241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is favourite bounty in 2019?? on: April 29, 2019, 05:30:29 PM
My best reward this year was from Populous signature campaign where I earn about 200USD after 1-2 months? I do no remember exactly for how long. But 200USD in bear market - wooow!  Grin

You were lucky that you joined the right campaign. Populous was one of those projects which actually paid some reward to the bounty hunters. A lot of things went right for the hunters with that campaign. The allocation for signature bounty was quite high, and the listing was made at the right time to maximize the bounty rewards.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is favourite bounty in 2019?? on: April 29, 2019, 04:55:57 PM
My friend I have nothing to share about bounties because I am in same position as you ,many rewards from bounties never get listed on exchanges till date but the best bounty I detect this year so far is miracle tele and veil

Veil is already listed in several exchanges such as STEX and therefore participating in this campaign is somewhat safe. But that is not the case with 99% of the campaigns, as the coins are not yet listed in the exchanges. But even for Veil, the rewards are quite low. The maximum monthly reward is only around $45 at member level.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All about bounty payments and its effect to the project on: April 29, 2019, 04:47:44 PM
Bounty hunter sale their token low price. They sale all time low price their token. It never bring any effect of this project. Payment of bounty hunter of ETH. Its a very good idea.
But no one will now pay in eth , the project will simply be at a loss , it is better to pay in tokens as it is profitable for the project , and in General the ico is not in the best spirit

I don't understand this logic. Bounty payments represent around 1% of the total revenue. So you are saying that in case this 1% is paid in ETH or BTC, the project will run in to loss? If that is true, then the project will be a very weak one. I have been arguing for the bounty payments to be made in ETH for a long time. But the ICO promoters are against it, for obvious reasons.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: April 29, 2019, 04:25:51 PM
Yes we still need it for our daily transaction we couldn't use crypto or any online payment even cards for every transactions .
There are still some merchant or business that doesn't accept online payments and preffer to get paid via cash .
The regular companies prefer to take cash for reasons like black accounting in third world countries.  Big companies the developed countries take the challenges easily and they can adapt faster. Crypto payments are early and they need time to see real development.

Tax evasion is a big thing in the third world nations, but many of the bigger nations such as India and Indonesia have started to crack down on the physical cash transactions. In India, individuals need prior permission to keep cash worth more than $3,000 in physical form. But the change will be really slow and will attract the hostility from a lot of people.
245  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump security adviser unveils new U.S. sanctions to pressure Cuba, Venezuela on: April 29, 2019, 04:22:39 PM
I have a feeling that the petro (proposed Venezuelan cryptocurrency) will be used to make payments for shipments of cocaine from Colombia. Crypto can be a very anonymous mode of payment. For example, some American gangster can make the payment in petro and the Venezuelan mafia can ship a few tonnes of the drug to Belize or Honduras. And this petro stash can then be resold to USD by the regime.
246  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Keep religious beliefs personal to promote peaceful coexistence on: April 29, 2019, 04:17:39 PM
because religious societies grow naturally atheist ones like usa or communist russia dont grow naturally and dont work for the long term naturally,

usa is dependent on immigrants that are becoming highly offensive

You are extremely ignorant if you just mentioned USA as an atheistic community. USA is one of the most religious countries out there. Please do some research before typing these things.

The guy likely never heard of the Bible Belt. If there's a place that one could consider atheistic, it would be Europe.

It's kinda true that it's "immgrants" that are having more children in the US. Whites would eventually be a minority, though not as quickly as it is going in Europe.

USA is much more religious when compared to my country (Canada). Even the American metros such as SF and LA have significant evangelical populations. And another thing is that the US is the primary destination for evangelical immigrants, especially those from South Korea, Vietnam and Latin America. If that was not the case, then Trump would have lose the 2016 elections.

Can't believe so many of you guys are against UBI.  Don't you realize that automation has been taking jobs away from humans and its only becoming stronger.

One of the biggest problems is technological innovations are mostly funded by government programs but private corporations use it to make a profit.  For example: internet, cell phones, gps

UBI will reduce crime drastically and give an overall benefit to our society.  We lose a lot of brilliant minds that have great potential due to poverty.

