If you plan to use a booster, you need to activate it before MD2 starts, which is in less than 12 hours...just a reminder. I'm not sure whether i should use the wildcard or only the free transfers available. I'll see how i feel about it tomorrow morning. It's a decent start for me after MD1, but it could have been better i guess. Both De Bruyne and Neymar did not get any attacking returns, which makes me stick with Messi's captaincy points....a success.
Gl everyone with your MD2 selections!
I'm very glad to not have made to have opted for a change to, and now, you can't be sure with what's expected ahead MD2 for Neymar, neither is there a guarantee for Kane either, I think I'll just stick with the free transfer, what would suck more that a waste chip right now, the whole game is already a mess, so much for the most expensive world cup ever, zero fucking preparation. I think the free transfers will work fine just with my plans and choice for captain as well, I have that locked in already.

The second goal by Richarlison was a really beauty. Just perfect! That's definitely the best goal of the first of round and the tournament so far, and it to be honest it's not even close. Brazil showed absolute class, and despite Serbia's resistance for a long period and the first half in general. Brazil just have so many options in attack, and even 80% of their bench players would be starters in most of the teams in this world cup. I just wish that was nothing but a knock that Neymar picked up in the closing minutes of the game, it would be such a shame to see him ruled of the tournament just this early.
@Trofo @Cryptofrka I also didn't find the textbox to enter my Username, I'll wait for a few hours more before submitting my picks incase that wasn't intentional, or putting in my "btt username:" just along the "betslip id:", in the textbox provided for Betslip ID.

This brave punter has layed out over $1000 on Japan to go all the way and lift the World Cup Thoughts on that one?Whoever is this guy, he is a billionaire :-P If he isn't then he is a nut LOL I don't think he's nut, Billionaire ? I doubt that too to be honest, but those kinds of bets makes watching your team more worthy especially when they're doing well enough, If my country had qualify too, maybe I couldn't have gone as far as even $200, but I would have had something on the line too, just as a show support for the team, lol. I'm sure we all would remember the infamous bet a Leicester City fan had for the club to lift the Premier League some years ago, I guess those bets are often come, for almost every team at every tournament.

the defeats of Argentina and also Germany made me a little traumatized by believing 100% in the superior team lol, they looked superior in the first round but the situation turned upside down and lost in the second round, I don't hope in the brazil vs Serbia match this time there will be a big surprise like in the Argentina match and German.
The three of ruled out goals by VAR really impacted the Argentina's mentality, while Germany looked like underestimating Japan. Brazil have different playing style comparing these two teams. Argentina playing with speed which it causes them to get in offside trap easily, especially with this new kind of VAR. The other team, Germany, have no great target man, causes the selfish wingers always trying to shoot anytime they get the ball. Serbia is not a bad team, but I'm sure Brazil will win even with no goals conceded. I'm go to stand by my statement that Argentina's defeat was rather self inflicted, the shouldn't have been caught such terrible offside decision, it was pretty obvious what the Saudi Arabia team was doing after the first 10 minutes, but if they still fell victim for as many as 7 times for an offside trap in the first alone, then they deserve to lose the game then. Germany too, but I really can't ignore the effort from both Saudi Arabia, and Japan, they did really and fully merited their respective victories over the football powerhouses. We've got an 0-0 score, that's Uruguay and South Korea, both teams couldn't afford a single shot on goal, combined!

Has anybody tried to change their captain more then once? According to the rules it should be possible to twist captaincy just once but you never know if that one is implemented properly. I have points from Messi and now thinking on twisting it to De Bruyne or Neymar. I've not done so with my captain, I also have mine on Messi and I don't think I want to take the risk of switching it to Neymar or De Bruyne either, but the substitutions have worked pretty well for me, and I don't think the captaincy should be any different.

Well yeah some people would probably pick Valencia but I doubt that anyone would give him the captain band.
i told you so... you have to be weired to win fantasy I honestly didnt see that coming. That player had Kane and Messi on his team but then decided to put the captain band on Valencia, there was probably still some other options to put that band on his midfielders though but oh well I guess people needs to think out of the box to get decent amount of points rather than selecting only favourites He wasn't being a genius, It's because the FIFA fantasy rules is significantly different from that of FPL, If Valencia had not given him worthy return he would have had the chance to replace him with Harry Kane or Messi, unlike in the FPL where you only get one shot at the captain, and you can't even know if he's going to start or not in the FPL.

Nice one man! Good hit! It's one of those days that it pays off to chase the bigger odds, but Argentina ML would have felt like the safest option, so I feel your pain with the other bet you had to lose, but you didn't have anything on Saudi Arabia ML @ 29 Odds, did you ?
Thanks! It didn't really help as I lost a lot more on Argentina in other big accas, but now Japan just equalised so I might get another bit of help as I've got Japan... Minamino assist and my man of the tournament Ritsu Doan, so nice to see my 2 fav Japanese players get on that goal! And no not Saudi, unfortunately, they aren't even good in Asia Cup... they were 40/1 at HT too (sobs). Japan have taken the lead, man! I'm rooting for you here, just so you know, I could careless of Germany losing their opening game of the tournament, I just hope they'll keep their composure and see this through to the end. Here we go with another potential Saudi vs Argentina repetition, and Argentina also led at halftime, as well through a spot kick, it's all hands on deck! EDIT: Mission Completed! Congratulations mate!

