big profit. I only gamble a few times every week, I can get a profit of up to 0.1 btc with only 0.005 btc capital in sports betting, I used parlay that time. Big profits are about luck, and if you've gambled for a long time, you must have got it. and yeah the most important thing is to have fun, but being fun without profit will certainly not be enough right?
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 16, 2019, 02:47:28 AM
In my opinion, I think there are usually a lot of gamblers or traders who are unable to control their greediness when they are making money from either gambling or trading, it is also not an easy task for human to control their greediness for more profit from gambling or trading as emotion would usually take over a person mind, I guess it is truly not an easy feat to become rich either from gambling or trading.
That is exactly right, we have to somehow understand why only few people succeeded as a gambler. Greed is one of the hardest emotion that a human could control aside from lust and pride. It is pretty common for even a professional gambler not to be able to control their greed in some occasions. They just somehow manage to make an epic comeback and can overcome those odds. While on the other hand, us which is not a professional one gets burried more
Greedness has been the more reason why people do lose in gambling and investments. It is a very bad spirit and very few can control it. I have been trading and gambling and two things that has made me to make loses are greed and impatience. If you can get control over these two you will succeed in both gambling and trading!
I don't think controlling your emotions and greed can take you to success in gambling. because the main factor to be successful in gambling is not to remain controlled in playing gambling but rather luck. yeah greed can make you lose a lot, but controlling greed doesn't mean you can succeed in gambling
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: if you want to win big...accept defeat on: August 16, 2019, 02:34:08 AM
~
It is not good for us because even though we are failing and repeating the same thing will easily harm us in many cases. Accepting defeat in business is good but in gambling not suggestable because we don't know whether we are going to win for the rest of life through gambling.

It is actually the vice versa, and the whole point of this thread is to prevent gamblers from chasing their losses. Yes, we don't (and we can't) know whether we are going to win, so we must accept our defeat before starting playing and thus save ourselves from the otherwise possible big loss. Preventing a big loss is equal to big win, hence the title of this thread.

I agree with you, if we stop ourself to play continuity in betting that meant we have saved ourself from coming loss in gambling. Actually it is normal thing for you and me and also good gamblers, but it is hard to accept defeat for addicted gamblers, they can't accept their defeat in gambling, they fight till the end and in the end they always in loss. But in my thinking, accept defeat, it is better than you keep losing your whole money.
Thats why accepting losses is important, because it prevents you from becoming an addict. people who sincerely accept certainly will not pursue profits to recover losses. it's not the same as in business dude, in gambling you have to be prepared with all the risks, so you don't panic when something bad happens and stay calm with all of that
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 15, 2019, 02:51:04 AM
I just stoped after my first big win because i thought or guess when i continue and i lose all i getting mad real big !
I was thinking what a lucky guy i am after i has won ! But there was also some losing and i thought just fuck it i wil never play again.
@Lafu this does happen to all of us and it seems I am afraid to play gambling or betting after winning. The fear of losing is always there as gambling is almost about losing money. If I win the desired to keep playing is there then after I will begin to think "what if I play now and lose what I just make"?

Most of the people will experience this type of feeling after winning, till now, i never won any huge amounts in gambling but managed to win very few amounts. For me, the most embarrassing thing is winning huge amounts through gambling is my goal and i keep trying the luck and then i will quit the gambling.
But still many of us continue to play because we think that another big profits will come. in fact it was the wrong step in my opinion. after you win big of course the house will start making you lose that's a fact that happened. follow your heart, stop playing after winning and come back tomorrow. that is the best step you made.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is your worst crypto casino experience? on: August 15, 2019, 02:39:58 AM
once I've deposited $50 in btc in one online crypto casino without doing proper research, I won like $150 and when I wanted to cash out I realized there is x50 wagger, since then I'm making sure to do proper research or look at reputable list of crypto casinos before depositing.

You can cash out your earnings since you have made a deposit on your own. The one that you can't cash out is the deposit bonus.

It's wrong to put bad impressions to them just because you didn't understand the terms.

What's the site? x50 wager?
Indeed, usually those who provide conditions for withdrawing with 50x wager are sites that offer deposit bonuses. You cannot withdraw bonuses and profits before you reach 50x wager, but you can still withdraw on your own capital. Next time, you have to be more selective in seeing the terms of each promo given, because that's the important thing before playing gambling.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 15, 2019, 02:33:58 AM
Of course there are, those who are professionals in gambling are people who can manage their emotions and finances. How can, when they lose a few chips they will stop and when they get a target profit they also stop. Lest we be too ambitious and greedy.
Exactly bro. I think it all depends on our definition of professional gambling. I could refer to myself as a professional gambler because in the time past, I have been able to successfully handle loses, manage wins and also control my emotions not to feel terrible when there is a great loss. Being a professional player does not mean we do not make loses but we have the ability to handle it. This is the reason you will notice a player who that can buy a car from the profits he gets from gambling and another player that has not been able to buy a pen.

