2401  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 23, 2014, 09:17:20 AM
Coinut's website (www.coinut.com) isn't working...as if it never existed.

The owner sent emails today announcing that everyone got paid (on his site) for their participation in the signature campaign but with the website not loading no one is able to reach their funds to withdraw (let alone anyone that had an options account with Coinut).

This may be the start of another collect and run scam...although I'm trying to remain optimistic.
2402  Economy / Economics / Re: Casascius coin market valuation on: December 23, 2014, 09:05:42 AM
I don't think hype has decreased.

If that were the case you'd see the offer prices falling, but they're not. The offers sellers are making are more expensive now than they were 6 months ago (in BTC terms).

When BTC was worth $650 USD, Casascius coins were going for less BTC than they are now. The price in BTC has gone up and the price in USD has remained somewhat flat.

When that price is agreed upon (of course it's only relevant at that point in time) but when it is you'll see sales happen, right now I don't see or hear of ANY sales happening...and that stalemate has to break at somepoint.
2403  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] COINUT.COM ★ Signature Campaign ★ Pay per post ★ Weekly ★ on: December 23, 2014, 08:59:52 AM
The website isn't working, which means I can't get my payment.

Can you please fix the website?
2404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Xmas Gift Ideas on: December 23, 2014, 12:22:36 AM
A Casascius coin!
2405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your coin count? on: December 23, 2014, 12:09:19 AM
Unfortunately I have under 1 BTC. There is just no reason why I should have more. In my area there is not one person that accepts BTC.

Are you kidding? This forum is "your area" too and many of us accept Bitcoin...
2406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your coin count? on: December 23, 2014, 12:04:24 AM
2871.xx BTC

Aren't you the guy that everyone claims stole a bunch of Bitcoin from people?

Are you a thief?

Are you still thieving? Is that why you say "...and growing"?
2407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: What will the USD/BTC exchange rate do as the dollar collapses? on: December 22, 2014, 11:59:54 PM
The OP's premise is good but there's another reality I want to add to the discussion.

If the value of the dollar is going down, it'll cost more to buy things everyone needs (i.e., groceries, gas, etc.). If salaries don't increase and the cost of goods goes up people will need to use their savings to buy what they need. This savings is, theoretically, what could have been converted into BTC. But it won't be available because it will be needed to cover the difference in the cost of goods.
2408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I invested in bitcoin on: December 22, 2014, 11:55:33 PM
The main reason I invested in bitcoin was because of money. I am young so yes I need money. I have already got my investment back so don't really care about bitcoin price anymore. But of course I still have a few of bitcoins just in case it will go up again and we would be all happy  Grin

Nice strategy.
Getting your investment back ensures that even if bitcoin price goes to zero, you will not feel terrible.  Smiley

YOU SOUND LIKE A PLAYER HATER,JS  SAYIN...

THE ODDS OF BITCOIN GOING TO 0 ARE HIGHY UNLIKELY.

Why do you say "highly unlikely"? I'd love to hear your thoughts, facts, and analysis on this opinion.
2409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I invested in bitcoin on: December 22, 2014, 11:54:23 PM
I invest in bitcoin simple because I believe in this idea and vision behind bitcoin.
I really hope to get rid of banks, bank's loans etc, and achieve financial freedom and right now I think just bitcoin have the potential to help me achieve this.
Also, as early adopter, I really hope that this investment will help me later financially Smiley

Do you think your financial freedom will come if/when banks are gone?

The only way for you to achieve financial freedom is for you to break free of debt, make more money, and use that money to make you even more money.
2410  Other / Off-topic / Re: Amazon Coin. Just had to laugh when I saw this. on: December 22, 2014, 11:32:31 PM
I've known about this for a while. Sure it might be reasonable that Bitcoin could sue for copyright infringement as far as the logo is concerned, but I never really thought it was a cryptocurrency. Just something bogus Amazon is doing.

Bitcoin isn't an entity that can sue people or organizations. Can the Dollar or Euro or Yen sue someone?
2411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How are doomsday preppers using BTC in their plans? on: December 22, 2014, 11:31:26 PM
Are you a Doomsday Prepper?

How are you using BTC in your plans to prepare for any doomsday scenario?
2412  Economy / Economics / Re: [CHART] Bitcoin Inflation vs. Time on: December 22, 2014, 11:29:08 PM
Why has this thread been "sticky'd" in this forum?

I'm sure it's because I don't understand the impact or value of the charts - what difference does it make what the inflation rate will be as bitcoin mining rate slows over time?
2413  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: December 22, 2014, 11:24:43 PM
Because of government force people pay taxes.

The people decide what the government forces them to do...so the people pay takes because they've all agreed they want to pay taxes to pay for collective services.
2414  Economy / Economics / Re: Casascius coin market valuation on: December 22, 2014, 11:20:34 PM

You're kidding right? Tell me you're being sarcastic...if so, well done.
2415  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 22, 2014, 11:18:33 PM
I use BITMIXER for months already. It payed me always out correctly every week. Now it's recently changed as they pay for every post. Great and correct.

BIT-X.com pays you more!

Fuck you no one gives a fuck. I don't give a fuck about your Signature Campaigns anyways....  Angry

Why don't you go suck the Scam Sites Operators' dicks you promote or somethin...

Where's your Hanukkah spirit? Has this not been a happy holiday for you?
2416  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should dogs be citizens? It’s not as crazy as you think. on: December 22, 2014, 11:08:36 PM
Citizenship would require them the right to vote, how would they vote?

A lot of ideas...even if they aren't crazy...are not worth the time, money, and effort become reality.
2417  Economy / Economics / Re: Casascius coin market valuation on: December 22, 2014, 11:02:51 PM
I also think the price will go up in time. What concerns me today is there seems to be a lack of liquidity in sales and it might be due to differences in the agreed upon value.

Hyphymikey mentioned he'd pay 2x face but not more, but there are sellers out there that wouldn't dream of selling for less than 3x face. Do we accept that we're at a standstill and wait for one side or the other to give in OR for a third party to come in and fill the void?

Perhaps the only thing that is for certain is that with only 3 responses to this thread in a weeks time I may be the only one that really things this is an issue.
2418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 22, 2014, 10:10:41 PM
bitcoin heading to ridiculous new highs .. check the price today!

Hahaha, psych.

What about the women? Are you not confident that the new wealthy elite includes some women?
2419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you name your baby Satoshi for 150 bitcoins? on: December 22, 2014, 10:08:27 PM
What's unethical about getting paid to name your kid?

There might be a moral question but I don't think ethics has anything to do with it unless the money you're being given is stolen or laundered.
2420  Other / Off-topic / Re: Amazon Coin. Just had to laugh when I saw this. on: December 22, 2014, 10:06:47 PM
I have no other way to explain this.

Its is beyond sad. It is pathetic.
It is something we should show compassion and understanding for.
But I am still not buying their shitty coins.

Hell I have problems accumulating Bitcoins, why the hell would I waste my money on Amazon coins?

Are all loyalty programs pathetic? Are airline miles sad? Are your credit card points not worth your compassion?

The OP is clearly confused...he/she is taking what is graphically portrayed as a coin and making a huge jump that it some how is related to Bitcoin or crypto currency. It's not. It's just a refreshed way to brand Amazon's loyalty points.

Stop searching for drama, you're worse than the media!