My pick for tonight.
Denver Nuggets(-4,5) vs Detroit Pistons = Denver Nuggets Win 1,72 Odds
I think Denver will be win this game. Murray and Jokic could play tonight.
Good luck guys. I would have tailed you on this one, but there are a number of players in doubt to make the tipoff, both Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic are said to be doubtful for the game, I don't like the chances of the Nuggets if both players misses out. Me neither. I am doubtful that the Nuggets will win here. The Pistons are not that much of a weak team if they are playing against an opponent who will just be using their bench. And they still have Ivey and Bojan to play. I may consider the +10 for the Pistons instead. I'll have to admit now that I was wrong and his bet looks pretty solid, because Denver Nuggets have very a decent team tonight and all their starters are available but Detroit Pistons are still looking rather quite alright and so the +10 for Pistons remains a decent, I'd expect. That said, I likely to only just spectate for tonight, I'm interested in seeing the Grizzlies take on Sacramento Kings, Fox and Malik Monk have been very explosive recently and such a joy to watch, so I hope Ja Morant would be fit for the game, it should be an exciting encounter.
Ja Morant upgraded to questionable which I think is good news. We will just have to wait before game time if he will really play. Don't forget about Domantas Sabonis too. He can dominate the painted area and can also be versatile because of his passing ability. I always loved watching the Sacramento Kings because of their skills and speed. I am rooting for them in this game. Expecting a high-scoring game too. Morant is playing and he was doing okay-ish in the first quarter, getting involved in every part of the game, both teams are still having a go at each other, and there is nothing specifically special yet, but still match worth seeing so far.

I said even before the start of the season he would have left if he could have got a contract sorted out in time before the transfer window closed and it looked like both him and Man U would have preferred that but it just didn't happen as there's few clubs who can afford his wages. I'm sure he'll go in the next window though. He's kind of forced their hand now so they'll probably let him go at a cut rate or even a loss especially if they would just be benching him otherwise. I think the window opens on the first of Jan so with the World Cup happening in a few days I'm sure his agent will be busy behind the scenes trying to get a deal done. I'm even thinking of a mutually terminated contract ? That could work too, probably the best case scenario imho, since he's bound to leave freely next summer right ? I guess that could be the best option for Man United, because I'm sure any team willing to get Ronaldo now would try not pay any type of transfer fee given his enormous wages and the circumstances surrounding both parties, and benching Ronaldo all season long would affect both parties too, because Ronaldo would have to get paid regardless, but himself not playing any competitive game for more than 6 months would it's adverse effect on him too. Yeah, I guess so but Ronaldo would probably come out on top with that deal as he will likely just move on to the same wages or maybe take a little pay cut and United will be out untold millions if they let him go for free, though maybe they'll agree to terminate his contract but the club he leaves for has to either buy him or compensate them. "Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect. The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford." - https://twitter.com/ManUtd/status/1595107357159297029I guess that's what we both saw coming, I'm sure more informative details will come to light over the next few days as insiders begin drop them, I'm however sure that the loses would have been incurred on both sides, I'm pretty surprised that they were able to find a common ground to terminate mutually this soon.

First bore draw of the tournament, didn't watch the game so can't say if it was a different affair on the pitch, anyone lost money on that trap? Argentina won me this nice acca, but I lost much, much more I can't bear to admit adding them to another acca (odds at the time were over 12/10 so I thought it was a nice 20% boost to winnings). Serves me right. Edit: AGAIN offside goal, come on..!
Done sneaking my watching of the game, Saudi can't keep doing offside trap like this, should still be a comfortable 3-0... hate not being able to watch properly =) They did it successfully at the end of the day, didn't they ? I'm very much disappointed that Argentina fell for every single one of them despite how experienced and exposed they are, they looked so primitive a team being caught in those margins, and it should easily have been avoided! I'm livid rn! They sure did... And yes they played well in the first half in general, but they really fell for every offside trap, too easily, all the time, I'm with you here, disappointed they weren't more wise in that way. Teams usually defend deep against them, Saudi went brave and high line, and did it so well. Don't think I saw so many offsides in one half since watching Pippo Inzaghi 20 years ago... I think we might be up for another boring goalless draw, between Poland and Mexico, Mexico have been the better side overall, but I don't think they find the breakthrough goal, and goalless draw would be in the best interest of Messi and Argentina too right ? EDIT: Just after my post Poland seemed to have earned themselves a penalty, VAR to decide! Yes, it was a penalty but then Ochoa denied Lewandowski from the penalty spot, Ochoa goes all missing from all possible club side football news, but shows up at the world becomes a national hero, yet again.