UBI supporters tend to be lazy welfare rats who want free money while sitting at home. Automation is not taking away the jobs. If you have the necessary skills, then it is quite easy to get a job nowadays. Check the unemployment rates that we have now and what we had two decades back. Also, the fact that immigration to the US is increasing just confirms that there is no shortage of jobs here. Just a few days back another caravan of 20,000 Latin Americans started their journey to the US.
248  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Multiple Bomb blasts in Srilanka - churches and hotel ( Read OP for Updates) on: April 29, 2019, 04:05:44 PM
^^^^

I would agree on some points.

The role played by Israel during the Syrian civil war was a very negative one. They were indirectly favoring the ISIS and the Al Nusra Front, by targeting the Syrian army units that were fighting against them. They justified these attacks saying that the Syrian government is providing support for the Hezbollah (and probably the Hamas). But is Hamas a far bigger threat when compared to Hamas? I don't think so.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: April 29, 2019, 04:02:04 PM
Being a recreational gambler, I am not in favor of undergoing the KYC process. Gambling is not illegal in my country, but I am not very comfortable with providing complete strangers (and that too guys associated with the gambling industry) with my ID documents. No matter how much bonus they are ready to provide, I'll just skip them.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Jacobs on: April 29, 2019, 03:57:29 PM
Hmm.... It's nice to see that Jacobs is taking the necessary precautions to ensure that the jury will be unbiased. Talking about the fighting capabilities, I do think that Jacobs is a much better fighter technically. However the betting sites are giving advantage to Canelo. Anyway I will not be placing any bets for this fight. Looks quite risky.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 29, 2019, 03:51:15 PM
Ajax has been very lucky in the tournament till now. But their luck will run out next week against Tottenham.

Lucky ? You've gotta be kidding right ? They've been the most unlucky team in this tournament! Where they are now has nothing to do with being lucky, They are brilliant and just that's it! They played against Bayern Munich in the group stage, Madrid at the round of 16, and Juventus at quarter finals do you still consider them lucky, They were obviously better than any these teams over the two leg matches, and Only lost once, at home to Real Madrid which was controversial, They then went ahead to win the 2nd in a grand style, The same thing against Juventus, They've not been lucky, they fully deserve all their results so far!

Yes, they worked hard for their victories and I wasn't trying to downplay the effort they put in the ground. I was just saying that the things worked out for them at the right time and the other teams couldn't make use of the star power. If you remember their match against Real Madrid, then you will realize that luck played its part. Everyone had written them off, after the 1-2 loss at home. But the away match was such an upset and no one expected that result.
252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to trading? Learn to be an emotionless trading machine on: April 29, 2019, 03:43:29 PM
Whatever the OP has written is 100% correct and my own trading experience during the last 7 years prove it. Whenever I maintained strict targets for profit booking and stop loss, I ended up with nice profit. But when I allowed emotions to overcame me (or perhaps greed got in to my mind), some of my trades gave me very heavy losses.
a trader should not bring emotional feelings because it will affect their calculations and choices. for example if you have done the analysis, and you want to get a bigger profit and you obey it, even though your technical analysis requires you to sell. You must be like a machine, thats why many bots are in trading

It is very easy to post these things. But the truth is that in reality practicing all this is a lot more difficult. Take my case as an example. After repeated rounds of heavy losses, even now I sometimes get overwhelmed by greed and emotional attachment. After all, we are humans and behaving like a machine is not always practicable in real life.
253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL IS THE BEST OPTION FOR ME NOW on: April 29, 2019, 03:40:53 PM
HODL is the best option now for all my altcoins. I will keep Hodling till the bearish market is over. Everyone was thinking that bull run will start toward the end of the year, instead, there is a consistent reduction in price. Let keep hodling next year will get better for everyone.
I want to know what you feel, is there still hope for the remaining 18 days before the year end?