I also believe nobody did a course to qualify as a professional player, it all depends on individuals. There is no harm in gambling professionally and also I don’t think gambling as a career is the same as professional gambling.
I think that also, of course there are many gamblers who make gambling as their main occupation, but not all of them are professionals, maybe only a few players are stuck in that, or indeed they have a strategy to manage defeat and win in gambling which you call it professional. What I'm asking gambling is about luck, how can they survive in the long run, because luck is not always always on your side right?
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning bitcoins is against the law on: August 15, 2019, 02:26:07 AM
Bitcoin been a property and assets is right in our own sense but not to the government.
And your points are right.
The main issue is that the government only understands that people are using it as a currency which they can't control. More reason why they intervenes into it before it gets out of their control.
This adds up to them believing that holding Bitcoin has an asset can contributes to less payments of tax which they are indirectly benefiting from.
yeah they think so, the government is too focused on the losses they will get without regard to the great benefits to be gained. although the law belongs to them (the government) but they cannot arbitrarily do it to ban bitcoin. they must have several reasons to consider, that bitcoin is not only used for bad things, but also the interests and benefits of its users, it can be a benefit and improve the micro economy and the country itself.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your family thinks about that you into crypto on: August 15, 2019, 02:12:54 AM
My mom thinks crypto is scam even when I have profit  Huh
Keep looking for profits in crypto over time your mother will understand about it or try to explain a little about crypto because my family previously thought that crypto was a suspicious and scam investment. And so far after I always get income in the form of Bitcoin they support me.
actually the best way to explain and convince someone is to use show off. you're right, keep making a profit dude, buy what you want using the profits in crypto and show your mom what you have got, usually they will change their perspective after they see it, because I've tried it Smiley
258  Economy / Economics / Re: Did Satoshi ever mention anything about the taxing of Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2019, 02:48:17 AM
None that I can remember upon reading some of his posts and interactions with other notable figures in bitcoin. From the looks of it, Satoshi seemed to be that anti-government guy that wants things to stay clear of government intervention and control that's why he created bitcoin. Also, his views are mainly crypto-anarchism, so that per se explicitly states that he will never ever support taxation in any way or form.
I did not also remember that I saw any taxation in bitcoin came from Satoshi Nakamoto. In fact, I think he does not want us to have negotiations against government since he want decentralisation and transparency among people. Well, we already paying indirect taxes in cryptocurrency. We just don't see it because it is in terms of satoshi only. Just like a fee in withdrawals or transferring btc to other wallet.
Of course, I'm sure Satoshi's idea in making bitcoin is because he wants to avoid all the rules and regulations that apply from the government, thats why he makes crypto anonymous and decentralized, of course he is very sad now when see there is a tax that is applied to its users
259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One of the Best Weapons in Trading on: August 10, 2019, 02:41:21 AM
Minimizing the loss while doing trading is one of the important factor to be successful trader but people regrets their loss and give up when they have the lots of opportunities to be missed on the next trades.Always watch the market like hawk and hit the most successful trade if you are lucky enough.
Of course its important, because sometimes the price falls very deep, and if you don't immediately make a choice then you will suffer greater losses and of course it will be very bad for the stability of your wallet finances. but you are right, it does not mean you have to do stop loss every time prices fall, because not always falling prices will bring bad things, because it happened for a while. You must be like an hawk who is good at seeing opportunities
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you buy lottery online in bitcoin payment? on: August 10, 2019, 02:30:41 AM
If there is a lottery outlet near us, then there is no use buying it online, but if you want to bet on a lottery located in another country, then this is a good option to use, some people are betting in a US-based lottery coming from another country, because the prize is 10 to 50 times bigger than what their local lottery is offering.
It's all about the prize there's still  many gamblers who are willing to take the risk when it comes to the amount of possible rewards, buying lottery tickets which is offered from another country might be much higher especially when you are in a third world countries, gamblers who's willing to take that risk will be glad to have another channels for betting online.
I think the problem with lottery online is not the payment, many people have no problem buying lottery using bitcoin. Because that's not the main point. what matters is the trustworthiness of these gambling sites, whether they really pay and give prizes to random and real winners or not ?