I really don't understand why Steven Kerr didn't choose to rest his star yesterday and have then all in today, I believe that the Pelicans are a much more better team than Rockets, if with their best players they couldn't get a convincing win against Houston Rockets, I wonder how they hope to do it against an healthy Pelicans.
I like that idea. Whenever they will have a back-to-back game they should think about using the 2nd team if their first opponent will be the weaker team. They have a fighting chance by doing that, and then the 1st team will have their rest and be used for the next game against the stronger team. Why didn't they think about that? @Harkorede they need you on the coaching staff. Just kidding. But I do agree with your logic there. I won several live bets but I also lost a lot yesterday, I could say I just got ROI. Yes, I think that should have been be the easy thing to do for Warriors, but I think they probably hoped the starters wouldn't have find it so difficult against the Rockets and they would still get better resting minutes, but they all played for over 35 minutes, I guess that's why the rest was probably essential for them, but I still agree that the better option would have been to play a weaker team vs Houston Rockets, then have their starters all ready for Pelicans as there would be a days rest for the whole team before their next fixture which would be LA Clippers.

I was close to having most of you lose a point at the start, I felt that the 'Qatar to concede over 2,5 goals' was a way trickier question than your replies said. Only 1 out of 35 answers thought they will concede 3+ I think you've finally done so, with Lautaro Martinez to score or assist against Saudi Arabia, or was the answers divided evenly across, Yes and No ? That's the only question I believe I'd have missed so far. Edit: AGAIN offside goal, come on..!

P.S: I pray for that lad who got hit on his face. It looked really bad.
It's an eyesore and it left the keeper very broken for a while but I think he'll be fine really and should even be okay for the second game, because him giving them the thumbs has his being taken of the pitch shows he's conscious and I think that's what could be been the first biggest scare.

Who’s watching Argentina?
Messi with his first goal already, didn’t take long although it was a penalty. I thought it was a soft pen to be honest but you can’t risk grabbing shirts at set pieces. Saudi coming back into it, still only 1-0 so let’s see what happens. Next goal very important here.
Excuse me, what the hell is going on here? Saudi Arabia turning a 0:1 into a 2:1? WTF? Source: Google, World Cup Ticker. And I of course placed one of my freebets on Argentina. Don't be like me boys. I jinxx it all the time. If the match really does end 2-1 for Saudi Arabia, that would probably already be the biggest surprise of the World Cup. Come on, Messi, you can't be serious. Crazy scenes right here man! Argentina could be said to put themselves here, but regardless it's a very great tactics from Saudi Arabia, they seem to be well aware of their situation and were prepared for it! Edit: Less than 10 minutes left to play for, and Argentina would put themselves in the worse position if they can come up without an equalizer at the very least here. It's final! the biggest upset so far, and probably the biggest will see in this tournament!

Messi could have had a double already but another was ruled out due to offside, and Argentina could have been easily up by 6 goals or more just at halftime, the players just needed gotten their run timing right, I really can't believe Argentina are getting themselves so caught up easily with these offside calls, by a fairly inexperienced Saudi Arabian side. We should be up for some more goals in the second half, I guess right ?

Tomorrow is a much tougher game, they are up against the New Orleans Pelicans. I'll be skipping this one, hard to predict because Klay is still on/off.
They are +6 against the Pelicans, well, if we trust the Warriors here, this is the best time to bet on them by riding the moneyline. Thompson's hot shooting might continue, he already gained his confidence and since Poole was already lost in the picture, they need more KT time to boost the team's chance of winning. This could be a trap guys. I don't see Thompson, Curry, Green, and Wiggins in the player props. There's a chance Coach Kerr will be benching them or they will be announced in injury reports before the game starts. Now it's +11.5 so I think the stars won't be playing. Sorry for those who took the early bet. We really have to be careful with back-to-back road games as sometimes management will not risk their stars to be injured due to fatigue. It was indeed going to be a trap, Kevon Looney was the only player from Warriors to be available for the game, and the New Orleans Pelicans have taken complete control of the game, and it's whooping 24 points lead for Pelicans at just halftime, and there is absolutely this Warriors roster can get a thing off this game, we could see total blow win for the New Orleans Pelicans, I really don't understand why Steven Kerr didn't choose to rest his stars yesterday and have them all in for today, I believe that the Pelicans are a much more better team than Rockets, if with their best players they couldn't get a convincing win against Houston Rockets, I wonder they had hope to do it against a healthy Pelicans side. Also the Miami Heat who were +9.5 underdogs vs the Minnesota Timberwolves have also taken a double digit lead into the halftime, I really don't know if they'll allow get the Timberwolves also pull am come here today, but I doubt the chance with Bam Adebayo having a good time out there on the court.