Hodling is only good for a well-established coin, but not so for coins that are just coming out of ICO, we have proven that some coins cannot stand the competition and they cannot complete setting up the platform and complete their roadmap, even if they generate enough funds for their project.

Already established coins are not going to give you 100x or 200x returns. If you want crazy returns, then you need to pick some coin, which has just been listed. But then, you also need to know when to sell this particular coin. Most of the altcoins nowadays undergo a pump and dump cycle, and 90% of them die out once the dump is completed.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump security adviser unveils new U.S. sanctions to pressure Cuba, Venezuela on: April 28, 2019, 06:07:33 PM
Brent crude is now trading at $72 per barrel and it is well above the cost of production in Venezuela. Ideally, the economy should have stabilized due to the high oil prices. But it looks like there is no improvement in the situation and the oil production is dropping with every passing month. Why can't they just sell the oil wells to Russia and use that money to feed the people?
255  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: April 28, 2019, 06:02:53 PM
One of the reasons why I use physical cash is due to its anonymity. Even Bitcoins are not as anonymous as banknotes and coins. Once you transfer the physical cash, it is impossible for the authorities to track them back to you. So whenever I need to make some anonymous purchases, I use physical cash instead of paypal or credit card.
256  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A radical left-right compromise US budget on: April 28, 2019, 05:59:18 PM
I don't agree with most of your ideas.

Replacement of income tax with sales tax: this will slow down the economy, as people will not spend their income
UBI: never going to work as lazy people will just sit at home and refuse to work
Removal of benefits: some groups need welfare, such as the elderly and disabled. You can't deny that to them.
Removal of work related regulations: what do you want? workers dying of exhaustion after working continuously for 48 hours?
257  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Multiple Bomb blasts in Srilanka - churches and hotel. on: April 28, 2019, 05:52:37 PM
You can check last edit in op, according to Sri Lankan's authority it was retaliation.

Quote
Edit 3

Sri Lanka says Easter bombing spree that killed 321 people was 'retaliation' for the mosque shootings in New Zealand

https://qr.ae/TWp4fV

Seriously?

I don't think that we can justify one suicide attack by pointing out another one.

Also, in this case this theory doesn't make any sense. There is no indication that Brenton Tarrant, the perpetrator of the Christchurch terrorist attack was a religious Christian. He was a white nationalist who hated Muslims. And how can the Muslims retaliate by attacking a bunch of non-white Christians?
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you disagree?? on: April 28, 2019, 05:47:45 PM
One thing that I had noticed this week is that Bitcoin seems to be regaining some of its past strength. For example, the Bitfinex scandal was only able to make a temporary dent in the bull run and now the prices are once again moving upward. There were a few other negative incidents, such as the China mining ban and the proposed ban in India. But Bitcoin is holding quite well.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about the gambling site's having a promotion? on: April 28, 2019, 05:44:26 PM
I still remember the promotional campaigns PrimeDice had back in 2014 and 2015. The amounts were quite small, but I was able to accumulate them and then withdraw the coins to my personal wallet a few times. But I know that not all of the gambling sites are that generous. In fact I would say that sites such as Prime Dice are extremely rare.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Jacobs on: April 28, 2019, 05:40:35 PM
I stopped watching boxing after Gennady Golovkin was cheated of a victory not once, but twice against Canelo Alvarez. What is the point in watching these matches if the best fighter is not the one who is going to win? The jury will select the winner, no matter whether he performs well or not. Hopefully the jury will be neutral this time, as Jacobs is American.

Nope, I don't think that the jury will be neutral. Canelo Alvarez has enjoyed the support of the judges just like what we witnessed in their fight with Gennady Golovkin so I would not be surprised at all if we are going to see it again against the American.

That's why Jacobs should finished the fight and KO Canelo and try to broke that granite chin, it might be difficult but not impossible.

The fight will be happening in Las Vegas, and if the jury is stupid enough to favor Canelo over an American national, then it will create quite a few problems for the organizers. I am neither favoring Jacobs, nor Canelo. I want the jury to be neutral and award the match to the best fighter (in case either of the fighters are not able to KO their opponent).
